UN Rejects Israel’s Claim To The Golan Heights As Top Rabbis Await The Messiah’s Imminent Arrival

Golan Heights - Photo by EsclaThe UN Security Council has unanimously rejected Israel’s claim to sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and this is likely to cause tensions in the Middle East to rise even higher.  On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu boldly declared “that the Golan Heights will remain under Israel’s sovereignty permanently.”  After close to 50 years of control over the Golan Heights, this should not have been much of a shock.  But the Arab world immediately went into an uproar, and the UN Security Council has taken action.  In a unanimous decision, the UN Security Council has announced that Israel’s claims to the Golan Heights are “null and void and without international legal effect.” (Read More...)

Easter Suicide Bombing A Preview Of The Persecution Christians Will Face During The Tribulation?

Death Abstract - Public DomainAt least 65 people were killed and at least 300 were injured when an Islamic suicide bomber targeted a group of Christians that were celebrating Easter in a park in Lahore, Pakistan on Sunday.  Photographs and videos from the scene show bodies that are absolutely covered in blood and that are mangled beyond description.  To be honest, many of them are so graphic that I would not feel comfortable sharing them with my readers.  This brutal attack comes right on the heels of the horrific terror bombings in Brussels, Belgium, and it appears that we have entered a period of time when there will be a feeding frenzy of Islamic terrorism.  According to Wikipedia, there have been 96 such terror attacks since the start of 2016 alone, and this is already shaping up to be a record setting year for Islamic terror.  But of course this is just the beginning.  What we will see in the months and years to come will be far worse.  In fact, attacks like the one that we witnessed on Easter are just a very small preview of the persecution that Christians will experience during the coming Tribulation period. Nuclear War With North Korea Coming?

North Korea Is CrazyOn Sunday, North Korea warned the United States that it could wipe out Manhattan with a single hydrogen bomb, and earlier this month North Korea threatened to make a “preemptive and offensive nuclear strike” on the United States in response to aggressive military exercises currently being jointly conducted by South Korea and the U.S. military.  So does nuclear war with North Korea actually pose a significant security risk to this country?  Well, according to the Washington Post the entire west coast of the United States is within reach of North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missiles.  The only question is whether or not North Korea’s ultra-paranoid leader Kim Jong Un would ever actually press the button. Obama Administration: A UN Resolution That Would Divide Israel And Jerusalem Is Back In Play

Barack Obama Addresses The UN General Assembly - White House PhotoAccording to the Wall Street Journal, the White House is considering drastic measures to reboot the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.  Among those measures is a UN Security Council resolution that would set the parameters for a two state solution and that would recognize East Jerusalem as the official capital of a Palestinian state.  If Barack Obama makes this move, it will almost certainly be before the election in November.  I had previously reported that France was ready to introduce a similar UN Security Council resolution back in September, but at that time the French backed off because they did not have full support from the Obama administration.  But now that Obama is approaching the end of his term, he suddenly seems more willing to make a bold move. Why Threaten North Korea And China? Would Obama Start A War To Stay In Office?

Obama In The Oval Office - Public DomainIs Barack Obama trying to start a war, and will that war be used as an excuse to stay in office once his term is over?  Late in his second term, Obama is starting to become extremely aggressive with the rest of the world.  He just angered China by sailing an aircraft carrier task force past disputed islands in the South China Sea, he is provoking North Korea by simulating an invasion of that nation during a military exercise that is going to involve more than 300,000 troops, and he is backing Saudi Arabia and Turkey as they make moves that could very well start World War III in the Middle East.  If a war did begin, that could give Obama the excuse that he needs to exercise his emergency powers, and that could potentially include suspending the election that is scheduled for November. 49 Countries Met In Brussels Earlier This Month To Discuss A Ground Invasion Of Syria

War 2016 - Public DomainHave the U.S government, Saudi Arabia and their allies been secretly plotting a massive ground invasion of Syria?  Earlier this month, defense ministers from 49 countries gathered at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium to talk about what to do in Syria.  As you will see below, Saudi Arabia’s defense minister is now admitting that a ground invasion was discussed at this meeting.  Of course the goal of any invasion would be regime change in Syria, and that is something that the Syrian army, Iran, Hezbollah and Russia are simply not going to allow.  So what the U.S. government, Saudi Arabia and their allies are contemplating could literally be the spark that sets off World War III. Turkey Is Asking The United States To Take Part In A Ground Invasion Of Syria

Middle East MapReuters is reporting that Turkey is asking the United States and other western allies to participate in a massive ground invasion of Syria.  But of course the Turks are not exactly sitting around and waiting for their western allies to get on board.  Turkey shelled northern Syria for a fourth consecutive day on Tuesday, even though the Obama administration has been asking them to stop.  The targets were Kurdish and Syrian military positions, and the goal appears to be to slow down their advance toward the Turkish border.  The Sunni militants that Turkey has been supporting for five years are now being completely routed, and Turkey is in a great deal of panic about this. World War III Starts In The Middle East? Saudi Arabia And Turkey Consider A Ground Invasion Of Syria

Skull War - Public DomainAre Saudi Arabia and Turkey about to send ground troops into Syria?  If so, how will Russia, Iran and the Syrian government respond?  In 2016, Syria has become ground zero for a conflict that has been raging for centuries.  For more than a thousand years, the Sunnis and the Shiites have been wrestling with one another for control of the Middle East.  Saudi Arabia, Turkey and other Sunni nations had hoped to turn Syria into a Sunni nation, and for years they have been funding and arming ISIS and other Sunni insurgent groups in an attempt to overthrow the Assad regime.  Initially the Assad regime was losing quite a bit of ground, but the tide turned once the Syrians invited the Russians and the Iranians to help them.  Of course the Iranians have their own long-term goals.  Once Assad leaves power, the Iranians hope to turn Syria into a truly Shiite nation that is run and dominated by Hezbollah.  At this moment, the Sunnis and losing and the Shiites are winning.  Relentless Russian airstrikes have enabled Syrian, Iranian and Hezbollah ground forces to advance, and now they have surrounded Aleppo.  Before the war Aleppo was the largest city in Syria, and if it falls, the war will be very close to over.
