Victory! The Arch From The Temple Of Baal Planned For New York City Has Been CANCELED

Palmyra - Public DomainThe Temple of Baal is NOT coming to Times Square in New York City next month.  This is great news, and it represents an incredible victory for Christians in the United States.  As you will see below, the New York Times, Snopes and a whole host of other mainstream news sources reported last month that everything was on track for reproductions of the giant 48-foot-tall arch that stood in front of the Temple of Baal in Palmyra, Syria to be put up simultaneously in Times Square in New York City and Trafalgar Square in London during the month of April.  But now that will not be happening.  The only arch that will be going up will be in Trafalgar Square, and it won’t be the one from the Temple of Baal.  Instead, the Institute for Digital Archaeology has changed plans and will be putting up a reproduction of the Arch of Triumph which the Romans originally built in Palmyra and that has nothing to do with Baal.  So why has there been such a dramatic change in plans?

On Friday, I received an urgent message from a contact that has been investigating this, and she told me that she had talked directly to someone from the Institute for Digital Archaeology and that she had been informed that no arch was going up in New York during the month of April.

I pressed her for confirmation, because every mainstream source that I could find said that the arch from the Temple of Baal was indeed going up next month.  So her information would definitely change everything, but I needed to be able to confirm this.

Well, confirmation came in the form of an article from the Telegraph, which is one of the most important news sources in the United Kingdom.  On Friday, they reported that the original plan to put up the arch from the Temple of Baal in New York and London simultaneously had been scrapped…

When the IDA revealed last December that it was intending to use its data and expertise to build not one but two replica Palmyra arches – to be unveiled simultaneously in Trafalgar Square in London and Times Square in New York – it generated headlines across the world.

Since then there has been some backtracking on the original idea. There will be no simultaneous unveiling in New York – they may transport the London arch there later, or build another one – and the Palmyra arch that is being reconstructed is no longer the entrance to the Temple of Bel (which survived an attempt to blow it up in August 2015) but the Arch of Triumph (partially destroyed in October) formerly located at one end of the Great Colonnade.

As you can see, this report confirms what they were originally planning to do, and this represents a massive change of direction.

Just a few weeks ago, everything appeared to be all set for this arch from the Temple of Baal to go up in Times Square in April.  For example, the following is what the New York Times reported on March 19th

NEXT month, the Temple of Baal will come to Times Square. Reproductions of the 50-foot arch that formed the temple’s entrance are to be installed in New York and in London, a tribute to the 2,000-year-old structure that the Islamic State destroyed last year in the Syrian town of Palmyra. The group’s rampage through Palmyra, a city that reached its peak in the second and third century A.D., enraged the world, spurring scholars and conservationists into action.

Of course the New York Times was far from alone in reporting about this.  The New York Post had also reported that this was a done deal…

A towering arch of an ancient temple in Palmyra, Syria, that has been mostly destroyed by ISIS terrorists will be recreated by a huge 3-D printer and put on display in New York City this spring, officials said on Monday.

The life-size model of the original 2,000-year-old structure, known as the Arch of the Temple of Bel, will stand approximately 48 feet high and 23 feet wide.

And as I write this article, Snopes is still reporting that the arch from the Temple of Baal is going to go up in New York and London…

While it is true replicas of Palmyra’s Temple of Baal arch are being constructed for temporary display in New York and London, the project solely involves reproducing the structure’s arch and not creating a functional building. Moreover, interest in reproducing the demolished antiquity is archeological in nature, not religious.

The big question is this…

Why has there been such a sudden change in plans?

First of all, why is no arch going up in New York next month at all?

Secondly, why has the arch in London been switched to an entirely different arch?

Could it be possible that the alternative media has played a role?  Since the original New York Times story last month, a massive firestorm has erupted in the alternative media and this story has gone megaviral all over the Internet.

Could it be possible that they have backtracked because of how much negative attention this story has been receiving?

Of course let us not underestimate the prayers of God’s people.  Once this story went viral, Christians all over America started praying against this arch.  From personal experience, I know that the prayers of righteous men and women are extremely powerful, and we may never know how much of an impact they had on this situation.

So let us celebrate this victory, but let us also understand that what this country is facing is not going to fundamentally change unless there is true repentance.  Because even though a monument to Baal is not going up in New York City next month, we continue to embrace the ways of Baal as a nation.

