Governments To Christians: Don’t You Dare Speak Out Against The Sexual Sin In Society

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Barbed Wire - Public DomainIn our upside down world, evil has become good and good has become evil.  Once upon a time, everyone in society generally knew what was “right” and what was “wrong” even if they didn’t always abide by the rules.  But now the rules have been totally flipped on their head.  If you choose to live a lifestyle that is morally wrong, you are celebrated by society, and if you choose to speak out against the sexual sin that is exploding everywhere around us then you are considered to be a “hater” and a “bigot”.  In fact, governments all over the world are now passing “hate speech” laws that are making it a crime to speak out against sexual sin.  With each passing year it gets even worse, and those pushing this agenda forward are never going to be satisfied until those standing up for Biblical truth are locked away in prison.

And I was not exaggerating when I said that sexual sin is “exploding” in our society.  One example of this is the stunning growth of “polyamory”.  The following comes from a recent article in the Guardian that highlighted how the city of Portland in particular has become a hotbed for those that are into the “poly lifestyle”…

Polyamory is the practice of intimate relationships involving more than two people with the consent of everyone involved. In recent years, polyamory is working its way to becoming a household term. Researchers have estimated that 4 to 5% of Americans practice some form of consensual non-monogamy. A 2014 blog post by Psychology Today revealed that 9.8 million people have agreed to allow satellite lovers in their relationships, which includes poly couples, swinging couples and others practicing sexual non-monogamy.

And in Portland – home to swingers’ clubs, the most strip bars per capita, and annual porn festivals – it seems you can’t throw a stone without finding a poly relationship. Although there’s no official data supporting an exact number, various Meetup groups boast a few thousand members each, while other Facebook groups have hundreds.

Another lifestyle choice that has been experiencing tremendous growth is bisexuality.  According to the New York Post, one study of 30,000 U.S. adults found that the number of Americans that have dabbled on both sides of the fence has more than doubled since 1990…

Bisexuality is booming, with the number of people who bed men and women more than doubling, a study says.

Some 7.7 percent revealed they had bi romps in 2014, compared to 3.1 percent in 1990.

And it isn’t just the world that is embracing these alternative lifestyles.

Just check out what the western division of the United Methodist Church just decided to do

Representatives of the United Methodist Church have elected their first openly gay bishop, in defiance of church prohibitions on homosexuality.

Rev. Karen Oliveto, senior pastor of Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco, was elected bishop of the church’s Western Division at a conference Friday night in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“I think at this moment I have a glimpse of the realm of God,” 58-year-old Oliveto said after her election, according to a news story from the church. “Today we took a step closer to embody beloved community and while we may be moving there, we are not there yet. We are moving on to perfection.”

Of course a lot of Bible-believing Christians don’t like where things are headed, and they are speaking out about it.  Unfortunately, this is becoming more difficult to do all over the world.  National, state and local governments all over the planet are passing new “hate speech laws” that are extremely strict, and many of these new laws are specifically targeted at Christians.

So if you say the wrong thing at the wrong time in the wrong place, you could actually be hauled off to prison.

Just today, I came across an article that talked about how 60 homes in Germany were recently raided by police in a “hate speech” crackdown

Writing a blog or venting in social media about a topic deemed to be “Hate Speech” will leave yourself getting raided by the police in Germany. According to a report from Breitbart, German Police recently raided homes of 60 people suspected of writing what is deemed ‘hate’ speech on social media in Germany. This effort was coordinated by the Federal Criminal Police (BKA),consisting officers from 25 departments search across 14 states.

These police raids took place in efforts to fight against “verbal radicalisation”, according to the German government. These type of procedures have increased in the wake of Europe’s migrant crisis. BKA President Holger Münch said attacks on migrant shelters were the result of “radicalisation” on social media.

You may not think that such a thing could happen in North America, but you would be wrong.

In Canada, a new “hate speech” bill has just been introduced that would hit anyone found guilty of “hate speech” against transgender individuals with up to two years in prison

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced a bill that would criminalize anti-transgender speech, with violators receiving up to two years in prison.

The new bill, introduced May 17 on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, aims to amend the Canadian Criminal Code to expand the country’s “hate speech” prohibitions to include any public speech or communication that “promotes hatred” on the basis of “gender identity” or “gender expression.” It would also change the Canadian Human Rights Act to cover transgender people.

In New York City, new rules that were recently issued by the New York City Commission on Human Rights state that you could be fined up to $250,000 for each time that you offend a transgender individual.

According to the rules, “offenses” include such things as referring to a transgender individual by the wrong pronoun or not allowing a transgender individual to use the restroom of their choice.

More laws, rules and regulations like this are going to continue to be put into place, and it will eventually get to the point where those that wish to speak out about sexual morality are essentially banned from doing so.

