We Don’t Need A Republican Revolution – What We Really Need Is A Conservative Revolution

Are you sick and tired of being betrayed by politicians that use the conservative label to get votes but then never actually act like conservatives once they get into office? As a voter, this is something that has deeply frustrated me for decades. On the federal level, there are a few dozen true conservatives in Congress, and I am very thankful for them. In particular, Mark Meadows, Raul Labrador and other members of the Freedom Caucus are doing an outstanding job. But they are greatly outnumbered by a huge number of RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) that have fooled conservatives into voting for them. In 2018, it is time for conservatives to say that enough is enough.

If conservatives will work together, we can do extraordinary things. But we just can’t sit back and wait for someone else to do something.

Right now, the left is already working very hard on winning back Congress in 2018. In fact, on Monday it was being reported that Hillary Clinton has just launched a new organization which is going to be focused on helping Democratic candidates take seats away from the Republicans

The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee on Monday formally launched Onward Together, a political nonprofit group that she said is “dedicated to advancing the progressive vision that earned nearly 66 million votes in the last election.”

The group is poised to help fund some of the organizations at the forefront of liberal efforts to push back on President Trump’s agenda and to seize seats from Republicans in Congress. Clinton said Onward Together will support groups such as Swing Left, which is working to elect Democrats to the House, and Indivisible, a rapidly expanding organization of anti-Trump activists who are using tactics borrowed from conservative Tea Party activists to oppose Trump and to challenge congressional Republicans at town hall meetings.

And if you go to the official website of Swing Left, you will see that they are laser focused on trying to win specific districts in the House of Representatives.

We can do the same sorts of things if we are just willing to take decisive action.

Just like I did yesterday, I would like to share with you an excerpt from an upcoming book. When it is finally finished, you will be able to find it on my author page. I am feeling led to become more involved in politics, and you will want to keep an eye on my websites for some very exciting announcements in the near future. The following excerpt from my upcoming book is about the need for a conservative revolution…

We are no longer going to have any tolerance for politicians that campaign like conservatives but who govern like Democrats. It has been said that Republicans and Democrats are just two sides of the same coin, and unfortunately that is quite true much of the time. At the end of the day, there really is not much difference between most Republicans and most Democrats. Of course the Democrats are taking us down the tubes a little bit faster than establishment Republicans would, but the destination is still the same.

This is why we don’t need another Republican revolution. What we actually need is a conservative revolution. As I write this, the Republicans have been given control of the White House, the Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives, and yet the government continues to pretty much operate as if the Democrats were still in control.

And whenever important negotiations between the two parties happen, the Democrats always get virtually everything that they want.

Unfortunately, it is because Democrats are far more willing to stand up for what they believe than Republicans are.

The primary reason for this is because many Republican lawmakers never believed in conservative principles in the first place. Even though most Republicans campaign as conservatives, most of them never actually intend to govern as conservatives, and it is time for conservative voters to put an end to this practice.

And of course there are many prominent conservative voices that are on the exact same page. During a recent interview, conservative commentator Ann Coulter expressed her disgust with the Republicans in Congress

I do, of course, blame Congress most of all. They are swine. They only care about their own careers. Who knows how much of it is corruption and how much of it is pure stupidity? People should start sending Paul Ryan bricks to indicate how much we want the wall.

They are the opposition party to Donald Trump. This is really something we’ve never seen before. The president stands alone, it’s his own political party, he’s Gary Cooper. All we have is millions of Americans behind him, but he doesn’t have anybody in Washington behind him.

As a child, I was tremendously affected by the Reagan revolution. I was 10 years old when Ronald Reagan won the 1980 election, and I have had a deep interest in politics ever since.

Reagan won two presidential elections by landslides because he gave people hope. He made people believe that it could be “morning in America” again and that there could actually be a bright future for their children and their grandchildren. He did that by proudly embracing conservative values and by communicating them in a way that the average person on the street could understand.

Today, it is up to us to proudly carry on Reagan’s conservative legacy.

We need to be proud of what we believe.

We need to be proud of liberty and freedom.

We need to be proud of the values that our forefathers enshrined in the U.S. Constitution.

We need to be proud of free markets and capitalism.

We need to be proud of standing up for American sovereignty.

We need to be proud of being Pro-Life.

We need to be proud of wanting a limited federal government.

We need to be proud of defending the 2nd Amendment.

We need to be proud of wanting to lower taxes as far as possible (and someday eliminating them entirely).

And we need to be proud of our faith. For so long progressives have wanted to remove every possible shred of the Christian faith from the halls of government, but our founders were men of faith and our Declaration of Independence says that we get our rights not from any man-made document but from our Creator.