Since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973, more than 58 million babies have been murdered in America, and of course this was a key feature of Baal worship in the ancient Middle East.  One place where we find this in the Bible is in Jeremiah 10:4-6…

4 Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;

5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:

6 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.

Another key feature of Baal worship that we see reflected in modern society that I discussed in a previous article is the public exhibition of sexual acts.  In ancient times, there would be crazed bisexual orgies around the altars of Baal, and large crowds would gather around to watch.  And of course today we are a nation that is absolutely addicted to watching other people have sex.  In fact, it has been estimated that 68 percent of all Christian men watch pornography on a regular basis.

Unless we change our ways, it is inevitable that the judgement of God is going to hit America extremely hard.  This is one of the topics that I cover in my new book entitled “The Rapture Verdict“.  God keep calling us to repent, but we keep shaking our fists at Him as a nation.

At some point, time will run out.

For the moment, let us celebrate this victory over the Temple of Baal.

But let us not relax one bit, because there is an enormous amount of work that needs to be done to try to wake this country up while we still can.

The darkness can not survive. If a bright light is made to shine on it.

i don’t know about victory just yet–the number of mosques preaching jihad is probably spreading

    • walcon

I wonder why darkness is always considered evil? Without darkness, no one would know what light is.

      • uum44a

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Because Satan and his evil ways are darkness and following (either intentionally or unintentionally by not accepting Jesus Christ) him will eventually lead to the lake of fire where the darkness can actually be felt like when darkness was on Egypt.

      • LightBearer

Problem is, the darkness is trying all it can to swallow up the Light. That’s why the darkness is “considered” evil. Because it is.

I don’t call this a victory but a testament to born again Christians that prayer can have a impact even in an endeavor such as this. The real victory has already been won when Christ died for “sinners” and made an open show of them “meaning Satan and his Cronies” thus forever stealing his advantage over mankind which was death itself. Had they known and understood the scriptures pertaining to the coming of Christ and his plan they would have never crucified the son of man ;) IMHO

So , your one of them “bornagianers” . Everyone’s got it wrong cuz you said so , yet all you guys can’t agree on anything , gotcha

      • Tom Tom

        what do you agree on?

        • JS

Those NON-BornagAINer’s can’t even agree on what GENDER they are!!!

What makes you think they can agree on anything else?!!!

      • cathyulrich

I sincerely pray u don’t c Christ the way some have presented Him. Angry, far away, ready to strike us down. Christ died to set us free! He is love. The definition of it in sending His Son to be a sacrifice for our sins & raising back to life so we could all have life in Him. Ur right. We often don’t agree. It’s time for us to unify on the one important thing….Christ died for all & loves all & we show our love for God by our love others.

        • MofromRo

He taught us that religion isn’t the way. He only went to the temple to teach.

      • uum44a

molanlabe why are you so angry. Not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. If you took time to read God’s Word you could come to know Him and be born again TRULY!
Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
And Jesus Certified that is all the work there is to it.
John 6:28-29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
        That is the only work
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Remember God gave us ALL Free Will
He doesn’t want robots He wants us to freely choose Him but are consequences if we don’t. Maybe you heard this all before, and maybe this will be the last time. Read Matthew Chapter 24 it shows all the signs of the last days and they are increasing.

    • CarriedbyGrace

      He died willingly.

      • uum44a

Yes He died willingly but someone had to Kill Him and they did, but we all killed Jesus.
He took all of mankind’s sins past present and future and nailed them to the cross.

        • CarriedbyGrace

          With that I will agree. ; }

    • uum44a

The whole thing you wrote Rebecca isn’t just your Humble Opinion it is Scriptural. You may not have said it exactly word for word but it is. to wit:
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
1 Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
      Blessings!

So you were intending a criminal act?

      • sharon oliveria

Yes Evil Satan had a plan, but God had a bigger plan to destroy Baal from coming up! Praise God ! & For the Prayers of many faith Christian’s that came to the Battle & won the Victory in Jesus all Glory gos to God & The Lamb of God Jesus !

      • JS

What’s really gonna be a Big Day for them is when NK and China Nuke NY into oblivion!!!

You just don’t know how G-d works!!!

    • Mark Harmer

I think the idea is to show that the ancient architecture of Palmyra is shared with our modern idea of revivals of ancient architecture (as in Trafalgar Square, with its nod to Greek and Roman columns) thus showing that there is a human connection across the centuries. Therefore it won’t look out of place and that’s kind of the point, to say that destroying this ancient site (as IS has done) is destroying something we still have in common and that has shaped our world view.

