Why Won’t Obama Call It Terrorism?

obama-delivers-a-statement-public-domainEverybody knows that what just happened in New York City was an act of Islamic terror, so why won’t Barack Obama use those words? 28-year-old Afghan immigrant Ahmad Khan Rahami only had one motivation when he planted those improvised explosive devices. He wanted to use violence to promote the cause of Islam. All over the planet radical Islam is on the rise, and we have seen more than 1000 Islamic terror attacks worldwide so far this year. But an extreme form of political correctness is causing many of our leaders to deny what is happening right in front of their eyes. In fact, Barack Obama refused to use the word terrorism when talking about the attack in New York…

President Barack Obama made no mention of terrorism in his remarks on the bombings and attempted bombings in the New York City/New Jersey region over the weekend.

He also chastised the media and urged restraint when reporting about incidents that appear to be terrorist-related.

“I ask that the press try to refrain from getting out ahead of the investigation,” Obama said. “… it does not help if false reports or incomplete information is out there.”

Throughout his entire presidency, Barack Obama has been extremely reluctant to link radical Islam and terror. When he has spoken of Islam, his remarks have almost always been extremely positive.

And it is understandable why Obama would be so hesitant to say anything that could be construed to be negative about Islam. There are people working in his administration that are Muslim, and he has a whole host of friends and relatives that are Muslim.

But to deny that Ahmad Khan Rahami had a religious motivation because it would not be politically correct to admit that he did is insane.

Of course he had a religious motivation and of course this was yet another instance of Islamic terror.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio also initially refused to call the bombing an act of terror, and he was roundly criticized by security experts interviewed by USA Today

Several experts including a former New York City police commissioner said Sunday the explosion that injured 29 people on a Manhattan street was clearly an act of terrorism, and they were perplexed that Mayor Bill de Blasio called it only “an intentional act.”

“It is absolutely an act of terrorism. I couldn’t disagree with him (de Blasio) more,” Howard Safir, who was police commissioner from 1996 to 2000, said in an interview. “I think they do a disservice to the public when they try to sugar coat something that is a horrific act.”

After an immense public outcry, the mayor finally broke down on Monday and decided to use the word “terror”

At the same conference, Mayor Bill de Blasio said ‘We have every reason to believe this is an act of terror’ – after days of refusing to call the bombings just that.

It was later explained that authorities had to distinguish between the emotion of ‘terror’ felt when the Chelsea bomb detonated on Saturday, injuring 29 people, and the act of terrorism – which could not be determined until a suspect and his or her motivations had been identified.

The radical Islamists are very clear about who their enemies are and about what they want to accomplish. If we put our heads in the sand and pretend that they don’t exist, the radical Islamists are not going to stop attacking us. Instead, they will just rapidly get the upper hand.

Barack Obama and his politically correct friends want to see the world a certain way. They believe what they want to believe. But the truth is that radical Islam is a rapidly growing evil, and virtually every nation on the planet is now starting to feel the pain. Just consider an incident which just took place underneath the Eiffel Tower

Three illegal immigrants were in custody in Paris today after a teenager was found tied up and gagged after allegedly being gang raped underneath the Eiffel Tower.

The horrifying attack took place after the 19-year-old was lured on a Facebook ‘date’ in the French capital.

She responded to messages from who she thought was a 17-year-old Tunisian boy and initially met him close to her home in the Paris suburbs.

But last Sunday night she turned up at the Champs des Mars, the public park where the Eiffel Tower is situated, and was attacked.

It isn’t wrong to question an immigration policy that has been importing thousands upon thousands of people from areas of the world where radical Islam is dominant. The decisions that our government makes have consequences, and we just saw an example of this in Minnesota. The man that started viciously attacking people with a knife in a Macy’s Department store was a radical Islamist that originally came to the U.S. from Somalia, and it turns out that since 9/11 more Somali refugees have been resettled in Minnesota than anywhere else in the nation…

Almost 100,000 Somali refugees have been resettled in the United States since 9/11, including 8,619 so far during the current fiscal year. The largest number – some 16 percent of the total over the past 15 years – have been resettled in Minnesota, home to the nation’s biggest Somali-American community.

Unfortunately, our leaders have not learned anything from their past mistakes. Barack Obama plans to dramatically increase the number of Syrian refugees coming into this country in 2017, and Hillary Clinton is on record saying that she wants to raise the number to 65,000 per year

The Obama administration, meanwhile, wants to boost the total number of refugees to the U.S. next year to 110,000, a nearly 30 percent increase. Clinton specifically wants to increase the number of Syrian refugee admissions from 10,000 to 65,000.

As I have discussed previously, 98.33 percent of the Syrian refugees that have been brought in so far are Sunni Muslims, and surveys have found that a significant percentage of Sunni refugees are sympathetic to ISIS.

