The tremendous chaos that is gripping communities all over this country did not emerge out of a vacuum.  For years, poverty and homelessness have been on the rise.  According to a recent report from Harvard University, the number of homeless Americans has increased by almost 50 percent in less than a decade.  Meanwhile, the ranks of the poor have been growing as the middle class has been eroding.  Today, approximately 40 percent of the entire U.S. population is considered to be either living in poverty or among the “working poor”.  According to Wikipedia, the bottom 50 percent of the U.S. population only has 2.6 percent of the wealth.  And that number is from 2021, and so things are almost certainly even worse today.  All of this economic suffering is helping to fuel a deeply alarming explosion of theft and violence in our major cities, and our leaders don’t seem to have any solutions. In 2024, virtually all major U.S. cities have certain things in common.  First of all, if you visit the downtown area of one of our major cities you are likely to see garbage, human excrement and graffiti all over the place.  As you will see below, some of our core urban areas literally look like they belong in a third world country.  Most of our politicians don’t seem too concerned about doing anything to clean up all the filth, and so it shouldn’t be a surprise that rat populations are absolutely exploding all over the country.  In some of our largest cities, the total rat population is numbered in the millions.  Meanwhile, rampant theft, out of control violence, endless migration, predatory gangs and the worst drug crisis in the entire history of our nation have combined to create a “perfect storm” of social decay that is unlike anything that any of us have ever seen before.  Millions of law-abiding citizens and countless businesses have been fleeing America’s largest cities, and property values in our core urban areas have been absolutely crashing.  We really are in the early stages of a full-blown societal “collapse”, and things just keep getting worse with each passing day. The city of Chicago has become a time bomb, and it is a prime example of a very disturbing trend that is happening all over America.  Criminal gangs are thriving in most of our major urban areas, and Joe Biden’s open border policies are greatly fueling their growth.  With each passing day, more deeply impoverished young migrants pour into our cities, and many of them are quickly recruited by gangs.  It would be difficult for me to overstate the seriousness of this crisis, but it is largely being ignored by the mainstream media. No matter who the American people elect as their representatives, the permanent ruling class in Washington D.C. remains the same.  Unfortunately for all of us, this permanent ruling class has become absolutely desperate to win the war in Ukraine.  One member of that permanent ruling class, Victoria Nuland, is pleading with Congress to approve more funds for the war.  One of her arguments is that “we have to remember that the bulk of this money is going right back into this economy to make those weapons”.  Oh yes, pouring giant mountains of money down the gullet of the military-industrial complex would certainly be good for economic growth.  But if we allow the permanent ruling class to drag us into a shooting war with Russia, millions of Americans could end up dead. If you want to live a great life, live a life of great love.  I first wrote those words back in 2017, and they are just as true today as they were back then.  We exist in a love-starved society, and that is one of the reasons why so many people feel down and depressed all the time.  Today, millions of Americans are on antidepressants and other psychiatric drugs.  In fact, it has been reported that more than 250 million prescriptions are issued for antidepressants in the United States each year.  Others try to self-medicate by using illegal drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling or other forms of entertainment to make themselves feel better.  If it seems like most people in the general population are desperately unhappy, that is because most people in the general population really are desperately unhappy. Americans have had a love affair with their televisions for decades.  Most of us consume more than a thousand hours of “programming” each year, and the vast majority of that “programming” literally celebrates evil.  Just think about it for a moment.  When is the last time that you watched a program on television that focused on things that are noble, true, honest, pure and virtuous?  From time to time you can find a show like that, but most of the content on our televisions is full of garbage.  And if you pour thousands of hours of garbage into the minds of the American people, you are going to get a demonic society in which just about every form of wickedness that you can possibly imagine is exploding all around us.