Not aware of the connection to religion though.

      • Gay Veteran

WOW, finally some common sense on this site!

    • Dipak Basu

      Totally Wrong.
The temple of Palmyra was built by the Romans for their deity Mitra ( in Sanskrit means Sun). Mitra was ( and still is in Hindu religion) a very important deity ( or very powerful angel) in Hindu, Zorastrian and Roman religion.

      • WhiteDragonKing

I said it was the Temple of Baalshamin not the temple of palmyra.

The temple of Baalshamin, a structure of giant stone blocks several
stories high fronted by six towering columns, was dedicated to a god of
storm and rain — the name means literally “Lord of the Heavens.” Which baal was. Just ask Jezebel

        • Dipak Basu

Thus, it is wrong to say that a replica of the Temple of Baal will be erected. Temple of Palmyra is not the temple of Baal, most possibly the temple of Baal was in Egypt, and built by the Babylonians. The Temple of Palymra is the temple of Mitra, built by the Roman Empire. Similar temples of Mitra built by the Romans are there in Colchester, England and in Garni in Armenia.

          • WhiteDragonKing

I didn’t say that a replica of the temple of baal. The arch of triumph which was at the temple of baalshamin is the one that they are going to erect, so in other words it’s still an arch connected to baal

          • Dipak Basu

The proposed arch is the replica of the Temple of Mitra in Palmyra built by the Romans recently demolished by ISIS.
The temple of Baal was Babylonian. the difference is about 1000 years.

  • WarriorWomanForGod

Evil forces do not give up so easily. It will show up somehow, they’ll do it under the cover of darkness. Just watch…

      • CarriedbyGrace

        Glory! Glory!

    • CarriedbyGrace

They scrubbed the plastic Arch to the Temple of Baal that was being made in China. They are going to erect the Arch of Triumph of Palmyra made in Tuscany out of Egyptian marble. We can throw our hands up in thanksgiving and praise for answered prayers! This abomination is not, for the time being anyway, coming here. YaY

    • 2SPOOKY

I’m with you on this – something is not right. The master deceiver is up to something…..

Praise God! we give all Glory to God! Thank you for bringing this report of Victory to us in Jesus Name !

    • Gay Veteran

soooooooooooo, a different arch is going up and yet all those abortions keep on happening. and you this is some kind of grand victory?!?!?!?!?

      • an

Maybe it’s good there’s abortion & they’re harvesting baby body parts as much as I hate both. If it was halted there could be immense pressure to start organ harvesting on adults like they do in police state countries.
They kill people for their organs in China.

  • Dianne

Praise the Lord, for the victory came in Jesus name. Hallelujah!!! We cannot give up saints… Keep up the prayers they avail much. Let’s see the tide of iniquity turn back too, so that our country is delivered from the EVIL ONE. AMEN

  • DiDi9

    Thank you Jesus!!

  • disqus_mma68NTtry

I prayed about this last night…and thankful that God heard our prayers. I almost bought a plane ticket for this date to go pray for all the people putting it up….but then I remembered that the New York Primary is scheduled for this day as well. Alot of bad things are going wrong in this country….putting this in Times Square would have really invited the wrath of God upon a sinful country. Don’t think just because you don’t live in New York that you are safe from a jealous God. Woe be to the churches and the hypocrites who sit in the pews…..

    • watchmannonthewall

It is a fantastic victory! With respect to your last statement about the churches and hypocrites: We had a discussion yesterday in “church” about our nation. God’s Word says, “If MY people, who are called by MY name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek MY face and turn from THEIR wicked ways, THEN will I hear from heaven, will forgive THEIR sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chr. 7:14)

I really do not think most who claim His name, understand He says HIS problem is with His people (Us), and NOT the unbelievers in the land. That is what the passage says, is it not?

I have attempted to show “Christian” relatives many what Scripture says His people are to be doing to honor His name, i.e., obedience, and because they have been doing the wrong things for years and haven’t seen any bad effects, they refuse to take a fresh look at what God really said in His Word.
Thankfully, Peter told us heaven must retain Jesus until the period of restoration of ALL things which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets (Acts 3:20-21). Jesus said Elijah must come and restore all things before His return. This means there must be a group of people on the earth who are walking in accordance with all of His Word before His return (the 144,000?).

