Global Drought - Public DomainHave you noticed that severe drought seems to be gripping much of the planet right now?  You probably have.  But why is this happening?  Could it be possible that we are doing this to ourselves?  Many want to try to link the rise and fall of precipitation levels to temperature variations, but there is something much more obvious that they are overlooking.  Trees play an absolutely critical role in our water cycle, and every single minute the amount of land that is deforested around the globe is equivalent to 36 football fields.  By extracting water from the soil and releasing it into the atmosphere, trees provide a critical link in the hydrologic cycle that we all depend upon.  If there were no more trees, life on this planet would become exceedingly difficult for humanity.  So the fact that we are literally ripping the lungs out of the planet is a very big deal. In Iraq, ISIS Is Winning And The United States Is Losing

ISIS Takes RamadiDuring the Iraq war more than 4,000 U.S. soldiers died, countless others were severely injured, and the total cost to U.S. taxpayers was more than 2 trillion dollars.  But now whatever the U.S. military accomplished during that war is being completely undone by ISIS.  On Monday, we learned that ISIS had fully taken control of the strategically important city of Ramadi.  Despite nine months of airstrikes by the U.S. military, ISIS continues to move forward and take new territory.  Just a few years ago, American soldiers fought some incredibly bloody battles on the streets of Ramadi, but now that city is in the hands of the most ruthless terror organization on the entire planet.  And since it is only about 70 miles from Baghdad, Ramadi is going to make a fine staging area for an all-out assault on the capital.  No matter how you cut it, the cold, hard reality of the matter is that the United States is losing in Iraq and ISIS is winning.  So what will the U.S. do if ISIS actually takes control of the entire country? 79 Members Of Congress Have Been In Office For At Least 20 Years

US Capitol Building - Public DomainNo wonder Washington never changes – 79 members of Congress have been there since Bill Clinton’s first term in the White House.  This list includes names such as Reid, Feinstein, McConnell, McCain, Pelosi, Boehner, Rangel and Boxer.  In this article, I am going to share with you a complete list of the members of Congress that have been “serving” us for at least 20 years.  They believe that they are “serving” us well, but without a doubt most Americans very much wish that true “change” would come to Washington.  In fact, right now Congress has a 15 percent approval rating with the American people, and that approval rating has been consistently below 20 percent since mid-2011.  So of course we took advantage of the 2014 mid-term election to dump as many of those Congress critters out of office as we possibly could, right?  Wrong.  Sadly, incumbents were re-elected at a 95 percent rate in 2014.  This just shows how broken and how corrupt our system has become.  The American people absolutely hate the job that Congress is doing, and yet the same clowns just keep getting sent back to Washington again and again. Countries That Officially Recognize A Palestinian State - Photo by Night wWill a UN Security Council resolution formally recognizing the establishment of a Palestinian state be passed by the end of 2015?  Now that the Vatican has formally recognized a Palestinian state, there is a tremendous amount of international momentum for precisely such a UN Security Council resolution.  In fact, France plans to push really hard for one by the end of this year.  At this point, the only thing that could derail those plans is Barack Obama.  For years, the threat of a Security Council veto has been the one thing stopping a resolution from moving forward.  But now that Benjamin Netanyahu has been re-elected and has put together a cabinet that does not seem inclined to negotiate with the Palestinians, the Obama administration is pledging to “reevaluate our approach” and says that it will not “prejudge” what it will do if a vote comes up at the United Nations.  And as you will see below, one news source is now reporting that behind the scenes Barack Obama has already given the “green light” for France to go ahead with a resolution on a Palestinian state at the UN.  If this is truly what Obama plans to do, it will absolutely shatter U.S. relations with Israel and plunge the entire Middle East into chaos. The Bin Laden Raid Was A Work Of Fiction, And Barack Obama Should Immediately Resign

Bin Laden Raid - Public DomainPulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has uncovered one of the biggest lies in modern American history.  It turns out that much of what the American public was told about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden was a blatant lie.  According to Hersh, Osama bin Laden had been captured by Pakistan all the way back in 2006, and he was being held by the ISI as a prisoner at the Abbottabad compound that the Seals ultimately raided in 2011.  In addition, Hersh says that the ISI and Pakistan’s military knew about the Seal raid in advance.  Arrangements were made so that the Black Hawk helicopters could travel through Pakistani airspace safely, and the ISI guards at Osama bin Laden’s compound were pulled away before the Seals got there.  And by that time, Osama bin Laden was reportedly in such bad health that he was essentially a cripple.  There was no “firefight” at all – only a turkey shoot.  Afterwards, Osama bin Laden’s body never made it to the USS Carl Vinson for a “burial at sea”.  That was all just part of the cover story according to Hersh.  Of course the White House and Obama’s lackeys at CNN are strongly denying all of this, and they will continue to deny the truth for as long as they possibly can.  But there are individuals in the U.S. military and in the U.S. intelligence community that can come forward and tell us what really happened.  Let us hope that at least some of those individuals still care enough about this country to do that. The Kentucky 10 - The NauglersIf the government does not like the way that you are raising your kids, they will come in and grab them at any time without giving any warning whatsoever.  Of course this is completely and totally unlawful, but it has been happening all over America.  The most recent example of this that has made national headlines is particularly egregious.  Joe and Nicole Naugler of Breckinridge County, Kentucky just had their 10 children brutally ripped away from them just because the government does not approve of how they are living their lives and how they are educating their young ones.  Let’s be very clear about this – Joe and Nicole had done nothing to violate the law whatsoever.  All of their kids were happy, healthy and very intelligent.  But because the control freaks running things in Kentucky got wind of their “off the grid lifestyle”, they have now had all of their children unlawfully abducted from them.
