Shocking Red Flags! 25 Signs That Wickedness And Evil Are Rapidly Growing In America

Americans have typically viewed themselves as some of the most "good" and "moral" people on the face of the earth.  But is this actually still true today?  Or have things fundamentally changed?  The truth is that so many of us are so busy trying to make money and chasing after the American Dream that we don't even realize what is happening to our society.  The reality is that the United States is facing a moral crisis of unprecedented magnitude.  Wickedness and evil are rapidly growing in America, and as much as people don't want to hear it, no "political solution" is going to work unless the United States finds a way to stop this horrific moral decline as well.  A lot of people out there think that they have "an economic formula" or a "political philosophy" that will "fix" America, but every single one of them is wrong.  Nothing will "fix" America unless the moral and spiritual problems are addressed as well.  Unfortunately, each year things just seem to get even worse.  The following are 25 signs that wickedness and evil are out of control in America....

#25) Many people have moved to places like Montana in an effort to escape the evil that is sweeping across America.  But even Montana is rapidly changing.  One public school system in Montana is considering a comprehensive sex education plan that includes teaching first grade students that people can be sexually attracted to the same gender.  10 year old students would be taught about "various types" of sexual intercourse.

#24) In a sign of just how materialistic our society has become, one new poll found that 61% of all Americans between the ages of 44 and 75 say that running out money is their biggest fear.

#23) U.S. health officials recently announced that approximately 16 percent of all Americans between the ages of 14 and 49 are infected with genital herpes.  Keep in mind that herpes is just one of dozens of sexually-transmitted diseases that are out there.

#22) A bipartisan bill recently introduced in the U.S. Senate would require all U.S. airports to use the new full-body security scanners that can see the details of our naked bodies right through our clothing.

#21) Scientists at Columbia University are warning that the dose of radiation from the new full body security scanners going into airports all over the United States could be up to 20 times higher than originally estimated.  Yet authorities are going to force us to walk through them and get fried with massive doses of radiation anyway.

#20) It was recently reported that 115 girls at just one high school in Chicago either already have a baby or were currently pregnant.

#19) More than 70% of all males in the United States between the ages of 18 and 34 visit at least one pornographic website in a typical month.

#18) One California couple recently attempted to sell their six month old baby for $25 outside a Wal-mart.

#17) Some time ago, a Focus on the Family survey discovered that 47% percent of all American families said that pornography is a problem in their home.

#16) In a world where terrorism is perceived to be the greatest threat, the U.S. government is increasingly feeling the need to watch, track, trace and control virtually everything that we do.

#15) A 10 year old boy was recently named the grand marshal for a gay-pride parade in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

#14) It is estimated that 89 percent of all pornography is produced inside the United States.  About 11 percent is made in the rest of the world.

#13) During a recent television interview with Larry King, former first lady Laura Bush revealed to the world that she is actually very much in favor of legalized gay marriage and a woman's "right" to abortion.

#12) A 6-year-old girl was recently handcuffed and sent to a mental facility after throwing temper tantrums at her elementary school.  Back in the old days she would just be sent to the principal's office.

#11) Law enforcement officials estimate that approximately 600,000 Americans and 65,000 Canadians are trading dirty child pictures online.

#10) Students at a New Haven, Connecticut high school will not be graduating "in the year of our Lord" this year or in any future years, according to the superintendent of schools.  The school district has removed the traditional phrase from high school diplomas after someone complained.

#9) At the biennial General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church USA, delegates approved a measure that would allow the ordination of openly gay or lesbian clergy.

#8) One North Carolina pastor is demanding an apology from lawmakers in his state after he was dismissed from his chaplain duties for praying in Jesus’ name.

#7) Recently, the opening prayer at the opening session of the Virginia General Assembly was delivered by a radical imam.  Apparently there was no problem with him praying to the god of Islam.

#6) Two Christians were recently arrested for sharing the gospel and singing Christian hymns on a public sidewalk outside an Islamic mosque in Philadelphia.

