 Did you know that illegal immigrants all over the United States are using a massive scam to receive tax refunds from the federal government that are often in excess of $10,000? It is estimated that 2 million illegal immigrants are filing fraudulent tax returns each year and that they are pulling in more than 4 billion dollars in tax refunds every year that they are not entitled to. They are doing this by abusing the additional child tax credit and the IRS knows all about it and yet they refuse to do anything to stop it. Illegal immigrants are filing tax returns that sometimes claim 10 or 12 nieces and nephews as dependents, and most of the time those nieces and nephews do not even live in the United States. So while you and I are being taxed into oblivion, many illegal immigrants are often pulling in tax refunds that are well into five figures. At a time when the federal government is absolutely drowning in debt, this is the type of fraud that desperately needs to be cracked down on, and yet the IRS refuses to take action. (Read More.....)
 Immigration is not a bad thing. In fact, the United States is a nation that is made up of immigrants. However, the truth is that rampant, unchecked illegal immigration is a really, really horrible thing and it is permanently destroying many areas of the southwest United States. The U.S. government has refused to control the U.S. border with Mexico for decades, and this has allowed millions of criminals, drug dealers and gang members to cross freely into the United States. Not only that, but our refusal to secure the border has allowed thousands (if not millions) of people that have very serious diseases into the country. After illegal immigrants arrive they either try to make a living legally (by directly competing with blue collar American workers and driving their wages down) or illegally by selling drugs or being involved in other kinds of criminal activity.  Many people wonder why so many of us are so hard on illegal immigration. Well, it is not because we are against migrant workers coming into the United States to help agricultural giants pick fruit. Certainly those workers should not be entering the country illegally - so if there is a real need for them a mechanism for bringing them in legally should be worked out. No, the reality is that securing our border is actually a national security issue. Federal agents and local law enforcement officials are now openly announcing that they are outgunned, outmanned and are increasingly being shot at by the Mexican drug cartels that are openly conducting military operations inside the United States. Things have actually gotten so bad that the U.S. government is warning U.S. citizens to permanently stay away from certain areas of Arizona. The truth is that so many of us are so worked up about illegal immigration not because we want to deny the "American Dream" to all of the people south of the border, but rather because we are actually witnessing a military invasion of our soil by some of the most ruthless and powerful drug cartels on earth. It is unconscionable for our politicians to stand by and do nothing to secure the border as foreigners continue to pour in and openly conduct military operations against the American people. Tens of millions of Americans enjoyed living the American Dream in a land filled with happy, healthy and prosperous people. But these days it seems as though there are new stories of tragedy and despair almost daily.  The state of Arizona is taking a ton of heat for the anti-illegal immigration law that they just passed. Barack Obama is outraged and is directing his administration to look for ways to challenge the law. The government of Mexico has issued a travel advisory for the entire state of Arizona. Latino groups are promising unprecedented turnouts for the upcoming May Day protest marches. There has even been graffiti popping up in Phoenix that is threatening to "burn this racist city" among other things. But you know what? The state of Arizona got it exactly right. This is not about stopping legal immigrants who want to come in the "front door" and pursue the American Dream legally. America will always need that kind of immigration. No, this is about stopping the never-ending wave of serial criminals, gang members, drug dealers and economic parasites that have been endlessly parading unchecked into Arizona. If the federal government was not going to act, then the state of Arizona had to. Now other nearby states are studying Arizona's new law and are considering implementing similar measures themselves.
