A UN Resolution Setting The Parameters For A Palestinian State Is Still In Play

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Jerusalem Wire Fence - Public DomainBecause nothing happened in the days immediately following the start of the 70th session of the UN General Assembly on September 15th, most people seem to think that we are not going to see a UN resolution formally recognizing a Palestinian state any time soon.  But according to the Jerusalem Post, such a resolution is still very much in play.  France is still very much interested in introducing such a resolution, but they are not going to do it unless they have the support of the United States.  In other words, the fate of a UN resolution setting the parameters for a Palestinian state is in the hands of Barack Obama.

For years, most observers have believed that a Palestinian state would only come into existence through direct negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians.  But negotiations have totally broken down and there does not seem to be any hope that they will resume any time soon.  In a desperate attempt to move the peace process forward, France wants to introduce a new Security Council resolution that would formally recognize a Palestinian state once and for all and set the framework for what a final peace deal would look like.  The following comes from a Jerusalem Post article that was published on September 26th…

The idea behind the French move for a new Security Council resolution is to set internationally agreed parameters for Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. The aim would be to reassure the Palestinians on what a final peace deal might look like and put international pressure on Israel to participate in serious and focused negotiations.

A UN resolution of this kind would bypass the need for consensus between the parties on terms of reference for final peace talks, which is precisely where the American- mediated peace effort broke down in early 2014.

But as I mentioned above, France will not introduce such a resolution unless it is already a done deal.

And the key to it being a done deal is to get the support of the Obama administration.  Here is more from the Jerusalem Post

The French have not yet finally decided on whether to go the Security Council route.

It will depend on the degree of international support, especially American, they have.

Even though 136 nations already recognize a Palestinian state, the U.S. government has always stood in the way of a UN Security Council resolution.  But now that there seems to be little hope of peace talks resuming, Barack Obama is indicating that he may not stand in the way this time around.  The following excerpt comes from a Los Angeles Times article

President Obama took a step toward a tougher line with Israel in an interview released Tuesday, raising the possibility that the U.S. will allow a United Nations vote on issues related to the Palestinians if the two sides make no meaningful movement toward peace.

In an interview with an Israeli television station, Obama noted that his administration has “up until this point” quashed such efforts at the U.N. while insisting that the Israelis and Palestinians must negotiate a resolution. But he said it is a challenge for the U.S. to keep demanding that the Palestinians negotiate in good faith if no one believes the Israelis are doing the same.

“How do we move off what appears right now to be a hopeless situation and move it back towards a hopeful situation?” Obama asked in the interview. “That will require more than just words. That will require some actions. And that’s going to be hard work, though, because right now I think there’s not a lot of confidence in the process.”

So if France does introduce such a resolution, what should we expect it to look like?

Well, the Jerusalem Post is reporting that it would likely look very much like the November 1947 UN General Assembly partition plan…

But if they do, the proposed resolution will likely refer to the November 1947 UN General Assembly partition plan, which called for the establishment of two states, one Jewish and one Arab, and which was jubilantly hailed by the Israeli state-in-themaking at the time. It will also seek to replace the 1967 UN Security Council Resolution 242, which called for land for peace without going into details as the preeminent international document on peacemaking between Israel and the Palestinians.

The proposed resolution will call for two states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace; Jerusalem as the capital of both; borders along the 1967 lines with land swaps; and a satisfactory security package for Israel.

Obviously, surrendering any sovereignty over Jerusalem is something that the Netanyahu government will never, ever agree to.

So if the UN does adopt such a resolution, it will just raise tensions in the region.  The Palestinians will feel legally entitled to east Jerusalem, and Israel will insist that it never agreed to give it up.

In the end, such a situation would inevitably result in war.

Personally, I believe that Barack Obama very much wants to see the establishment of a Palestinian state by the time he leaves office, and I also believe that we will definitely see a Palestinian state recognized by the UN at some point.

But I don’t believe that the “peace” that our global leaders are hoping for will last very long.  In fact, I believe that an unprecedented war is coming to the Middle East.

If Barack Obama decides to go along with the UN resolution that France is pushing, I am convinced that the consequences for us will be absolutely disastrous as well.  Trying to divide the land of Israel is one of the stupidest foreign policy decisions that we could possibly make.