Barack Obama always promised to fundamentally change America, and he appears to be trying to keep that promise.

Let us just hope that the amount of damage that he does to our country over the remaining months of his term will be minimized somehow.

My only hope is that we can survive the last few months of Obama and maybe just maybe Trump might try to undo the mess that has been known as the Obama Administration

It is not “radical” Islam. It is Fundamentalist Islam–and there are over 200 MILLION fundamentalist Islamists.
If Hillary wins and 100’s of thousands of more are imported in the next 4 years–get used to these occurrences

  • jaxon64

Also I’d like to add, under Islamic law/sharia- that once a territory or area is claimed under Islam, that according to the Hadith, that land forever belongs to the followers of Muhammad.
Dearborn Michigan, sections of our major cities and many of the small communities around the country from Maine to Minnesota among dozens and dozens of others are no longer considered part of the USA by Islam but are now part of the global Islamic Caliphate.
Every new Muslim refugee relocation is essentially giving away chunks of our country to Islam ( in their minds and law) permanently.

It should be obvious to anybody that Obama is a mohammedan or very sympathetic to mohammedanism. It is the Christians who are being raped, tortured, burned alive, etc. by mohammedans, but out of all the immigrants brought in to this country from Syria only about .5% are Christians vs 99.5% mohammedans and I haven’t heard of Christians murdering, raping, torturing, burning alive people like the mohammedans.

The problem is that most people are ignorant of the history of the mohammedans.

      So true.

He was at peace with and in favor of the “people of the book”, as he described Christians and Jews, for awhile. The Jews of Medina gave him asylum from some local enemies, who had defeated him. When he regrouped later, he asked the Jewish leaders who had protected him, to sponsor him in taking revenge against his enemies. They refused to, so he turned against both Christians and Jews at that point, and subsequently included his new views in the Quran.

Obama should be dismissed and go to jail with his islamic brothers killers.

It is amazing that such a brave nation stand still facing this nightmare growing daily and do nothing !

We just recently renewed our home insurance and noticed that the coverage did not include “acts of terrorism”. I asked the salesman about it, and was told if we wanted coverage against acts of terrorism, we’d have to pay another $100 additional per year just for that alone. I told my husband that this seemed silly, how likely is it our townhouse would ever be victim to some terrorist act? But you know, if the people who were injured have health policies with similar wording, and if the people with property damage from his explosion had insurance policies with similar wording, Obama is actually doing them a favor by not calling it terrorism. The second this incident is labelled terrorism, these victims are going to get no payout for their injuries or property damage. Unless they paid the extra $100! My husband is now seriously considering that we get the extra terrorism coverage!

  • iris

He won’t call it terrorism, because, imo, his decisions as a world leader are like that of one, to my understanding. There are people in high places in our country and around the world who could care less, some even welcome this, thinking that the one world government which is being planned to rise out of the ashes of this global destruction, will be good for everyone, especially, of course, for themselves. That’s not going to be the case, ultimately. They may revel in their glory and power for a short while, but eternity is a long, long time.

The sooner this weasel leftist leaves, the better we will be

      • iris

John, I think things have digressed so significantly in the last 30 years, that we’d all better prepare to meet our Maker, sooner than we ever thought we would. Like, in the next few years, perhaps. I could be wrong. I too, hope he leaves quietly and soon, but wouldn’t be surprised if some created crisis hijacks this election, and we can’t trust our electoral process anymore, anyway. It’s all a lie, but God is on the throne, and everything He allows is meant for the good of all, the best for the follower of Yeshua, and for His salvation through Himself, to become apparent, so that it might be accepted.

Israel will be 70 years old in May of 2018. Jesus said that the generation which sees the fig tree (a symbol of Israel) blossom again, will be the same one to see His return and the end of this era of human history. That nation was reborn 68 years ago after being dissolved for almost 2000 years. That’s a miracle in itself. God is in control.

We finally started cracking down on another form of racism and terrorism in the U.S., that of white supremacy, in the 60s and 70s. It resurfaces with new names, but most law enforcement agencies are aware and combat it vigorously. This is a global phenomenon, however, global being the key word, as the rage and arrogance of radical jihadists is being used by globalists to disrupt societies to the point that they will plead for global governance under a one world system. But terrorists cannot be appeased, compromised with or reasoned with. What Joan Camara has been commenting in the past here, that the beast of Revelation may very well use radical Islam as the enforcer of its world system, may be correct. Those who refuse the mark of the beast will not be allowed to buy or sell, and eventually will be beheaded. Of course, beheading is not the only way jihadists murder, but it is a main mo. There are faster, cheaper and less labor intensive ways to murder a person. It is significant that we would have been given this detail in Rev.

