The United States, Israel And Saudi Arabia Are Reportedly Pushing A Peace Plan That Would Create A Palestinian State

Many had assumed that President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel would make a peace agreement between the Palestinians and Israelis less likely, but it actually appears to be accelerating things.  For a long time Trump has referred to a comprehensive peace treaty in the Middle East as “the ultimate deal”, and he seems absolutely determined to get something done.  The key was going to be getting the Saudis on his side, and this appears to have happened.  Last month, Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas made a trip to Riyadh, and what was said during his meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has sent shockwaves throughout the Middle East.  According to the New York Times, the crown prince pushed for Abbas to accept a plan for peace that is much different than any plan that we have ever seen before…

According to Palestinian, Arab and European officials who have heard Mr. Abbas’s version of the conversation, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman presented a plan that would be more tilted toward the Israelis than any ever embraced by the American government, one that presumably no Palestinian leader could ever accept.

The Palestinians would get a state of their own but only noncontiguous parts of the West Bank and only limited sovereignty over their own territory. The vast majority of Israeli settlements in the West Bank, which most of the world considers illegal, would remain. The Palestinians would not be given East Jerusalem as their capital and there would be no right of return for Palestinian refugees and their descendants.

Even though East Jerusalem would not be the capital of a newly created Palestinian state, they would receive a suburb of East Jerusalem known as Abu Dis as their capital.

There is currently a wall separating Abu Dis from East Jerusalem, and it is hard to imagine Palestinian leadership accepting this part of the proposal.

But this is why having the Saudis on board is so important.  The New York Times is also reporting that President Abbas was warned that if he did not accept the terms of this new peace plan that he would be forced to resign…

Adding to the shock for Palestinians, according to Palestinian officials from Fatah and Hamas, as well as a senior Lebanese official and several other people briefed on the matter, was the claim that Prince Mohammed had told Mr. Abbas that if he would not accept the terms, he would be pressed to resign to make way for a replacement who would.

If the Saudis completely pulled their support from Abbas, it is hard to imagine a way that he would be able to stay in power.

So if a threat was made, it would definitely have some power to it.

Here in the United States, many conservatives are cheering news of this peace plan because they think that a permanent peace agreement that has terms favorable for Israel would be a good thing.

That is a huge mistake.

The land of Israel must not ever be divided under any circumstances.  A Palestinian state was an absolutely horrible idea while Barack Obama was president, and it is still an absolutely horrible idea.  Dividing the land of Israel would be one of the most catastrophic foreign policy decisions that we could possibly make, and we must fight as hard as we can to keep it from happening.

As a member of Congress, I will never support a two state solution, and I will never support the division of the land of Israel in any way, shape or form.  The status of the land of Israel is going to be one of the most important foreign policy issues in the months and years to come, and any candidate for federal office needs to have really good answers about where they stand.

In the Scriptures, we are told that one of the things that God will judge the nations for in the last days is the dividing of the land of Israel.  It is His land, and He has given that land to all of the tribes of Israel as an inheritance.

So let us pray that this current “peace plan” will fall apart, because any plan that would divide the land of Israel is a really, really bad idea.

I would be interested to know if there is a 7 year agreement or trial period associated with this plan. I have trouble trusting the Saudis. Almost all of the bombers of 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia, and the country has been found for several decades pulling strings under the table and collaborating with other Muslim organizations and leaders of countries regarding harassment and terrorism against Israel. If this is also about oil, I wouldn’t be surprised. God wins in the end, though.

9/11 was a false flag carried out by the elite. The MSM lied to you.

      • iris

I agree. The numbers never added up according to different scientists and engineers. And the supposedly independent panel W appointed left questions in my mind. For years, about half of those in NYC believed that it was an inside job, using the young terrorists to do the dirty work. What I found most revealing, was that 2 days later, Congress passed Patriot Act 1, which had been conveniently waiting in the wings; a 1200 page bill which effectively erased the privacy and I dare say, much freedom of speech, from law abiding citizens. Only 2 Congress people even read the bill.

How about bad engineering and construction material?

      • joanofark06

Only intelligent people agree that it was an inside job. Me included. It has been done before, as with Hitler, and also, with some of our past presidents.

      • Gandi007

Israel was intimately involved in 9/11

Sometimes I think Trump might be just another pawn in the game, I would not trust any politician as long as they cover up for the Illuminati/Freemason/Satan worshippers who did 9/11 and attend Bohemian Grove.

      • iris

Yes, many, if not most of them, have been to the grove.

    As Michael states,
“In the Scriptures, we are told that one of the things that God will judge the nations for in the last days is the dividing of the land of Israel. It is His land, and He has given that land to all of the tribes of Israel as an inheritance.”

