The Persecution Of Christians Is Intensifying As Anti-Christian Hatred Sweeps The Entire World

Earth Space Planet World - Public DomainThere is very little that the entire world seems to agree upon, but there is one very frightening trend that is now taking hold literally all over the globe. A passionate hatred of Christianity is sweeping across the planet, and very few global leaders have been willing to step forward and speak out against this rising persecution of Christians. In many parts of the Middle East, Africa and Asia, believers are being relentlessly attacked by extremists, churches are being destroyed, and laws are being passed to try to prevent the spread of the Christian faith. In some areas, the violence has become so extreme that Christians knowingly risk their own lives just to go to church services each week. Would you risk your life to go to church? In North America and Europe, the persecution is often more subtle. Even though violent attacks are still fairly rare, Christian beliefs are being undermined by new laws, comedians and television shows regularly mock the Christian faith, and many employers will immediately mentally disqualify a potential candidate for a job if they discover that an individual is a Bible-believing Christian. Sadly, this is just the beginning. In the years ahead, those that choose to be followers of Jesus Christ will face even greater persecution than we have seen already.

When most people think of “Christian persecution”, they immediately think of what is happening in the Middle East. And without a doubt, what ISIS is doing to Christians in Iraq and Syria is beyond horrifying. But that is only part of the story. In this article, I am going to share with you 10 examples that show how the persecution of Christians is intensifying as anti-Christian hatred sweeps the world, and most of them are from outside the Middle East. I have specifically done this to show that this is truly a global phenomenon.

But to start off this list, let’s begin with how ISIS has been treating Christians in areas that they have conquered…

#1 Iraq

Eliza Griswold is the author of “The Tenth Parallel: Dispatches From the Fault Line Between Christianity and Islam“, and he has spent a great deal of time examining the demise of the Christian faith in the heart of the Middle East. The following is an excerpt from a recent piece that he did for the New York Times

Recently, ISIS posted videos delineating the second-class status of Christians in the caliphate. Those unwilling to pay the jizya tax or to convert would be destroyed, the narrator warned, as the videos culminated in the now-infamous scenes of Egyptian and Ethiopian Christians in Libya being marched onto the beach and beheaded, their blood running into the surf.

The future of Christianity in the region of its birth is now uncertain. ‘‘How much longer can we flee before we and other minorities become a story in a history book?’’ says Nuri Kino, a journalist and founder of the advocacy group Demand for Action. According to a Pew study, more Christians are now faced with religious persecution than at any time since their early history. ‘‘ISIL has put a spotlight on the issue,’’ says Anna Eshoo, a California Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives, whose parents are from the region and who advocates on behalf of Eastern Christians. ‘‘Christianity is under an existential threat.’’

#2 Kenya

As I discussed above, the persecution of Christians in the Middle East is only part of the story. What is getting much less coverage is the horrific persecution that is going on in many parts of Africa. The following is from a recent CNN piece about the ongoing persecution of Christians in Kenya…

In April this year, hundreds of students at Garissa University in northern Kenya came under attack when Al-Shabaab militants from across the border in Somalia raided dormitories at the college. Separating Christian students from their Muslim classmates, the raiders killed 147 and wounded dozens more. Today, the university stands empty.

Christians in North Eastern Kenya have come under repeated attacks by Al-Shabaab militants.

At Sunday Mass in Garissa’s Cathedral, Our Lady of Consolation, the benches are full. The congregation is praying under armed guard but they’re praying nonetheless.

Each Sunday brings with it new threats from Al-Shabaab. Garissa’s Christians are told that if you worship here, you’ll die. One of those attending Sunday Mass, Patrick Gitau tell us that despite the risks: “Every Sunday I’m here it’s my cathedral. Yeah I’m here I was baptized in this church.”

#3 India

It isn’t just Muslims that are viciously persecuting Christians. In India, radical Hindus are regularly conducting violent attacks against Christians and churches. The following is just one recent example

The Evangelical Fellowship of India has reported a violent attack against Christians in the country that was committed earlier this month when over 200 Hindu radicals stormed a Protestant church in the town of Attingal, Kerela, beating up the pastor and some of the worshipers, and breaking the altar.

EFI shared the news with Fides News Agency, reporting that the attack took place on June 14. The radicals apparently shouted slogans like “Bharat Mathaki Jai” (“Hail Mother India”) during the attack, which was broken up after police arrived.

#4 Pakistan

Some of the most vicious attacks against Christians in recent years have happened in Pakistan. Sadly, the authorities often willingly ignore these attacks. The following are just a few of the incidents that have happened recently

On Sunday, May 24, a Christian man in the Sanda neighborhood of Lahore was accused of blasphemy when some Muslims saw him burning newspapers that reportedly contained Arabic verses from the Koran. After the accusation, a Muslim mob caught the Christian, severely beat him, and even attempted to set him on fire. A few months earlier, another Muslim mob burned a Christian couple alive inside a kiln after they, too, were accused of insulting Islam. The Christian youth — named Humayun Masih, said to be “mentally unstable” — was imprisoned and charged under section 295-B of Pakistan’s penal code, which prohibits the desecration of the Koran. After the attack on the Christian youth, the Muslim mob, reportedly thousands, rampaged through the neighborhood and set fire to Christian homes and a church. Christians in the region were attacked, and most fled the region; some of the mob was armed and gunshots were heard.