Of course this is precisely what the Bible told us to expect during the last days just before the return of Jesus Christ.  In my new book entitled The Rapture Verdict, I talk about the growing darkness in society and the coming judgment on the United States of America.  But I also emphasize that God has a plan, and that a great move of God is coming even in the midst of all the darkness.

All throughout history, the world has tried to crush the church, but it has never worked.

And without a doubt, great persecution is coming, but we will never bend, we will never bow, and we will never deny the truth.

  • Robert

Christians are not called to clean up the world nor their local community. You are called to be a shining light with good works. Casting stones is always dangerous because invariably your own sins are exposed. How often have you seen this occur. I have a lot.

    • rmc9

      John the Baptist…

      • Robert

Church was not established yet. But, if you insist on exposing the sin of others, be prepared for the consequences. Jimmy Swaggart used to preach hard and look at what happened to him. Look at the conservative preachers who are hooked on porn or have relationships with women not their wife. There is a former big preacher for Indiana who is doing hard time in a federal prison for having sex with an underage girl who he was “counseling”. Our world is getting darker. Scripture predicts it. There is only one way for things to change for the better and electing just the right president is not it.

But good point on John. What are you willing to lose your head over. BTW, I do think Snyder is wrong on his rapture theory. Will see one way or another.

        • Joan Camara

Speaking of losing “our” head, I’m wondering if satan immigrated/activated his army for a reason. When these “people” take high positions in all these countries’ governments, who you think will be in charge over Rev 20:4? It’s said that satan’s time is short. I think it’s just got a lot shorter! Our strength better be strong for the days ahead!!

          • robert

I think it most critical to avoid deception. There are a lot of opportunities for that with all our media. Revelation is a tough book full of mystery. I have heard many a preacher deal with it and the very good ones admit that there is much we simply do not know, cannot know until we get “there”. In the meantime, for my part, I wait. I suspect I will die before I see “the end” but it really does not matter.

            Cheers.

        • David Jordan

and,by the way.swaggert has made a wonderful comeback.he has a very large following. you know why? because Christians are taught to “forgive sins”.

        • Charles

Yeah. That whole “exposing your own sins” thing didn’t seem to phase Donald Trump one iota, did it?

The guy is every bit as foul as Hillary Clinton, and yet all these supposed “Christians” just love him to death.

So the message you’re really pushing is that no ones sins matter UNLESS they profess their faith in Christ Jesus. Then it’s a capital offense.

Who’s the real hypocrite and coward here? It looks to be you, from where I’m standing.

          • Robert

I have no idea what you are getting at here. I do not support any candidate. Vote for Nero or Augustus? Perish the thought.

    • Taking care of business!

Is preaching God’s commandments “casting stones”? If we seek legal address base upon our 1A rights, is that “dangerous because invariably [our] own sins [will be] exposed”? Are we to kowtow to a Satanic world? Did Christ kowtow to the Pharisees and Sadducees? If you read the Word, you’ll find He did not. In fact you, find (as needed) He became angry, a righteous anger. Seems He wasn’t afraid or ashamed (Of course Christ was sinless.) to have His “sins…exposed”. And it was they (the Pharisees and Sadducees) that saw the Lord sinful. Just as this world finds us believers a hindrance (Hindrance, as they do not accept the reality of sin.) to remake the world into a sinful paradise. I agree with you–in part. (We are called to spread the Gospel, do good works, and be a light unto the world. You didn’t mention sharing the Gospel. I pray you take that as a given.) For edification, it would serve you well to examine what I’ve stated. In the love of Christ, Tcob!.

    • monkeyboy

Doesn’t the Bible tell us “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” Proverbs 29:2

And doesn’t Jesus tell the parable in Luke 19 where the servants are commanded to “Occupy till I come”?

So ‘occupy’ what? Bear ‘rule’ over what? I don’t think you know the Bible or what a Christian life is supposed to be as well as you think you do.

      • Robert

The scripture also says “there are none righteous, no not one”. Only Jesus Christ is righteous. Please see David’s comment above re selective sin. I will also agree that a lifetime is not sufficient to know the scriptures completely. But I have seen enough in 70 plus years of life and 50 of that in the real church of Christ to know how many Christians do a lot of amen–ing on Sunday and live like the world the other seven days. The righteous one is Christ and He is in authority and one day will oversee things visibly.

        • monkeyboy

You must have really interesting conversations going on in your head, unfortunately nothing you just said in your reply has anything to do with what I was just talking about.

    • TTS

Read your bible. You teach doctrines of demons:

Eph. 5:11 “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”
No. The job of a follower of Christ is to show a sinner (or worldly Christian) his error (sin), and then show them the solution (blood of Jesus).

      • David

I presume then that you do not fellowship with people who are divorced or who have committed adultery. Or lusted after a [man or woman].

