Sometimes it takes a great tragedy to get us focused on what really matters.  Over the past couple of years, millions upon millions of people have died all over the globe, and millions more will soon die.  Most of us tend to think that we will live to a very advanced age, but the truth is that death has come for many a lot sooner than they expected.  Personally, I have been absolutely shocked by the number of people that have been suddenly dropping dead in recent weeks.  There are those that I knew personally that are now gone permanently.  There are others that did work that I greatly admired that have passed away way too early.  Death is seemingly everywhere, and I expect to see the death toll continue to rise in 2022. Facebook, Twitter and other big tech companies actually want standardized Internet speech regulations.  In fact, Facebook has been spending millions of dollars on ads that openly call for more government regulation of speech on the Internet.  You can view an example of what I am talking about right here.  At first glance, it may seem odd that Facebook wants more government regulation of the tech industry, but it actually makes perfect sense.  If the federal government is the one making the rules, Facebook and the other big tech companies can legally censor you into oblivion without ever having to worry about any legal consequences.  And then because all other social media platforms in existence will have to follow the exact same rules, there will be nowhere else for you to turn.  There won’t be any “free speech alternatives” to Facebook and Twitter, because all of those “alternatives” will be forced to apply the same speech standards that Facebook and Twitter and applying. Joe Biden keeps telling us that he wants a strong economy, but he keeps doing things that he knows will hurt the economy.  How can we explain this?  One possibility is that he is simply extremely incompetent.  Perhaps he really does want to improve the economy, but all of the economic decisions that he makes turn out badly because he lacks competence.  Considering how much he has declined physically and mentally, and considering the lack of quality in the team that he has surrounded himself with, that is not a completely implausible theory.  But others would suggest that nobody could do this much damage to the U.S. economy unless it was being done on purpose.  Biden just keeps making more moves that have people scratching their heads, because it almost seems as if he doesn’t even care about the political consequences of his actions. The forces of political correctness ruin everything that they touch, and that includes our major sports leagues.  I grew up in the 1970s and 1980s, and that was truly a golden era for sports in America.  Back in those times, men were still men, entire cities would erupt with euphoria when an important game was won, and the most intense rivalries spawned legends that will never be forgotten.  When the newspaper arrived each day, I couldn’t wait to devour the sports section, and that is because the sports section was actually about sports in those days.  Today, our soulless sports leagues inspire very little joy, and most of what constitutes “sports journalism” at this point is absolutely sickening.  Sadly, most stories are about who has done something that is not sufficiently politically correct and needs to be punished by the media. Is there a hidden message in Facebook’s new name?  Like most of you, I was quite surprised to learn that Facebook is going to be called “Meta” from now on.  As one of the biggest corporations in the entire world, this is not something to be done lightly.  I am sure that much deliberation, research and market testing went into that decision.  So either a colossal mistake was made, or Facebook chose a name with a very particular Hebrew meaning on purpose.  According to the Jerusalem Post, Facebook’s new name actually means “dead” in Hebrew… (Read More...)

It is often said that children are the future, and America’s children are being raised in nightmarish propaganda centers that are cesspools of sex, violence and just about every type of evil that you can possibly imagine.  All the way through my education, I attended public schools, and they were really bad in my day.  But now they are so horrific that I don’t know why any parent would ever want to subject their children to such an environment.  When they are in class, children are being systematically taught “values” that are completely and utterly un-American, and when they are out of class that is when the real danger begins.  Just when you think that our public schools can’t possibly sink any lower, somehow they find a way to do exactly that.  For example, consider what just happened at Hazard High School in Kentucky… (Read More...)