#5 Nigeria

Did you know that Islamic terrorists in Nigeria have killed more than 2,000 people (most of them Christians) so far in 2015? Why isn’t this getting much more attention from the global media?…

Since its formation in 2009, Boko Haram has perpetrated the killing of over over 10,000 Nigerians, including thousands of Christians. This year alone, over 2,000 people have been killed as a result of the group’s attacks and an estimated 750,000 have fled their homes. While most of the attacks have taken place in northern Nigeria, they have extended to Cameroon and Chad in recent months.

Earlier in July, Muslim extremists ravaged northeastern Nigerian villages, killing nine villagers and burning down 32 churches and about 300 homes, according to Stephen Apagu, chairman of a self-defense group in Borno state’s Askira-Uba local government area.

#6 China

The Chinese government has been brutally persecuting Bible-believing Christians for decades, but this year things have been taken to an entirely new level. The following is an excerpt from a recent Washington Free Beacon article

The CCP considers the rising popularity of Christianity as a threat to its dominance, China Aid said, and has used aggressive measures to intimidate members.

“The Chinese government’s persecution campaign included forced demolition of churches and crosses, the detention and imprisonment of pastors and church members on criminal charges, forcing churches into bankruptcy by confiscating church property and imposing fines, and manipulating state-run media to label house churches as ‘cult’ organizations,” the report said.

A local police force—including 600 SWAT officers and government agents—demolished the cross last year at Salvation Church, a Christian house church in the eastern coastal city of Wenzhou. The officers attacked 14 church members on July 21 and seriously injured five, according to the report.

Zhang Shaojie, former pastor at the Nanle County Christian Church in central China, was sentenced to 12 years in jail and fined after being convicted of “gathering a crowd to disrupt public order” and “fraud.” Zhang mobilized his congregation to petition the government in Beijing after local authorities seized property that the church had set aside for a new building. Local officials responded by detaining some church members and barring their travel to Beijing.

#7 Nepal

In Nepal, churches cannot buy property, and the new constitution actually bans people from converting to Christianity

The largely Hindu nation of Nepal has published a draft of a new constitution that would ban religious conversion. Father Silas Bogati, vicar general of the Apostolic Vicariate of Nepal, told Catholic News Service that “Christianity is not recognized as a religion here, unlike Hinduism, Buddhism or Islam.” “Hence, churches cannot be registered as a legal body, and we cannot buy property,” he added. “We are severely handicapped by this.”

#8 Italy

Normally you wouldn’t think of Italy as a place where Christians would be persecuted, but thanks to Islamic immigration this is rapidly changing

Accounts of Muslim immigrants taunting and even assaulting Christians in Italy are increasing. Earlier this year, a crucifix was violently destroyed in close proximity to a populated mosque, and a statue of the Virgin Mary was destroyed and urinated on by a group of North Africans in Italy.

#9 Canada

Canada is becoming increasingly hostile to Bible-believing Christians, and attacks on churches are becoming more common. Just check out this recent example

On May 26, a 22-year-old man of Muslim background was charged with alleged hate crimes committed against the St. Catherine of Siena Church and its neighboring elementary school in Mississauga, Ontario. Iqbal Hessan faces five counts of mischief, and over $5,000 in fines. On May 20, the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue that stands in front of the church was covered in black paint and the fingers of its outstretched arms were broken off. Behind the church, graffiti with the words “There is no Jew God” was scrawled across the brick wall along with a drawing of a face labelled “Jewsus.” That vandalism was the fourth time the church was targeted.

#10 The United States

If Christians stay in their homes and don’t say anything, normally they don’t get physically persecuted in this country. But in recent years there have been an increasing number of incidents where street preachers and others that do try to actively influence the culture have been violently assaulted. The following is one recent example that happened in Seattle

Two street preachers were brutally beaten—punched and kicked—by a crowd at a gay pride festival in Seattle and the entire melee was captured on video.

The preachers were holding signs reading “Repent or Else” and “Jesus Saves From Sin.” The video shows a group of people initially screaming and threatening the men during Pridefest at the Seattle Space Needle.

Television station KOMO reported that some of the attackers belonged to a group called NOH8.

A group of women tried to steal their signs but were unsuccessful. The video then shows a group of men grabbing onto one of the preacher’s signs and dragging him to the ground. At some point he was punched in the back of the head a number of times while others can be seen kicking the man.

Of course all of this is just the beginning.

In the years ahead, hatred toward Christians is going to continue to increase, and many believers are going to be faced with some extremely difficult choices.

What would you do if you were forced to choose between your job and your relationship with Jesus Christ?

What would you do if you were forced to choose between your life and your relationship with Jesus Christ?

Nearly 2000 years ago, Jesus told us that his followers would be hated and persecuted. So none of this should be any surprise to us. Consider what Jesus had to say in John chapter 15…

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, the world therefore hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My words, they will keep yours also.