I feel sad. A young man just committed a sin. For that sin he will be punished by the laws of this country and he may never ever have a normal life again. That sin was authorized by a group of clerics in his religion. To them he is a hero and a saint. To his family, he has ruined their name. They can no longer hold their heads high. He has dishonored them. And now what would have been cause for celebration in a young man becoming a father and a leader of his people, is now gone. He is essentially destroyed by people in his religion and belief system.
The people we need to go after are those people that teach young people that terrorism is correct by the standards of their religion.
I know there are many positive, uplifting, great and talented people in any group of this size. To brain wash them into thinking the way they do is the real tragedy here.
Think about it. They pray in the direction of Mecca five times a day. They do this all their lives. This makes it easy for someone high in their religion to promote a lifestyle in which they consider themselves superior to everyone else. They do not have to honor contracts with anyone not of that religious belief. They put women down.
They are delegated to an inferior role.
There is much more to this than meets the eye.
Is our current President Christian or Muslim? It really matters not. What does matter is disobeying the laws of this country to promote any belief system and not remaining neutral. It matters when a President essentially becomes a dictator rather than an elected official. The temptation is to dictate law instead of going through the Congress. And this business of bringing in thousands of people without going through immigration is for all intents and purposes illegal. We do have laws.
Are they registered for the draft? Do they pay into the system or are they on welfare? Do they get a pass on driver’s licenses?
Discrimination can take many forms both in favoring or disfavoring individuals. Both kinds of discrimination are wrong and against the law.
Will the President leave office when his term is done?
Who will support an illegal takeover if he doesn’t?
Will the electorial college reflect the popular vote or will it vote in Hillary even if she does not have the popular vote.
These are all issues that pertain to a President with a religious belief system that may or may not be mainstream to our way of life.
His refusal to say the word “terrorism” has deep roots. He needs to be watched by the Congress very carefully.

Some very good points. Hitler was buds with them in WW2, also, just like he was a big fan of Margaret Sanger, who spoke at several KKK functions. Hate, arrogance and rebellion against God, manifests itself in many ways, and utilizes many disguises. Jesus Christ died to save sinners, because He loves all and each of us and He is the righteous, faithful One. I believe this generation is surely witnessing the fulfillment of prophecy regarding the end of history as we know it. Things are going to get more difficult around the world than they are now, it is time to look to God, everything good is in Him.

How do you know that “98.33 percent of the Syrian refugees that have been brought in so far are Sunni Muslims”? Where is your proof?

What “surveys have found that a significant percentage of Sunni refugees are sympathetic to ISIS”?

    Have you seen the refugees?

    Have you met the refugees?

I understand that refugees whether they by Syrian or Somali should not have to be resettled in U.S. There are refugees who hate America because they see America as the cause of ISIS and the break-down of their countries. However, when you say a majority of Sunni refugees are with ISIS that is unfounded and false.

Muslims I know are really angered by what those miscreants did in Minnesota, New Jersey, and New York. They hope they can stop these kind of attacks from happening; they are glad Rahami will be prosecuted.

    • iris

Sm, your religion also tells you that you can lie through your teeth, if it serves to accomplish the goal of Islam., which is that all people will eventually convert or die by the hand of a jihadist. I understand that the term jihad is not necessary connected to violence. Perhaps you can find innocuous sounding verses which would have us believe that this is a loving, peaceful religion, but how can we know where you truly stand? You have your anonymity here, no one will know, so honestly, not for the sake of an agenda, but simply for the sake of truth, how do you personally feel about Jews and Christians? Do you believe that Israel has a right to exist? No one here has asked you those questions yet, and since you keep claiming to be loving, respectful and moderate, and that most Muslims share your perspective, I think someone should be asking.

We’re American. We rarely call things what they are. Obama does call radical Islamist terrorism “radical Islamist terrorism”, he just doesn’t call it “terrorism”. We as a people don’t like to call what Dylan Roof and Ted Kazinski and Timothy McVeigh “terrorism” either, probably cuz they weren’t swarthy colored.

How about Obama calls radical Islamist terrorism “radical Islamist terrorism” once we as a people start referring to male-perpetrated violence as “male-perpetrated violence”, since simply calling it “violence” hasn’t done a darned thing to slow men down. No problem has ever been stopped until we’ve begun calling it by its right name.

    • shots autism

Timothy McVeigh was a patsy. The government blew up that building.
      Watch A NOBLE LIE.

  • kfilly

There are a few reasons for this. Obama wants to keep importing Muslims. A majority of these Muslim refugees are not vetted or screened. If only 1% turned out to be terrorists, it would create a large group of terrorists in the country. Every act of terror frightens the people. People who are frightened give up their liberties for perceived safety. It happens time and time again throughout history. Next, it gives a reason to go invade Syria and other parts of the Middle East. We have to “go get” all of those terrorists before they strike again. Importing Muslims in the US and Europe sounds just like the socialist Albert Pike’s plan for starting World War III.