Here’s the problem with selective sin and specifically so called sexual sin: Christians do not apply the same standards to divorce and adultery that they do homosexuality. And yes, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. But I grow weary of people who identify as Christian attempting to remove the mote from someones eye when they have a giant log in their own. I know a lot of Christians who have been divorced, sometimes multiple times yet they aren’t judged for it. I’d be curious to know if Kim Davis issued marriage licenses to people who have been divorced or if she queries them about their sexual history (Example – “Have you been divorced or committed adultery?”) before issuing a license. I doubt it because she herself has been divorced multiple times. But of course that doesn’t count. There is a lot hypocrisy around this subject, mostly by so called Christians.

        • Mr Charrington

“Here’s the problem with selective sin and specifically so called sexual
sin: Christians do not apply the same standards to divorce and adultery
          that they do homosexuality.”

Some do — I know that JW’s do.

        • Zoe

We got pushed out of ouu church for correcting a pastor who tore apart a family who was involved in a gambling website business, but married his divorced brother to a divorced woman. Hypocrisy. Only disciplines the sins he is uncomfortable with.

      • Robert

I agree. I disagree with the politics that the church has engaged in as if that is the answer. The gospel is the answer, not men’s arguments and campaigning. The church needs to clean up their own act first. Stop the self-righteousness. Stop picking and choosing which sins you don’t like and start treating people with respect and gentleness of spirit. Conservative “Christians” want to take out a sword and start slashing. Too many churches are closer to the Westboro crazies.

        • Bruce Wayne

There does seem to be a huge difference within the gay community. As most sinners are willing to admit and ask forgiveness and in many cases 70 times 70 times. But the gay community has shown an unwillingness to admit that it is sin and instead have sought to force acceptance on the rest of society.
They have even chose the sin God hates the most to head up their rain owed banner, Pride.

And now we under the net of acceptance must ask children of 6 years old and hat Sex they “identify” with. And we have to allow a transgender to basically force his or her twisted ways into public bathrooms so that we don’t appear to be hypocritical???

The topic of discussion is exactly that we retain the freedom to discus this without repercussions .

Can you imagine what God might think if we refused to teach from biblical precepts because we didn’t want our own sins exposed.

“Well, you see God, I did not teach them what your Word says, because I did not want my past sins exposed”

          • GV

“…But the gay community has shown an unwillingness to admit that it is sin and instead have sought to force acceptance on the rest of society….”

your version of Christianity says it is a sin, we don’t have to follow what you think
if by “acceptance” you mean equality under the law then yeah

“…They have even chose the sin God hates the most to head up their rain owed banner, Pride.”

so your “god” hates us more than a man who rapes and kills a child?!?!?!?
            you are one sick puppy

          • Truthing

GayVeteran, why are you even at this web-site? You know it’s a Christian site don’t you?

          • GV

what’s the problem? don’t like people who think for themselves

          • Truthing

You know you’re not going to be able to use your “baby raping” argument much longer. Pedophilia has been removed from the Psychiatrists book as a mental illness just as homosexuality and gender confusion were. In Canada, it is now called child attraction or some such stupid thing. Look out! You will very soon have to accept a “P” added to your LGBT++++++. Homosexual acts used to get you arrested. Now, you actually take much PRIDE in them. You think things like pedophilia and incest, and bestiality won’t want their PRIDEFUL place right beside you? When (not if), these other abominations are made “legal”, are you going to change your tune.
Sin is sin is sin. The only “worst” sin, is the one not repented of.

          • GV

“You know you’re not going to be able to use your “baby raping” argument much longer….”

YOU are the one who thinks your “god” hates Gays more than a man who rapes and kills a child!!!
AGAIN, you are one sick puppy

“…Pedophilia has been removed from the Psychiatrists book as a mental illness just as homosexuality and gender confusion were….”

classic argument of the bigot, compare homosexuality with pedophilia.

hey Einstein, explain how a child can give consent.

“…You think things like pedophilia and incest, and bestiality won’t want their PRIDEFUL place right beside you?….”

and there you have it again, bigots comparing homosexuality with bestiality!

now explain how an animal can give consent

you know, I think you’re living in the wrong country. join people who agree with you about Gays, move to Saudi Arabia

    • brad

We are to be the salt… a preservative. If you do not point out the sin and correct, society spoils. YES, it also says remove the plank from your own eye before you remove the sliver from your brothers eye. SO, yes we are to correct out brother only after we have our own individual houses in order.

      • Robert

Yes. We worry over our believing brother, not the unconverted world. You cannot influence the dead which is what unbelievers are. The bakery who suffered a terrible loss for not making a cake for a gay wedding stood their ground. Ok. But why not do the same about divorced people and those who have had abortions or who go to R rated movies or drink to get drunk?

    • JB

Christians and people who followed the Lord in the OT have always been expected to call out unrighteousness. Elijah isn’t thought of as the “iron man of God” for nothing. Read the book of Acts.

    • Mr Charrington

      Amos 5:14, 15

    • Bruce Wayne

Well Robert, how often has that occurred to you?