Just like we saw during the times of the early church, sometimes the fire of persecution provides the perfect fuel for the growth of the kingdom of God. And sometimes the persecutors end up becoming extremely radical believers themselves. The following is one particularly miraculous example

“One of our YWAM workers in the Middle East was contacted by a friend earlier this year and they met up and he was introduced to an ISIS fighter who had killed many Christians already. I mean that’s a horrible situation, and admittedly, he was probably on guard,” Gina Fadely, director of Youth With A Mission Frontier Missions, Inc. (YWAM), said during a recent appearance on The Voice of the Martyrs Radio Network.

YWAM, a nonprofit missionary organization active since 1960, describes itself as “a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world.” The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) is another nonprofit that draws attention to Christians facing persecution around the world.

Fadely, who appeared on the VOM radio program along with Kevin Sutter, another YWAM leader, went on to share that this Islamic State jihadi confessed not only to killing Christians but “that he had actually enjoyed doing so.”

“He told this YWAM leader that he had begun having dreams of this man in white who came to him and said, ‘You are killing my people.’ And he started to feel really sick and uneasy about what he was doing,” Fadely continued. “The fighter said just before he killed one Christian, the man said, ‘I know you will kill me, but I give to you my Bible.’ The Christian was killed and this ISIS fighter actually took the Bible and began to read it. In another dream, Jesus asked him to follow him and he was now asking to become a follower of Christ and to be discipled.”

So what do you think about all of this?

The King of this WORLD NARENDRA MODI will save us

    • Mike

That’s’ funny, the prime minister of India will save the world. You will be sadly disappointed if you actually believe that.

    • Hammerstrike

Yeah, India is going to see some major action sooner or later, they´ll have to do what they need not because they want to but because it is necessary for them to do so.

  • Mike

This issue is the heart of all other issues of our day. Hatred toward God and lawlessness will increase before the return of Jesus Christ. Everybody talks about the problems of economics etc. The real issue is sin. All of our problems stem from sin. Jesus is coming whether you like it or not.

    • Hammerstrike

Not exactly a new thing if you look at everything that has happened in the last 2 milleniums,

how do you know it won´t be another 2000 years before the return of Christ?

  • Hammerstrike

    Hey “atheists” and SJWs,
This is what actual oppression looks like.

    • kfilly

They are cultural Marxists. Cultural Marxists equals Satanism. Just look at things Marxists idolize. Greed/materialism, secular, little respect for authority, no respect for human life, and they just want to do whatever makes them feel good in the moment. Karl Marx was not just an atheist as many believe, but he was a Satanist. He wrote a poem about choosing the devil. The Saul Alinski book “Rules for Radicals” also has tribute to the ultimate radical who got his own kingdom-Satan. The NWO will be a Satanic cult that approves their own state religion.

It was foretold that it would happen, and the christians are a peaceful people, maybe since we have toned down and become docile it is a fulfillment that was meant to be.

    • ClintJCL

You mean the same peaceful Christians who threw babies over the walls during the crusades, and asaassinate doctors in the u.s? Yes. Very peaceful type. Funny stuff Barry.

      • Evidently you don’t know the difference between Catholics and Christians, nor that the Crusades were a reaction to Muslim cruelty.

        • ClintJCL

          Catholics are still Christians, dummy.

          • Calling people names shows the weakness of your mind and point. No, Catholics are not Born Again Christians, for many reasons. “Let no Man lead you astray”. – Jesus

          • ClintJCL

You’re the first person to mention born again. Maybe next time you want to refute me, refute something I said instead of something you made up.
            *rolls eyes*

            christian means christian
            catholics are christians

Does religion really pervert peoples’ sense of diction to the point where they don’t even understand words anymore? Wow.

          • K

Not all who say they are Christians, are Christians. If I say I am an eagle, does it mean I can fly. No only God can tell who is a real Christian. You say Christians are not peaceful. Yet the only evidence you come up with, is isolated nut cases, and an occurrence that took place almost a thousand years ago.If you truly wish to speak out against violence. Why not save it for those groups, that still commit it every day.

          • Clint Jaysiel

Like the christians who kill gays, especially in African countries?

            Okay, let’s talk about them.

I think there is a concept you are unaware of that may help you to look it up. It’s called “No True Scotsman”. Google it and read it. I think you will find it informative.

          • K

I know the No True Scotsman argument. However I did Google Christians killing gays in Africa. All I found was some African countries have passed anti-gay laws. No the only large scale persecution in Africa is against Christians by groups such as Boko Haram. Who have murdered Christians in the thousands.. If you are comparing many thousands murdered, with some laws that have been passed. Somehow they do not seem to be of equal weight.

          • Clint Jaysiel

I tried to paste you a direct link to a google search that actually workis, but the site censored me. I see how it is here…

          • Gay Veteran

“…All I found was some African countries have passed anti-gay laws…..”

            instigated by American Christians

          • VigilanteCaregiver

” If I say I am an eagle, does it mean I can fly.”