He has been quite patient with us, but as we near the end of this age, we need to leave our doctrine behind and go back for a fresh look at Scripture, even asmany of those of the 1st century didn’t. There was a group of religious hypocrites when He came the first time. There will be again when He comes the second. I agree with your statement. We should all get on our knees in repentance and ask for forgiveness and understanding!

  • jesusfreak43

They are just swopping one evil for another. For those thinking this is a victory, remember Satan has had these end time plans for millennia.
Our victory is in Jesus !

    • CarriedbyGrace

And we praise God and are grateful for answered prayer, are we not?

  • Dio Jones

Praise God, he is a GREAT GOD!!!

Always be a light that is shininginthedark.

  • Marie Wright

This article is wrong! It was never being built, it was the arch, and I cannot find any info other than you on it being canceled.

    • CarriedbyGrace

It is all spelled out in the article he sited from the Telegraph. You can also find info on the Institute of Digital Archaeology website.

  • Abimbola Eniola

Praise God. Let the prayers continue.

  • Nailworx

Arch of Triumph is not exactly a positive thing either. Romans worshipped deities as well, and slaughtered Christians in the arena for their twisted pleasure.
Baal or Ancient Romans, names change but not the game.
Maybe we know of Pilate who acquiesed to crucifying our Christ. He was prefect of Rome.
So I wonder is this just a simple show of deception…….always a wolf in sheeps clothing?
Remember y’all that the deception is so great that it could even deceive the ‘elect’ if that were possible.
What might seem as a victory might actually be going as planned.
Be ever so vigilant, eyes and ears well tuned to our God’s voice and stay superglued to Him. BATTLE READY……because with a smile on our face we know with certainty the final victory is HIS.
    BLESSINGS!!!!

The Tower of Babylon is being built. CNBC last night. Tallest in world.

There was no Tower of Babylon, I don’t think, only the Tower of Babel in Babylon.

Now if prayer could cancel Hillary’s run. The country would be eternally grateful .

  • Tom Martin

Why do you keep saying next month when it is/was supposed to happen this month?

  • Alice X

What is the “Arch of Triumph” they say will supposedly be erected instead? It still comes from Palmyra and built by the Romans … Sure they’re not having us on? Perhaps just changed the name or something?

    • CarriedbyGrace

The Arch of Triumph of Palmyra is a different arch than the Arch of the Temple of Baal. It is quite strange that they have changed the arch completely and are only putting this marble arch in London when the original plan was NYC, London and Dubai.

      • Alice X

Thank you for responding. Still though, why do they want to put up any arch of any temple? It seems UNESCO are also connected with CERN and the LHC – I feel in my heart, they want to use their “arch” as a gateway to usher in the demonic (fallen angels chained) nonetheless. I don’t think anyone would be the wiser anyway as to how the Arch of Baal or Triumph looked anyway. As Christians, we would still need to remain vigilant. Blessings

  • Phil

Nimrod built Babel ( Babylon ) it’s just a translation difference.

  • Phil

Babylon is a translation of Greek of Babel, this was taken from the Akkadian language I believe. I think the Tower of Babel was built in Babylon. So any reference to the Babel Tower is the same I think. I bought my first Bible yesterday, I only found Jesus and became awake and few weeks ago.

    • CarriedbyGrace

Oh Phil, that is wonderful news! I’m in my 50’s and met Christ when I was 17. Guess what, you and I are equally footed, there is no difference, we are now one in Spirit!
We are living in very exciting times! If I may, I would like to encourage you to read and understand the Gospels…the first four books of the New Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and particularly John because that will tell you the most about Jesus’ life and how we are to do what He did.

You know you didn’t choose Jesus, He chose you and I for one am so thrilled you answered His call.

      If I could caution you on one thing it would be to be very careful of “religion” that is man-made. The enemy of this world (Satan) will do whatever he can to confuse and mislead. The church (brick and mortar) was infiltrated a long, long time ago and that is why there is so much deception, confusion and bickering in the faith family. When Jesus speaks of the “church” he is speaking of His followers and quite frankly, He wasn’t very fond of the man made brick and mortar churches although it is important to worship and fellowship at church, it is important to choose wisely. ; }

Christ said we are to learn from Him and God’s Holy Word…we are not to follow man but Christ.

Hope this is encouraging to you, God bless you!

  • ProclaimingGodsTruth

Praise God that it is not going up!

