Why?

Why - Photo by NikopoleyWhy does it seem like America is getting crazier with each passing year?  It has become glaringly apparent that very deep corruption has taken root in our society from the lowest levels of society all the way up to the highest levels of society.  In fact, some of the worst behavior of all is being exhibited by those that are supposed to be “examples” for our young people – politicians, bankers, lawyers, CEOs, etc.  As we enter 2013, the American people are greedy, selfish, boastful, proud, arrogant, disrespectful, ungrateful, materialistic, unforgiving, without self-control and they are completely and totally addicted to entertainment.  They believe that America will always be “the greatest nation on earth” just because of who we are, and they believe that the rest of the world should look up to us as a bright, shining example of everything that is good in the world.  Meanwhile, we lead the world in a large number of negative categories and our society is decaying right in front of our eyes.  It reminds me of what happened during the waning days of the Roman Empire.  The Romans just assumed that Rome would always be dominant forever, and they became extremely complacent and extraordinarily decadent.  We all know how that turned out, and at this point things are not looking good for America either.

So where do we go from here?

Well, it might help to ask ourselves a few questions as another year begins.

The following are 25 “why questions” for you to ponder as we enter 2013…

Why did the New York Times (the most read newspaper in the country) publish an article by a Georgetown University professor entitled “Let’s Give Up On The Constitution“?  What kind of message are they trying to send by publishing that trash?

Why is the U.S. government actively supporting and giving aid to Syrian rebels that are beheading Christians?  Just the other day, Syrian rebels beheaded one Christian man and fed his body to dogs.  The man that they killed had recently been married and was expecting his first child.

Why is the U.S. military sending troops to 35 different African nations in 2013?  Can we really afford to be the police of the world?

Why does California keep doing such stupid things?  On January 1st, more than 800 new laws (most of them ridiculous) go into effect in the state.

Why is so much U.S. real estate being bought up by China?  Chinese citizens purchased one out of every ten homes that were sold in the state of California in 2011.

Why is Texas Governor Rick Perry resurrecting the Trans-Texas Corridor project?  Does he honestly believe that nobody will notice?

Why is the mainstream media ignoring the fact that the percentage of Americans that are against a ban of handguns is at an all-time high?

Why is the mainstream media ignoring a recent theater shooting that was stopped by a man with a gun?

Why do celebrities that claim to be “anti-gun” constantly make movies that are absolutely brimming with gun violence?

Why is genetically-modified rice that has human genes in it being grown in Kansas?

Why is the Obama administration working so hard to “force Christians to act against their faith“?

Why was a surveillance drone hovering over the Vikings-Packers game at the Metrodome on Sunday?

Why did the U.S. government ask the Mexican government to help them increase participation in the U.S. food stamp program?

Why does the U.S. government have a website that teaches immigrants how to sign up for welfare programs once they arrive in the United States?

If “terrorists” are the threat we are all supposed to be worried about, then why is the U.S. government spending gigantic mountains of money to watch and monitor Americans?  Today, the American people are the most surveilled people in the history of the world.  Why is this happening?  What will our society eventually look like if we keep going down this path?

Why is the mainstream media being so quiet about the giant sinkholes that are opening up all over the world?

Why have volcanic activity and earthquake activity along the Ring of Fire increased so dramatically as we approach 2013?

Why are Protestants losing political power so rapidly in America today?

Why does the Obama administration seem so determined to reduce the size of the U.S. strategic nuclear arsenal?

Why don’t more Americans know about the population control agenda of the global elite?

Why are so many workers claiming Social Security disability?  Back in 1967, there were about 41 workers for every person on Social Security disability.  Today, there are only about 16 workers for every person on Social Security disability.

Why do 77,000 federal employees earn more money than the governors of their own states do?

Why does it cost American taxpayers more than a billion dollars to take care of the Obamas each year?

Why is Hillary Clinton the most admired woman in America?

Why is Barack Obama the most admired man in America?

Do you have any why questions to add to this list?

If so, please feel free to post a comment with your suggestions below…

  • http://karmaeconomics.blogspot.com/ lavista4u

2013 will be the year when the “force of darkness” makes its move on humanity. We are screwed and unless we change our behavior we may never be saved.

Humanity has pissed not only bad guys but good guys as well, who were willing to give humanity another chance. Our greedy, selfish, me-first nature is scaring away even the good guys.

The entire human race have become like Piers Morgan across our galactic civilization. There is not a single benevolent alien race out there who wants to vouch for us.

    Its going to be worse

    • Nexusfast123

Piers Morgan the new bogey man….well I never. The lord of imaginary darkness.