So let us hope that the decision to formally recognize a Palestinian state at the United Nations is put off for as long as possible.

Unfortunately, the man with the power to make this decision is currently residing in the White House, and he doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to making wise choices.

…count on pres. obeyme to push this one hard…and then proclaim, “peace and safety”…we all know the “sudden destruction” part comes closely thereafter…

  • VigilanteCaregiver

The Jews bought the land so many times in history; the last being a deal between Jews in Britain and Churchill’s government. The Jews paid for the land under British control at the time in order for Britain to continue fighting the Axis. It’s theirs.

There are no palestinians: they’re Egyptians and Jordanians. The West Bank is under Jordanian governance and Gaza under Egypt: neither of which will absorb the populace or stop this madness as the refugees there are more valuable as bullet fodder (between Hamas and Fatah – only from Israel if they attack the Jews first), impoverished masses, and terrorists. Those people in Gaza and West Bank that are stuck there between everyone’s politics deserve our prayers and sustainable aid. The terrorists and politicos deserve a swift knee in the #$%&’s!!!!

    • iris

Bingo! And you know it’s satanic, that of all the countries in the world, only Israel is the bad guy for wanting to protect its people and borders and conducting counter measures when their civilians are attacked or killed. They face bombs and the threat of bombs every day. No other nation on earth would have been this patient. Israel has helped the refugees much more than Egypt and Jordan combined.

      • shots = autism

“No other nation on earth would have been this patient.” Yes they would if they had as many enemies as the Jews do. The Jews have to stay calm and not use aggressive military force when they’re attacked because so many hate them it would stir up a hornet’s nest.

        • iris

Yes, they’re between a rock and a hard place. For all the “Land for Peace” deals and other appeasements they’ve offered, all that’s done is that it’s egged the jihadists on, because they have seen it as a sign of weakness to be taken advantage of. These nations have sworn Israel’s annihilation since 1947. Without the fact that God has and will come to their defense, there would be no hope.

          • shots = autism

They need another iron dome, some CIWSs, lasers, and so on.

No foreign entanglements. Fine – stop acting like a foreigner and obey the Constitution: no homosexual marriage, no tyrannical bureaucracies, no pensions for fed employees.

Bring troops home: after they secured the gains made. But you prefer mass murder – especially of your own countrymen still unborn.

Seal the borders: you’ve supported illegals invading us, hypocrite.

Rebuild America: good – you and your lot leaves first so we can actually rebuild. Without leftists we can follow the Constitution as written.

And I never called for welfare to go to Israel. The refugees forced into gaza and west bank used for politics, I did. LDS Humanitarian Aid already sent and sending more assistance to them.

Try reading for once, troll. Your cut-and-paste slogans don’t work for everything.

        • Gay Veteran

“No foreign entanglements. Fine – stop acting like a foreigner and obey the Constitution: no homosexual marriage….”

          WOW, what a stretch.
1955: hey you interracial couples, obey the Constitution, no interracial marriage

“Bring troops home: after they secured the gains made….”

WHAT GAINS? We haven’t won a war since World War II. oh, I forgot Grenada.

“…But you prefer mass murder – especially of your own countrymen still unborn….”

F-ing HYPOCRITE! you are one still supporting our war of aggression against Iraq.

“…Seal the borders: you’ve supported illegals invading us, hypocrite….’

again, you are a PATHOLOGICAL LIAR, I have never support illegal immigration.

“…Rebuild America: good – you and your lot leaves first so we can actually rebuild. Without leftists we can follow the Constitution as written….”

yeah, so you interpret it to mean that even MARRIED couples can be denied contraception. Ayatollah wannabe!

Try reading for once, troll. Your cut-and-paste slogans don’t work for everything.

          • VigilanteCaregiver

We already talked about the interracial couples red herring you constantly droll out. That was illegally declared by the government when they created the marriage licensing tax (along with marrying a disabled person – I broke that one!). Interracial marriages are and always were legit as race only comes down to a few genetic traits – only 0.02% of a person’s genome. These genes, according to actual scientists, only create differences between people with aesthetics and pigmentation. Opposite homosexuality, these traits are not the decision of the individual – discrimination based on such frivolousness is asinine and should’ve become taboo by now. The only reason it hasn’t is you and the other radical usurpers accuse others of racism probably to hide your own racism. And marriage should never had become a taxed action – it’s a religious rite. This was the original definition of marriage. And since the government intruded on religion to control marriage rites, it violated the 1st Amendment – and established itself as a church. So, for the government to again violate the 1st, 9th, and 10th Amendments to create homosexual marriage just proves my theories.