  • R.bitting

Ok, seriously, an ad at the end of your artcle advertising all gay cruises, really?

    • VigilanteCaregiver

I got an ad for a bronze toy top made in Canada.

      • Letfreedomring

I got an ad for a Hebrew Bible.

    • Chris Gerber

If you’re a blogger, you do research. Google Ads operate on the search terms you enter and websites that you go to. I wouldn’t worry about this advert. at all, considering that this is a researched blog page.

    • Letfreedomring

I’ve read this article twice (just skimmed it the first time) and got an ad for a Hebrew Bible and another for buying gold.

  • K

Mathew 24:37 As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man. We were told this was coming.

  • VigilanteCaregiver

Proves how weak and wrong their beliefs and practices are. These laws are unconstitutional and illegitimate.

What’s the worst thing a believer in The Lord, Jesus Christ can do to such folks? Answer: do nothing and abandon them. The Lord will act when His righteous and those with potential are removed. When the Saints are driven out or commanded to depart, and in a place of safety; the Lord shall visit in Judgement.

    • GV

“When one resorts to violence to enforce their ideals; their ideals stink and will never prosper society. These laws are unconstitutional and illegitimate…..”

like the miscegenation laws, right? so many of you Christians supported those laws along with the rest of the Jim Crow laws

      • VigilanteCaregiver

Well Gay Veteran, finally got around to altering your name to get past the trollblock, I see. And as psychotically incorrect, fallacious, anti-christian, racist, and delusional as always. Still desperate for my attention, too. Well, you can’t have it past this, pro-infanticide, deviant usurper. Bye!

        • GV

“Well Gay Veteran, finally got around to altering your name to get past the trollblock, I see….”

I see you have no problems with falsely accusing someone. My new screen name is due to Discus not informing me of replies to my posts.

“…And as psychotically incorrect, fallacious, anti-christian, racist, and delusional as always….”

doesn’t the Bible say thy shalt not bear false witness?

and ant-Christian? why should that matter to a mormon???

          “…Well, you can’t have it past this….”

ROFLOL, you block people when you LOSE an argument, coward

          “…pro-infanticide, deviant usurper….”

          yet more LIES from you

  • barry oldwater

Really, an all gay cruise ad at the bottom of your article?

  • Taking care of business!

    Gov is NOT God!

      they think they are.

      • Taking care of business!

Amen, brother, brad. And God bless you and yours. in the love of Christ, Tcob!,

    • Thurston Howell III

They are not God, but they are a god.

1Cor: 8:5, For even if there are so called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many so-called gods and lords)

      • Taking care of business!

Forgive me if I’m thick, but I don’t follow your point. I started, “Gov is not God!” Yet I don’t understand why you sited Cor. 8:5. You make is sound as if “Gov IS God!” My point is summed up in 1 Corinthians 8:6 King James Version (KJV) 6 But to us there IS but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. Emphasis added. In Christ, Tcob!.

  • Tallkiwi

Mind your own business and let everybody else mind theirs. What goes on in the private lives of others is of no concern to anybody unless they break the law or encroach on your rights in some way, which is highly unlikely.

    • Paul Patriot

You must have not heard of the bathroom bills spreading around America? By the lgbt community? These laws DO encroach on rights of people, and shove an agenda down people’s throats all in the name of “equal rights” and nondiscrimination

      • Tallkiwi

Like I said, “if they encroach on your rights” but what they do in their own bedrooms is none of anybody’s business.

        • Bill Blais

That is the same argument back in the 80s and 90s and I disagree. As a society we are responsible for what we consider right and just, God said adultery is wrong, homosexuals are wrong, beastality is wrong, if as a society we take your stand essentially we are saying ok and teaching our children the same

          • GV

            “…God said…homosexuals are wrong, beastality is wrong….”

you just can’t help yourself trying to link the two

      • GV

do not blame the gay community for these bathroom laws which are being promoted by our so-called “leaders”
a lot of gays want nothing to do with the “T” in LGBT

    • brad

forcing me to accept their sin and parade it in public is not right. Do it behind your own closed doors, I would never know about it.

There are a lot of benefits of living a life without sin. For one thing, we live a better happier life.

No one lives a sinless life.

        No one is 100% happy.

        • Emery Richards

Maybe not 100%, but 99%, sure. Living as God WANTS us to live is a LIFESTYLE, and it includes all the benefits of such. And there are COUNTLESS benefits. Love of God means obeying His commands, and yet His commands are not burdensome.

          • Richard

You have met god? Or jesus? Or know anyone that has? Religious BS from a book rewritten by men who want to control the world for 2000 years…..you are all dupes.

          • jaguar

I have friends that have had NDE’S, so you’re very wrong about God, Jesus, Bible…I even wrote a book on NDE’S and Angels, etc..it’s on Amazon

I have friends that have met ETs and have seen many UFO’s. And have physical evidence. Oh…and these people were fully awake. Not on some operating table unconscious.

