Passover is nearly upon us, and most people around the globe understand that this time of the year has deep significance for both Christians and Jews.  But this year I will be on particularly high alert throughout Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread and all the way to Pentecost.  All throughout the Bible, big events often happened during God’s appointed times, and I believe that will also be true during this period of history.  Of course I am not saying that any particular event will happen on any particular day, but what I am saying is that as we get deeper into the end times we should be watchful during the special days that God has specifically designated on His calendar. Have you noticed that people are having emotional meltdowns all over the place these days?  As a nation, we have become extremely high-strung and we are so easily offended.  And for many of us, even the slightest thing can trigger an emotional frenzy that can last for days or even weeks.  Obviously, the overall mental health of our nation is not in a good place right now.  People are stressed out about inflation, people are stressed out about the widespread shortages that we have been witnessing, people are stressed out about the war in Ukraine, people are stressed out about politics, and people are stressed out about the COVID pandemic that seems as though it will never end.  In fact, one recent survey discovered that stress levels are at an all-time high for 63 percent of Americans, and the pandemic is being blamed for that… (Read More...)

There has been so much going on in the world lately, and that has sparked a tremendous amount of chatter about the “end times”.  What the Bible has to say about the days just before the return of Jesus Christ to this planet is being discussed all over the Internet, and millions upon millions of people are searching for answers regarding the crazy events that are happening all over the globe.  Of course the mainstream media would have us think that only those on the outer fringes of society believe that these are the “end times”, but a brand new survey that was just released suggests otherwise. Over the past week, a large number of prominent voices have been calling for NATO intervention in Ukraine.  Of course if NATO gets involved in the war, it is the U.S. military that is going to be doing the heavy lifting.  Unfortunately, as you will see below, the U.S. military is actually shrinking because recruiting has become extremely difficult.  So if we actually go into Ukraine, we are going to need a lot more people to volunteer.  Will the talking heads on television that are endlessly advocating for a war with Russia be willing to join up?  Of course not.  Many of our politicians are talking a good game, but needless to say they won’t be going to Ukraine and neither will their children.  The elite always count on someone else to fight their wars for them, but these days it is becoming increasingly challenging to find enough people that are willing to do that. Where in the world did the anti-war movement go?  After the U.S. invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, an extremely vigorous anti-war movement relentlessly protested those wars, and that movement was often greatly aided by voices in the corporate media.  In particular, MSNBC was a persistent thorn in the side of the Bush administration, because day after day it would feature voices that were passionately against the wars.  But now everything has changed.  These days, MSNBC is beating the war drums more loudly than anyone else.  I realize that this doesn’t seem to make any sense, but it is true.