And yes, secure the gains made. It’s obvious you never were in the ROTC. Military’s job to bust up the enemy. That means we don’t hand anything back until after enforceable treaties are signed and reconciliation made. That’s Military 101 stuff.

The Iraq war was a completely legitimate war. Saddam constantly violate UN sanctions, treaties, and committed genocide against the Kurds. Spinning it into “Bush’s War” goes against the evidence. The problem came when your lot backed Obama pulling out before securing the gains made and without enforceable treaties – handing it all over to the terrorists with an apology. And you have supported the genocide of your own countrymen – today it’s around 70 million. That’s 70 million souls now dead. Not fetuses – humans in the fetal stage of development. The German National Socialists only killed 20 million. Congrats – you’re lot scored higher than them!

That contraception thing is all in your twisted head. Your own fears projected. Please follow this for once, you lunatic: the US Constitution greatly limits the Feds to certain and minimal roles. The States have greater power than the Fed within their state borders via their own State Constitutions. The States are also limited in their power. Next comes the local governments that hold their own authority granted by the citizens who reside there. That is not being an Ayatollah – I don’t have nor want that power. From your own writings; you lust for that kind of authority. I already have rights granted by my God, enshrined in the founding documents that declares government officials – elected or magistrate, may not usurp them.

I don’t need to cut-and-paste. Unlike you troll I thoroughly examine and test my ideas rather than wait for others in deviant media to tell me what to say. You’re ideology and all you’ve built up to harm people is collapsing. You can’t survive.

          • Gay Veteran

“…Interracial marriages are and always were legit as race only comes down to a few genetic traits – only 0.02% of a person’s genome….”

Legit? Interracial marriages were outlawed in many state before 1967. So a lot of fundamentalist Christians obviously did NOT consider them legit.

“…And since the government intruded on religion to control marriage rites, it violated the 1st Amendment – and established itself as a church. So, for the government to again violate the 1st, 9th, and 10th Amendments to create homosexual marriage just proves my theories….”

Hey Einstein, the government does not control religious marriage rites. And I love how you like to list Amendments without mentioning the 14th Amendment which was the basis for the Surpreme Court to overrule state laws against interracial marriage and marriage between gays.

“…And yes, secure the gains made. It’s obvious you never were in the ROTC. Military’s job to bust up the enemy. That means we don’t hand anything back until after enforceable treaties are signed and reconciliation made. That’s Military 101 stuff….”

WHAT GAINS??? We’ve been in Afghanistan for over 14 years!

and “we don’t hand anything back”? You posting from Afghanistan? No? then STFU

“…The Iraq war was a completely legitimate war. Saddam constantly violate UN sanctions, treaties, and committed genocide against the Kurds….”

Only a fool or a psychopath continues to justify our war of aggression against Iraq with the consequence of over a MILLION dead Iraqis.

“…The problem came when your lot backed Obama pulling out before securing the gains made and without enforceable treaties – handing it all over to the terrorists with an apology….”

wow, what a retard you are, you chicken hawk. secure the “gains”? HOW? by permanently having 1000s of troops in Afghanistan and Iraq???

and terrorists? hey Einstein, the civilians who fought against us in Afghanistan and Iraq are PATRIOTS who refuse to tolerate a foreign army in THEIR countries!

          • VigilanteCaregiver

You didn’t refute my arguments – only ranted again, troll. Try again.

          • Gay Veteran

“You didn’t refute my arguments – only ranted again….”

let me translate from your troll-speak:

            arguments I can’t rebut = rant

          • VigilanteCaregiver

Have you ever been tested for a personality disorder?