          • Emery Richards

            Richard;
You are a very unwise person, and you will also be destroyed, permanently, for that lack of wisdom. God, nor His word, is BS. He and it are VERY real. It IS, however, your choice to disbelieve in Him. But, even Satan believes in God. You are less than Satan it appears.

          • Richard

            Show me some evidence please?

          • Taking care of business!

It matters not, Richard, for you heart is seared against the Word. Psalm 14:1 King James Version (KJV) “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.” Please feel free to leave a smug, snide reply, because I count it all joy to be persecuted for my Lord and Savior. And know that I pray for all lost souls, as yourself. And there’s not a thing you can do about it. In the love of Christ, Tcob!.

          • Emery Richards

Don’t FURTHER be a fool Richard.

      • Emery Richards

But 9 million of us live a life doing everything humanly possible to live a sinless life, and when we DO sin, we repent, pray for forgiveness, and continue on. As a result, we DO live a very, very happy life. Free of regret, the problems the rest of the world experiences, and free if guilt and free of trying to “get ahead” through other than moral, ethical means, as MOST do.

  • Apollyon

Your place as a Christian is not to point your finger at another and condemn them. You are just as much a sinner as the people you point your finger at. All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. For a business man to refuse service to a patron because their sin is different from their own is unchristian. Jesus did not go around condemning people because they were sinners, he condemn the sin not the sinners. Get off you high horse when it comes to failings of others they alone are responsible for themselves and will answer to God for their own actions. You will be judged by your compassion, love and how well you lived your life, not how many people you chastised while you were here. Their are some souls that are damned from the moment they are born because of the way they choose to live their lives and your condemnation only reflects back on how well you are living your life not how badly they are living theirs. There is nothing wrong with pointing out false doctrines and teaching just state the truth without judgement. A lie is a lie no matter how many times you say it. The truth stands forever without having to be repeated.

    • brad

Read your bible…. whole nations are judged because of the sins of the people. So just let people do what they want and then suffer for it?

Me to governments: Don’t you dare try to limit my freedom of speech.

  • Ivan the true

The collapse of morals is the biggest problem this country faces. I , for one, will stand up and speak my mind, regardless of the consequences. Jesus Christ is the way and there is no other. They can try to tell me that the gay lifestyle is okay. They can practice whatever perversions they desire, but I will not have to stand before a just God and try to justify it, as if that would do any good. Unfortunately, God has lifted his hand of blessing off of this country. Our corrupt leaders have sown the wind and we all now are reaping the whirlwind. It is truly a sad thing to see. My heart does indeed break for our once great country.

    • L. A. McDonough

Apparently, Trump is condoning gay marriage and the lgbt bathroom issues. Our major players in pushing globalist agenda are: main stream media, 501c3 do nothing apostate churches (social clubs greedy clergy man pleasers) and education incl higher educ. Country under judgement, voting is a waste of time. Pence (VP) is a globalist and pro Muslim immigration. Trump didn’t choose the right VP-Carson or Session or the ret. general. We must obey God rather than man.
He says to admonish the sinner- one of the seven spiritual works of mercy.
Christians are not to be intimidated by this evil generation, even if imprisoned or put to death. The martyrs will go directly to Heaven without purgation. So be of good cheer and proclaim the Word boldly to the lost fearing no man and his evil laws that are in contradiction to the Law of God.

    • John Francis

Yes indeed. The Bible declares that before the coming of the Lord, Satan will work “with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness;” and they that “received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved,” will be left to receive “strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” 2 Thess. 2:9-11. Not until this condition shall be reached, and the union of the church with the world shall be fully accomplished throughout Christendom, will the fall of Babylon be complete. The change is a progressive one, and the perfect fulfillment of Revelation 14:8 is near at hand.

It was apostasy that led the early church to seek the aid of the civil government, and this prepared the way for the persecutions in heathen Rome and in the Inquisition centuries later. Said Paul: “There” shall “come a falling away, . . . and that man of sin be revealed.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3. So apostasy in the church will prepare the way for the image to the beast.

The Bible declares that before the coming of the Lord there will exist a state of religious declension similar to that in the first centuries. “In the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5. “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” 1 Timothy 4:1. Satan will work “with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness.” And all that “received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved,” will be left to accept “strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11. When this state of ungodliness shall be reached, the same results will follow as in the first centuries, global persecution of the followers of Christ.

The churches in apostasy is why the Lord sends out the message to His people still in those churches, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, come out of her My people.

    • eunuch

The hard part about following Christianity for a eunuch not on testosterone or estrogen is obeying a Christian dress code where I live (men required to wear pants is minimum unless in bed). Apparently I still have to do this to get to heaven?? My thermoneutral zone is much lower than hormone people and on top of that I get hot flashes (although not as extreme as when I was in menopause). Hard to sleep at night if wearing anything, even sometimes a sleeping mask. My skin has a fatty layer normal people don’t have.