However … the temple of Baal and it’s demonic worship still is going on every day in America. What I mean by this is abortion clinics, abortion mills, back rooms, etc.
This is demonic worship in no uncertain terms and it has been happening in America since 1973. It is pure evil and Almighty God will bring judgment against and the other mega-million sins that America has embraced, yes right now today.

This nation is being ripped apart spiritually, and morally. This is no God at the helm anymore. America has turned dark. There is not even a thought of national repentance.

Read Jer 7:16; Jer 11:14; 14:11 and then Jer 15:1-2. Is this the future for this once great nation?

    • Mark Harmer

I think you’re confusing morality and religion.

      • ProclaimingGodsTruth

No sir! Morality is directly linked to either a land/people with Almighty God or the same with no Almighty God. Read the Bible and know the truth.

        • Mark Harmer

Er…so nothing to do with religion then. Which is what I said.

          • ProclaimingGodsTruth

Everything to do with Christianity and not religion. Almighty God is about Christianity and if you link the word religion with Christianity then yes it has everything to do with it.
However, religion is a very ambiguous term and can include many other false beliefs and followings. Did you catch that … “false beliefs” which equate to false gods.

          • Mark Harmer

As a Christian you’re saying other religions are false – but each religion would say that about each of the other ones. This is all so open to one person’s interpretation. Secular / laws which acknowledge our humanity and our mortality (and yes, of the ancient books which make up our early story) make way more sense to me as a viable thing to cherish and believe in. Seems to me that religions are essentially competing with each other and not acknowledging our shared humanity.

          • ProclaimingGodsTruth

What other “religion” declares that a Savior rose from the dead?

“Secular laws declare our humanity and morality”? So is this then what your wisdom is built upon? Is this then your faith?
So abortion and same-sex marriage … you are OK with?

          • Mark Harmer

Don’t see why not in the case of same-sex marriage. Doesn’t worry me unduly provided people keep it to themselves – a bit like their faith. So the fact of people following a religion is not something that worries me – as long as it doesn’t lead to violence and war. Trouble is, religion often does. In terms of abortion, sure sometimes it is necessary for medical reasons. I have more trouble when it is something “on demand” as a result of carelessness of course. But faith is a consequence of our human condition and can be celebrated as such as long as it isn’t used to claim moral superiority over others.

          • ProclaimingGodsTruth

I guess my friend your faith seems to be build on secular knowledge and wisdom. So be it.

My faith is built on Jesus Christ and by no means does He claim to be morally superior over anyone other than He did not sin.

You ever read the Bible? If so, what impact, if any, did it have on your life?

  • Ian Aston

Oh my goodness, you’re all stark raving bonkers…!

    • MofromRo

      LOL

    • uum44a

Yeah Bonkers all right, Raving Bonkers for Jesus Christ! We Love The Lord!

  • Rob Klaers

I have to wonder….. If a replica of the pyre/altar that Abraham was going to sacrifice his son on was going on display, if Christians would have has much of a problem with it.?

  • Marge

Oh Hallelujah. Thank you for updating this topic. I have been standing on Is54…. I have been condemning this despicable idea. God has answered prayers! Amen

  • Phil

    Carried by Grace,
thank you for the advice, I’m on a steep learning curve. It was very sudden and it was extremely emotional. I was away working, near StoneHenge and I was on my own, yet I knew who awoke me from my slumber and I tingled all over ( cried too, ex military of 22 years ).
Since then, many things have happened and I know I’m awash with the love from Jesus. I’ve started to pray for the awakening of others like myself from a non religious background and have no religious friends. Something is happening in the world, I sense it, just like back in the military I sensed things.
    God Bless

    • CarriedbyGrace

Phil, you are an end time saint! We called and when we listen to the Holy Spirit and do the will of God we see things in the spiritual over the natural.

My heart aches for our service men and women because they are encountered demonic entities in the Middle East that are too much for those that are unsaved. It is my humble opinion that this is why the suicide rate is so high among our veterans right now.

There is a great blog called Allnewspipeline (ANP) and there is a strong body of believers there so it is a great place to hang out. Please stop by sometime.

      Stay strong in the Lord! Psalm 91, 2 Timothy 1:7, 1 John 4:1 and Proverbs 1 (there are 31 chapters in Proverbs so it is perfect for one a day ; }

  • Vir

I believe this is the result of massive prayers from Christians all over the world. The American revival just happened last April 9th in “Azusa Now” or “The Call” gathering in Los Angeles Coliseum joined by Pastors from different churches in Washington D.C. http://www.thecall.com/ You could watch the event here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK2DkDKejcs&feature=youtu.be

  • Michael

So, what? They’re just taking it directly to Washington, DC instead?