          • Gay Veteran

oh my, using those Alinsky tactics again

          • Gay Veteran

“…And you have supported the genocide of your own countrymen – today it’s around 70 million. That’s 70 million souls now dead. Not fetuses – humans in the fetal stage of development….”

well at least this time we didn’t LIE and say I supported all of what Planned Parenthood does.

and sorry, you don’t get to use the power of the state to impose your religious views on everybody else

“…That contraception thing is all in your twisted head. Your own fears projected….”

hey junior, some states opposed contraception so much they tried to prevent MARRIED couples from using it. Guess you never heard of Griswold v. Connecticut!

“Griswold v. Connecticut, 381 U.S. 479 (1965),[1] is a landmark case in the United States in which the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the Constitution protected a right to privacy. The case involved a Connecticut “Comstock law” that prohibited any person from using “any drug, medicinal article or instrument for the purpose of preventing conception.” By a vote of 7–2, the Supreme Court invalidated the law on the grounds that it violated the “right to marital privacy”, establishing the basis for the right to privacy with respect to intimate practices. This and other cases view the right to privacy as a right to “protect[ion] from governmental intrusion.”…”

“…Unlike you troll I thoroughly examine and test my ideas rather than wait for others in deviant media to tell me what to say….”

ROFLOL, yeah, you just use the Book of Mormon

“…You’re ideology and all you’ve built up to harm people is collapsing. You can’t survive.”

            project much?

          • VigilanteCaregiver

How many times do I need to remind you, troll? The Supreme Court doesn’t have the authority to create laws. This also means the courts cannot disregard or strike down laws, either. That’s not in the Constitution. Period.

No matter how many times your delude yourself into thinking this way, the rest of us prefer to work with the actual law and governance of the land.

I stand by my other statements.

          • Gay Veteran

so using your “logic” then the Supreme Court improperly overturned all the anti-interracial marriage laws.

good to know where you’re coming from.

guess you never heard of Marbury v. Madison, (1803).
The Supreme Court has exercised the power to overturn UNconstitutional laws for over 212 years. If Congress (supposedly the representatives of the people) objects then Congress can pass a constitutional amendment. How’s that going? or is it going at all???

          • VigilanteCaregiver

Marbury V. Madison was itself illegal and illegitimate. The Supreme Court never had jurisdiction to grant itself that authority – only Congress can grant whether the court can perform judicial review via Constitutional Amendment.

Have your ever actually read the Constitution?

          • Gay Veteran

            can you read?

The Supreme Court has exercised the power to overturn UNconstitutional laws for over 212 years. If Congress (supposedly the representatives of the people) objects then Congress can pass a constitutional amendment. How’s that going? or is it going at all???

          obey the 14th Amendment

“…Bring troops home: after they secured the gains made. But you prefer mass murder – especially of your own countrymen still unborn….”

WHAT gains??? mass murder? you mean the war crimes YOU support.
unborn? man you love controlling those women

“…Seal the borders: you’ve supported illegals invading us, hypocrite….

I knew you couldn’t finish your post without LYING. or do you not understand that sealing the borders would help to prevent illegal immigration?

“…Rebuild America: good – you and your lot leaves first so we can actually rebuild. Without leftists we can follow the Constitution as written….”

yeah, let’s roll back civil rights a few centuries, like the right of MARRIED couples to buy contraceptives

          • VigilanteCaregiver

Seriously, I really do care less and less about your spin and fabrications.

I stand by my statements. And will also include that you did back the Planned Parenthood genocide. Remember your constantly repeated “How many unwanted babies have you adopted” line? Anyone who called for adoptions got this from you. Inciting that if we didn’t immediately spend upwards of $80,000 USD to save these children today, they’d be aborted for $450 pre-taxpayer subsidy; and we’re all hypocrites by your standards.

You want mass murder. If you didn’t; then why the constant slogan?

          • Gay Veteran

yet more proof you are a PATHOLOGICAL LIAR

“The Jews bought the land so many times in history; the last being a deal between Jews in Britain and Churchill’s government”

That’s just like saying that someone bought France from Germany in 1943.

      • VigilanteCaregiver

It’s not. Churchill met with the Jews living in Britain and made a legitimate exchange. We reclaimed France for the French from the Germans in 1945 by paying with the blood of many Americans and allies. The Vichy Government is like today’s left; willing to turn over their lives and others liberty for some narcissistic supply.

Just more of the constant march of evil. Sadly, it is only the smallest percentage of people who seem capable of seeing it.

There is something in that picture of Jerusalem which proves the truth of the Holy Bible. Did you see it?