#5) The U.S. government continues to waste money on truly bizarre research studies that have no apparent value.  In recent years the U.S. government has spent $2.6 million tax dollars to study the drinking habits of Chinese prostitutes and has spent $400,000 tax dollars to pay researchers to cruise six bars in Buenos Aires, Argentina to find out why gay men engage in risky sexual behavior when drunk.

#4) The FDA has announced that the offspring of cloned animals could be in our food supply right now and that there is nothing that they can do about it.  Yet the same FDA conducts military-style raids on Amish farmers for selling unauthorized organic milk.

#3) One Roman Catholic priest in Connecticut has been arrested and charged with stealing $1.3 million in church money over seven years to use for male escorts, expensive clothing and luxury hotels and restaurants.  Unfortunately, there are dozens upon dozens more examples of religious leaders throughout the United States betraying their congregations in similar ways.

#2) A while back, one survey found that 25 percent of American employees that have Internet access visit pornographic websites while they are at work.  What does it say about us when we can't even wait to get home to engage in such wickedness?

#1) Perhaps the most horrible wickedness that we have committed has been against the most helpless and the most innocent members of our society.  Since Roe v. Wade in 1973, more than 50 million babies have been slaughtered in abortion facilities across the United States.

So how can anyone still refer to the United States as a "good" nation when all of this is going on?

@One World- “I am actually a theology student and know a little about most religions”-

very little because you are failing miserably.

“But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell– and great was its fall.” Matthew 7:26-27.

This is why you can’t stand your ground.

Such a loving and tolerant spirit you have. “I just cant stop making fun of your very non cerebral motivated thoughts, you are just that pathetic to me…” I believe that shows your heart and says it all.

nob hill- Let me make it simple for you,Elise, One World…..

1.Pornography is a sin. God says it is and that you are not to look at it nor practice it.

    2. Homosexuality is a sin. God says it is and that you are not to sodomize. The practice is an abomination.

    3. Abortion is a sin. God says it is and that you are not to murder.

    4. Fornication and adultery are sins. God says it is and that you are not to do it.

This article plainly states these sins are destroying Americans and the American dream and I agree. I have addressed all your objections with your wrong because God says so and provided scripture to show this. Call me all the names you want but these are the facts whether you like them or not. You can debate all you want, the plain truth is, they are still all sins and are not to be practiced.

    @The iii(how arrogant)
Stop being so condesending(sp), who the hell are you?? The Bible (and it’s millions of versions) is a book–written by people. Everyone on this blog has a right to be here and share whatever they so choose–if you don’t like it -leave dude. We are entitled to our beliefs and our opinions. Your come across so full of fear and full of anxiety I can almost hear your heavy breathing–(gross quite actually)–why are you so paniced?–you got on here and actually thought what you had to say–as you keep on and on was actually going to be the only thing people would agree to? That everyone would agre with just you and you only??? Dude–light a candle and meditate.
@Elise(fellow soul) and One World –thank you so very much for the timing of your presence on here–you both and what this blog needed–I respect and honor you both–your truths speak volumes. God the Dogma and the creed oozing outta here is suffocating.
“Call me all the names you want but these are the facts whether you like them or not. You can debate all you want, the plain truth is, they are still all sins and are not to be practiced.

    - The III”–well there are alot of names bud, but why bother–how about this “my daddy can beat the shit outta your daddy–he probly did”—( and by the way we will all debate this all we want!!)

  • LGardner

@The III –gotta ask –your gay aren’t you?? It really is okay–get outta the closet.