What if they vote on it? /sarc/ :)

          • Gay Veteran

are you saying Catholics are not Christians?

          • I’m saying Catholicism is “universalism”, it is a “man-made religion” when Jesus came to remove Man’s religions, and it is often unbiblical in its assertions and tenets. See: “Eccumenicalism”, “The Ratline”, burning the bones of Wycleff, and the Inquisition that persecuted people who believed and held Bibles of their own, if you have any doubts of that “church” and its history being against Christianity.

  • AcceptJesus

I’m exited for Tribulations and persecutions and death for Christ.

  • rmc9

“…His ways are not our ways, His thoughts, not our thoughts…”

  • Shanna Alfrey

In our church our pastor knows many ppl who are on the front lines where they are witnessing first hand these former muslims converting to Christianity. They are also sharing with them dreams & visions of a man in white saying the same thing over & over “you are killing my ppl” “follow me” While it’s not reported thousands upon thousands of muslims are converting. I say praise God!

    • me

I have heard this before and take what you said as confirmation.
I have also heard of an increase in Jews coming to Jesus as well.
I think the fullness of the gentiles is coming sooner, rather than later.
On it’s heels comes the 70th week of Daniel.

(I have read this in a number of places. In fact a Group of Arab Christians from Syria settled into a Christian Church in Kentucky , or it may of been Tennessee. The Church had been and still is Southern Baptist.

  • DJohn1

The relationship between Jesus Christ and all of us has been one of peaceful change of people to the ways of Jesus Christ. The key word is forgiveness. And that is what makes everyone who is Christian a good target for these other groups.
I speak of people who follow Christ not those that know all the right words to say and then are hypocrites.
Is Christ close to coming back for his people? No one knows the time and the date of his return.
Do I expect him back in my lifetime? Not really. There are a series of key events that must occur before his return in accordance with the prophets.
Jesus is contained by the word of his Father in Heaven. And only the Father knows the date of his return. If it occurs it means Hell on Earth. So do not be anxious for his return. The book of Revelations is very picturesque and the images tell a story of just how bad things are likely to get for mankind when those events occur.
Many think a lot of those events have already occurred.
The Bible as interpreted by the Catholic Church, the Protestant churches is likely mistaken in some of its beliefs. I expect Jesus Christ to correct those mistaken beliefs when he comes back.
I also expect a terrible clash between the churches and those that pretend to follow him.
But this time, I think he comes with army of angels at his back and no one is going to crucify Jesus again.
These angels spoken of in the Bible occasionally are very much highly superior to mankind and all of his technological toys.
So prosecute those Christians at your own risk. Because once Jesus has been given permission by his Father all Hell will break lose on this planet.
These people doing this think they are so superior. That the truths found in the Bible are obsolete. They are wrong. Just like any teenager who thinks now they are half grown they know so much more than their parents. I have seen them make huge mistakes because of that false confidence that comes with being half grown.
Even yet it is not too late to repent.
But the time will come when it is too late.
I am not perfect and in this body I doubt I ever will be.
But when Jesus comes, I am on his side. And if that means dying, I hope I have the courage to face whatever fate comes my way. Even the greatest disciples of Christ had difficulty when placed in that position. Whatever happens, I will try to be brave. I will love the lord my God with all my heart and all my soul. And I will follow Jesus Christ, however imperfect I am.

    • Heather

You quoted, “So do not be anxious for His return.” What?
I am anxious for His return because I am, Titus 2 : 13
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.

You also quote, “Do I expect him back in my lifetime? Not really. There are a series of events that must occur before his return in accordance to the prophets.”

May I ask you, are you awake to all the signs Jesus spoke of that are unfolding before our very eyes, or are you asleep?

RIGHT NOW while so many prophecies are converging and unfolding in which Jesus told us to WATCH for, when I hear Christians proclaim (which is very few actually) they don’t think Jesus will come back in their lifetime, it makes me think they are not ready to give up their wordly life.
Can you tell me what prophesies have to happen before Jesus can come back that would take another 50 or 60 years?

      • iris

It can’t be much longer. The third Temple building could commence very soon, everything is in place. He told us we couldn’t know the day or the hour, but also told us to be paying attention to the fulfillment of the signs of the end times, in 3 of the 4 gospels. Israel has been a nation again since 1948 (the fig tree has always been a symbol of Israel). Since then, many of the other signs Jesus spoke of in those passages, are happening and many are increasing, spiritually and physically. Looking up, for our redemption is near! (^:

  • jaxon64

The book of The Revelation tells us that Satan, the dragon, knows that his time is short now.
He will wage war against the woman ( Israel) and those who follow her child( Christ Jesus).
We have not seen anything yet–but be of strong heart because the war has already been won!!
Through His victory over sin and death, Jesus ensured Satan’s step by step fall from the heaven’s to the earth to the pit and eventually the Lake of Fire which was made for satan and his fallen angels.
As horrific as this all is, it is only more evidence that the hour of our Lord draws near——-

    • Valdemar II

      No, the woman is Mary.