Specifically, “For in those days [“the Day of the LORD” spoken of in Joel 2:31] and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather ALL the nations, and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat [Jehoshaphat= “the LORD judges”]. Then I will enter into judgment there with them there on behalf of MY people and MY inheritance, Israel, whom I HAVE SCATTERED AMONG THE NATIONS; And they [the nations-the UN?] have divided up MY land.” (Joel 3:1-2)

Recall: One of the reasons for the Jubilee year is to ensure the inhabitants of “the Land” remember “the Land” is not theirs, but it belongs to the LORD! Therefore, every 50 years portions of the land are returned to the families who were initially given those portions! It eliminates the greed of men to acquire as much as possible when every 50 years it is all going back to the original owner!

This seems like a pretty specific prophesy to me and one not open to a lot of various interpretations as to the outcome.

While we are not, as usual, given the details of the fulfillment of the prophesy, we are told exactly what is upsetting to God and what His response will be. We can choose to ignore the outcome scripture presents to us, judgment and destruction of the nations, despite the fact the prophesy was given sometime about 750 BC, 2750+ years ago, and choose to believe Jerusalem has become a burden to the entire world by chance (Zechariah 14:2 written during the time of the building of the second temple about 535-515 BC or +2500 years ago), claiming both are coincidences, i.e., bury your head in the sand.

Can you name another nation that has endured what the Jews have endured and still remained a separate, distinct, relevant, nation? Maybe there is something to this God thing??? Just asking!

Or we can admit there is something going on here that is out of this world and we had better be paying attention!

The division of Israel, and specifically Jerusalem, is prophesied in scripture. And it is prophesied in such a way so that those who belong to the LORD and to His Son will understand the times in which we live. Whether Pres. Trump is doing the right thing or not, the actions he is taking appear, at the least, to be a prerequisite to the fulfillment of events that must happen before the return of Messiah to rule over the entire earth.

      totally agree!

      You do not follow Christ.

And in Ezekiel 47:21-23 it says to divide the land

I was wondering when Michael would get around to posting an article about this. This issue seems to be largely absent from both the mainstream media and the alternative media. I initially heard about it from a conversation with a friend. Apparently Jared Kushner was sent to Israel this past May to start the process of this plan, and has kept a low profile since then. I completely agree with Michael on this. For the most part I have been supporting Mr. Trump and his agenda, but I am totally opposed to this “peace plan.” I should reconsider whether to continue approving of the President and his policies. He does not understand the Bible, how God relates to Israel, or end times prophecy. This would be a huge black mark on his presidency, and Michael is correct, it would be catastrophic for America.

God never required Darius, Nebuchadnezzer, or Cyrus, to understand they were fulfilling HIS Word when they did what they did. It is important to know that Israel will become an instrument of threshing of the nations a the time of the end. (Is. 41:15 & Mic. 4:13) Scripture specifically states the sons of Zion will be against the sons of Greece. (Zech. 9:13) Greece attempted to assimilate the Jews (Israel) into its culture. As you can see, that hasn’t work out for them!

We have to understand the use of the word “Zion” i Micah 4:13 is specifically related to the people of the Israel who are part of Zion, the Messianc Kingdom, a spiritual yet physical nation of all peoples who follow the God of Abraham, in accordance with Scripture. This word is derived from a Hebrew word indicating “grafted in” and so refers to those who are believers/obeyers of His Word, not just those of the Jews.

In fact, many Jews follow the Oral Law, spoken of by Jesus in Mark 7, rather than God’s Mosaic Law. They claim both are the same but elevate the Oral above the Mosaic. That way, you have to come to them to know “truth” rather than “the Truth”!

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

    • joanofark06

If you haven’t seen the video, you can see it on youtube. How can a so called “christian”, say that he’s never asked for forgiveness, or doesn’t remember ever having to, and that they just try to do good things? That came out of the mouth of Trump, and shows right there, he is not a christian.

I am truly disgusted about the way good news is ALWAYS followed by the BAD news in fine print! Obviously, it’s the US & Saudi Arabia vs Israel, What did they promise? What did they threaten? Gee, America, maybe Saudi Arabia will demand that we give ISIS a state too!

Why you Evangelist schmucks are so obsessive with Creating A Palestinian State- It’ll never happen! Understood? State of Israel and POTUS don’t want a Terrorist State next to border with the Holy Land. cut the paranoia BS.

    • Gandi007

Especially since Israel is a terrorist state

      • MaxRockatansky33

Saudi Arabia is much more involved..

  • Anacleto López

Israel is a pariah, criminal, terrorist State which doesn’t want peace.

  • Gandi007

If ya have the attitude that all the land from Nile to Euphrates river is “Israeli Land” a strict literal interpretation of Scripture you’ll never reach a peace agreement doesn’t the Bible say blessed are the Peacemakers?