  • One World

LGardiner, your message is very well said, this world has people from ALL walks of life with different cultures and not all of us live our lives from a book or what someone has told us. A lot of us have open minds and can understand a different point of you and accept it, the III the sooner you can live you life this way that better your life will get! You dont have to say it but its completely obvious to people out here that have no idea who you are but can still tell that you are a miserable person that has a great amount of sin to hide in his life, cos you condesending people thinking that you are better than them and you clearly do, you thinking that people should dance to your tun.. this all is a grave sin to, you just dont want to see it cos you are that self righteous person that thinks that just cos he knows verses from the oh so holy book he is so mighty and just. Well only in your head and your made up world.
I will not torment you any longer The III as I can vividly see and hear you suffering your defeat. What’s worse for YOU is that I am a girl yes… girl I be that is probably enough to tip you over the edge as in your world its probably unheard of for a girl to hold her own huh ??

Anyways, LGardiner much love and respec to you.

    One world, peace for all.

We’re getting some good dialogue going here. It is always good to have varying viewpoints and debate because we can all learn from each other and simply cheering like-minded people on can get boring.

A simple distinction between the God-haters/Bible twisters/sin justifiers and the true Christians who comment on this site is that some of us believe that God has the right to set the laws and standards and others don’t. I look at my relationship with God in a similar manner to how I look at other things in life. We all understand that in our job, sports teams, etc. there are rules that have been written by men at the direction of a higher authority and those rules must be followed. We know better than to read a (demonically inspired) book written by someone else that tells us how to interpret our employee manual, for example, and then conclude that several statements in the manual are not applicable. We know better than to flaunt violations of the manual in front of the owner and assume that the owner is going to ignore the violations and give us promotions and raises anyway. So why are so many people so stupid when it comes to the King of Kings?

Another thing the God-haters do that is so ridiculous is to pin a sin on people who point out sin. This is especially favored with the ultimate depravity of all depravities – homosexuality. Fools who hate God love to tell those of us who believe what God said about that perversion that we are perverts ourselves. Would these same fools call us murderers when we condemn murder, liars when we condemn lying, thieves when we condemn theft, rapists when we condemn rape, etc. That type of nonsense from the God-haters makes it clear that these individuals know they have no valid argument and are simply lashing out in desperation.

  • The III

@Lgardner- “Stop being so condesending(sp), who the hell are you??”

20″I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

“The Bible (and it’s millions of versions) is a book–written by people.”

    Not true!

The Holy Bible is compiled of writings that cover a span of about 1400 years and include some 40 writers. Within its pages are 66 books. The history of the Holy Bible is the history of God’s involvement with mankind.
The Old Testament remained in Hebrew until c.280-150 B.C. when it was translated into Greek at Alexandria, Egypt. This was known as the Septuagint. The next language change occurred when Jerome (c. 383-405 A.D) translated the Holy Bible into the Latin Vulgate.
The first English translation was completed by John Wycliffe and soon after, King James authorized the English version that has come to be known as the King James Version. This was in 1611. The 1611 King James Version is the Authorized Version. The New King James Version is a modern translation of the King James Authorized Version.
So we have the Old Testament Hebrew, than the Septuagint, the Latin Vulgate, The King James Authorized Version and then The New King James Version. Even if you add up all the other modern versions and count all 66 books in The Holy Bible, I would hardly say there are millions. Although, there are millions of the same Holy Bible printed annually and several billion in the world today.

“Everyone on this blog has a right to be here and share whatever they so choose–if you don’t like it -leave dude”

That is true, but we do not have to agree with you and we have every right to say so. When you call us names and say right is wrong and wrong is right, we have every right to disagree and rebuke you with God’s Holy Word.

    I’m not going anywhere.

    gay- Happy? Yes!

    gay- homosexual? No!

    - The III

22″And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

23And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?

24And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

25And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

26And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.” (Mark 3:22-26)

@LGardner- What? Name calling is not working so you think you can bully me.

You say “Your come across so full of fear and full of anxiety I can almost hear your heavy breathing–(gross quite actually)–why are you so paniced?–you got on here and actually thought what you had to say–as you keep on and on was actually going to be the only thing people would agree to? That everyone would agre with just you and you only??? Dude–light a candle and meditate.”