When you look at that picture, what do you see?
Well, there’s the muslim Dome of the Rock, there’s the ancient wall around Jerusalem, and some barbed wire close to the camera.

    Look again.

Built into Jerusalem’s wall, to the right of the muslim dome, is a structure known as the Eastern Gate. That gate has been closed since ancient times. God has decreed that because Christ entered Jerusalem through it, it will not be opened until Christ enters through it when he returns to earth.

There have been attempts to open that gate. All have failed.
Dynamite could not open Jerusalem’s Eastern Gate.
A nuclear bomb could not blast it open.
Only Jesus Christ can open it.

    – Ezekiel 44:1-3 –
Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut.
2 Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.
3 It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.

    • G21

The muslim Dome of the Rock, pictured here, is also mentioned in the Bible.
Again in the Book of Ezekiel, instructions for the rebuilding of the Temple are given. Of course, the muslim Dome of the Rock now occupies the site where the Temple of God should be.

      – Ezekiel 42:20 –
He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.

      See it?
When the Temple is rebuilt, it will be next to something which the Bible calls “the profane place”. A wall will be built “to make a separation”.

By this we know that a “Palestinian State” is indeed coming, and Jerusalem will be divided. The third Temple will be built on Mt. Zion, with a wall between it and the Dome of the Rock.

God gave that land to the Jews, that they might serve Him there.
Dividing it will be a great sin.

      • HumbleAmerican

I’ve said for the past few years, the deal will include the rebuilding of the Temple. This jewish year 5776, you will see it being built, and people from all over the world will help build it with their own hands.

        • Sam

They will attempt to build the Temple to welcome the Messiah – a one-eyed man who claim to be a prophet than God. This man will be followed by thousands of jews from Iran. He will rule over the world for a while until Jesus comes and kills him.

      • Shane

Interesting conclusion. The Dome of Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque are surely profane (to Jews and Christians alike) but to say that God was referring to the mosques as ‘the profane place’ in Ezekiel is somewhat conjectural, but notable! We will have to see what comes of it all… I agree dividing the land will be a great sin.

      • iris

        Very insightful, thanks!

That gate is a comparison for our braindefect wich is called Corpus Callosum and litteraly ”Calcified Body”. This barrier in our brain will open again when we die or blow out our last breath. Then we see all our former lives passing by with the speed of light in reverse and wich will clear our tensions who were’re made by this braindefect.
This way everyone is and will be cleaned from emotions wich also where explained in comparisons as sins.

      • Blargh

“This barrier in our brain will open again when we die or blow out our last breath. Then we see all our former lives passing by”
        How does that work then?

        • Pascal van der Heijden

You do know that when you die your hart stops pumping and your lungs stops breathing ? This way the electrical sygnals in your body also stops. This tensions are voltages and this voltages keep the calcification in the axons high. I thought that this was called ca++ but don’t know. You can research that and do an amazing ”dis-covery”…. wouldn’t that be nice ?

    • ??

Do you see a hole or a door in it?

  • DJohn1

It will be promoted as “Peace in our Time” between the Palestines and the Jews.
Now where have we heard that tale before? (Will Chamberlain, 1937).
The value of this property is in the belief that this is the only place on the planet where direct communication with God(the creator, the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end of all things) occurs in this reality. This is the belief that is stirring up all the trouble.
To do so they(meaning whomever owns it) invoke the ancient practice of the sacrifice of an innocent lamb. From that practice, they are able to summon the ultimate God of all creation. Again, this is the belief of the people on both sides of the argument as to who owns this particular spot on the planet.
Personally, if it be true, then someone is very foolish indeed. For to summon such a being the entire planet is put at risk.
We are not talking about a gentle, forgiving being here. We are talking about the third member of the trinity. We are talking about the Holy Spirit being brought forth, the one described most often in the old testament of Moses. This being is not a human being at all.
And that also is noted several times in the old testament.
This being is the one that judged the Earth Evil and destroyed it in a great flood.
To summon . . . what does that actually mean? Unless one knows the rules one is likely to get destroyed in the process. And several people in the old testament that did not take this seriously enough were destroyed in the temple. Two sons of a priest were drunk in the temple and were destroyed.
    1. Rule number one is not to look at the face of God. To do so means instant death.
    2. Is to respect the enormous power you are in communication with. And how does one communicate with ancient powerful being? Do they expect it to be fluent in all language? Probably so, but do not assume anything.
    3. Approach that God with cleanliness to an extreme. To do otherwise is to be disrespectful and will cause your destruction.
All of which assumes that the rules of the Old Testament laid down in the books of Moses still apply.
To open this gate between is to me extremely foolish.
Anyone that does must be innocent and clean of all wrong doing.
    One must be

    p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 120%; }

    circumcision

I could be wrong about it all. It is guesswork on my part based on reading the Jewish Old Testament.

