I feel really bad for the Taiwanese people.  Thanks to the recklessness of Nancy Pelosi, China has decided to become much more aggressive.  Until Sunday, a series of extremely alarming “live-fire drills” in the waters surrounding Taiwan will essentially cut off much of the normal maritime and air traffic that reaches the island.  And it is being reported that during these “exercises” China actually plans to fire missiles over Taiwan for the very first time.  Needless to say, much of the Taiwanese population will become greatly alarmed when they see missiles flying overhead.  Taiwan is heavily dependent on imported food, and China is demonstrating very clearly that they can completely cut off the island from all resources if they are crossed again. Chinese forces are gathering directly across from the Kinmen Islands.  Those islands are currently controlled by Taiwan, and China may be preparing a move to grab them.  If China actually does such a thing, all hell could break loose.  Taiwan could potentially start launching missiles at any Chinese units that try to invade the Kinmen Islands, and if that happens the Chinese would inevitably return fire.  In addition, there is no way that the Biden administration would allow such a move by China to go unanswered.  Earlier this year the entire world was shocked when Russian forces moved into Ukraine, and we could be right on the verge of another historic moment that changes everything. We were told a long time ago that this was coming.  It is being reported that Nancy Pelosi will arrive in Taiwan on Tuesday, and the Chinese appear to be promising that there will be some sort of a military response.  What form that response will take has been the subject of much debate in recent days.  An article that was just posted on Zero Hedge does a great job of breaking down potential ways that China could strike back against Taiwan itself, but we should not completely rule out the possibility that the Chinese could select an American target to hit instead.  Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan is a direct challenge to China’s sovereignty over the island, and Chinese leaders are steaming mad right now.  They are going to do something that sends a very clear message, and once that happens the Biden administration will inevitably feel compelled to respond.  These are very dangerous times, because it won’t take much to spark a full-blown shooting war. Are we witnessing the start of some sort of a mass awakening in the western world?  For years, I have been writing about the extremely complex systems that are designed to shape and control what we think.  Today, the vast majority of the “news” and “entertainment” that most of us consume is controlled by just a very small handful of immensely powerful corporations.  And of course those corporations are ultimately owned and controlled by the elite of the world.  To a very large degree, the elite have been able to determine what we focus on, what we think about current events, and how we feel about the world around us.  For such a long time, most of the population would take whatever narratives that were pushed upon them by their corporate overlords as the gospel truth, and that always greatly frustrated me.  Fortunately, there are indications that times are changing. She is actually going to do it.  Nancy Pelosi is going to Taiwan, and she is going to take a bunch of other Congress critters with her.  The Chinese are absolutely furious, and they are promising to respond very strongly when it happens.  I really hope that the Chinese show some restraint, because one of the options being discussed is the implementation of a no-fly zone over Taiwan.  That would be an act of war, and the Biden administration would inevitably feel compelled to escalate matters even more.  If that happens, we will be off and running and nothing will ever be the same again. George Orwell once said that “war against a foreign country only happens when the moneyed classes think they are going to profit from it”, and he was right on target.  War is enormously profitable, but once the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan ended the military industrial complex needed a new cash cow.  So now we have the war in Ukraine, and we are being told that it could go on for years.  Life is good again for the big arms manufacturers, but it could be even better.  A war with China would cause military spending to soar to unprecedented heights that we have never been before, and we are getting closer to such a conflict with each passing day. We like to think of ourselves as the pinnacle of human existence, but the truth is that humans have been getting smaller, slower and dumber for quite a while.  So why is this happening?  Over time, human DNA has accumulated an enormous amount of deleterious mutations, and each new generation adds even more.  Our DNA is essentially an “instruction manual”, and these deleterious mutations are essentially “spelling mistakes” in that manual.  Eventually there will be so many mistakes that our “instruction manual” is simply not functional any longer, and that is a major problem.  What this means is that the clock is running down on the human race, and that is a reality that most people don’t want to face. Those that control our food supply wield an immense amount of power.  Small family farms have been integral to the success of the United States all throughout our history, but now such farms are being gobbled up at a staggering pace.  Corporate behemoths, foreign interests and eccentric billionaires are voraciously buying up farmland, and many consider this development to be extremely alarming.  The farming industry is being systematically consolidated, and a lot of people have pointed out that some of the new owners may not have our best interests at heart.  This needs to become a major political issue, because our national security is truly at risk.