Have I ran off? Does it appear to you that I am in hiding? Do you see me bowing down to your demands and false doctrines?

No sir! I came here because I knew you would be here. I knew that an article that so plainly states the truth about why America is full of wickedness evil would be over ran by those who hate the truth. That you and your fellow deniers of truth, would pour in here and attempt to make the article look irrelevant and bigoted. I was right now wasn’t I? I am here and will remain here as God’s witness to the truth.

    - The III

14 “I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.

15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.

17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.

19For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.” (John 17:14-19)

You daddy has already been defeated, will soon be incarcerated and after his 1000 year sentence, will be done away with forever. Putting a end to his lies and deceptions.

    - The III

20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

I will never forsake my God and bow to your “personal thing” religion and I live a very happy and fulfilled life, thank you.
I’m very sorry you do not know as much as you think you do. Anyway, God bless you and in his Own time he will bring you to the truth.

When you called me a freak and an alien, it was quite obvious that you were a girl.

  • The III

@LGardner-Correction: It should say, Now go cry to your daddy and remind him what fate awaits him. (Debate all you want, I’ll be here all week.)

III – wise up. People are just going to tune you out when you expound as you do and quote numerous Bible verses. You are either going to catch people’s attention with short blogs or you aren’t going to catch their attention at all.

  • The III

    @Greg-
It would appear that I’m not being tuned out? I’m not here to catch anyone’s attention or to convert. I’m here to defend the truth. Not with my words and ideas but with the scriptures that are truth. When droves of truth haters comments come in and your only 1 or 2 comments buried in the the other 59, the haters make the article out to be irrelevant or untrue for other readers that may be searching for the truth in these end times. I choose not to leave them with lying comments after comments with out a rebuttal. Thanks for the advice but avoided them will not make them go away but only encourages them.
I do appreciate your help when you jump in there ever now and then.

    Thanks again,

III – when Jesus told us to be fishers of men I believe that he expected us to use the same techniques and wisdom that fishermen use. They don’t jump in the water and chase the fish and they don’t throw bombs at the fish. The fish have to be enticed to be caught and the fisherman must be patient and consistent. You will not draw men to that life saving captivation of the gospel by trying to turn this site into a salvation zone. The creator of the site has hit on a topic that draws people in. Don’t turn them away but instead drop snippets that will entice them to think, to circle the bait. When we plant seeds we generally don’t see the results but instead those seeds are watered and brought to cultivation by others. Spreading the gospel is good but we can become like the girl who followed Paul for days, telling others loudly that Paul was a person they should listen to. Paul did not thank her but instead he rebuked her and drove out the evil spirit from her so that his gospel could be spread more effectively. I don’t say you need a demon cast out but do think that you are being counterproductive.

  • The III

    @Greg-
Does this sound like good dialogue, varying viewpoints and debate to you. They have no interest in such things. “We war not with flesh and blood but with….” you know the rest. If you don’t, just ask and I will provide you with the scripture. I hope you get my point.

    Bible thumpers; narrow-minded, bigoted outlook on the world; get yourself into intense psychotherapy. You are one sick puppy; all I see in this list is someone spewing hate, intolerance, and bigotry; There’s enough small-mindedness and bigotry in the world; “Sheesh, what a bunch of maroons”; onese that are the MOST biggotted, judgmental, closedminded and hateful; seem to be the onese that are the MOST biggotted, judgmental, closedminded and hateful; freak; Are you an alien; Saul of Tarsus, AKA St. Paul, is easily the greatest self-loathing closeted homosexual of all time. (He hated women, too, which is easy to see from his tortured writing.);
I sincerely hope you can get yourself to a psych ward; You are clearly a person with severe anger issues. I suggest professional mental health counseling; boy you really are a great big massive dollop of SIN arent you ??; well I just cant stop making fun of your very non cerebral motivated thoughts, you are just that pathetic to me; I think that III is a closet gay; how arrogant)
Stop being so condescending; “my daddy can beat the **** outta your daddy–he probly did”; –gotta ask –your gay aren’t you?? It really is okay–get outta the closet

All comments listed above were aimed at the article, Christians in general and myself.

