Could Mt. Hood Be The First Volcano To Erupt On The West Coast?

It is just a matter of time before one of the big volcanoes on the west coast erupts again.  For years, I have been warning about Mt. Rainier, and I will continue to sound the alarm about it.  When it finally goes, the death and destruction it causes could be off the charts.  Of course there are other volcanoes along the west coast that we need to be watching as well.  Although it doesn’t receive as much attention as Mt. Rainier, some experts are becoming concerned that Mt. Hood could soon erupt.  On Monday, dozens of earthquakes shook the volcano for 45 minutes, and the USGS is trying to calm the frayed nerves of nearby residents… (Read More...)

If You Believe Life Will “Return To Normal”, You Have A Fundamental Misunderstanding Of The Times In Which We Live

Despite all of the craziness that is going on out there, many pundits are trying to convince us that life will soon “return to normal” and that great days are just around the corner.  They are telling us this despite the fact that the state of Texas has been in a state of collapse this week, the real economy continues to implode, the unemployment numbers are going up, civil unrest continues to rage in our streets on a nightly basis, and our entire planet continues to become even more unstable.  Those that believe that happy days are here again have a fundamental misunderstanding of the times in which we live.  This isn’t a period of time when America is going to “build back better”.  Rather, this is a time when America is going to go even deeper into “the perfect storm”. Why Are Volcanoes All Along The “Ring Of Fire” Suddenly Starting To Pop Off Like Firecrackers?

While most of us are preoccupied with other matters, the “Ring of Fire” is starting to shake quite dramatically.  Within the past couple of days, we have seen numerous volcanoes along the “Ring of Fire” shoot hot volcanic ash thousands of feet into the air.  That list of volcanoes includes Popocatepetl in MexicoSangay in EcuadorKlyuchevskaya on the Kamchatka Peninsula, Sabancaya in Peru, Raung in Indonesia, Reventador in Ecuador, and Fuego in Guatemala.  Overall, 28 volcanoes around the globe are currently erupting right now, and most of those are located somewhere along the “Ring of Fire”. Yet another warning that makes it clear that we should all be bracing for a major seismic event along the west coast

While most Americans remain completely fixated on the upcoming presidential election, large earthquakes continue to rattle the Ring of Fire at an alarming rate.  On Monday, a magnitude 7.5 quake struck near the little town of Sand Point, Alaska, and it was felt over a very large area.  In fact, it is being reported that shaking could be felt “as far away as Chugiak, Anchorage and Bethel”.  Following the initial earthquake, there was a series of very large aftershocks.  As I write this article, there have already been 19 aftershocks of at least magnitude 4.0 in the region.  By the time most of you read this article, that number will almost certainly be higher.  Sadly, even though we have been witnessing a lot of shaking along the southern coast of Alaska and the west coast of the continental United States in recent months, very few experts seem concerned about the possibility that a very large seismic event could be coming. Why Are So Many Asteroids Having Close Calls With Earth In 2020?

Have you noticed that it seems like stories about asteroids that are approaching the Earth are constantly in the news this year?  It wasn’t always this way.  In the old days, maybe there would be a story about an asteroid every once in a while, and those stories were never a big deal.  But now asteroids are zipping by our planet with frightening regularity, and several more very notable passes will happen over the next few weeks.  For example, an asteroid that was just discovered on September 18th will come very, very close to the Earth on Thursday.  According to NASA, it will actually come closer to our planet than many of our weather satellites(Read More...)

Will Sally Become The First Hurricane To Hit New Orleans In The Month Of September Since Hurricane Katrina?

After everything else we have been through in 2020, now here comes Hurricane Sally.  It is the seventh hurricane of the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season, and it could end up being the most destructive.  On Monday it strengthened into a Category 2 hurricane with 100 mph winds, and we are being told that it could potentially become a Category 3 storm before it finally makes landfall.  But the wind speed is not what makes this storm potentially so dangerous.  Hurricane Sally is expected to slow down significantly as it approaches the Gulf Coast, and we are now being told that some areas could see up to two feet of rain.  That could mean “life-threatening flooding”, especially if this storm directly hits New Orleans. 11 Facts That Prove That The Apocalyptic Wildfires On The West Coast Are Unlike Anything We Have Ever Seen Before

At this hour, a thick blanket of smoke from the horrific wildfires in California, Oregon and Washington is covering much of the western portion of the country.  U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley of Oregon has used the word “apocalyptic” to describe the utter devastation that has been caused by these fires, and that is not an exaggeration whatsoever.  There are some small towns that have literally been wiped off the face of the map during the past week, and some of them may never be rebuilt.  This has already been a wildfire season like no other along the west coast, and we are just now entering the heart of the 2020 fire season.  It is very difficult to imagine another couple months of this, but that is potentially what we are facing. Seattle To Be Hit By A Giant Tsunami 2 Hours And 20 Minutes After “The Big One” Strikes The Cascadia Subduction Zone

A giant tsunami along the west coast has been very heavy on my heart for the last 24 hours, and then when I saw a new Fox News article about a simulation that was just run by officials in Washington state I knew that I had to write an article.  Experts at the Washington Department of Natural Resources decided to simulate what would happen if a magnitude 9.0 earthquake struck along the Cascadia Subduction Zone, and what they discovered is really, really bad.  Such a seismic event would produce an absolutely massive tsunami, and the Fox News article says that waves “could reach Seattle in 2 hours and 20 minutes after an earthquake”.  And this is not just a hypothetical scenario that may or may not happen.  Scientists have repeatedly warned us that it is just a matter of time before such a disaster takes place, Steve Quayle has been relentlessly warning about this as well, and I have been encouraging people to move away from the region for years.
