Halloween Is The Biggest Day Of The Year For The Fastest Growing Religion In America

Halloween Pumpkin - Public DomainIf you are a witch, Halloween is not just another holiday.  For Wiccans, the festival known as “Samhain” is the time when the veil between the living and the dead is the thinnest, and so communication with the other side is the easiest.  And as you will see below, it is also the time “when the god dies, to be reborn again on the Winter Solstice”.  Many Americans are still very unfamiliar with Wicca, but the truth is that it is rapidly growing in popularity.  In fact, it has been projected that Wicca will soon become the third largest “religion” in America after Christianity and Islam.  According to the American Religious Identification Survey, the number of self-identified Wiccans in the United States grew from 8,000 in 1990 to 134,000 in 2001 to 342,000 in 2008.  The New York Post recently ran an article which stated that some experts have estimated that the number of witches in the U.S. is doubling every 30 months, and that there may now be “8 million undeclared practitioners” of “the craft” in this country. In New York, Pope Francis Embraced Chrislam And Laid A Foundation For A One World Religion

Pope Francis - Public DomainRemarks made by Pope Francis at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan have sparked a firestorm of criticism from those that do not believe that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.  Many have taken the Pope’s remarks as a major step in the direction of a one world religion, and the truth is that the Pope has made other such statements in the past.  In recent years, the theory that Christianity and Islam are just two distinct paths to God among many others has rapidly gained traction all over the planet.  Some religious leaders have even gone so far as to try to merge Islamic and Christian practices, and the term “Chrislam” is now often used to describe this ecumenical movement.  If all this sounds incredibly strange to you, just keep reading, because this is just the tip of the iceberg. From This Point Forward, Christians Are Going To Be Banned From Holding Many Jobs In America

Unacceptable - Public DomainChristianity is being criminalized in the United States.  No, I am not talking about the kind of Christianity that is so prevalent in America today where “Christians” just ignore what the Bible says and do whatever they wanted to do in the first place anyway.  Rather, I am talking about the kind of faith that Kim Davis has demonstrated.  Christians all over this country are being put into positions where they must choose to either submit to the “new morality” or potentially lose their jobs.  For Kim Davis, deciding to take a stand meant that she was thrown into prison.  The radical judge that threw her into prison has said that she will stay there until she is willing to change her mind. The Persecution Of Christians Is Intensifying As Anti-Christian Hatred Sweeps The Entire World

Earth Space Planet World - Public DomainThere is very little that the entire world seems to agree upon, but there is one very frightening trend that is now taking hold literally all over the globe. A passionate hatred of Christianity is sweeping across the planet, and very few global leaders have been willing to step forward and speak out against this rising persecution of Christians. In many parts of the Middle East, Africa and Asia, believers are being relentlessly attacked by extremists, churches are being destroyed, and laws are being passed to try to prevent the spread of the Christian faith. In some areas, the violence has become so extreme that Christians knowingly risk their own lives just to go to church services each week. Would you risk your life to go to church? In North America and Europe, the persecution is often more subtle. Even though violent attacks are still fairly rare, Christian beliefs are being undermined by new laws, comedians and television shows regularly mock the Christian faith, and many employers will immediately mentally disqualify a potential candidate for a job if they discover that an individual is a Bible-believing Christian. Sadly, this is just the beginning. In the years ahead, those that choose to be followers of Jesus Christ will face even greater persecution than we have seen already. (Read More...)

‘The Time Is Coming That Whoever Kills You Will Think That He Is Offering A Service To God’

Jihadists - Photo by MagharebiaHow do you deal with psychotic religious warriors that believe that they are offering a service to God by killing Christians?  Ever since 9/11, we were endlessly told about what a great threat “al-Qaeda” was, but I don’t remember a single time when al-Qaeda ever marched a group of Christians out and beheaded them on camera.  ISIS appears to be an entirely different animal than al-Qaeda ever was, and it is about time that we started taking them seriously.  But the Obama administration is actually allowing Americans that went overseas to fight for ISIS to come back into the country and resume their normal lives.  To me, that is absolutely insane.  These are people that believe that they score major points with their god when they kill us.  And they especially seem to relish the opportunity to kill Christians.  Sadly, this is all part of a rising trend of Christian persecution all over the planet.  Christian churches are being burned to the ground in places such as Egypt, India and West Africa, and earlier this month we witnessed a horrific incident during which more than a hundred Christians were mercilessly gunned down in Kenya.  It is becoming increasingly dangerous to be a Christian, and it is only going to get worse in the years ahead. Christians Are Being Systematically Purged From The U.S. Military

Soldier - Public DomainIf you are a Bible-believing Christian, there is no place for you in Barack Obama’s version of the U.S. military.  Christian service members all over the nation are being disciplined for reading their Bibles, talking about their faith publicly and encouraging others to live a moral lifestyle.  And just saying the name of “Jesus” at the wrong place or the wrong time while serving in the military is enough to spark a national controversy.  We live at a time when political correctness in America is wildly out of control, and thanks to Obama the U.S. military has become one of the most politically correct institutions in our society.  Things have gotten so bad that dozens of top officers that did not agree with Obama’s views have been forced out of the military in recent years.  The U.S. military is being transformed into an overtly anti-Christian institution, and for those of us that are Christians that is a very chilling development. ISIS Is Painting The Middle East Red With The Blood Of Christians

Bloody Handprint - Public DomainEvery day now, there are fresh news stories about Christians being slaughtered by ISIS in the Middle East.  So where is the outrage from the White House?  Where is the outrage from the Islamic world?  If Islam truly was a “religion of peace”, prominent Islamic leaders all over the globe would be loudly condemning ISIS whenever another slaughter of Christians took place.  And a White House statement about the beheading of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians by ISIS the other day did not have the word “Christian” in it a single time.  ISIS is painting the Middle East red with the blood of Christians, and most of the world seems to care very, very little.  If thousands of people from some politically-favored group or religion were being savagely killed, the outcry would be deafening.  But because Christians are being killed, it is not such a big deal.  So exactly what does that say about how the world views Christians in 2015? Pope Francis And Shimon Peres Discuss The Establishment Of A ‘United Nations Of Religions’

Pope Francis - Photo by Edgar JimenezLast Thursday, Pope Francis and former Israeli President Shimon Peres met for an extended 45 minute private conversation.  The focus of this discussion was a proposal by Peres to establish a “United Nations of Religions”.  It was the third meeting between the two men in a little more than four months.  As you will see below, Pope Francis showed “his interest, attention, and encouragement” as Peres explained his proposal.  Of course Pope Francis didn’t commit to anything, and we probably will not see a “United Nations of Religions” any time soon, but every idea has to start somewhere.  If Pope Francis does ultimately decide to actively push for such a thing, could we eventually see a single global body that claims to represent all of the religions of the world?
