We Are In The Midst Of The Worst Drug Crisis In American History

There has never been a time in our history when more Americans have been on drugs.  According to the most recent government numbers, 24.6 million Americans have used an illegal drug within the last 30 days.  Of course the number of Americans taking legal drugs is actually far, far higher.  According to Bloomberg, 46 percent of all Americans have taken at least one legal pharmaceutical drug within the last 30 days.  In most instances, those legal drugs have been prescribed by doctors with the intention of helping people, but sometimes legal drugs are even more addictive than illegal drugs are.  In particular, opioids have destroyed countless American lives over the past decade, and in so many cases those that got addicted originally got them legally.  Today, Americans consume approximately 80 percent of the total global supply of opioids, and it is a major national crisis.  But even if we were able to get rid of all the opioids, we would still be the most drugged up nation on the entire planet.  We have become a nation of addicts, and the self-destructive path that we are on does not have a positive ending. The Average Person Will Watch Over 78,000 Hours Of Television “Programming” Over The Course Of A Lifetime

If you want to waste your life, a great way to do that is to spend tens of thousands of hours watching television.  Today, it is so difficult to get people to leave their homes and get active in their communities, because most of us are absolutely glued to one screen or another.  After a long day at school or a hard day at work, most of us understandably want to relax, and from a very early age most of us have been trained to turn to the television as our main source of relaxation.  But of course there is great danger in allowing anyone to pump thousands upon thousands of hours of “programming” into our minds.  More than 90 percent of the “programming” that we consume is controlled by just a handful of exceedingly powerful corporations, and those corporations are owned by the elite of the world.  So when you endlessly consume their “programming”, you are willingly being bombarded by news and entertainment that reflects their beliefs, their values and their agendas.  They openly admit that they are trying to shape the future of society, and up to this point they have been extremely successful. As The NFL Season Begins, The Social Decay In NFL Cities Is Worse Than Ever

This year America is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the NFL.  Every week, millions of us will gather around our televisions to watch extremely well paid young men throw a football around.  I love football myself, and I am hoping for a really good season.  But while these highly paid teams are playing in some of the most beautiful sports stadiums in the entire world, the cities that they represent are rapidly falling apart all around them.  From coast to coast, major U.S. cities are rapidly being transformed into rotting, decaying hellholes, and it is getting worse with each passing year. The Most Medicated Country In The World: 46% Of Americans Have Taken A Pharmaceutical Drug Within The Last 30 Days

If it seems like about half the country is on drugs, that is because it is actually true.  According to a new survey from the National Center for Health Statistics, almost half of all Americans have taken a pharmaceutical drug within the past 30 days, and that officially makes us “the most medicated country in the world”.  And needless to say, those dealing these drugs are becoming exceedingly wealthy at our expense.  The average American spends $1,200 a year on prescription drugs, but of course many Americans spend far more than that and others spend nothing at all.  In recent years there has been a tremendous backlash against the big pharmaceutical corporations, because many of them have become exceedingly greedy.  As you will see below, prices have been raised on 650 different drugs this year alone.  Once they get their claws into you, the pharmaceutical giants want to get every last penny out of you that they possibly can. If “Slow Wifi” Causes “Major Stress”, How Are Young People Going To Make It When Times Get Really Tough?

You won’t believe some of the things that are causing “major stress” for young people in America today.  According to a brand new survey that was just released, 58 percent of all American Millennials believe that “life is more stressful right now than ever before”.  And so what is precisely making life so stressful for our young adults?  Well, apparently their phones are a big part of the problem.  In the survey, “losing phone”, “phone battery dying”, “forgetting phone charger” and “phone screen breaking” were all among the top 20 sources of stress cited by Millennials.  Also making the top 20 were “choosing what to wear” and “washing dishes”.  Here is the complete list(Read More...)

The Average Adult In The U.S. “Logs 6 Hours, 43 Minutes Of Total Screen Time Daily”

Can you imagine a society where there are no phones, no televisions and no computers at all?  America was once such a place, but now everything has changed.  Today, most Americans willingly plug themselves into “the matrix” for multiple hours each day.  We are increasingly living our lives through our screens, but in the process the amount of real human interaction that we have with one another just continues to go down.  We are absolutely addicted to our phones, our televisions and our computers, and many of us actually become extremely physically uncomfortable if we are forced to “unplug” for even a few hours.  But even though we already know all of this, the numbers from a brand new survey that was just released are still hard to believe.  According to a survey of 2,000 people, the average adult in the United States spends about six hours and 43 minutes a day staring at a screen(Read More...)

Watch What Happens When A Baby That Is Addicted To A Cellphone Has It Taken Away

You have got to watch this video!  I have to admit that I was mesmerized when I first starting watching it.  This baby appears to be less than a year old, and yet it already throws a massive temper tantrum every time a cellphone is taken away.  But as you will see in the video, all the mother has to do to stop the tantrum is to give the cellphone back to the baby.  If you need a good laugh, this video is perfect for you, but I think that it also contains a much deeper message.  You see, the truth is that our society is just like that little baby.  We have become deeply, deeply addicted to the digital world that we have created, and when we are forced to disconnect from that world most of us don’t respond very well. Shocking New Studies Find That America’s Young People Are Overweight, Unhealthy, Suicidal And Addicted To Alcohol And Drugs

After reading the information contained in this article, you will probably find yourself questioning if America is going to be able to survive for much longer, because our young people are a complete and total mess.  Yes, all generations of Americans have had their problems, but this generation appears to be particularly screwed up.  Obesity rates are at all-time highs, a third of all American teens have not read a single book within the past year, and the average high school senior spends six hours a day on the Internet.  On top of all that, we are seeing unprecedented levels of suicide, drug overdoses and liver disease (due to heavy drinking) among our young people.  Like other empires throughout world history, will we be undone by our own excesses?