I suspect someone from church maybe saw me wearing shorts at QT when I was in menopause and now they probably think I’m a secret sinner. I don’t want to tell church people i’m a eunuch because they’re very pious (even though Bible supports it) but yet what if he saw me?

The modesty dress code is hard. Part of the reason for it I think is to reduce sexual thoughts but in my case it’s even hard to think those thoughts and like women that way but yet I still have to follow their dress code and be miserable in the summer?

  • IsReal

I think MS went too far writing a book about the Rapture timeline disputing big names in Christianity who have studied the Scriptures in their libraries for years about it like Perry Stone. Who disagrees. Too much hubris to write a book on the subject, and God will be judging it. The audacity’s quite clear and you can’t fake out the spirit realm.

    • Rhialto the Marvellous

Don’t you believe that Jesus forgives sin?
I’m not saying Michael sinned, but if he did, is your idea of God’s mercy so small that Michael should be “shaking in his boots”?

  • JB

Such as the days of Lot (Luke 17:28-30, Jude 1:7) when they gave
themselves over to fornication and strange flesh. Alarmingly, in these last days it seems we’re in for a double whammy with the combined woes of sexual immorality (as in the days of Lot) and violence (as in days of Noah – Matthew 24:37-39).

God warns us not to follow in their footsteps (2 Peter 2:4-6) and He also warns us there will be mockers and scoffers (2 Peter 3:3-4). Noah preached as was ridiculed. Lot was continually vexed by what he saw (2 Peter 2:7).

Not many got into Noah’s Ark – not many were saved from the destruction of Sodom. Wide is the gate that leads to destruction. Most people have chosen the broad way. The earth is filled to the brim with professing Christians who continue to live according to the flesh in a very worldly way. In the end, God has to judge because of His character and who He is above all (holy and righteous). He knows who are His.

But there has always been a “remnant” – as in those days and now. “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the
commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12)

Which is a greater sin in the eyes of G-d: Wanton murder of innocents in third world countries to steal their natural resources, or homosexuality? Which did Jesus preach against? Jesus never said A WORD against homosexuality, and he stood up for an adulteress by saying ‘He who is without sin should cast the first stone.’

Jesus VIOLENTLY attacked the bankers in the temple but how come NOBODY says THAT should be a course of action? Personally I think mainstream ‘christianity’ focuses on sexual indiscretions because it’s easier to pick on the weak (individual sinners) than it is to go after the REAL evil – government, crooked businesses and the powerful…

    • Claire

      :-)

    • Rhialto the Marvellous

It’s incorrect to say that Jesus never said a word against homosexuality.

26″For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural ones,
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly”.
      – Romans 1:26, 27

The New Testament is comprised of words inspired by the Holy Spirit of Jesus. When the New Testament says something, it’s Jesus saying it.

Further, when Jesus stood up for the adulteress, he didn’t stand up for her sin. He told her, “…go and sin no more.”
      – John 8:11

      • knifemare69

“For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their

        – Romans 1:26, 27″

PAUL said that, NOT JESUS! Paul worked for Satan, persecuting the church. If you’re going to lie using scripture, at least quote the person you’re lying about.

“When the New Testament says something, it’s Jesus saying it.”

Satan LOVES your logic! Any crooked church member can lie and say ‘Jesus said it, it’s inspired!’ thanks to people like you.

“Your worldly, fleshly opinion is insignificant.”

So says a worldly Satan worshiper clothing himself in scripture, LOL!

STILL can’t quite quote JESUS when making your Satanic points, huh? Your dark master will NOT be pleased…

          • Rhialto the Marvellous

I notice you couldn’t refute my second point about the adulteress? Oh well…

By the way, Paul, who persecuted the church, met Jesus on the road to Damascus and was saved, then went on to write a huge portion of the Holy Bible as he was inspired by the Holy Spirit of Jesus.
You see, true salvation is found in Christ.
I urge you to seek him.

      • GV

sickening that you totally ignored the first sentence:

“Which is a greater sin in the eyes of G-d: Wanton murder of innocents in third world countries to steal their natural resources, or homosexuality?….”

        • Zoe

Mr veteran the greatest sin (rebellion, lawlessness) of all time is unbelief. Every other sin in the world is second. All sin (rebellion, lawlessness) will be judged by a holy God in whom there is no unrighteousness. Unless a person repents of their sin (rebellion, lawlessness) and places their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross as he has taken the penalty for the sins of mankind upon himself and imputed righteousness upon the rebel and then the rebel has become a child of God.
Maybe I can explain it this way. Say you are watching a court case and the defendant is guilty of murder, but the judge lets him go because he promisses never to do it again.. Would you call that judge righteous, or good? I would hope not. God cannot let the guilty go free without the penalty for sin being paid. Now think of this same judge, tells the guilty man you are guilty and the punishement is death. Then he sets his robe aside and comes to the murderer and says I will take the punish for you and you are free to go and sin no more. What now do you think of that judge if you are the murderer? Would you be grateful? That is what God has done for all man through Christ’s death on the cross. You can believe or not it is our choice, but with that great gift of choice you cannot choose the consequences.