@Greg- “I don’t say you need a demon cast out but do think that you are being counterproductive.”

Counterproductive to what? I know who I am addressing. Don’t come down on me because you don’t. When and how is scripture ever counterproductive. Are you using the argument against me that the Pharisees used against Jesus, “he’s a devil casting out demons” is that what your implying? Have I not already covered this in one of my previous threads? Why don’t you show Acts 16:16 so you can show everyone how you are using it out of context? Here allow me.

16Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. 17This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.” 18She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.

Am I proclaiming such a thing? Show me where I have done such a thing you accuse me of.

Please, Wickedness And Evil? Please – you all miss the number one in my book:

    The 2 ongoing illegal wars:

    and

the dumping of BILLIONS upon BILLIONS into these countries.

III – you confirm my point. Wise up.

  • The III

    Greg-

    Here is wisdom.

    - The III

10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.” (Psalm 111:10)

    - God

Tell me, did Jesus drive the money changers out of the Temple with kind words?

Why do you suppose he was so harsh with them and used a whip?

When you start keeping all 10 of the Commandments and stop denying the 4th and 2nd ones willingly, than you will have wisdom. Your so deceived you think Sunday worship, Christmas and Easter are of God. Look them up in any encyclopedia and see there origins. You follow the traditions of the worldly church and deny the Commandments of God. Wise up Greg and see that you are deceived. You are the fish not the fisherman. A fish who thinks he is fishing. No where in your threads did you ever present the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Men are drawn to God by the preaching of the Word of God, not by crafty devises of the word of Greg.

    - The III

7 “in vain do they worship me,
teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.

8 You leave the commandment of God and hold to the tradition of men.”

9 And he said to them, “You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to establish your tradition! (Mark 7:7-9)

    -Jesus

“If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love. (John 15:10)

5 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15

    - Jesus

  • The III

Black- “The III you sound like a true demagogue.”

Not true. All power and glory are to my Lord and Master Jesus Christ.

    - The III

  • Greg

III – you are a moron and are making Christianity and Christians look stupid. People aren’t on this site to hear the gospel and you are stupid to not understand that. You are also stupid to assume that I do not understand things about the origins of our pagan holidays and to assume that I practice them. You are doing the same things the god-haters do when they call you a homosexual, i.e. make up a false attack. Wise up. No one is going to read your postings and fall on their knees in repentance. If that is your goal, be a street preacher, start a church or get involved with an outreach ministry. You can do nothing more than plant seeds here and you are not planting the right seeds.

  • The III

@Greg- Now the truth comes out. That’s all I’m here for. It is not I but you that is making Christianity and Christians look stupid on this blog. “you are a moron”; “you are stupid” these are the seeds you plant and that is what was growing on this blog. Do I need to re-post all the names we Christians and this article have been called again and add yours to the list? Stop playing the poser. I have assumed nothing your comments make it clear that you hold to the worldly view of religion. Wise up. Your not kidding anyone.

I am a preacher and like I said before I’m not here to convert anyone but to keep the truth to the forefront. This article is the truth and it’s facts are backed by the Word of God. The truth goes out and never comes back void. This is the seeds being sown. If you can’t stand to read scripture on a blog than I suggest you not read my comments.

A Christian that does not like to read scripture? Pleazzzzzze

    - The III

12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

    -Jesus

  • Greg

III – Your zeal is good and I would not be accomplishing my objective if I hurt you in your commitment to the Lord. This is not “the temple” so I suggest that you not attempt to use a whip. I am constantly amazed at how ignorant Americans are in regard to godliness. You are trying to feed babies a grown up meal and they won’t be able to swallow it – they will choke on it. Understand your audience.

