Concern Grows That A Megaquake Is Going To Hit The Middle Of The United States

USGS Earthquake MapDid you know that Oklahoma was just hit by the largest earthquake ever recorded in the history of the state? And did you know that Oklahoma absolutely shattered their yearly record for earthquakes in 2015 and may break it again this year? According to the USGS, the number of significant earthquakes in the eastern and central sections of the nation has more than quintupled in recent years, and concern is growing that we could soon see a “megaquake” in the middle part of the country. Of course no discussion of megaquakes in the middle part of the country can leave out the New Madrid fault zone, which is approximately six times larger than the San Andreas fault zone in California. Scientists assure us that the New Madrid fault is around 30 years overdue for a major seismic event, and when it does happen it is going to be the biggest disaster in modern American history up to this point. This Has Been The Worst 12 Months For Floods In U.S. History

Louisiana Flood - Public DomainSince last October, the United States has been hit by “historic flood” after “historic flood”, and this latest flooding down in Louisiana that is making headlines all over the world has been caused by a “500 year storm“. Even before some areas of the state received more than 30 inches of rain, this was already the worst 12 months for floods in U.S. history, but without a doubt this has put an exclamation mark on this exceedingly unusual stretch of flooding. There are some rivers down in Louisiana that have crested three to four feet higher than their previous all-time records, and Governor Edwards is using the words “unprecedented” and “historic” to describe these floods. So far, 20,000 people have been rescued by authorities, and Governor Edwards even had to evacuate the Governor’s Mansion due to chest-high water in the basement. (Read More...)

Major Volcanoes Along The Ring Of Fire Are Going Off Like Firecrackers

Ring Of Fire - WikipediaSo far this week, we have seen the most dangerous volcano in Mexico erupt, and three major volcanoes in Indonesia all erupted within the space of just 72 hours.  Mexico and Indonesia are both considered to be part of “the Ring of Fire”, and all along the perimeter of the Pacific Ocean volcanoes are starting to go off like firecrackers right now.  According to Volcano Discovery, 25 volcanoes in areas that are considered to be within the Ring of Fire have erupted recently.  Our planet appears to have entered a time of increased seismic activity, and those the follow my work regularly know that this is a theme that I revisit repeatedly.  Sadly, most Americans are not paying too much attention to this increase in seismic activity, but the truth is that it has very serious implications for the west coast of the United States. Last 10 Months Have Been The Worst Period For Floods AND The Worst Period For Fires In U.S. History

Wildfires 2016 - Public DomainAs you read this article, the state of California is being ravaged by gigantic wildfires that are raging wildly out of control, and West Virginia is dealing with a “500 year flood”.  Since last September, the U.S. has been hit by a series of 11 historic floods.  Never before in American history have we seen so many major floods within such a compressed space of time.  And just as the Shemitah year ended last September, massive wildfires began erupting all over the country.  Thanks to that unprecedented outbreak of large fires, 2015 ended up being the worst year for wildfires in all of U.S. history.  And since 2016 began, things have continued to get worse.  As far as the total number of acres burned is concerned, we are more than a million acres ahead of the pace that was set last year.  So why in the world is all of this happening? Have U.S. Weather Patterns Changed Permanently? This Week Record High Temps Scorch The Southwest

120 Degrees - Public DomainThis week we are going to see “life threatening” heat all across the southwest United States.  In southern California, temperatures will top triple digits in many areas on Monday, and the forecast is for the mercury to reach an astounding 121 degrees in Palm Springs.  Further inland, it is being projected that Phoenix and Las Vegas could both experience their highest temperatures ever early this week.  Summer is just beginning and we are literally seeing things take place that we have never seen happen before.  Just a few weeks ago, I wrote an article about how the weather seems to be going crazy all over America.  Is this just a temporary phenomenon or have weather patterns in the United States changed permanently? Meanwhile, California Fault Lines And The Area Around Yellowstone Are Shaking Like Crazy

Latest Earthquakes - USGSOver the past few days the mainstream media has been fixated on the largest mass shooting in U.S. history, but meanwhile there has been highly unusual seismic activity along major fault lines in California and near the Yellowstone supervolcano.  Let’s talk about Yellowstone first.  In recent months, the big geysers have been behaving very strangely and this is something that my wife and I covered on our television show.  And now, just over the past week there have been three very significant earthquakes in the region.  On June 9th, there was a magnitude 3.7 earthquake, on June 13th there was a magnitude 4.3 earthquake and earlier today there was a magnitude 4.0 earthquake.  Yes, the area around Yellowstone is hit by earthquakes all the time, but most of them are extremely small.  For earthquakes of this size to be striking right around Yellowstone is highly unusual and more than just a little bit alarming. June 7: FEMA Will Hold A Drill To Prepare For A 9.0 Cascadia Subduction Zone Earthquake And Tsunami

Cascadia Subduction Zone - FEMAStarting on June 7th, FEMA will be conducting a large scale drill that has been named “Cascadia Rising” that will simulate the effects of a magnitude 9.0 earthquake along the Cascadia Subduction Zone and an accompanying west coast tsunami dozens of feet tall. According to the official flyer for the event, more than “50 counties, plus major cities, tribal nations, state and federal agencies, private sector businesses, and non-governmental organizations across three states – Washington, Oregon, and Idaho – will be participating”.  In addition to “Cascadia Rising”, U.S. Northern Command will be holding five other exercises simultaneously.  According to the final draft of the Cascadia Rising drill plan, those five exercises are entitled “Ardent Sentry 2016”, “Vigilant Guard”, “Special Focus Exercise”, “Turbo Challenge” and “Joint Logistics Over-The-Shore”.  The primary scenario that of all of these participants will be focusing on will be one that involves a magnitude 9.0 earthquake along the Cascadia Subduction Zone followed by a giant tsunami that could displace up to a million people from northern California to southern Canada. Major Eruption Imminent? Earthquake Swarms Reported At Mt. Hood, Mt. Rainier And Mt. St. Helens

Volcano Erupting Full Moon - Public DomainIs an eruption of one or more of the major volcanoes in the northwest United States imminent?  In recent days, very large earthquake swarms have been reported at Mt. Hood, Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens.  It is certainly not unusual for each of these volcanoes to experience earthquake swarms from time to time, but right now we are seeing this happen at all three volcanoes simultaneously, and this comes at a time when seismic activity along the Ring of Fire is on the rise all over the planet.  If you have followed my work for a while, then you probably already know that I have been consistently warning that an eruption of Mt. Rainier is coming, and of course Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens are exceedingly dangerous volcanoes as well.  If any one of the three were to erupt on a massive scale, it would instantly become the biggest news story of the year. (Read More...)
