Yellowstone Eruption In 2016? Shocking New Video Shows What Is Really Going On At Yellowstone

Yellowstone Ash - USGSOver the past week, our planet has been hit by large earthquake after large earthquake, and according to Volcano Discovery there are 38 volcanoes around the world that are erupting right now.  We have seen a dramatic spike in global seismic activity that is unlike anything that we have seen in ages, and that is why what is going on at Yellowstone is so incredibly alarming.  Geologists tell us that a full-blown eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano would have up to 2,000 times the power of the Mount St. Helens volcanic eruption of 1980, and approximately two-thirds of the country would immediately become uninhabitable.  As you will see below, there are signs that something big is getting ready to happen at Yellowstone, and if it does erupt all of our lives will be permanently changed forever.

I want to share with you some footage from Yellowstone that was recorded on Thursday night.  In this video, it appears to be as bright as day even though it is the middle of the night, you can see a whole host of geysers steaming violently, and Old Faithful just keeps going off over and over…

This stunning footage was posted by a YouTube user known as Kat Martin 2016, and the following is what she had to say about the video that you just saw…

There are places s(t)eaming I have never seen steam before….and also note that the bright ground is back. There are no shadows, so it is not from above! As you know the cameras were froze up last night, so we could not see what was going ….or so we thought LOL…I found a way. Somehow (don’t ask me how), the Geyser Observation Study site was able to capture the ENTIRE night with NO freeze ups and cutting in and out….how is THAT? Anyway, I got it and slowed it down so you can see better. Old Faithful had weird seismos last night, and was going off constantly.

But it wasn’t just that one night.  The weird activity at Yellowstone has continued, and you can watch even more recent footage that Kat Martin has posted right here and right here.

So what does this mean?

I don’t know, but watching that footage definitely got my attention.

And it is interesting to note that just a few weeks ago the Shoshone River changed color and started boiling without any warning whatsoever

The Shoshone River, near Yellowstone National Park, suddenly and without warning started boiling, changed color and began to emit a sulfuric odor on March 25. Nearby witnesses wondered if they were “all going to die.” The current consensus among geologists and other experts is that a portion of the Shoshone River began to boil, located near Cody, Wyoming, and a new Yellowstone vent has opened up.

As Mysterious Universe reports, the boiling river near Yellowstone runs just east of Yellowstone National Park. It is close enough to the park and super volcano to be a “canary in a coal mine” as it relates to unusual geothermic events. The event was initially recorded by Dewey Vanderhoff, a photographer who spotted the Shoshone River near Yellowstone boiling and noted other bizarre features in the river.

When a river located above a supervolcano that could wipe out most of the country starts boiling, you would think that would make headline news all over the nation.

But it didn’t.

It would be exceedingly difficult to overstate the potential danger that Yellowstone poses to the United States.  Other than an extremely large asteroid or meteor, it is hard to imagine any natural disaster that would pose a greater threat.  The following comes from an excellent article by Steve Elwart

The Yellowstone Caldera, or cauldron, sits on top of North America’s largest volcanic field. Four hundred miles under the Earth’s surface is a magma ‘hotspot’ that reaches up to just 30 miles below ground level before spreading out over an area of 300 miles across three states.

Over all this sits the volcano.

While most scientists believe the probability of a major eruption is very small, there are signs that have some analysts worried, and most agree the volcano holds catastrophic potential.  It could blast 240 cubic miles of ash, rocks and lava into the atmosphere, rendering about two-thirds of the nation immediately uninhabitable, according to some estimates, and plunge the world into a “nuclear winter.”

That certainly does not sound good.

And as I mentioned above, volcanic activity all over the planet is rising.  38 volcanoes are erupting at the moment, and it seems like we hear about another new eruption almost every day now.

But let us hope that Yellowstone does not erupt any time soon.

There are approximately 3,000 earthquakes in the area around Yellowstone every single year, so it is a very seismically active region.  In the event of a full-scale eruption of Yellowstone, virtually the entire northwest United States will be completely destroyed.  Basically everything within a 100 mile radius would be immediately killed, Salt Lake City would literally be toast, and almost everyone and everything in Denver would be dead in short order.

Further away, volcanic ash would rain down continually for weeks.  Those foolish enough to step outside would quickly discover that the ash turns into a substance similar to cement in the lungs, and many would die from suffocation.

The amount of volcanic ash released by Yellowstone would be almost unimaginable.  In fact, it has been estimated that a full-blown eruption would dump a layer of volcanic ash that is at least 10 feet deep up to 1,000 miles away.