  • black

The III, I would be interested to know what you think about the wars going on in Afghan and Iraq and the continuing problems in Palestine ?

  • The III

Greg- I have not tried to address everyone on this blog but those I have addressed I understand quite well. Just as Jesus understood who He was dealing with in the Temple. I fell to see how that is of any concern of yours. I have not been critiquing your comments nor do I feel you should be mine. This is not my first blog and if I’m out of line in anyway lets let the host of this website point it out. That should be left up to their desecration not yours. The freedom of speech is for all not just a few.

    - The III

  • Greg

It is difficult to have a dialogue on this site due to the delay in posting and it is not really the intention of the site to do so. Since this is an old posting and there are a lot of comments, we are probably in isolated territory for the most part. Therefore, III, I will make one more comment to you but am getting to the belief that it will be as futile as debating with nob hill.

You are quite judgmental so I will briefly tell you that I am not opposed to scripture, having read the Bible approximately 20 times and listened to it on CD or tape scores of times. I don’t however, read scripture you post when there are numerous references because I will read the Bible on my own. Non-Christians certainly won’t read your posts either, just as if a Muslim posted Koran scripture I would completely ignore it because I reject the Koran. Non-Christians reject the Bible.

The lost have to be engaged where they are at, not where we are at. Paul was a master at this and of course Jesus was also. If you view Ray Comfort’s videos or read his material you will see that he uses scripture sparingly and not until he engages the lost person on their own turf. Regardless of the zeal or commitment we have, we won’t reach people with the truth by using the Bible as a sledgehammer. If you do this in your church I may applaud you because American Christians are woefully lacking in Bible understanding and in fear of the Lord. However, you won’t have a congregation if you preach hard truth because so few people are willing to endure it.

Perhaps you and I have one thing in common – I am frustrated with the heathenism in this nation and a part of me would love to see God pour out his wrath on the wicked because of what their sin is doing to this nation. I suspect you may be frustrated with a lack of godliness you are seeing in your congregation and may be venting through this website. It won’t work.

11 “Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?” (Ezekiel 33:11)

    Greg and III,

I see both of your points and can see seeds of truth being planted in both of your ways of trying to reach the lost. However, let us not argue/fight in the eyes of the world brothers. Exchange emails and debate there. The lost reading this blog are saying in their hearts, “See, even Christians are bashing heads with one another!!” Both Gregs way will get people to think (the babes/milk drinkers) and the III ways are great for reaching people who grew up in the faith and have turned away to worldiness/ungodliness(The Scriptures have a way of convicting people!!) Goood stuff from both you guys…keep up the good work and may the lost come to know the One true God…Jesus Christ.

    @World In Darkness-

Thank you for your comments and your encouragement.

@black- I have no opinions on the politics of nations or their wars. God does say in Zachariah 12:2-3 that he will use Israel and Jerusalem to to cause trouble for all nations of the earth.

@ The III, that he certainly is doing..

    Brothers,

I am encouraged to see such enthusiasm to serve our Lord Jesus, but we are missing a key element here…love. I know it is sometimes frustrating when speaking with people who don’t know God. We are only human, and we tend to get offended or argumentative. We need to try and slow it down a little.

God loves us all, so much so that John 3:16 says:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Everyone here needs to know that God sent His Son Jesus into this world, knowing that He would suffer terribly and die FOR OUR SINS, then rise again to ascend to heaven, all because HE LOVES YOU so much that He doesn’t want you to suffer for all eternity, which is what WILL HAPPEN if you don’t know Jesus.

We are all sinners, every one of us, that’s why without Jesus, you will be condemned. But everyone, the great part is, no matter what you’ve done, if you turn from your sins and come to Jesus, you will be saved from condemnation and eternal suffering.

Unfortunately for America, it will continue its downward spiral unless people turn back to God. But, God gave people free will, and citing scripture in an abrasive manner will not entice them into obeying God. It is God’s love that will, and they won’t know it if we don’t show it. Remember 1 Corinthians 16:14 –

“Let all that you do be done with love.”