    • Shane

Hey John, you seem to be a little off with your understanding, when Jesus the Christ–who was prophesied in the Torah and by the prophets–died at the cross, the veil of the temple was rent, this was symbolic that no longer do the jews need to access the holy of holies via the Levitcal high priest but that now all jews and gentiles alike can have access through Christ now to God, as He was the sacrificial lamb, and now as Christ as our high Priest we may go directly to the ‘holy of holies’ where God the Father resides, in Jesus name.

    Article 13 of Hamas Charter:
“The Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement.”
“There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors.”

How do you negotiate peace or co-exist with an organization and a people who have sworn to wipe you off the face of the earth?
If the UN resolution passes, this will be the catalyst for world war 3.
God will not deal kindly with those who have divided His land.

The scripture is clear on the result of splitting the land of Israel – Almighty God’s land –
Zech 12:3 – “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” (KJV)
If America goes along with the France-initiated plan will America be cut in pieces by the Lord?

    What do you think?

    • John Noyb

Absolutely – without a doubt. We’re not to be found in the end times scenario any where. Something is going to happen to take us out of the picture – sooner rather than later I’m guessing the way things are falling into place.

        Revelation 18 = America.

        • John Noyb

          That’s a definate possibility!

    • afchief

“If America goes along with the France-initiated plan will America be cut in pieces by the Lord?”

There you go with that “judgement” thing again!!! You have absolutely no scripture to base this on. You are “speculating”! You do not know God’s heart. God’s heart is just the opposite.

      • http://www.themadjewess.net/ The Mad Jewess

God IS a God of righteous judgment.
America has murdered over 55 mil babies.
        Now has ‘gay’ marriage.
Are you trying to say that God will let evil just ‘go?’

What is wrong w/ judgment from GOD?
He is allowing America to be hit w/ one natural disaster after the next.

Judgement comes after we leave this earth Hebrews 9:27. God does not judge like He did in the Old Testament.

The judgements in Revelation are for the people who take the mark of the beast and most likely the church will not be here.

We are under Grace now and not the law. God does not judge like He did in the OT. Today we reap what we sow!!! Like I said, judgement comes after people leave this earth, not before.

            Read John 3:17

          • http://www.themadjewess.net/ The Mad Jewess

Nope, God STILL juges nations, collectively.

Then prove to me God has judged a nation. Prove that his Bride heard from heaven that God was judging a certain people.

Don’t tell me natural disasters are judgement, because you CANNOT prove it.

Do not tell me people like Hitler arising and killing 6 million Jews is judgement on the Jews, because you CANNOT prove it.

Besides it violates the Word of God!!! Like I told you, read John 3:17 which states Jesus did not come to judge, but to save.

You do not understand God’s heart. God is love and is patient to all mankind. His heart is not judgement. His heart is Grace!. Some people may come to Christ at an early age. Some in their old age on their death bed. Should God have judged that sinner back when he was a young man who did all kinds of evil things? Paul said this life is but a vapor compared to eternity. Think about it. God wants all to have a chance to come to him. He know we will sin. Every man and woman on this earth deserves judgement. But God is waiting until we leave this earth. He is love and He is patient.

There is absolutely NO way you can prove judgement. NONE!

Are you telling me God judges the righteous with the unrighteous? That goes against His word also.

What about the man who develops cancer? Is he being judged?
What about the person who has a heart attack? Is he being judged?
Why have the Muslim nations been around 1600 years with their evil religion? Why have they not been judged? Why have people been lying for 2000 years and not judged? Is homosexuality a worse sin than lying?

