46 Earthquakes Have Shaken California Over The Past 24 Hours

It appears that something unusual is happening along the California coastline.  Over the past 24 hours, California has been hit by 46 earthquakes.  That is approximately twice the normal daily number, and much of the shaking has taken place in the southern part of the state.  In recent weeks I have been writing repeatedly about the alarming seismic activity that we have been seeing along the west coast, and many believe that the potential for a megaquake is significantly higher than normal right now.  Unfortunately, most residents of California are not paying any attention to what is going on at all, and so if there is a major event they will be completely blindsided by it. California Is Being Sued Because So Few Of Their Public School Children Can Read

At one elementary school in California, 96 percent of the students are not proficient in either English or math.  How is that even possible?  Unfortunately, the more the federal government gets involved in education, the worse it seems to get.  At one time the United States had the greatest system of public education on the entire planet, but these days we only seem to make headlines when news comes out about how poorly we are doing.  This has been a hot button issue for me for a long time, but even I was surprised when I learned that the state of California is actually being sued because so few of their public school children can read… (Read More...)

UPDATE: After A Nationwide Uproar, Baby Elijah Is Now Home With Mom And Dad

I love it when a tragic story has a happy ending.  Last week I told you all about a mother and a father here in north Idaho that had their newborn child taken away by government bureaucrats right after it was born.  The mother has cerebral palsy, but the truth is that there was absolutely no reason to take that child away from the parents.  In addition to both parents being there, a grandfather also lives in the home, and so there would be plenty of care for the little one.  Well, the good news is that Baby Elijah was restored to Mom and Dad on Friday.  The battle is not over yet, but for the moment this is a major victory. Exposing The Tricks Of The Professional Politicians

Have you ever sat through a very long political speech and realized at the end of it that nothing of any real substance was said the entire time?  This is what professional politicians have been trained to do.  They have been trained to sound good without every really getting very specific about anything.  I am running for Congress in Idaho’s first congressional district, and I could be just like the other professional politicians if I wanted to be, because I know all of their tricks.  But I would never do that, because I believe that we need to get rid of the corrupt career politicians that are absolutely ruining this country. CPS Grabs Newborn Baby From A Disabled Christian Mother After The Parents Expressed A Desire Not To Vaccinate

Sometimes a story comes along that makes your blood boil, and this is one of them.  All over the nation CPS is stealing children from Christian families that express concerns about the safety of vaccines, but I never expected it to happen in north Idaho.  Actually, a large number of families from all over the country have moved to Idaho in recent years specifically because of the vaccine issue.  In Idaho, there is no legal requirement to vaccinate your children, and so no child should ever be taken away because parents do not intend to vaccinate.  Unfortunately, that appears to be what happened in this case. Why Congressman Joe Barton Must Resign Immediately

I wish that I had never seen the nude photo of U.S. Representative Joe Barton that is circulating around the Internet like wildfire.  It is a photo that he took of himself and sent to a woman that he was not married to, and even though his private area is censored in the photo, it is still one of the most horrifying things that I have ever seen.  I am not going to share that photo in this article, and I very highly suggest that you do not go looking for it.  Joe Barton has already admitted that he took this photo of himself, and this type of behavior is completely unacceptable for a sitting member of Congress.  Barton must resign, and he must resign immediately.