Food production in America would be almost totally wiped out, and the “volcanic winter” that would result from a Yellowstone eruption would dramatically cool the planet.  Some have projected that global temperatures would decline by up to 20 degrees.

In the end, the death, famine and destruction that we would experience would be vastly greater than anything that we have ever seen in the history of western civilization.

So yes, there is reason to be concerned that weird stuff is going on at Yellowstone right now.

Let us just hope and pray that we do not see an eruption in 2016 or any time soon.

Most of Florida’s produce are dependent on the climate largely attributed to the Global Conveyor Belt, and two of the competing theories of a Yellowstone VEI 7+ would greatly impact crop yields dependent on that region’s climate.

Bare in mind, most ecosystems can shrug off a few degree fluctuations such as El Nino and La Nina for several months in its see-saw records. VEI 7+ in magnitude or intensity would do quite a bit of harm; the difference between the two rests in ash ejected/deposited versus lava ejected/deposited, so we’re looking at the difference between a Stratavolcanic eruption V a Fissure eruption. For visual aid, think Krakatoa V Iceland’s volcanoes on a grant scale such as Yellowstone’s previous eruptions to the Siberian Traps.

The Siberian Traps acted in concert with the mass release of CO12 from the ocean’s depths that resulted in over 80% ELE 1-2 punch as one of the competing theories of the time.

I have been watching Yellowstone cams for several yrs and the nite Kat recorded this I had alerted her to turn her recorder on. I have never seen this either in the years of watching Yellowstone. The last several weeks the park has been bright like daylight till about 430am est. each night. There has been strange lights as well seen in the sky and on the ground. I suggest u all check out Kat martin2016 n weepingwillow2 YouTube videos for the past couple of weeks. I sure pray that. Volcano doesn’t blow anytime soon. Like in my lifetime.

Volcanologist have generally agree that the super volcano at Yellowstone erupts approximately every 600,000 years. The last eruption was 640,000 years ago. Let’s put this in perspective, our species of bipedal hominids (homosapiens) began to move towards an agrarian existence 12,000 years ago, began to domesticate animals 8,000 years ago, developed written language around 5,000 years ago, and began to develop scientific methodologies for evaluating evidence a few hundred years ago. A few thousand years may be a flash in geologic time but it is a long ….. long ….. long time in human terms.

    • Philosopher

Ed, I agree. I had an excellent geology professor. One of his colleagues died during the Mt. St. Helens eruption. Out of all of my science courses, geology was, and still is, the one science I continue to love and follow.

    • Yeah except Göbekli Tepe changes all of those projected dates significantly.

      • Ed54

Yes. Gobekli Tepe does set human religious and social ritual cohesion earlier than previously thought, but still 40,000 years while minuscule in geological time scales, represents a significant time for humans.

Interesting report and videos. Parts of the article were misleading. If the Yellowstone caldera erupts, it will not “destroy the entire northwest.” Certainly those areas within a 100 miles will be in danger. The jet stream flows from west to east so any ash would be carried with the wind as was the case after Mt. St. Helens erupted. The ash after that volcano caused roofs to collapse (due to the weight and once the ash mixes with water it is similar to a snow-load on a roof and dangerous). The ash ruined cars. I trained at the Yakima Firing range two years after the big eruption and there was still ash, everywhere. It was like very fine talcum powder and covered everything: us, our boots, our clothes, and created long rooster tails just from driving.

The biggest danger from Yellowstone erupting are those that live in the immediate vicinity, of course. Next are those that live downwind due to ash fall. Northeast, east, and southeast will be where the ash will fall depending on the jet stream and the prevailing winds at the time of the eruption and shortly thereafter.

The long term effect, and that which would be most dangerous is a possible cooling effect similar to a nuclear winter but which is called a “volcanic winter.” I consider all of the news about global warming to be nothing more than nonsense cooked up by propagandists. However a volcanic winter is a very real possibility. There is a wiki page on this with historical examples.

1816 was known as the “year without a summer” after the 1815 eruption of Mt. Tamboura in Indonesia. Benjamin Franklin wrote about an unusually cool summer after the eruption of Laki in Iceland. In 1600 Mt. Huaynaputina in Peru erupted and resulted in a terrible famine in Russia from 1601 to 1603.

Humans are able to adapt to warm weather. It is more difficult to adapt to cold weather. There are some areas in the US and Canada that were covered with one-mile thick layers of glacial ice 13,000 years ago.