Unfortunately, strong men of faith that attempt to run for Congress are often greatly opposed by the establishment. For example, former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore is currently being blackballed by GOP leadership

“I don’t think they want the way I think up there,” Moore said of the GOP leadership. “I’m not apologetic for the way I think. I just want to abide by the Constitution and acknowledge God as the basis for our Constitution, which He is. They don’t like that and I guess they don’t like that I stand for what I believe. But I’m not going to change doing that.”

I am proud to stand with Roy Moore, and I support his run for the U.S. Senate.

Way too often, conservatives, Christians and patriots end up bitterly fighting among themselves over very small issues. We need to figure out who our friends are, and we need to start working together to turn this country around while there is still time to do so.

I don’t know if we will be successful or not, but neither did the brave Americans that fought in the Revolutionary War. At that time, most people never would have dreamed that the colonies could win independence from the British, but thanks to the relentless efforts of our forefathers it actually happened.

So who will rise up and take a stand in this generation? You never know – maybe you will be the next conservative to completely shock the political world by coming out of nowhere and winning an election that you were not supposed to win.

Not too long ago, a minister that I greatly respect issued a national call for Christian men and women to become engaged in politics. I would encourage everyone reading this to carefully consider the following words from Rev. Franklin Graham

We need men and women to run for office at every level, Christians who believe in biblical values and principles and are willing to stand for them and follow them.

And we need people who serve and follow Jesus Christ to learn the issues, pay attention to the candidates, and vote in every election—local, state, and national. I’m not telling people who to vote for. We won’t permit any candidates to appear at any Decision America Tour rally, and I am not endorsing anyone. Who to vote for is something each person should decide through prayer. No political party is going to be able to turn this around. I have no hope in the Democratic Party. I have no hope in the Republican Party. I have no hope in any other party to fix the problems. My only hope is in Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Both my mother and my father were deeply affected by Billy Graham’s ministry, and now his son Franklin is carrying the gospel to a new generation.

Of course not everyone is called into politics. Some are called into the ministry, some are called into the business world, some are called to work with the poor and needy, some are called into the world of education, and some are called to serve in other ways.

But we can all do something to make a difference.

You were born for such a time as this. We can all be great at something, and it is when we are serving others that we become the very best versions of ourselves.

In 1976, an unassuming 41-year-old obstetrician-gynecologist from Texas won a seat in Congress. He probably never dreamed that he would one day run for president or that he would eventually become one of the most important conservative icons of his time.

His name is Ron Paul, and he showed the world what ordinary people can do if they are willing to put everything on the line to make a difference.

And you certainly don’t have to be a man to shake the world. In 2007, a 51-year-old mother of five literally came out of nowhere to win the seat representing Minnesota’s 6th congressional district. For eight years she proudly stood in the eye of the storm, and her contributions to the conservative cause will be remembered for as long as America exists.

Her name is Michele Bachmann, and the courage that she displayed on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives is sorely missed.

Now it is our turn. If we do not try, the forces that are trying to drag this nation into oblivion will win by default.

But that is not going to happen, because a new conservative revolution is rising.

All across America, young conservatives are getting ready to take this country back. We will not bend, we will not bow and we will not break. Like our forefathers before us, we will battle on even when it looks like the odds are totally against us, because you can never defeat the spirit of a true American.

Yes, this nation is facing some extremely great challenges.

But we are not going down without a fight.

So I issue a call to all that will hear me.

Come and stand with us as we fight for our Republic.

Come and stand with us as we fight to save the Constitution.

Come and stand with us as we fight for the future of our children and our grandchildren.

The progressives want to turn our shining city on the hill into yet another godless socialist utopia. But anyone that wants to see where that road leads should just move to Venezuela or North Korea.

Of course in the end the progressives are not going to win because the people of this country are not going to let them win.

There are millions of us that still remember what America is supposed to stand for, and there are millions of us that are still willing to carry the banner of freedom and liberty.

This is our time, and the next phase of the American Revolution begins now.

Or was it her boss Soros that just launched a new organization which is going to be focused on helping Democratic candidates take seats away from the Republicans?

I’m with you Michael. Agree with most everything you said and especially the need to elect conservatives instead of RINO’s. Won’ get fooled again…or will we?

I’m reminded of how John Paul Stevens prophesied that a headline he was shown in a vision was about a 3rd party drawing more votes than ever in U.S. history. He did not say the 3rd party candidate won.

Seems to me, Trump may have to run as a 3rd party candidate in the next election, if he is able to get through these next 4 years. We need to elect people who will support his platform. (I am not commenting on his righteousness, just with regard to partially fixing things wrong with the nation.) He has certainly become a lightening rod for the “lawless”, those who are willing to revile the dignitaries God placed in authority!