  • Greg

Justa – I have not been perfect in my responses to III but I think we both got some good points in and we did so with a total commitment to our Lord. Regarding love, I would say that America has heard WAY too much about the love of God and WAY too little about the wrath of God. I totally reject the nonsense of the four spiritual laws and the “God has a wonderful plan for your life” myth. God has made it clear in his word that he loves us and blesses us when we obey his commands but he also made it clear that he will bring judgment and destruction on us when we reject his laws and rebel against him. What I see in this corrupt nation is the love of God being used to justify immorality and that people spit in God’s face with the foolish belief that there will be no judgment. I say if we truly love people in this worse-than-Sodom nation we better tell them that their destruction draweth nigh and eternal hell follows that destruction. Love preaching is not going to reach this woefully lost nation.

  • The III

@Justa Guy – Yes I would agree. Brothers should only address one another with a loving spirit but when dealing with unrepentant sinners we are to “deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” As Paul says earlier in (I Corinthians 5:5)dealing with church discipline of an unrepentant sinner among them. One of their members was committing fornication with his father’s wife, and they had done nothing about this sin in their midst (1Cor. 5:1-2). Instead, they had become “puffed up” (arrogant) about his presence among them, thinking that his presence was not affecting them and that they didn’t have to do anything about him (1 Cor.5:2). They had become far to worldly about the presence of sin in the church just as America has with the wicked among them. My love goes out to the wicked (unrepentant sinner) as well as the faithful(repentant sinner) but they must be told that their actions(sins) are destroying America as well as themselves. For if they are not told, how are they ever to know?

Thank you for your kind words.

    Justa & World Darkness

Please don’t discourage them. I love it when Thumpers fight.

If you’ll review the “dialog” you’ll see that while Greg is a Class A Hater, he jumped into this fray only to get III to shut down his transmitter, because he realizes III is a florid lunatic whose rantings are bad for business. He got more than he bargained for, I think.

This Ray Comfort person sounds interesting. I’m shocked I’ve never heard of him and I;m going to do more research. At first blush his methods sound a lot like the “grooming” process used by pimps and pedophiles in setting up their victims.

  • World In Darkness

    @ nob hill

Well you see these “Thumpers” are trying to reach people like you nob hill. People who continue to mock the Lord Jesus and will not come to Him or believe in Him until you stand before Him in utter horror, realizing how wrong you were. You call Greg and III a “Hater and Lunatic” when they are telling you the truth and you insult such a godly man as Ray Comfort without even knowing who he is. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.” Isaiah 5:20 “And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” Matthew 12:36 Eternity is a long time nob…think about it.

  • Greg

nob – you seem to have done a lot of Bible research in a previous posting in which you twisted so many scriptures. You may have read that we are commanded to study to show ourselves approved and to test every spirit. You probably read that the Bereans were praised because they tested everything they were taught by fellow Christians against the scripture. That wasn’t hateful, it was prudent. The only thing I “hate” is the fact that so many people like you are going to spend an eternity in hell and I hate Satan for being so relentless and effective at deceiving the masses like you to go there with him. God didn’t create that place for you but there will be room for you if that is where you are committed to spend eternity.

Lets get this VERY straight. An Atheist is not a God-hater. Repeat: An Atheist is not a God-hater!

    Got it folks?

They can’t be because they don’t accept the premise of a Supreme Being. They are ‘without god’ NOT ‘against god’ – look at the logic! Reason my friends. Reason.

I find, as someone who has worked PERSONALLY for Madalyn Murray O’Hair and more recently, Billy Graham (in the early 90’s) that this whole god-hater stuff comes from WITHIN the Church ITSELF.

I see it everyday. The hypocrites … the complete disregard for VIRTUALLY anything Jesus stood for.