          • GV

wow Zoe, 3 loooooong replies. maybe you need to get a hobby.

requiring Jesus to die for us is simply human sacrifice which we condemn in other religions.

it is also the height of arrogance that we think that a “god” must die for us

          • Zoe

Good morning to you sir. I do actually have a hobby, and it isn’t insulting people. You ask a question someone answers and when they tell you something about the Bible you insult. Only very bitter people do these things.

Next when the first man, Adam, sinned (rebelled) against God his creator man spiritually died. God cannot be in the presence of sin or man would be consummed. For God to redeem man there had to be a sacrifice. In the Old Testament God gave the Israelies the institution of the animal sacrifice to atone for sin. Someone had to pay the penalty for the sin man committed, God put in place this system or sacrifice until the fullness of time for the savior to come. When the sinner had to make the sacrifice they would get the picture of how evil sin was and the payment was severe so that man would stop sinning. What you are not seeing in your snide remark is that man didn’t require God to die, but Jesus (who is God in the flesh, a man born of a woman without a human father, perfect like Adam was before he sinned against God) willingly sacrificed himself on he cross so that man could be reconciled to God. It isn’t arrogant suggesting God died for man it’s humbling. The innocent for the guilty. We are all guilty before God. When a person dies the penalit must be paid and if you will not put your faith in the payment that Jesus Christ made, then you have to make the payment. The payment that you will pay is separation from God for eternity in outter darkness, where there will be weeping and nashing of teeth. If that is a penalty you feel you want to pay, go right a head and pay it.

  • Bruce Wayne

Since the topic centers on sexual sin, I have found some interesting general statistics that might amaze those who take interest in Biblical standards.:

The bible defines sexual purity as being a marriage between one man and one women for life.

And today we have billions of people who dispute whether a true God would even make such laws. And yet, the results of lives who have transgressed the biblical bounds are billions of people with any one of several dozen STD’s.

Even our elite, filthy rich people who might afford the best doctors, vaccinations or devices, still seem to suffer the results of STD,s….

Syphillus comes to mind as one that after being thought of as nearly extinct, it is now in a stage which is called drug resistant or nearly unstoppable.

The only way to avoid these seems to remain sexually pure as well as your partner.

God seems to have revealed some important wisdom in this respect.

    • Wkrp

      Why don’t animals get STD’s?

      • GV

they do, koalas can be infected with chlamydia

    • GV

“…The bible defines sexual purity as being a marriage between one man and one women for life….”

just ignore all that polygamy in the Bible

      • Zoe

Mr veteran, polygamy was the practice of the day. The laws that were given were given to govern the sins of the day at that time because Jesus Christ hadn’t come in the flesh yet to indwell the believer so God really did put up with their shortcomings in some areas, but not in others, like adultery (punishment was stoning) even though polygamy is really a form of adultery except that the husband didn’t abandon the wife for another woman so the sin was (the Bible says) winked at until the fullness of time and after Christ died on the cross and rose again all bets were off and God would no longer wink at these sins. He said through the apostle Paul that each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.

        • GV

“…the sin was (the Bible says) winked at….”

wow, you people have an explanation for everything, and yours is more bizarre that usual.

well answer this: why does your “god” NEVER regenerate the limbs of amputees?

          • Zoe

Mr veteran you seem to think that Christianity was made up in someone’s basement. I not sure if you have ever read the Bible or actually heard the story of Christianity except that people are charging you with sin without ever telling where sin originated from. You also seem very bitter. You want christians to explain every jot and tittle to you so that you can come back with these kind of comments to get into arguments with Christians. Maybe you need to get a hobby or you could read the Bible for yourself to see what it actually says. I know that is a long shot seeing how all you want to do is trash it. Maybe to make yourself feel superior to others who don’t agree with the choices you make.
By the way God is not the servant of man nor is he a genie in a bottle that we come to and have him grant our every hearts desire, but that is what it appears that you believe. I eagerly await your next nasty reply.

Being no part of the world, just living in it, as an alien resident, AS WE ARE COMMANDED TO DO by God, means we don’t have to put up with all the immorality and sinning going on in the world. We are happy, and there are 9 million of us. We are those whom God promised to protect in the final battle. We are known as “the great crowd” in the scriptures. Everyone else, God promises, He will exterminate from the face of the Earth. Then there won’t BE any of this sexual immorality, or horrible governments, or pain, or sorrow, or death, or doctors, or police, or the need for them. No laws of man, and none of the consequences of them, since no one would be alive who would ever break them in the first place. A lot of benefits to such a thing. And yes, it’s all real.

