1 Billion Animals Dead: Under A “Blazing Red Sky” In Australia, Apocalyptic Wildfires Are Killing Koalas, Kangaroos And Countless Other Creatures

An entire continent is being transformed into “a charred, apocalyptic nightmare”, and experts are telling us that a billion animals may have already died so far in the horrific wildfires that are raging all across Australia.  Extremely strong winds and record high temperatures are going to create ideal conditions for the fires to spread even more this week, but officials will do all that they can to try to get them under control.  At this point, 146 fires are burning all over the country.  With temperatures in some communities reaching 120 degrees Fahrenheit, and with winds expected to hit 80 mph or higher in some areas this week, things appear certain to get even worse before they start to get better.  The total number of acres burned already represents an area larger than the entire nation of Switzerland, and this crisis is far from over. California Faces 72 Hours Of Hell As “Devil Winds” Turn The Current Wildfires Into Unstoppable Infernos

An “extreme wind event” will relentlessly pummel the state of California on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and it will be a challenge unlike anything firefighters in the state have ever faced before.  Right now there are 17 wildfires currently burning in the state, but that number is expected to rise significantly over the next 72 hours.  High winds can carry embers a great distance from the existing fires, and it only takes a single ember to start a new blaze.  Over the next three days, “devil winds” of up to 80 mph will create conditions that are absolutely ideal for the spread of wildfires, and this has caused authorities to issue “red flag warnings” for 43 different California counties.  To have this many counties under a “red flag warning” is extremely unusual, and Californians are bracing for 72 hours of hell as raging infernos burn all around them. Experts Brace For An Apocalyptic Future As Earth’s Forests Burn To The Ground

A world without forests would be an apocalyptic wasteland, and right now we are losing our forests at an astounding rate.  As you read this article, more than 10,000 wildfires are ripping through forested areas of South America and Africa, and global leaders seem powerless to do anything about it.  Most of the media attention has been on the horrific wildfires in the Amazon rainforest, and we are being told that the number of fires in Brazil is up 85 percent compared to last year.  But the number of fires is actually much higher in Africa.  In fact, it is being reported that there are “approximately five times as many wildfires burning in Africa than in the Amazon” at this point.  Our planet is literally being destroyed right in front of our eyes, and a lot of people don’t seem to care. The “Lungs Of The Earth” Are Literally Being Burned Away As Unprecedented Wildfires Absolutely Ravage Our Planet

We have never seen anything quite like this.  This week the skies above Brazil’s largest city turned black in the middle of the afternoon due to the massive wildfires that are currently raging in that country.  But the wildfires aren’t actually happening anywhere near São Paulo.  In fact, the smoke that turned the skies black actually came from fires that were happening more than 1,000 miles away.  Can you imagine how powerful the fires have to be in order to do that?  And it isn’t just Brazil – right now horrific fires are scorching vast stretches of our planet from South America all the way up to the Arctic.  Some of the fires are producing so much smoke that you can actually see it from space.  And in the process, irreversible damage is being done to our ecosystems. Amazing Miracle: Christian Actor Kevin Sorbo Says That A Giant California Wildfire Stopped 3 Feet From His Home

This story is absolutely amazing.  Like so many others, actor Kevin Sorbo and his wife were forced to evacuate from their home during the recent California wildfires, and once they left they were not sure if they would ever see it again.  And sure enough, firefighters were not able to hold back the blaze and flames came racing through their neighborhood.  Homes all along the street were burned to the ground, including the house immediately next door, but Kevin Sorbo’s house was not touched.  In fact, they could see where the flames had literally come within three feet of the house, but then they mysteriously stopped(Read More...)

National Emergency: Extreme Heat And Drought Fuel Dozens Of Explosive Wildfires In The Western United States

Firefighters all over the western part of the country are talking about an unprecedented wildfire season, and we are only in early July.  It is going to get a lot hotter and a lot drier as we move deeper into the summer, and the wildfires are likely to get a whole lot worse.  At this moment, more than 600,000 acres of land are on fire in America.  From California to Colorado and from Alaska to Arizona, extremely violent wildfires are raging out of control as firefighters battle relentlessly to save homes and lives.  Rain is desperately needed, but right now much of the Southwest is experiencing a historic drought.  In fact, things have gotten so bad that some experts are already comparing this drought to the Dust Bowl conditions of the 1930s.  If very high temperatures and extreme drought persist, that is going to continue to create ideal conditions for more wildfires.