The Occam’s Razor and ‘scientific validation’ way of thinking is a thing of the past. The ‘natural’ order of things has been disturbed to the point of no turning back. Even if they stopped today. What if even a couple of major eruptions happened besides the monster that is Yosemite? What if the air currents were reversed? What if there were hundreds of small local currents that switched due to what was going on locally….600 miles locally? What if? Science is mostly bunk these days. Fukushima kill(s) the whole planet. ELE. Swimming in lava or not being able to breathe is a mercy killing. We have reached the moment where ‘the living shall envy the dead’ and there’s nothing we can do about it!

Here is what I think is going on.
I think the tilt of the planet which is at 23 degrees is changing.
Probable cause is massive amounts of melting ice at the North Polar area all over the north.
Meaning everyone is effected. If the tilt is unbalanced and changes drastically you will see all kinds of geological activity none of which is good for mankind.
It has happened in the past but it was a very long time ago.
Meaning the new poles might be shifted drastically away from where they are now.
I suspect London might be the new North Pole somewhere down the road.
If this weight distribution problem is occurring then it has to balance. The Earth itself might have a significant wobble like a top running out of energy.
This could easily retard or speed up the rotation. Could be we might have a 26 hour day or even a 23 hour day.
The tilt could increase or decrease depending on how it happens.
The change could also shift oceans out of their beds.
At one point in ancient geology the planet had no tilt at all. But that was a very long time ago. Said weather on this planet would have been evened out so that you did not have such extreme changes in season. What changed it? I have no idea.
Best candidate would have been a large asteroid or even our own moon dramatically changing things.
There is plenty of circumstantial evidence for a lot of different disasters in the far past.
    Including an asteroid collision.
Even in historical times it is possible we had a 360 day year at one time. Meaning the Earth was slightly closer to the Sun.
Meaning the planet might have been a little warmer.
Carbon Dioxide might be the villain. It holds heat better.
Meaning the entire planet might be averaging out the temperatures for the whole planet. 40 degrees F below zero to 120 degrees at the equator. Average them out and suddenly you have a whole lot of territory above freezing for a lot of the year. Above freezing means the ice all melts changing the weight distribution of the entire planet.

The solstice and the equinoxe of 12-20-2012 was a transition of our new direction within our suns current trajectory in space. A helical model of our suns current path exists online, we all see the helical spirals in everyday life. the water spins, the air, the smoke, the planets & even the seasons. this 30 degree shift of our planet is exactly what should happen at this time. waited a long time to find a forum asking for this awnser. what we are seeing today is exactly the way things should be. and yes shifting continents and seas are to come along with eveything that entails including volcanic activity. occams razor says we all live in a cycle. There is a point where our sun (in its cycle) is furthest from the center of the milky way galaxy center, causing colder temperatures. we start over every 26,000(or so) years. obvious information and very little study involved to comfirm.

Say HELLO to Mexico and Central America! If you make down there. Ever wonder how a “New World Order” comes about..? Yeah you have to have a total collapse. America leads and will lead the world unwillingly into a Volcanic Winter (effecting the new establishment of the NWO) Everyone thinks were living in the NWO times now..nope this model is just the playright of what’s to come. You have to have unity and peace between nations to have what they deem (a successful NWO establishment)There will be mass death, mass chaos and then the regrouping of society and government will start. Everyone will be under new laws, new philosophy and it will be known as “good” -Karma’s a bitch isn’t? Here we been so worried about refugees invading our country overnight w/n hours US citizens will become the new refugees. 350 + million people displaced w/n one singular event and that’s not counting the amazing death toll.

I’m not a religious person. I don’t go to church. I find religion as segregated and disgusting as other philosophy’s. I’m not talking about the book itself. The ideas in the book are worth their wealth but the amount of control that religion can place on one human being let alone a whole society to end to blood shed and war is wrong on so many levels. I grew up with the Bible and other religious ideals. I can’t just blindly follow something because someone tells me to. I have to see facts. I need to see proof leading to theory. This aside I do know a frelling fact when it hits me in the face. SOMEONE or something gave the knowledge of what’s going on right now to primitives thousands of years ago. Whether they understood the images they were seeing and writing down. :) I do know that when this does happen there will be quite a lot of so called atheists or non denomination’s out there will start praying to whatever deity they can summon in their heads. Hell I might even It’s not everyday you get to experience a super volcano. But don’t just do nothing try to survive don’t be stupid and think faith is going to save you. I mean were pretty much all screwed here together this is why the call it a “global event”. Unless you have Charlie’s golden ticket to the Wonka factory (AKA a bunker, a new country close to the equator… Be a good time to be on the Space Station as long as you had enough supplies and stores of oxygen/nitrogen, solar garden.. lol all jokes aside it will be an event that not one person will debate is happening. And every eye shall see and hear and none shall doubt.

Might be a good time to say all those things you never said to your loved one. You just never know.