  • Jim Davis

That’s too bad. I was hoping for the gateway to hell that Michael imagined so it could swallow up all of the Manhattan bankers.

  • RUkiddingme?

We must be grateful they are not setting up the temple of Baal, but the dem onic practices still continue of abo rtion, ga y marriage, high divorce rates, por nography and a total rejection and mocking of Jesus Christ in this country. God has removed His hands from this nation, and all that is left is judgement which will be swift. It has already been happening if you look around. Those who love the Lord will be under His wings.

    • Gay Veteran

marriage equality is demonic, riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. your type said the same of interracial marriage.

and don’t you have a street corner to pray loudly at?

  • Mark Harmer

Looks like you are all closed-minded tinfoil-hat-wearing nutcases. Nothing personal!

  • Bea

THANK GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW and the power of Christian prayer.

  • cathyulrich

Ur reply is in such ‘love & mercy!!’ Not. When we love one another as Christ did & gave Himself up while we were still sinners, then the world will know who’s we r & will want to know Him too. Christianity isn’t about insults & us against sinners who Christ died for. Above all love! Love. As Christ loved the church & gave Himself up 4 her? U only proved w/ ur reply that w/ ur attitude we really don’t belong to Him unless we stop the immature hate among ourselves & creating divisions. Now more than ever it’s time to show Who Christ is to the world. Don’t let ur petty stupidity & judgment make them get even further away. Molanlabe- I sincerely pray u don’t c Christ the way some have presented Him. Angry, far away, ready to strike us down. Christ died to set us free! He is love. The definition of it as demonstrated in sending His son. Ur right. We often don’t agree. It’s time for us to unify on the one important thing….Christ died for all & loves all & we show our love for God by our love others.

    • Tom Angle

There where times when Jesus was irritated.

      Matthew 17:17

17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

Not saying I agree with the words the person used. But sometimes showing some irritation get a point across.

      • uum44a

I agree Tom but Jesus was mainly mad at those who promoted false doctrines to allow them to make money and keep themselves in power over the people and to be had in high respect of the people. Jesus Christ hates his word being twisted and distorted more than anything because it means that those who he died for to give that Word to them are being told a lie instead and are being lead to Hell Instead of Heaven.
Revelation 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
        Woe unto False Prophets!

      • uum44a

I forgot to say this can you imagine how furious our Lord would be with the politicians in our country as well as Most of the world’s Leaders? But soon He will punish all of mankind for it’s wickedness.

        • Tom Angle

Can you imagine how furious He is with the church for sitting silent for so long? Instead of speaking out against the corrupt politicians, they sit silent to keep their tax exempt status. Who do they really worship.

I really believe if the church would stand up against the evil that has overcome this country. There would be huge changes and many souls won.

          • uum44a

God sees His Bride as Spotless Tom and God has to make His End Time Prophecies come true and most people reject the gospel and I have a lot like that and most of my family and relatives have rejected the Gospell so I really have to say it is more rejection than Christians not doing anything. God Bless You Tom.

          • Tom Angle

Then there are a large number of church leaders and members that are not saved.

          • uum44a

Yes you are right Tom but many have chosen to sit in a pew and get their religion and ignore Salvation Thru Jesus Christ.

          • uum44a

Also you are right Tom when you say:
I really believe if the church would stand up against the evil that has overcome this country. There would be huge changes and many souls won.
But God has to wrap up History and He had to allow it to go in this direction to become apostate because that is where the church is at right before The Trib’s onslaught! God Bless!

        • Jossik46

He told us His name. But people insist on calling Him “Lord” which essentially means ba’al, which that is what He kept telling the peoples, to walk away from the ba’als of the world and esteem His proper name which is a set-apart name. “Lord” has no connotation of a set-apart name. So, it’s rather ironic that the Christians would be up in arms about a temple of ba’al when that is the name they call All Mighty El, Yah.

      • Beth

There was no point made. Most people would probably deduce that it was a typo, after all it was not like a word that was difficult to spell.Seems to me that if there was any kind of irritation it would have been about the serious subject matter and not a format to give spelling lessons.

    • uum44a

I agree cathy, but if we see false doctrine promoted then we need to take a strong stance in defence against it. Because as you can obviously see on the web Apostasy is running rampant. Bless You!