The bible tells us to flee fornication because not only do we sin (rebel) against God, but also against ourselves, in other words our own flesh. Oh pleeeaasse give it a rest. Christian are not forcing their religion on anyone. How many news stories have you read with Christian standing behind kneeling unbelievers ready to ececute them for not converting to Christianity? And it is non-Christian that are forcing their views on Christians. Remember the folks who don’t want to support homosexual wedding being sued? How many news stories have you read about Christian’s suing businesses because they didn’t support Christianity? And it is freedom of religion not freedom of worship. Don’t be an Obama dundrhead by reading your own words into the bill of rights.

“…Remember the folks who don’t want to support homosexual wedding being sued?…..”

simple solution, if you don’t want to bake a cake then put a sign on your bakery’s front door saying “we do NOT bake cakes for gays”

        truth in advertising, you know

        • Truthing

There are already signs that read, “This business has the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason.”
Problem is that it is just not true anymore.

          • GV

awwww, what’s wrong, upset people have to serve Blacks, Latinos, Jews…..

          • Truthing

Nope. Upset that Christians are FORCED to “perform services” that go against their conscience.
It’s stupid of you to keep comparing skin color with sexual activities. Skin color is not a choice! Who you decide to play house with IS a choice.

          • GV

a lot of Christians are bigoted against Blacks, so I guess using your “logic” they should be allowed to “perform services”

you know what else IS a choice. your religion, protected by law

          • GV

so sad you’re filled with so much hate

  • David

So was it dishonorable for her to issue marriage license to those that have been divorced? Committed adultery? You can’t have it both ways.

  • eagle keeper

The reason there seems to be a collapse of morals is that people choose to live that lifestyle. Look, every day we wake up we have choices to make. If you have a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ you know how your day is going to unfold. First off, without forgiveness there is no Christianity. So you view the world as a ripe fruit to be picked and helped out of the bondage of sin. Next, if I get placed in a prison for my unwavering belief in the one true God, so be it. I CHOOSE to go to prison and take the Gospel or good news into that dark and sin filled place. I am a Kairos prison ministry called to serve volunteer. Speaking the truth in love isn’t or shouldn’t be offensive to anyone. Telling people that following Satan will lead to an eternity in Hell is our mission. God doesn’t want anyone to go there. But He is a just God too. So unless we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, that is where we will reside forever. Once again, it is all about the choices we make every day.

look Einstein, if you hate Teh Gays so much then move to Saudi Arabia
and seriously, are you a dominionist?

    • Truthing

I don’t hate anybody. On the contrary, I love everyone enough to tell them the Truth when they ask for it, and boy you sure “ask” for it often!
I do however, HATE SIN and it’s awful effects on the unrepentant soul. I have much compassion for those like yourself, who are trapped in such darkness. You are in my prayers.

      • GV

sounds like you have a street corner to pray loudly at.

        think for yourself

after over 100 years the Southern Baptists finally apologized for their treatment of Blacks

I guess we Gays will have to wait another 100 years

    • Truthing

Since when was it a sin to be born black? I was unaware that 100 years after slavery ended, the Southern Baptists were treating blacks badly.?.? Are you sure that you didn’t intend to say, “the Southern Democrats”?
You’re not born “gay”, and everyone has a CHOICE of action.
We all have a CHOICE of whether or not to ACT on our sexual urges. No matter who you are attracted to, you don’t have to act on it, do you? Are you trying to tell me that homosexuals are too weak minded that they don’t have control over what their bodies do?

      • GV

“Since when was it a sin to be born black?….”

        didn’t study history, eh

“…I was unaware that 100 years after slavery ended, the Southern Baptists were treating blacks badly.?.?….”

guess you never heard of Jim Crow laws

“…Are you sure that you didn’t intend to say, “the Southern Democrats”?….”

finally got one right, they were racists

“…You’re not born “gay”, and everyone has a CHOICE of action.
We all have a CHOICE of whether or not to ACT on our sexual urges….”

using your “logic” you could choose to be gay. now try thinking about that

“…No matter who you are attracted to, you don’t have to act on it, do you?….”

ROFLOL, as if the likes of you are going to dictate how I live my life.
boy, I bet you still lust for those sodomy laws

I live near Portland, and can testify that the moral climate here is as bad as you describe. Yesterday we had a small party at work for a gal who is getting married. It’s so bad here I didn’t even want to ask whether she is marrying a guy or a gal (turned out to be a guy). They proposed a toast and asked who there was married–it turned out that of all the people in the room (a couple dozen) there were only TWO, and I was the only one married more than five years. Yes, there were several younger people there, but probably half of us were over 40. Amazing. I assume these couple dozen were representative of Portland society.

You are hard pressed to find a God fearing pastor who will speak the truth or whole counsel of God,no warning of hell eternal damnation only Gods love thus you only have a sickening cotton-candy version sermons. Rev 3:16