      • jaxon64

Uh, no–it is quite clear in the description of “the woman” and then later in another verse it plainly mentions that the woman is symbolic of a nation–
PS: Mary has been dead for at least 19 centuries-how could satan wage war against a dead woman in the end times?

        • A Clay

Uh, no Jaxon64 Valdemar is quite right. Mary is the woman who will crush the head of the serpent (Satan). I invite you, and all, to look up Our Lady of Fatima and Her message; it is appropriate for our times.

          • TheMatrixHasU

Blasphemy. Only JESUS crushes the head of the serpent. You are relying on the corrupted Latin Vulgate which uses the wrong word…ipsa for the correct word ipse

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
IT here doesn’t refer to any woman but to Christ alone as only Christ, not any mortal creature has any power over Satan. You cannot ascribe godlike powers to a mere servant of God

          • Elainee Perkins

            You are correct.

          • iris

Yes. Only God can forgive sin. Mary is not included in the Godhead, yet some in the parishes worship her as such. She was a godly woman and a virgin when she conceived Jesus, who alone is God come in the flesh, she became a wonderful Christian and is in heaven now, with her Lord and Savior. I think it grieves the Holy Spirit when people ask anyone to ask Jesus to forgive them. Only He can save.

          • iris

and if one can grieve in heaven, I think it grieves her, too.

          • Suzanne Stavely

Let me speak briefly of auricular confession and the arrogant contention that the priest can forgive sin. There is a curtained recess or box which is called the confessional in every Catholic Church. The penitent Catholic on bended knee there meets the seated Catholic priest and, as the priest questions, the penitent recites his various misdeeds since they last met. This is called “auricular” because it is made into the auris, or ear, of the priest. It is but one of not a few abominable practices introduced during the medieval period. In fact, learned Romanists do not deny that auricular confession became a practice of the Catholic Church at the council of Lateran, A.D. 1215. Pope Innocent III, of the merciless Inquisition, was its founder. Catholics, generally, do not know that. Here is one reason why they do not: the Council of Trent declared, “Whoever shall say that the mode of secretly confessing to a priest alone, which the Catholic Church has always observed from the beginning and still observes, is foreign to the institution and command of Christ, and is a human invention; let him be accursed. . . .”

My friends, here is God’s way: first, for the alien sinner when in Acts 2, the believing Jews cried out, “. . . ‘what shall we do?’ Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit’ ” (Acts 2:37, 38). No command here to confess to any priest or any other man for the purpose of obtaining absolution.

Now concerning God’s way for those in the church: when Simon, after his baptism as recorded in Acts 8, had committed a grievous sin, Peter directed him as follows: “. . . Repent there-fore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you . . .” (Acts 8:21-23). Peter did not direct him to confess his sins to a priest in order to obtain absolution. James, in giving instructions to those in the church, said, “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16). My friends, that states, “Confess your faults one to another.” It does not say to a priest.

          • rocksagebrush

“enmity between thee and the woman” does not mean enmity between Christ and His mother, Mary.

          • TheMatrixHasU

Where are you getting this? I didnt say any such thing. Enmity between thee and the woman is enmity between Satan and Eve. Thy seed and her seed is the antichrist and Jesus. Jesus alone shall crush the head of the serpent. Not any mortal for no mortal including Mary has any power over Satan. Mary does not crush the head of the serpent that is false Catholic teaching

          • Elainee Perkins

            The woman is Israel.

          • Mark Oakes

That’s the problem! you are reading the wrong book. IF its NOT written in the Holy Bible then it is NOT from God or God breathed words through divinely inspired men of God. Mary was not a Divine (supreme) human being! She was a woman of great faith who God used to work a great miracle through JUST like many other people mentioned in the bible who God worked miracles through. She was the mother of Jesus NOT a God or God herself. AND if Mary were alive today she would be highly offended at the notion of people worshiping and prayer to her. Read your bible please! Praying to dead saints and praying to Mary who is dead and has NOT risen yet is dead wrong. 1 Timothy 2:5…For there is one God and one (1) mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,
One (1) mediator between man and God…Jesus Christ!

          • Richard O. Mann

The Lady of Fatima is a demonic/satanic lie. All these statues that bleed or cry, or talk, are deceptions. The Catholic church is full of such demonic deception.

        • vdmt55

Then why does Jesus call her woman at the wedding of Cana and at the foot of the cross? She is not dead, she is in heaven, all those who die in Christ are not dead.. Did not God say, I AM the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? He is not the God of the dead but of the living. She is the woman of Genesis 3:15 who gives her yes at the Incarnation. She is the woman of Revelation 12. God is sending her all around the world to invite people to prayer, penance and conversion. At Medjugorje one of the first things she said was, ” I come to tell you God exists.” There are solar miracles happening where she is appearing, statues crying human tears and tears of blood, healings and huge conversions. We are now living out the battle between the woman and the dragon. Do not join the water in Rev 12 that tries to push her out.

          • TheMatrixHasU

Jesus calls her woman merely as a sign of respect. As people in any language other than English would often do. Its not considered a respectful title in English but in other languages it is.