  • BeenThere

I can answer this one: “Why are Protestants losing political power so rapidly in America today?”

One word,”antinomianism”. God cannot bless Christians who speak out against His law.

    • KP

You have no idea how right you are.

    • Grim Jim

The cultural marxists have done a terribly good job.

    • Nexusfast123

Pointless drivel as the imaginary make believe entity does not exist. Can’t bless something that does not exist can you. How do you know the imaginary make believe skybeing is a ‘he’, why not a ‘she’ or an ‘it’.

      • kevo7262

Ok, so just to answer ur question without being confrontational… We know that He is a he bcuz the Bible tells us so. So, I assume u will just discredit the Bible as fiction, and with that being said, I challenge u to check out a few youtube videos of popular celebrities and various artists who come rite out an tell u that they literally hav sold their souls to the devil for fame an fortune.., their words not mine. Now, assuming u hav done some digging and exploring on ur own and that u possibly may believe these things that they are sayin could possibly be true.., then logically u would hav to assume that there is a God in Heaven as well, correct..? There is a ton of very compelling interviews with multiple different celebrities and I believe once u see some of these that u may begin to at least queation a few things u may hav discredited b4. Please don’t take this with any ill-will bcuz there is none i tended. Just tryin to answer ur queation and possibly point u in the rite direction. Thanx for listenin!

        • Brian Miller

Well, there’s so many fallacies and faulty logic, to circular reasoning, to the argument from authority, anecdotal evidence, non-sequiturs, and so many errors in terms of spelling and grammar that I doubt that Nexus (or anyone else for that matter) will take you serious.

      • Mondobeyondo

        God is very real.

    • The Majority

Maybe protestans are losing power because whites are no longer the majority, the Hispanics are. And they are catholic. Has nothing to do with “antinomianism”. Also, so what if you don’t have political power, let others hold the reins of power for a bit you selfish pigs!

  • cleo

I guess my question is why don’t we put a stop to all of this? And how do we do it? How far will we be pushed until we shove back? I think we’ll find out in 2013.

    • Kukye

No, but it will start showing its first wrinkle.

      • kevo7262

I believe it will show a wrinkle, but not its first.. At this point it looks more like the face of an old pug!

  • cleo

In regards to rice with human genes being grown in Kansas, I find that hard to believe……too hot in summer, and too dry. To the best of my knowledge rice is only grown in SE MO, AR, and parts of LA. But, I may be wrong, but I don’t believe it.

  • Tj

I agree. Will 2013 be the year that America dies ?

    • Brian Miller

Wasn’t everyone blabbering in articles (like these ones) and videos on how American society was “supposed” to collapse last year? And the year before that? And so on…

    • Mondobeyondo

It’s foolish to try to give a specific timetable as to when such and such will happen. You can try if you want, but your prediction will end up like that pastor in Florida who said the world would end 2 years ago. Or those Mayans who supposedly predicted the end of the world on December 21st last year. Yes, America is going to collapse. That much is certain. But exactly when, no one knows. One thing’s for sure – when it does happen, you will know it!

  • liberranter

Chinese citizens purchased one out of every ten homes that were sold in the state of California in 2011.

BEAUTIFUL! Dare we hope that this means that, after a few years, the population of that socialist hell hole will be sufficiently Chinese that they’ll break it off from what little remains of Amerika and annex it to China?

Nah, there’s nowhere near that much mercy in the universe – especially for a nation as undeserving of such mercy as Amerika.

Why is Texas Governor Rick Perry resurrecting the
Trans-Texas Corridor project? Does he honestly believe that nobody will notice?

C’mon now, this is Rick Perry we’re talking about, fer cryin’ out loud. This is a guy whose IQ is about a mere three points above that of his political brother GWB, and only that much more because he has fewer bowel movements than Bush. Even without the “Perry Factor,” this is Texas we’re talking about. ‘Nuff said.

Why is the mainstream media ignoring the fact that
the percentage of Americans that are against a ban of handguns is at an all-time high?

An even more important question to ask is why the MSM get so much undeserved attention in the first place from people who should know better than to give them such attention.

Why do celebrities that claim to be “anti-gun”
constantly make movies that are absolutely brimming with gun violence?

Because the brainless morons who make up the numerical
majority in Amerika buy such celluloid violence – lots of it. Hypocrites though they may be, these celebs are only responding to market demand (admittedly a “market” most of them, McMansion Marxists that they are, despise the very concept of, even as they hypocritically get rich off of it).