I have found that many Atheists actually find the words of Jesus to be quite profound and worth noting …

Thanks all. PS: Madalyn was a great woman to work for. I cherish every moment I had with her

  • Greg

xylo – God didn’t create the hypocrital mindset that has caused you to hate God and he will send all sinners to hell along with the God-haters.

Let’s get this VERY straight. There is no such thing as an atheist because God created even morons with too much mental capacity to believe that creation was not created. There ARE many god-haters who express their hatred of God like a child with pouting and revenge of “OK, God, I’m just going to pretend you don’t even exist and attack those who acknowledge that you do exist.” How do you think God has failed you? Was there one specific issue that brought you to that point of hatred towards God or was it a series of events? Are you going to be so stupid as to allow “hypocrites” to put you in hell for eternity?

  • Greg

xylo – another thing to consider is that many people who “invite Jesus into their heart” through the false Billy Graham salvation message end up hating God just as you do. I got “saved” at a BG crusade at the age of 11 and God kept tugging at my heart to get saved for years afterwards when I heard true altar calls. The problem with BG’s false message is that it is not Biblical. God does not have a wonderful plan for our lives even though all blessings come from the Lord and Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Christians sometimes get robbed, raped, murdered, cheated, lied to, rejected, shunned, outcast, unjustly hated, feel hunger, pain and thirst, etc. When people get “saved” under the false four spiritual laws salvation process they tend to end up hating God, as you do, when trials come. Salvation is about repenting of our sins and believing that the shed blood of Jesus Christ has saved us from the eternity in hell that we deserve. That does not mean that all of a sudden we get nothing but bliss and a trouble-free life. It does mean that we can take all of our cares to the Lord and it also means that we don’t have to pay for our own sins with eternity in hell.

  • xyloman

Whoa! I never said I hate God – by no means. I respect your point of view – just don’t put words in my mouth.
The jury is out on the god idea – I could be right I could be wrong. MOSTLY, I am willing to SEE and accept the evidence that would sway me or anyone else on way or the other. That’s the beauty of science!
Unfortunately – SOME God believers accept blindly WITHOUT a rational thought process. Anyway – that may not be you … I certainly am not pegging as as this type.
Atheists exist my friend. Most do not HATE God. I can tell you that from experience of KNOWING them. I also work closely with Christianity and respect it 100%! Morals can and in fact DO exist WITHOUT any God or Supreme Being. That’s just the facts.

God can not fail one if God never was. Moot point. A wash.

Can any boy/girl at 11 understand what God is? I don’t think so.

You just need to chill on the Christian thing and discuss these great topics with a more ‘open heart and mind.’

    peace.

  • xyloman

Oh yes … I am very comfortable in knowing where I am going ‘in the end.’

That my friend, is just fine. I do not fear that one iota.

  • Greg

xylo – nice to communicate with you. I have studied in great detail and allowed myself to question many things and explored many beliefs so that I could be firm in what I found to be the truth. I also have both a science degree and an engineering degree. There are topics to discuss and I attempt to place postings that cause people to think, but always with the goal of moving people to a Biblical worldview and with the hope that it will create a spark to move them into the truth and salvation through Jesus Christ. All of those great topics, however, are completely moot when people fail to understand who is in control. The physical world you see and the science that you believe is so valuable will all pass away. Science is now, in large part, a joke because science was adulterated in order to accommodate the mythology of evolution, a myth created specifically to allow people to pretend there is no god and no consequences to sin. We are in a spiritual battle and that is what is eternal.

  • The Libertarian

The monetary system facilitates most of the moral decline in this country. It’s evident in young women who subject themselves to over-the-top sexual encounters falsely depicted in pornographic features. Try doing some research on why women appear in porn, and you’ll find that the majority do so for monetary gain. Pornography, prostitution, and other illicit activities are bi-products of a corrupt and unsustainable monetary system. One can argue that prohibition is the solution, but such elements will continue to exist and it will burden citizens with taxes to help enforce and prosecute individuals who break laws designed make our society “moral.”