You are reading far too much into things. Jesus was saying to His (EARTHLY mother, not heavenly), Why are you bothering me now about something that isn’t that important?

Mary’s spirit is in heaven but even the dead in Christ are still called DEAD, awaiting the resurrection and reunification of souls with their bodies.

God NEVER sends the dead to the living. Read the parable of Lazarus and the rich man and you will understand why.
Those apparitions that the Roman Catholic church follows are Satanic frauds.

She is also not the Queen she is the HANDMAID of the Lord

Luke 1:38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word

Repent for the Roman Catholic church is a lie, it is Mystery, Babylon the Great, Mother of Harlots and abominations of the Earth

False indoctrination from the pagan teachings of the Catholic Church!

          • rocksagebrush

I gather your use of the tern “pagan”
is derogatory. Instead of name calling why don’t you improve your argument? The Catholic Church has been around for centuries and they have their own educated, with several degrees, intellectuals, priests
on whom the Church has depended on for Biblical interpretation.
They are not going to depend on your interpretation. It is important in the teachings of the Church for it’s members to share a similar view of faith and morals.
The reason you are Protestant is because you want to put together the Bible verses and get your YOUR OWN interpretation out of them.
You get 2,000 Protestant churches, you get 2,000 different interpretations of what is forbidden by a verse.

Ok ok guys. Lets agree to disagree agreeably. We need to be united , praying. The woman, nation or mary … Good or bad interpreation, at this point we beed to pray asking Jesus to come NOW for his church. .

No, the woman is Israel. It is also the Holy Spirit. The woman giving birth to Jesus IN HEAVEN not on earth. If it was Mary, John would have said so. You cant read Roman Catholic nonsense into Revelation

        • Heather

Amen! Genesis 37:9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it to his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

The eleven stars Joseph’s referring to are obviously his eleven brother’s and he is the 12th. The 12 son’s of Jacob which later God renamed Jacob Israel.
          The woman is Israel.

Mary worship. Not a good thing.

        • rocksagebrush

You know, words have meaning. Don’t put your Protestant/own spiritual meanings into the mouth of the Catholic Church. I am guessing that you, like others, take a” Religions of the World” class and now you are an expert on Catholic interpretation.
Catholics don’t worship the Virgin Mar. You can venerate someone with worshipping them. Millions of people feel comforted praying to her, for whatever reasons. They know the difference between God and the Virgin Mary, apparently you don’t. Praying to someone doesn’t mean you worship them as God. If you can go to a friend or relative with a plea (for something), it’s not insulting to that friend or anybody else (or God, the saints, ect.). You are trying to twist something good into something (about it) that is bad , so you can insult. No one is going to change anyone’s mind. The Catholic Church doesn’t want your religion.

          • Richard O. Mann

Why pray to Mary? She has no higher position with God than any other believer. She can’t do anything for you. Why go to a lower person, when you have direct access to God the Father, through Christ Jesus? Mary was made the Mother of God, and Mother of Heaven by the Catholic Church, in order to attract more pagans to the church. The pope wanted to gain more power and riches, and by adding the pagan rites to the church dogma, they were able to get more members to collect money and goods from. Those who have bought into this Mary prayer as intersession between God and man, have been duped. Time spent praying to Mary could be better spent doing something else. It is pointless, and accomplishes nothing.

          • Maximillian Hallett

And the Church (before the schism) in general used Pagan symbology to make their faith more palatable to the people they were ruling over. What’s your point?

      • Elainee Perkins

No, the woman is Israel period.

25 “Therefore this is what the
Sovereign Lord says: I will now restore the fortunes of Jacob (Israel) and will have compassion on all the people
of Israel, and I will be zealous for my holy name. 26 They will forget their shame and all the unfaithfulness they showed toward me when they lived in safety in their land with no one to make them afraid. 27 When I have brought them back from the nations and have gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will be proved holy through them in the sight of many nations. 28 Then they will know that I am the Lord their God, for though I sent them into exile among the
nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind. 29 I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the people of Israel, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

        Isaiah
        43:1-3
But now, thus says the LORD, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And
through the rivers, they will not overflow you When you walk through the fire,
you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you. “For I am the LORD
your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I have given Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba
        in your place.
(There are Prophecy Scriptures throughout the OT and NT that relate to how GOD feels about Israel). The Woman is not Mary. The woman is Israel.

Any true Christian knew this was coming. The world itself has turned against Christ. Yes that definitely includes the U.S. So act accordingly. Render unto Caesar, the U.S. that which is Caesar”s, and unto God that which is God’s. In short render to the U.S., that which is owed to the U.S., nothing more. It is time to stand apart, lest it seem we accept these evil acts. For me that means no politics,no participation with any Government organization, beyond that which is required. No membership in any organization, that does not speak out against the evil. If we do not show our disapproval, of these evil acts. Than we participate in them, by our silence.

“What would you do if you were forced to choose between your job and your relationship with Jesus Christ?

What would you do if you were forced to choose between your life and your relationship with Jesus Christ?”

Well, for the first one… I’d go pirate. Plain and simple. It’s a job, not a career. It pays well, but I’d leave it in a heartbeat if I found something better.