You are another person who is stuck in the Law and has no understanding of God’s heart and Grace. I would advice you to seek God on this issue.

      But not on Israel’s land.

      • Jim Davis

Israel’s land? Whose land? You means those terrorists that have brainwashed so many dumb evangy goyim into believing they are the biblical “Jews”.?

    • John Noyb

Isn’t it odd that no other Arab nation has offered to give up any territory to form a Palestinian nation – but the pressure is on Israel to do so?? One of the smallest nations in the area compared to all the surrounding Arab countries! There is a reason the other Arab nations don’t want to give up land for the formation of a Palestinian onclave – but everyone thinks it is incumbent upon Israel to do so. Sorry – but it’s not gonna happen.

      • iris

Yep. The refugees are merely pawns of the nations they originated from, meant to foment hatred for and vilification of Israel. In 1947, the Arab nations surrounding Israel told all Muslims living in the area, to flee, since they were planning on annihilating Israel by the time they became a state, in fact, war broke out against Israel the day after statehood in May, 1948. Those nations had vowed that they wouldn’t be held responsible for the spilled blood of their brothers, if they refused to go. And 67 years later, they won’t receive their own back. The original refugees heeded the warning. Those Muslims living in Israel know darn well they have more freedom and opportunity in Israel compared to anywhere else in the ME, especially the women.

  • Robert

I do not understand this love affair with Israel based on a single scripture from the OT–“bless them/curse them”. Israel is God’s problem and not the church except as interpreted by very fundy Protestants. Israel is anti-Christian and disallows any open evangelization. Most Israelites despise Americans and more particularly Christian ones. I say stand back and watch what God does with them. He does not need our help. Israel will cut American throats in a second if they felt it was in their interest. Israel is Israel and the church is the church. Two separate entities in scripture.

    • G21

Many, many, MANY more scriptures than that.

Besides, even if that was the only one, is that not enough for you? Who are you to decide how many times God must say something?

    • John Noyb

Robert – like G21 stated – there are many more scriptures throughout the Bible regarding this. They are the “apple of God’s eye” – His chosen people – we are instructed to “pray for the peace of Jersalem”. If they are that important to our Great God and Redeemer – why should they NOT be impotant to His sons and daughters? Why should His sons and daughters not love whom He loves? I suppose that would make a huge number of us “very fundy Protestants” if we follow the leading and instructions in God’s Word. Don’t miss out on God’s blessings by demonizing Israel.

    • iris

I agree with John N. and G21, Robert. If you read Romans, chapter 11, you’ll see that Israel is blinded in part, for now, emphasis put on temporary, by Paul, himself an observant Jew, as were all of the original disciples and evangelists. He admonishes believers to have mercy on unbelieving Israel, and that doing so will further their salvation. In that same general area of Romans which addresses Israel, we’re also to show respect and appreciation for Israel, as Gentile believers have been grafted in to Israel. I agree with what you said above, the Church has not replaced Israel. Paul was a very intelligent, very educated man, and was extremely careful with his words. Although he said that for now, Israel is against the gospel as a nation, there will come a day when the whole nation will come to faith in Jesus as Messiah. There is an excellent website called imetmessiah, which approaches the gospel from a Jewish perspective, written by Jews for Jews, if you’re interested. And you’re right, God doesn’t need our help, but we can receive blessing from Him by showing love, mercy and sharing the gospel of Yeshua of Bethlehem with Jews. (:

      • GoldenGirl

As always, a very sound, thoughtful comment.

        • iris

Thanks, GG! I’m a Messianic Jew. It’s a strange place to be for now, as some Gentile believers who don’t understand the extreme Jewishness of Christianity, view us as weird, and many Jews view us as having left faith in God, although I’ve felt more Jewish and thankful for Judaism, after having been found in Israel’s Messiah. But God says believers are a peculiar people and that we are strangers in a strange land. I love my Jewish and Gentile brothers and sisters in Yeshua. My hope is in the God of Israel, and He has given me His love for others, believer and non believer. I want to love Him with all my heart and love my neighbor as myself, and I know He’s working in my heart and life. Praise the LORD!

          • GoldenGirl

All of this shows in your comments, Iris! “The extreme Jewishness of Christianity “~ Yes! From your Gentile sister in Yeshua, your words are so eloquent and a joy to read.
