After the events that we witnessed on Tuesday, there will be no going back to the way things used to be.  A cataclysmic war in the Middle East is not going to benefit anyone, but at this point it is difficult to see how one will be avoided.  By directly attacking the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, the Iranians and their allies crossed all the red lines.  The U.S. embassy is considered to be U.S. soil, and if President Trump does not respond militarily to this brazen attack on our sovereignty he is going to look like a total wimp to the rest of the world.  But then of course Iran and their allies will respond to the attack that Trump launches, and the U.S. will be forced to escalate the conflict even more. During colonial times, European powers exploited Africa for the vast resources that it possesses.  But what China is doing today is actually much worse.  Yes, the Chinese greatly desire African resources, but ultimately what they want is Africa itself.  But instead of conquering Africa using military force, China is using economics instead.  Today, more than 10,000 Chinese-owned firms are operating in Africa, and virtually every major road, bridge, railway and skyscraper is being built by the Chinese.  As a result, most African nations are very deeply indebted to China at this point.  And as you will see below, when those debts go bad that gives the Chinese a tremendous amount of leverage. The events of the past couple of days should be a major wake up call for all of us.  The number of mass shootings in the United States hit a record high in 2019 as the thin veneer of civilization that we all take for granted on a daily basis continues to disappear.  And these mass shooters seem particularly attracted to soft targets such as schools and churches.  When I was growing up, I never even imagined that a gunman might storm into my school or church and start shooting.  And as far as I knew, neither my school nor my church had any sort of armed security.  But now if you are attending a church or sending your kids to a school that does not have armed security, you are literally gambling with the lives of your family members.  The world that we live in has dramatically changed, and if we choose to ignore the harsh realities that now confront us, we do so at our own peril. When the Russians take decisive action, it is usually for a reason.  As you will see below, the Russians have suddenly decided that now is the time to create an organization that will be tasked with detecting, tracking and potentially destroying incoming asteroids.  Are they doing this now because they have finally decided that this is a good idea, or has something gotten their attention?  Of course they are not likely to publicly admit if they have come to the conclusion that a gigantic space rock is heading directly toward us.  Just like the U.S. government, the Russian government is very interested in maintaining social order, and so they would probably delay telling the public about a potential asteroid impact for as long as possible. The bitter feud between President Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has just gone to an entirely new level.  On the brink of being impeached, Trump sent an absolutely scathing letter to Pelosi on Tuesday in which he accused her of “declaring open war on American Democracy”, “breaking your allegiance to the Constitution” and “interfering in America’s elections”.  In the letter, Trump said that he wrote it “for the purpose of history and to put my thoughts on a permanent and indelible record”.  Of course Trump knew that he would not be able to affect the ultimate outcome of the impeachment vote, but he wanted future generations of Americans to be able to look back and clearly understand what was being done to him.  This is the culmination of a long crusade by the left to try to take Trump out, but of course if Trump wins again in November 2020 there will be more attempts in the future.  The visceral hatred that they feel toward Trump comes out in everything that they do, and they are never going to stop until they are finally able to get rid of him. If You Are Still Watching Netflix, You Are Part Of The Problem

The major entertainment companies in the United States all produce a relentless deluge of filth and garbage, but Netflix is the worst of them all.  For years they have been creating vomit-inducing movies and shows that openly mock faith, family and traditional American values, but their subscriber base just kept growing and so they just kept doing it.  Over the years, the general population has become entirely desensitized to the sex, violence and foul language that is peppered throughout our “entertainment”, and that is extremely unfortunate.  But what Netflix is doing is on an entirely different level.  They have literally turned blasphemy of the Christian faith into “entertainment”, and apparently they believe that the American public is willing to accept this.  The following description of a new movie about “Jesus” that Netflix just released comes from LifeSite News… (Read More...)