Life or Christ huh? Well, I don’t think Christ would be too happy if you just got on your knees and passively let some scumbag behead you in the name of the faith. I think Christ would look over you if you chose to fight for him and live for him. Doesn’t mean you’ll win here in the physical realm, but if you stand up for him he will have your back. So in short… if my choice is renounce Christ or die.. no ammo.. outnumbered… no way out?

I also want to say.. the war on Christians in our country is disgusting. You never hear the atheists say a word about Judaism, Islam, Voodoo, Zoronastism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Native American Shamanism, African tribal religious faiths, Paganism. They ALWAYS attack Christianity. Now, why is that? Atheism is a religion in it’s own right, and the funny thing is that the Atheists don’t even realize it. They should call themselves Anti-Christianity.

    • jsmith

I’ll take it even further. While the tribe and their slimy lawyers at the ACLJU remove christian symbols from state court houses and other public places, menorahs seem to be okay, even at the front of the white house. Now, why is that?

This article places far too much emphasis upon the visible threat of Islamic fanatics. The most deadly form of harassment–an inner rot–is arising from within professing Christianity.

    Nothing, therefore, is said about:

    a) the popular acceptance of the LGBT sex-styles as a normal component of Christian fellowship,

    b) the teaching of “Christian” evolutionism that has the Creator giving inert matter the power to experiment with itself over billions of years, and, thereby, turns the Genesis creation narrative into a poem for the simple-minded,

    c) the knee-jerk ecumenicalism that welcomes the Roman Catholic Church’s pagan dogma (and paraphernalia) as sound biblical expression,

    d) the preaching of a self-directed salvation which rewards spiritually-dead humans who make a “decision” to accept Christ,

    e) belief in a porous “gospel” that allows subjective feelings, personal experiences and cultural/political convictions to be conflated with God’s perfect, finished work of love in Christ Jesus.’

Islamic hatred for us is in our faces. The deceitful hatreds outlined above are in our churches.

A dogma is a belief that the Catholic Church held from the very beginning. The Pope makes a dogma of a certain belief because the particular belief is being called into question or he wants to show how important it is and it must be believed by all Catholics. Read the Early Church Fathers writings volume 1,2,3 by William Jurgens.
Also read Karl Keating’s book, Catholicism and Fundamentalism, The Attack on “Romanism” by “Bible Christians.”
When Pope Pius the XII announced the dogma of the Assumption, (Mary was taken into Heaven both body and soul, Catholics have believed this from the first) the Pope witnessed a solar miracle three times.

That is why Jesus founded his church on the Rock of Peter. No pope has ever contradicted another pope on a matter of faith and morals when he speaks excathedra, from the chair of peter. Though the pope can give an opinion or statement that does, it is not binding. There are many Scripture verses where Jesus leaves Peter this authority. He is speaking Aramaic and says, upon this rock I will build my church, he did not say churches. He gives him the keys to the kingdom and tells him whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. In OT times the keys are a mark of authority. Jesus said he would leave the Church His Holy Spirit which would guide it into all truth and that the gates of Hell will not prevail against it. Before the Reformation there was one church, Luther himself said that he tried to do away with the pope but created many popes because people were breaking off from him and starting their own church.

      • Ridonkulous101

God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.(Romans 5:5)
And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us. (1John 4:13)
Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession-to the praise of his glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14)
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. (Romans 8:16)
And if ANYONE DOES NOT HAVE THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, HE DOES NOT BELONG TO CHRIST. (Romans 8:9)
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing (John 6:63)

The Holy Spirit will never disagree with itself. Those 10 “Christians” you speak of are self-professed, not having the spirit of God within them. These are those that spew hatred and bigotry…you will know them by their fruit … “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22)
Perhaps you have never met a real, spirit-led Christian? If you ever do, you will know it instantly, for they exude the aura of the One who dwells in them…and that is a spirit of Love, but also humility, thankfulness and joy in service, and a peculiar delight in being “last”. This Spirit is distinctly different from the spirits of this world. Put not 10, but 10,000 people who are in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit in a room, and they will agree perfectly on everything. They can do no other.

Only the flesh which is the container for the soul.

          • iris

And united with Him, we will receive new, perfect bodies. “In my flesh, I shall see God”. (Job) The flesh in and of itself is holy and connected to soul, mind and spirit. Scripture refutes the Greek idea of Gnosticism. Not saying you were saying that, but too many people have the idea that our bodies are inherently evil and the spirit or mind is all that has to do with God, who made our bodies.

          • Marsing83639

Well, I could be wrong but…..

16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21 envy,d drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

            Galatians 5

          • iris

The flesh being referred to there is when we walk in our own strength and understanding, trying to please God on our own, trying to fulfill the Law to get to Him or perfect ourselves or especially, live for ourselves only. What we could not do in our own power, God did for us on the Cross and He fulfilled the Law. Romans 8:3 says, for what the Law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.

Our bodies are holy, God made them. By the power of the Holy Spirit in the believer, we can use them righteously. Remember that verse in the OT, “God made man perfect, but man has sought out many inventions”?

