Yes, America Is On The Verge Of Yet Another Toilet Paper Crisis

It is starting to happen again.  Do you remember how “panic buying” caused a massive shortage of toilet paper and other basic essentials during the early days of the COVID pandemic last year?  Well, shortages are back, but this time around different factors are at play.  We are being told that the shortages should just be temporary, and that is good news.  But this is yet another example that shows how exceedingly vulnerable global supply chains have become in this day and age.  If another major global crisis were to suddenly strike, we could quickly be facing long-term shortages of certain items that would be quite severe.  So hopefully this short-term toilet paper shortage will be a wake up call for all of us.  The following comes from Yahoo News(Read More...)

How Many “2 Minute Warnings” Do Americans Need?

After everything that has taken place over the past year, there shouldn’t be a need to sound the alarm any longer, because everyone should be awake by now.  But of course that is not the case.  At this moment, the vast majority of the population is still dead asleep.  This greatly frustrates me, because there has been warning after warning, but most people choose not to listen.  Since I am a sports fan, I like to use sports analogies, and to me it certainly appears that we have been given a series of “2 minute warnings” over the past 12 months.  Humanity is steamrolling toward disaster, and time is running out.  Unfortunately, to a very large extent the warnings are not being taken seriously. Three things Americans are doing to prepare for election chaos, another coronavirus spike and deepening economic problems

Do you remember how crazy things got when the COVID-19 pandemic first hit the United States and widespread hoarding caused serious shortages of certain goods all over the United States?  Well, it is starting to happen again.  As we approach the end of 2020, a “perfect storm” of circumstances is causing the anxiety level of many Americans to go through the roof, and millions are preparing for the worst.  I have been hearing from so many people that are deeply concerned about what the outcome of this presidential election could mean for our nation, and a lot of them truly believe that we will witness tremendous civil unrest.  But as an article in the Washington Post recently noted, that isn’t the only thing we are potentially facing… (Read More...)

Why are so many Americans suddenly relocating, buying guns and storing up huge quantities of food?

In 2020, we have been watching hundreds of thousands of Americans relocate, gun sales have shattered all previous levels, and people are purchasing and storing huge stockpiles of food.  We have seen the American people get deeply concerned about the future before, but we have never seen anything quite like this.  It is definitely a major life decision to pack up everything you own and move to another part of the country, but that is precisely what countless Americans have been doing in recent months.  WABC wanted to know precisely how many people have been doing this in New York City, and the information that they were able to get from the United States Postal Service really surprised them(Read More...)

Why Every Person In America Needs To Become A Prepper During The Second Half Of 2020

It has been on my heart to write this article for a few days, but I knew that it wouldn’t be easy to write.  2020 has already been one of the worst years in modern U.S. history, and it looks like the next six months are going to be extremely challenging as well.  But even though most Americans are expecting that things will return to “normal” in 2021 and beyond, the truth is that the “perfect storm” that we are witnessing is only in the very early stages.  All of the old cycles are ending, all of the bubbles are bursting, and we are starting to experience the consequences of decades of incredibly foolish decisions.  So even though the remaining months of 2020 will be chaotic, the truth is that things are going to get progressively worse as the years move along.  That means that you should use this period of time to prepare for what is ahead of us, because at some point the window of opportunity to prepare will be closed for good. You May Not Understand This Now, But You Need To Get Prepared For The Food Shortages That Are Coming

I was going to write about something completely different today, but I felt that I needed to issue this warning instead.  Even before COVID-19 came along, crazy global weather patterns were playing havoc with harvests all over the globe, the African Swine Fever plague had already killed about one-fourth of all the pigs in the world, and giant armies of locusts the size of major cities were devouring crops at a staggering rate on the other side of the planet.  And now this coronavirus pandemic has caused an unprecedented worldwide economic shutdown, and this has put an enormous amount of stress on global food supplies. Supplies Are Starting To Get Really Tight Nationwide As Food Distribution Systems Break Down

All across America, store shelves are emptying and people are becoming increasingly frustrated because they can’t get their hands on needed supplies.  Most Americans are blaming “hoarders” for the current mess, but it is actually much more complicated than that.  Normally, Americans get a lot of their food from restaurants.  In fact, during normal times 36 percent of all Americans eat at a fast food restaurant on any given day.  But now that approximately 75 percent of the U.S. is under some sort of a “shelter-in-place” order and most of our restaurants have shut down, things have completely changed.  Suddenly our grocery stores are being flooded with unexpected traffic, and many people are buying far more than usual in anticipation of a long pandemic.  Unfortunately, our food distribution systems were not designed to handle this sort of a surge, and things are really starting to get crazy out there.
