Our story could have ended very differently. If America had embraced the truth, that would have put us on a far different road than the one we are on today. China Takes A Comprehensive Trade Deal Off The Table, And That Is Disastrous News For The U.S. Economy
The Chinese never intended to make a deal, and now they are publicly admitting it. For months, I have been warning readers of The Economic Collapse Blog that a comprehensive trade deal with China will not happen before the 2020 presidential election, and the reason why this is the case is actually very simple. The Chinese have concluded that President Trump will never give them the kind of deal that they are looking for, and so their entire goal has been to run out the clock on the Trump administration so that they can finally get to a Democrat that will be much more “reasonable” to deal with. Of course if Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders wins the election, they won’t be very “reasonable” either, and so the best case scenario for the Chinese is for either Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton to emerge victorious in November 2020. In A New Campaign Ad, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell Is Vowing To Keep Trump From Being Removed From Office
This is great news for President Trump. In a new campaign ad that is now appearing on Facebook, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is promising voters that he will do all that he can to keep Trump from being removed from office. Of course McConnell can’t keep the Democrats from impeaching Trump in the House, but once the matter shifts to the Senate for a trial, McConnell is promising that he is going to do all that he can to kill it. It would take 67 votes in the Senate to remove Trump, and Democrats only have 47 seats, and so it was always going to be challenging for them to get 20 Republicans to turn against Trump. But now with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell taking such a strong public stand against impeachment, it is going to be almost impossible for the Democrats to achieve their goal. The Democrats are convinced that they finally have President Trump in a trap from which he will not possibly be able to escape. Nancy Pelosi’s plan is to have articles of impeachment ready for a vote some time around Thanksgiving, and she probably would have never started down this road if she did not believe that she already has the votes that she needs to impeach Trump. By stonewalling the investigations that are happening in Congress, Trump can try to push this timeline back a bit, but Pelosi is determined to move forward quickly. All it takes is a simple majority to impeach Trump in the House, and so Pelosi could lose quite a few Democrats and still be successful. Then this matter would move to the U.S. Senate for a trial, and it would take 67 votes to convict Trump and remove him from office. Since the Democrats only have 47 seats in the Senate, you would think that Trump should be safe, but unfortunately that may not be the case. According To The FEC, Hillary Clinton’s Presidential Campaign Is Raising Money – Is One Last Run For The White House Coming?
Could it be possible that Hillary Clinton is preparing to jump into the presidential race? According to the FEC, Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is still active, and it actually raised $165,902.73 during the first six months of 2019. During that same period of time, the campaign spent $131,112.68, and that left her with a war chest of $650,264.43. That isn’t enough to win the Democratic nomination, but it would certainly be enough to get another run for the White House off the ground rather quickly. “Hillary For America” is the name of her official campaign committee, and during 2015 and 2016 it raised a total of $585,669,598.83, but that still wasn’t enough to beat Donald Trump. However, with impeachment mania reaching a fever pitch in Washington and with the Biden campaign fading, Hillary may sense an opening.
