In the old days, a criminal that had committed an extremely violent crime would go to prison and stay there. That made society safer, and it deterred others that were thinking of doing the same thing. But now in many areas of the country things are completely different. Way too often, violent criminals with very long arrest records are put back into the streets over and over again. Of course what happens next is entirely predictable. Lots of extremely violent crimes are being committed by hardened thugs that have committed extremely violent crimes before. This is occurring far more frequently in blue states than it is in red states. Unfortunately, those that are in positions of power in our blue states never seem to see the error of their ways.
Earlier today, I came across a story that really upset me…
An Oregon leftist who wrote a manifesto, built Molotov cocktails, ordered an AR-15, and planned to stalk ICE agents home, murder them, and take their heads as trophies is going back into society.
Rayden Tanner Coleman, 19, of Columbia City, Oregon, pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of unlawful manufacture of a destructive device.
As part of the sweetheart agreement, prosecutors dismissed 13 other charges, including attempted first-degree domestic terrorism, second-degree domestic terrorism, attempted assault, and several destructive-device offenses.
If he had been convicted of all the charges, he would have been in prison for a really, really long time.
But instead he got an absolutely absurd sweetheart deal that includes no time in prison except for time that he has already served…
Coleman must continue receiving mental-health treatment, undergo evaluations, surrender the weapons seized by authorities, and pay $550 in fines and fees.
Judge Michael T. Clarke sentenced him to 36 months of supervised probation and 75 days in jail with credit for time already served. That means zero additional days behind bars.
That’s it.
He gets to walk about scot-free.
He won’t spend one more day behind bars even though authorities had a ton of evidence against him…
Investigators found Coleman in possession of surveillance equipment, tactical axes, military knives, shovels, and homemade explosive devices, including Molotov cocktails, which were located in his vehicle during his arrest. Coleman had also been making payments towards the purchase of an AR-15, according to court documents.
Coleman allegedly attempted to recruit his roommates to kill ICE agents and detailed his kill plot in a now-deleted manifesto released on the Discord App. “I will actively kill any ICE agents killing or kidnapping civilians,” wrote Coleman, according to a probable cause affidavit. The defendant detailed his intention to create a new country separate from the United States and recruit members to kill ICE.
Do you think that he will just forget about his vendetta against ICE?
No way.
He is probably sitting around with his leftist buddies having a good laugh about this tonight.
Once someone starts going down a very dark road, it can be exceedingly difficult to turn your life around without any help.
If you doubt this, just consider the mass shooting that we just witnessed in downtown Minneapolis.
Two people are now dead because officials just kept putting the shooter back into the streets.
According to Crime Watch Minneapolis, the shooter had a history “of prior drug and domestic arrests”…
Multiple sources have confirmed to Crime Watch that the suspect from the active shooter incident in downtown Minneapolis was Carlton Johnson II, age 35.
Eviction papers were filed against him and all occupants of his unit by Loring Towers in late June.
Court filings indicate Johnson made concerning gun threats to security and others and flashed a gun in his waistband on multiple occasions.
History of prior drug and domestic arrests.
If a criminal keeps committing crimes over and over again, something should be done about it.
We all remember what happened to Iryna Zarutska…
A 23-year-old woman who escaped a war-torn Ukraine and relocated to the U.S. was killed during a vicious attack while she sat on a train in North Carolina.
Video circling online appears to show the moments Iryna Zarutska boarded the train before she was stabbed to death on August 22.
Soon after, the man sitting behind her pulled out what appeared to be a pocket knife and stabbed her several times.
She would still be alive today if Decarlos Brown, Jr. had been put in prison where he belonged.
When he killed Zarutska, he was already a repeat offender with 14 prior arrests…
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department identified the suspect as 34-year-old Decarlos Brown, Jr., a repeat offender who had 14 prior arrets. Police said Brown was charged with first-degree murder in connection to Zarutska’s death.
That case shocked the entire nation, and it should have resulted in meaningful reform.
But it didn’t.
Blue states just continue to open the revolving door for violent criminals.
It appears that things are particular bad in Fairfax County, Virginia…
The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office has agreed to the release of another man accused of murder after another accused killer fled the U.S. on a weekend pass from a Fairfax County mental health facility.
Alexander Jahelka was accused of stabbing his 66-year-old father, Kenneth, to death in a Reston apartment in 2021. He was found not guilty by reason of insanity and committed to a mental health institution in Northern Virginia.
According to court records, Jahelka was granted conditional release into the community with agreement from the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office on July 16, ten days after Abdulloi Toshpulodzoda left on a one-way flight to Tajikistan.
I lived in northern Virginia when I was high school.
Today, it is completely unrecognizable.
Of course the same thing is happening to communities all over this country.
Neighborhoods that were once totally safe are now filled with danger.
We shouldn’t have to live this way.