If “terrorists” are the threat we are all supposed
to be worried about, then why is the U.S. government spending gigantic mountains of money to watch and monitor Americans?

Because, just as they’re too stupid to understand everything
else that’s as obvious as the noses on their own ugly faces, the Amoricon sheepletard majority doesn’t realize that they ARE the “terrorists.”

Why are Protestants losing political power so
    rapidly in America today?

How is that a bad thing? Their unbiblical craving for temporal political power is at the root of many of our current problems in the first place. If more so-called “Christians” would read and heed the messages of the Gospels, the nation would actually be a much better place!

Why don’t more Americans know about the population
control agenda of the global elite?

Because it doesn’t involve dancing, athletics, promiscuous
sex, or flashy, tawdry celebrity lifestyles. Worse still, it actually requires an understanding of scientific terminology based on words of more than two syllables. To put it more simply: “Hey’ we’re talkin’ about Americans here.”

Why is Hillary Clinton the most admired woman in America?

Why is Barack Obama the most admired man in America?

I’d take this with a few pounds of salt, Michael. Consider the source of these “facts.” We’re talking about a “newspaper” that’s marketed toward people with fourth grade reading comprehension levels, so I wouldn’t take these claims too seriously.

  • Kritischer_Realist

The U.S. have the same problem that the decaying Roman Empire had: ethnical diversity. The Romans granted civil rights to non-Romans, even to people from Asia and Africa. So the Roman Empire became a melting pot that melted down. The same thing is happening in the U.S. of today.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001123475227 Vincent Ross

You are partially correct. Ethnic diversity is not so much of a problem… where it becomes a problem is when citizenship is granted to large numbers of people who have no historical ties to the founding principles of the nation and no real understanding or belief in those principles. While immigrant populations are kept to a low level so that their children assimilate and come to have ties to those institutions and principles… it is a grave threat when large percentages of the population has no such connections.

Other factors that are mirroring the Roman Empire are the Public Dole (welfare state), moral corruption and decadence, a military which is allowed to grow weaker while demands upon it grow larger, and lack of sense of civic duty while being preoccupied with petty amusements and entertainments.

      • Kritischer_Realist

I agree. Although I think that the military demands are that big for the U.S. (and were that big for Rome) because the empire became too big. Rome would have been better off if they had not tried to rule the world.

And the decline of the American power began when 1917 they interfered in the European war and thus made it a World War.

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1200086073 Brent Jones

Gunsmoke’n comment! There’s some real sharp folks reading this website, apparently…take care!

    • Brian Miller

Ethnic Diversity, huh? So what’s the solution? Mass genocide of a particular ethnicity? Deportation back to their “homeland,” even if that’s here? Maybe we should enslave them like the good ol’ times?

And you’re very generic in terms of a solution and what ethnicity would reap the benefits.

      • Kritischer_Realist

So you’d rather go down than repatriate non-Americans?

Enjoy it as the Romans surely enjoyed the downfall of the Roman Empire and the mass killings, mass rapes and systematic plundering of their homes by foreigners they had declared »citizens of Rome«.

        • Brian Miller

          So who gets deported, xenophobe?

          • Kritischer_Realist

Who is speaking of deportation, enemy of the American Empire? I definitely not.

          • Brian Miller

Well that’s he only way to solve the problem, short to genocide.

          • Kritischer_Realist

You should read what I write before you try to answer. The answer is repatriation, not deportation.

I get the impression that you would like a downfall of the U.S.

          • Brian Miller

Okay my mistake, only that I don’t see that much of a difference from deportation and repatriation, based on their definition, where one is advocated to return to their country of origin and the other is forced into doing so.

But it doesn’t change the question on who exactly gets repatriated and to where. How would you respond to the people who you want to leave and go back to their “homeland,” if their homeland is here?

And why should they leave and you shouldn’t? Why do you get the special treatment?

“I get the impression that you would like a downfall of the U.S.”

Non-sequitur, because that’s not where I’m going with this at all.

          • Kritischer_Realist

So you do not see the parallels to the decline Roman Empire?

          • Brian Miller

Please spare me. The decline of the Roman empire fell upon numerous factors and multi-culturalism wasn’t the only one.

And besides, its frivolous to compare their society with ours. I mean, yeah we agree in some respects but that’s about it.

          • Kritischer_Realist

One of the other factors was the decadence of the Romans who allowed strangers to become »Romans«. And it was the socialist attitude to give bread and games to the masses without having them to pay for it.

          • Brian Miller

And many more were economic instability, numerous assassinations of Roman leaders, numerous invasions by rouge factors, and numerous take overs of the Romans sanctified grounds by other groups.