I wrote on this site the day after the election, maybe 2 days, things were only going to get worse as the protesters would not go away. Admittedly, I did not realize then as to how correct this statement would turn out to be and how well organized the opposition was. They certainly intend to bring down the government and the country. They will get their their desire, eventually, but it will turn to gravel in their mouths, and for those they claim to care about! It is so sad to see so many Americans are willing to destroy our nation!!

I have a theory. When there is a disconnect between a person’s subconscious righteous values as given to each person by God, and their actions lived out in rebellion to those values, a sort of death wish sets in and they begin to destroy themselves and all those around them. They become sort of like a suicide bomber who just wants to destroy and doesn’t even care about his/her own life. It seems many have become exactly this.

What a bunch of pipe dream nonsense! This article is a bunch of baloney.

Hey Michael, do us a favor and quit preaching this pride ridden rubbish. Please continue with the warnings and encouragement of preparations on a consistent basis. None of this American golden era fantasy bull**** is going to become reality. Stop fooling yourself and others.

  • beezh

Michael, please continue preaching the truth. I agree that this country has been going in the wrong direction for a long time, and the RINOs need to be replaced.

    • William Lutz

Attempting to save America is like trying to retrieve and return a worn out book that’s long overdue.

      • kfilly

Unfortuantely, you are correct. Most Americans are socialists at best. The vast majority are Marxist. It probably has something to do with Antonio Gramsci.

  • William Lutz

So what? Is just putting conservative Christians in political office is going to make this nation into a paradise inhabited by white smurfs and farting unicorns? Hello dude, we have a lot more than just a $21 trillion deficit in our hands. A two quadrillion worth of credit debt derivatives.

As for Venezuela, the people there asked for it and they’re paying the price. In other words, they’re reaping the whirlwind. Therefore, my sympathy for them is now gone. Jodanse, pendejos.

    • Concerned Capitalist

The reason for the unfortunate annihilation of the Venezuelan economy was not credit default swaps, (synthetic) collateralized debt obligations, or mortgage backed varieties thereof, but are the product the Statist systems authoritarian controls on prices and the nationalization of the economic system. Financial derivatives have had no bearing on Venezuela’s collapse; the state’s tyranny did, but nationalists are incapable of seeing the smoke and mirrors.

      • William Lutz

I was referring to the US in terms of debt and deficits, not VZ. I know that Venezuela is where it is because of state confiscation of capital and single handed control over the markets.

Anyway, I want to clarify that not all socialism or communism is bad. Believe it or not, you can have a socialist oriented economy within a capitalist society. Certain Nordic countries have this approach towards managing things. They do have taxation, free services, and state oversight, but it’s all tied to a structured, market driven economy. The groovy deal is a high standard of living, a great quality of life, and a healthy, comfortable work-life balance.

Another method is where you have an incorporated government which runs as a business. For instance, everyone owns stocks within the nation, the state companies make all the profits, and finally the capital is all distributed to the citizens and workers. At the same time, the wealth multiplies and everybody eventually becomes rich.

we must realize also and grasp it that every time one preaches the gospel and word of God darkness is exposed, convictions often come or else a stoutly unrepentant sinner becomes enraged sometimes to but either way it’s because darkness and sin have become exposed.

Lets also never think that sharing the whole word of God is somehow not doing anything, is somehow ‘doing nothing’.

Not that you are or any here said that but that idea is out there among the lost patriots who live for this present world only and say of a believer that preaching the gospel etc is nothing or not enough or useless or…
And it’s anything but useless, it’s the power of God unto salvation to those who’ll believe.
Any believer who is doing all what they are led of the Spirit to do is also ‘doing something’..in fact the best things.

But if the world waxes worse and worse (just as prophesied it will in fact) and runs off with the anti-christ (and all whose names are not written in the Lambs book of life will worship the beast Rev 13:8)..it’s not that believers did nothing. (unless their maybe of those worldly churches were all of a christians life revolves around them and their worldly oriented ‘purpose’).

    • Concerned Capitalist

Now, I abhor much of the socialist buffoonery of liberals, but are by no means satanic. Even most people with intelligence quotients below 80 (but not those who believe the Earth is <6000 years old) realize this with significantly dysfunctional/nearly nonexistent reasoning ability.

    • iris

So very true! Our country and world will be much better served in the short and long term, (if there is a long term for it) if every Christian shares the gospel in our lives and words. That’s not to say that we shouldn’t get involved with politics, but we should never lose that perspective.

