Is it just a coincidence that many of the greatest cities in America became poverty-infested hellholes once the Democrats took charge of things?  Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Oakland and Memphis were all once great cities.  But after an extended period of control by the Democratic Party, each one of them has become a festering crisis that never seems to end.  I thought that I was going to do an article about Baltimore today, but it occurred to me that the exact same things that are happening in Baltimore are also happening in a multitude of other major cities, and the common theme among all of them is that the Democrats are in control.  But even though this is the case, voters in those cities just keep choosing Democrats election after election anyway. It Is Now Being Projected That Florence Will Be The Most Expensive Hurricane To Ever Hit The United States

We all knew that Hurricane Florence was going to be bad, but now it is being projected that it will cause more economic damage than any other storm in all of U.S. history.  As you will see below, one firm is estimating that the total damage from Florence could cost “more than $170 billion”, and that would put it into first place by a substantial margin.  At this point, meteorologists are telling us that Florence may only be a Category 2 or a Category 3 storm by the time it makes landfall, but we need to remember that Hurricane Katrina was just a Category 3 storm when it hit New Orleans.  But what made Katrina so damaging was the fact that it was so large, and Florence is getting bigger in size with each passing day.  In addition, forecasters are also now telling us that Florence is expected to “stall” just off the east coast and could potentially linger there “for days”… (Read More...)

If young adults are America’s future, then they better get their act together. Today, over 30 percent of 18 to 34-year-olds live with their parents or other family members. Meanwhile, marriage rates and fertility rates in the United States have both hit record lows in recent years. Instead of coddling these self-absorbed Millennial narcissists well into their adult years, we need to be kicking them out of the nest and encouraging them to learn to fend for themselves. The rich have been getting richer and the poor have been getting poorer for so long in America that it seems like it has always been this way. But it hasn’t. And when I was growing up in the 1980s, it seemed like everyone was middle class, but now those days are long gone.