  • cathyulrich

Keep the main thing the main thing. Going around finding all these faults & sins of the world is NOT what will get them to repent. When we love each other as He did, & love the world as He did (the sick need a dr, not those WHO think they’re well) THEN our light will shine in all its glory & many will be set free from their bondage. As long as we r busy politicizing the Lord & putting out distracting side fires the enemy sets continuously we will not win the battle against him. When we love God & love our neighbor as ourselves & do everything in love as Christ does then we will conquer the enemy. Our fight is not w/ flesh & blood, but against principalities & powers in HEAVENLY places. Stop fighting the battle on earth & be seated in the heavens where Christ is seated. This world is not our home. Your will be done, You’re Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

    • cathyulrich

It’s the kindness of God that leads men to repentance.

  • fish4man61

They will be kept and stored till the time is right, like say when all the real believing Christians are gone…..

  • joebags

So what you’ve done is you’ve prevented the fulfillment of God’s prophecies for the End Times. You’ve done the work of the anti-Christ by delaying the Lord’s Ultimate Justice. Congratulation, you tools of Evil!

  • yogini sd

not one mention in the telegraph about what it was and what happened there, COMPLETELY oblivious? no, I think not

  • Allison

Wow…talk about the power of prayer…God hears us! This is awesome! Although I must say that the darker it gets the sooner Jesus will return…I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m ready for this showdown between the Elite (Satan’s people) and the Elect (God’s people)!!

  • Vic George

Now how about you Christians getting rid of Mammon worship in your lives, or is that idol too precious for you to let go of? Jesus says you CANNOT serve both God and Mammon, so either that has to go or God has to go.

    • Eileen Kuch

I’m elated that the arch from the Temple of Baal planned for NYC has been cancelled. God did hear our prayers; however, there’s still lots more praying to do. The USG is thoroughly corrupt – pushing evil agendas such as LBGT special privileges, pushing Christian hospitals/clinics into performing abortions, forbidding public displays of the 10 Commandments and other Christian symbols, etc.
We’ve noticed for over a decade that during the Christmas Season a huge Menorah on the White House Lawn, but never a Nativity scene. This is a violation of the 1st Amendment in that Talmudic Judaism has been made into the state religion. This has to end. Gay marriage has to end, since it’s not true marriage. True marriage is between one man and one woman. Satan worship – or, Mammon worship, as you said – must end. Jesus says you CANNOT serve both God and Mammon; so, either that has to go, or God has to go.
      Very well said, Vic.

  • TheCountess

Wondering… is not baal being worshiped in other forms, let alone a new structure? Seems trivial in terms of existing blasphemy already being perpetrated in the name of the anti-christ?
I get it when it comes to the continuous additions, but there are far more devastating things happening in our nation to gain one’s attention.

  • Sonokar

Those on the other side never give up this easy; be on guard.

  • Gay Veteran

“…why has the arch in London been switched to an entirely different arch?….”

maybe they don’t care which one goes up, but then that wouldn’t fit into your preconceptions

  • Gay Veteran

    spelling na zi

  • Mush

This means nothing and changes nothing nor should be looked at as a victory. Its a start of a chain of events that will not be broken.Only worry about where u stand with god and the rest is trivial. This life isnt 4ever but the next 1 is.

  • MaxRockatansky33

No enough funds? Oops. Means that Rotschilds have other priorities.

  • GetReal4U2

as the darkness grows…may God let your light shine brighter…

  • Tyler

    Lol. Dumbass religious people.

  • JesusChrist isJudahite NOT jew

Jesus Christ deserves all the glory in stopping this .
Root of the church in america problem is it NOT blessing the WRONG SEED ?
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

So why are millions blessing the FLESH and NOT the SPIRITUAL seed which is Jesus Christ ?

  • MofromRo

Joint rulers? I hope not. It’s not what I aspire to. More vain glory, enforcement, bureaucracy, busy bodies, rules and regulations into eternity? Sounds kind of hellish. The One True Ruler will do nicely for me.

  • Hans Geiger

    Whow, you are so intelent……….

  • Fred Pickles

They don’t need a temple of baal in new york to watch public orgies. Just stand on the street and watch the gay pride parades go by.

  • uum44a

Amen Brother Cameron Amen! See you soon in The Rapture!