Like I said, it just wasn’t that alone.

          • TheKnowerseeker

I don’t think that free entertainment for entertainment’s sake alone is a “socialist” idea. Socialism is about providing necessities, near-necessities, or generally positive things to everyone from taxes.

You mention that first, not Kritischer_Realist.
In any case, it is wrong to sell the bear´s skin before skinning it.

          • Brian Miller

Um, I would really, really love for you to find my exact quote where I said exactly that I supported genocide, other than misquoting me which is exactly what you and Realist are doing.

The article at the link in one of the questions above states the following.

“Because federal judges—including Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor—have refused to grant an injunction protecting the owners of Hobby Lobby from being forced to act against their Christian faith, those owners will be subject to federal fines of up to $1.3 million per day starting Tuesday for refusing to include abortion-inducing drugs in their employee health plan.”

This is absolutely outrageous! This administration is completely out of control. These business owners are now faced with having their livelihood destroyed. I am full of righteous anger as I write this. My only consolation is that the Lord sees this injustice, as well as all the injustices in this world, and that vengeance belongs to him. I look forward to His coming kingdom where there will be peace and righteousness.

  • Piglet

[Why does the Obama administration seem so determined to reduce the size of the U.S. strategic nuclear arsenal?] Someone may have informed him they’re not the wonder weapons everyone once thought they were: See:

    http://www.csmonitor.com/Commentary/Opinion/2012/0327/For-nuclear-security-beyond-Seoul-eradicate-land-based-doomsday-missiles

Excerpt: “America’s 450 launch-ready land-based nuclear-armed ballistic missiles are the opposite of a deterrent to attack. In fact, their very deployment has the potential to launch World War III and precipitate human extinction – as a result of a false alarm. We’re not exaggerating.”

“Here is the really compelling part of the story: If all 450 US
land-based Minuteman III missiles with thermonuclear warheads were ever launched at Russia – with many of the targets in or near cities, as now planned – most Americans would die as a result, along with most of humanity. Our own weapons would contribute as much or more to these deaths in America and the rest of the globe as any Russian warheads launched.

This is because smoke from the enormous nuclear firestorms created by even a “successful” US nuclear first-strike would cause catastrophic disruption of global climate and massive destruction of the Earth’s protective ozone layer, leading to global famine.”

No one needs to toss any nukes in our direction to beat us and ensure self-destruction. All any enemy need to is to continue to let us spend ourselves into oblivion. No war is necessary because we’re destroying our own country, being so hopelessly addicted to borrowed money and debt that can never be paid off. Looking at it from the perspective of a hostile foreign country, wouldn’t you wish your enemy to have such grave problems? So much in debt, so many dependent upon the government for survival, such a continuing loss of jobs, of companies, of entire industries? War, especially nuclear war, is so old-fashioned. The best way to destroy one’s enemy now is by letting him destroy himself with debt and hollowing out his own economy. Like a tree infested with wood boring beetles, collapse of the USA is inevitable.

Besides, the actions of our government indicate that they see the true enemy as the American people. See:

    http://lewrockwell.com/orig11/wolf-n8.1.1.html

    Excerpt: “People often
ask me, in terms of my argument about “ten steps” that mark the
descent to a police state or closed society, at what stage we are.
I am sorry to say that with the importation of what will be tens
    of thousands of drones,
    by both US
military and by commercial interests, into US airspace, with
a specific mandate to engage in surveillance
and with the capacity for weaponization – which is due to begin
in earnest at the start of the new year – it means that the police
    state is now officially here.”

    The truth about Americans.

  • Drew

I understand questioning why these things are happening, without Jesus Christ in your life we have many questions. And I know it has been said many times to repent, but I say this out of sincere pain and love for everyone; I urge you all to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and your Savior. He gives you the free gift of salvation out of grace regardless of what you have done (not by works so that none can boast)

I would like to quote a friend: “Go by Scripture, not popular belief. Work it out between you and God.”

If you have a lake of faith or belief, pray to Him to give these to you.

-and @Taysha Coughlin, there are many prophesies fulfilled, not just something that can be done by human hands. Even 2,000 years ago it was urgent to accept Him, the end times may end on a single date, but there are many people who will pass away before then. All of these people whether we die now or the end come upon us need Him. I pray that all who read this will read this with an open heart and mind that may accept Him. He is knocking at the door of your heart so please let him in.