Raul Labrador?!? That’s the guy that said “no one dies because they don’t have health insurance”, and then squirmed like a maggot when his OWN CONSTITUENTS booed and hissed at him! This from a member of Congress with Cadillac coverage; but not for you! No, no, you and your kids can go die, because you cost too much…

Michael Politics also known as War by other Means can never be won by being Conservative ,for if you play to win you first must look to Football to understand how being CONSERVATIVE is like playing a Prevent Defence ! Conservatism’s by it’s Nature is defending in it’s play and if politic is War by other Means best to play a Attacking Style of War by other Means ! This why Trump has the FOOLS acting ,Talking ,reacting in such why as a football team trying to protecting it’s lead instead of being OFFENÇE ALL THE TIME ! General Patton never wanted to hear that his AMERICAN SOLDIERS were holding their Ground but we’re always on the ATTACK ! Hyphenated americans Poolitical correct americans ,the demoRAT so-called Americans are the Enemy and it will Require Americans with TRUE GRIT TO DESTROY THIER IDEAS OF WAR BY OTHER MEANS!

“Are you sick and tired of being betrayed by politicians that use the
conservative label to get votes but then never actually act like
conservatives once they get into office?”

First, you have to contend with the US economic model promoted by globalization, expansionism, and transition to guilty until proven innocent justice system under sacrificing rights for security is the same economic model of the Confederacy, Holy Roman Empire, and dates to the city-states era, which the Holy Roman Empire was a feudal system of city-states who lost to France in the Thirty Years War as Cardinal Richelieu and King of France united their expansionism in violation of Protestant doctrine.

Second, Agricultural-Consumerist-Service economies by their very nature severely neglect capital structure while requiring governmental fiefdoms, public-private partnerships, and eventually public-private mergers who predominantly benefit from the capital exchange economy towards the top as the economic model by its very nature does and does so while neglected capital structure results in scarce capital creation pricing most out of capital accumulation markets.

Third, tariffs and other aspects of ‘protectionism’ are historical hindrance of Agricultural-Consumerist-Service economies.

Fourth, capital structure requires a budgeting boost that is not going to happen in the present political environment; there’s trillions worth of Dollars value leveraged by derivatives and other issues that make it largely impossible.

“In particular, Mark Meadows, Raul Labrador and other members of the
Freedom Caucus are doing an outstanding job. But they are greatly
outnumbered by a huge number of RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) that
have fooled conservatives into voting for them. In 2018, it is time for
conservatives to say that enough is enough.”

Freedom Caucus are opposed to tariffs, or they oppose tariffs because Ryan was who proposed it.

“The primary reason for this is because many Republican lawmakers never believed in conservative principles in the first place.”

Under the basis, Progressive Republicans aka RINOs promote Progressive values in conservative light that would be apt.

Frankly, Michael, you should be well aware that the economy will implode, and it’ll be progressed to government-private mergers in official capacity because that’s the only way to mitigate between over 80% of GDP to over 93% of GDP dependent on the US Dollar being the world’s reserve currency status.

Currency and Trade Wars tend to benefit the economy that exits the battlefield first, and the US shows no signs of doing so, and they’ve made not one iota of an attempt to revitalize the economic model back to prioritizing capital structure rendering GDP a bubble that will eventually burst. No member of Congress is even attempting to mitigate it…

You have to follow the money.
Who finances these Rhino politicians and gets them into office?
Who wants equal rights laws concerning labor unions?
    Which states are basically anti-labor?
Someone supports a battle against people negotiating better living conditions.
Well the Republican party is the wealthy man’s party.
But they are also the church’s party. And they have been fooling Christians for a very long time.
You wonder why abortion and planned parenthood are not shut down?
It is because they are liars.
So you have two sides. Both of which are run by the Father of all Lies.
The key to all of this is keeping secrets.
How did they vote? Bet few people know in your local church.
Bet few labor people know either.
The truth is it is our own faults for believing in either side.
    The key word being trust.
Last I heard, the Congressional Record still records how they voted on various issues. Bet most people do not even know they voted for a budget with Planned Parenthood in it. Or how many voted sight unseen for Obamacare.
The Republicans are against the poor.
    The cater to the wealthy.
Then they switch sides on critical issues.
Mr. Reagan is a prime example. He was an actor and good one.
They means he was a professional quite capable of lying about a bunch of thiings.
I was a shop steward when he was in office and packed the labor board with his cronies. They went against years of precedence and that is why we are in the situation economically today that we are in. People quit getting raises to stay even with inflation.
The truth is they are hypocrites. They arranged the China Deal.
When Jesus does come back he has a lot of house keeping to do.