  • Rob MacDonald

“a massive firestorm has erupted in the alternative media and this story has gone megaviral all over the Internet.” Umm, nope. that never happened.

  • Timmae

God put the Tree of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden for a good reason. I would be interested in seeing the Temple of Baal. Maybe some Christians could go in there and knock over a statue or two.

  • Ray S.

I don’t know about this. There’s not enough detail about exactly why it was cancelled. The temples were funded and completed and something of this caliber doesn’t just disappear or go away. I think they will go up eventually … just not in April. Maybe they are waiting for the public to lose interest in the story or for the anniversary of the destruction of the temple.

  • Julie

Hey- I went to NY times and NY post and did not see a retraction or a discussion of this not going up- are you sure it is not?

    • CarriedbyGrace

You will find the article linked about on The Telegraph. You can also go to the Institute for Digital Archaeology website to get more info, however, they are not stating the reason for the changes only the new plan is laid out. All very strange and confusing. We know who the author of confusion is, right?!

  • LightBearer

Whenever these “victories” take place, it only serves to put me on high alert. Declaring “victory” about this is childish and naive…. or deceptive. If these archways are not going to be erected, they will do something “in lieu of” for the honor of Baal.

    “Victory”!!!! You cornball.

  • P. McCoy

Born children were sacrificed at Baal; that’s not abortion. Personhood is accruedat birth. So called “pro lifers” support draconian Republican politicians that kill untold numbers of children the ones in Flint Michigan are dying.a slow death.

  • xyz

One helluva victory. America can sleep better now. For good anyway.

  • celtic_gross

Shame on you all, as I was so desperate to have 1 holy dump

  • MJ

What rubbish you all speak, this is from ancient culture who worshiped many gods, it has nothing to do with your ‘christian beliefs’ It is history!
The Temple of Bel (Arabic: معبد بل‎), also known as the Temple of Baal, was an ancient temple located in Palmyra, Syria. The temple, consecrated to the Mesopotamian god Bel, worshipped at Palmyra in triad with the lunar god Aglibol and the sun god Yarhibol, formed the center of religious life in Palmyra and was dedicated in 32 AD.[1][2] Its ruins were considered among the best preserved at Palmyra,[3] until they were further destroyed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria in August 2015.[4] The arched main entrance into the temple is still intact.

    • CarriedbyGrace

Not rubbish at all, get yourself a bible and you can read all you need to know about Baal (Bel), Molech, Apollo and other pagan gods. The bible has way more info on this than the wiki info you cited (without credit).

  • Joe Gannon

Perhaps people really can change things with their stupidity and bigotry .. oh wait we always knew that. Only the wacky far right could possibly take a noble effort to bring more publicity to the problem of ISIS destroying antiquities and turn it into a nonexistent attempt to promote Satan worship. Amazing.

  • Dragon Heart

I haven’t read all the comment and probably I shouldn’t. I just wanted to say this is great news and victory not just for a Certain group but for humanity as a whole.. for the light.. keep up the great work those involved in making this happen… onwards and upwards.

  • Silverware Snatcher

    Yey!!!!!! Thank you Lord!

  • Mary Martha

Apparently they did not cancel the arches they just changed the names to Arches of Triumph! We will get this and other confirmations on the 19th. God bless!!!

  • Phil

Carried by Grace, thank you for your wise choice of reading advice. The writing seem to fit perfectly for my life lately. Many strange things have happened to me since my tap on the shoulder from our Lord. One was while driving in a heavy rain shower into the direction of the sun. Suddenly everything turned into a soft red, the sky, the scenery and the road. I was in an envelope of red. I’ve seen many rainbows but never been part of one. Also, within days of being reborn I was offered but turned it down, to join the masons. Didn’t like the feeling I got from it all. I always trust that feeling, as in the past, I have felt repulsed, while close to some people and they have a strange smell, only to find out later they are really ill and one bloke died. Also, I get very hot hands lately, and a foreboding feeling on occasion, but this year it’s been quite bad. Are these things normal for receiving the Holy Spirit?
    God Bless

  • VeesaLee

    Jeebus, you people are nuts.

  • Seniorsquadldr

Come quickly Lord Jesus. I am ready to meet you in the clouds.

  • Beth

The issue here is not about the correct or incorrect spelling of words, this could have been a typing error which many of us human beings make from time to time, but let us not get lost and ignore the subject matter because we would rather deal in superficiality rather than intelligent discussion based on knowledge of the subject.