  • Robert (qslv)

Also, miracles never save people. Miracles were performed by Jesus and the Jews that witnessed refused to accept Him. The prophesies can be viewed as miracles. Also, He told us these things would happen and they are, even if people think they are trying to delude us by purposefully making them come true, or try to delude us by saying they are doing this purposefully against us. The point is that it IS happening by their will or not.

Why am I unmoved by deception and confusion? I admit just a few months ago a comment like taysha’s would have given me alot of trouble. But I have accepted Him into my heart and life, and I have changed alot! I am delighted that He,being in me, is unshakable amidst my weakness.

If you don’t trust me in anything, Brian, trust me in this: I’ve had my full share of contacts to leftists, today I can smell them.

          • Brian Miller

Yeah, I’m sure you do. I’m not one of them. We may share some beliefs and concerns (as with the right,) but that’s about it.

            :D

          • Kritischer_Realist

The leftists of today call themselves centrists.

          • Brian Miller

Fine, whatever floats your boat dude…

    • liberranter

Why did we elect the first non-white who has no proven credentials and many false ones as president?

“We” didn’t elect anybody. The Reigning Corporatocracy that is the real power in this country installed the current Sock Puppet-in-Chief because he fit their agenda. “We [The People]” haven’t elected anyone to the presidency in decades, if ever.

British people are worse. NLP is rife and the population regulate each other via language. When you see people using the words “fear”, “insane”, “concern” far too often and said towards random people, its because here in the UK Brits have been indoctrinated to use these words to control each other.

    • liberranter

Yes, I realize how much worse things are on the eastern side of the Big Pond. More frightening is that Britain is generally a bellwether for what happens over here.

    • TheKnowerseeker

I’ve met exactly one British person in my life, and she was the most evil young woman I ever met.

I would love to know why the sinkholes aren’t getting national attention as well. I have one 7 miles from my home in Bayou Corne, LA that has grown to 10 acres since August with no sign of stopping. People have been evacuated from their homes and the main highway is danger of being shut down. Research it people! They can not tell us the cause, how convenient!

    • Jajajalol

WOW!! :=O !! Thankx Lindsey for bringing this mysterious “sinkhole” phenomenon to everyone’s attention!! I cannot believe this is not on every MSM News Channel with people on the ground reporting on it!! (Well, yes, I can understand the st00pid MSM not reporting enough coverage on this anomoly).

“As we enter 2013, the American people are greedy, selfish, boastful,
proud, arrogant, disrespectful, ungrateful, materialistic, unforgiving,
without self-control and they are completely and totally addicted to
    entertainment. ”

And what makes 2013 so special? So we haven’t had this type of debauchery last year? 2011? 2010? sounds like you’re trying to grasp at straws.

  • Mondobeyondo

Why are these things happening to what was once the greatest country in the history of the world? The answer should be pretty obvious.

  • Mondobeyondo

If we would return to the wisdom of the Constitution, and the wisdom of the Bible, many of our problems in this nation would be solved overnight. In the early days of this country, our citizens did read and follow that document, and that book. God rewarded this nation with His blessings – fertile soil, rivers, bountiful crops, freedom, etc. There was social order. Many people had guns, but there were no mass shootings.

Sadly, both documents are now being ignored. The Bible went first – it was long ago kicked out of our public schools and much of government (the Senate still opens their sessions with a prayer…I think.). The Constitution is hanging on by a thread. If we lose the Constitution, we essentially will lose America.

The Bible (especially the Ten Commandments – they are not the Ten Suggestions or the Ten Recommendations!!) – is God’s law as to how He wants His people to live. The Constitution is America’s law, written by the Founding Fathers as to how they wanted us to live, the government we are supposed to have, and the liberty and freedoms we are supposed to enjoy, not only for their generation, but for their posterity as well. For the first time, a country where a king or dictator didn’t rule over everyone, but a president and government that gets chosen freely by the citizens – and if we don’t like him (or her), we can elect someone else in 4 years. That was a novel concept in the 1770’s. England didn’t like it one bit, and we fought a little war about it called the American Revolution.
    ———————————————–
We’ve already lost one; we’re about to lose the other if we’re not careful. And THAT is why this country is falling apart. Do our politicians care? Nah. Their philosophy is, “If it ain’t broke, fix it until it breaks”.

    • Mondobeyondo

Oh, by the way, France liked our idea so much, they decided to have their own revolution in 1789. Marie Antoinette lost her head (literally). They did have their own dictator a few years later called Napoleon, but eventually they got around to having a democratic government.

It’s interesting how mass shootings such as Sandy Hook have served to further Obama’s agenda of gun control, and the taking away of our Second Amendment rights.