          • Marsing83639

Ok, maybe I got ir wrong then. Yes I do remember. I thought because of Adam and Eve, we were born with sin. God made it perfect to begin with but Adam and Eve chose to sin thus corrupting the flesh because they believed Satan instead of God.

          • iris

Oh, I agree with you, Marsing, I’ve been a believer for over 40 years, and even though my hope is in Jesus, not myself, there is still a daily struggle and I sin more than I’m probably even aware. BUT, God is faithful to His promises, so I don’t have to revert back to the old carnal self and its way of thinking. He has and is and will, redeem me, one day, completely. We’re a work in progress, His work, and He promises to finish what He started. Too often, I listen to the enemy’s lie instead of focusing on Jesus and His truths. I just thank God that His grace is greater, and I’m not who I was 40 years ago. He took me where I was and loves me too much to have left me there. Someday, I get to go Home and will see Him face to face. It amazes me that He calls me righteous, holy and beloved, but what He says, goes! So in faith, I rejoice with thanks, rather than dwell on my weaknesses, because that is how I have grown in Him so far. And I know that faith in His grace is how I’ll be completed.

          • Marsing83639

Well said Iris, agree completely. I love having my devotions sent to me daily and really enjoy studying them. I truly enjoy fellowship with my brothers and sisters each week when I see them. I have come to believe there are no perfect people, only people. There was only one who was perfect and he sits at the right hand of his father. God is good :)

We can be expected to be persecuted. After all, Christ was. And there is no shortage of persecution. But I would not suggest that the incidents listed warrant or support the claim that persecution is “intensifying.” In the case in Seattle, for example, it must also be understood that the Christians were specifically targeting a gay pride parade. Not that preaching the law and Gospel is ever wrong. The wisdom of the two men is questionable, however.

Satan will be destroyed , So will all false gods. Your position, money, authority, your new cloths, new house, all you see here, have here, is Temporal, What you can not see, is eternal. You’re right, Tatiana, that’s the way this world works, but then what? We take ourselves with us. There’s more than this world and its futile systems. Besides, with all the technology now, if you got earmarked for annihilation by thepowersthatbe, they could just drive your car off the road into the ditch by hacking your car’s computer chip, if you drive a current car, not to mention all the other “tools” at their disposal. They want to instill martial law. I say, peaceful protest, fearless witness, but not violent retaliation. Let’s buy some time if possible, by meekness, even if it does look wimpy.

How about the very real probability that Christians devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ will activate the power given them from on High, to bind demonic forces. When true Christians come to understand who they are in Christ on a supernatural level, they will do what Luke 10:19 gives them the power and authority to do: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Remember the part of the Lord’s Prayer that Jesus Himself taught us to pray? In Matthew 6:10, we pray, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Well, what do you think is going on in Heaven? Amazing, victorious spiritual warfare that continuously conquers evil!

Jesus tells us in John 14:12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.”

Satan’s biggest fear is that the Children of God will start exercising the supernatural governmental authority over evil on earth, that the Lord God has purposed them to do! And the devil and his minions will stop at nothing to silence the true Church, keep it lukewarm, dumbed down, afraid of persecution, and aligning itself with the world system.

What if we daily, hourly, moment-by-moment actually declared and decreed, in the name, power and authority of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, what is spoken by the Lord God Himself, in Isaiah 54:17…”No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”

In our own power, we do not accomplish victory over the enemies of God. BUT, we can “…do all things through Christ…” which strengthens us. (Philippians 4:13)

If we love and serve Jesus Christ, we are alive now, just for such a time as this. In our earthly physical realm, we see the intensifying of evil manifestations everywhere, but even moreso in the spiritual realm. The spiritual battle currently raging can only be met with spiritual armor, for “…our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Put your Heavenly battle armor on and there will be nothing you cannot accomplish in Jesus’ Name! (Ephesians 6:13-19)

And remember, the Lord God gives His angels charge over us, to keep us in all our ways! (Psalm 91:11) We are never alone!

Reality is that individuals have actually died because they believed they could survive snake bites.

      • Marsing83639

Your talking about very, very few people who practice this in the whole world. Don’t think every single Christian around the world practices snake handling. Course Satan would like you to believe that.

persecution in the USA is so far mainly in the courts and government with some vandalism but it will get much worse in the near future with the government supporting AND promoting the evils of islam and homosexuality, and actively trying to eradicate Christianity!!!!!

    • Gay Veteran

hmmmm, supporting? U.S. government sure is murdering a lot of Muslims. as for Gays, legal equality.

“…and actively trying to eradicate Christianity.”

      unjustified self-pity is not pretty

      • gabi

To see something bad and telling others about it isn’t “self-pity”. Yes, some want Christianity erased. So what? If the Christians have a strong heart and faith in God and Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit, why should they fear of? When the city is surrounded and besieged, all citizens have to go to the walls and defend them with no fear!

        • Gay Veteran

“To see something bad and telling others about it isn’t “self-pity”….”

try reading what Bob Russell actually wrote

  • VigilanteCaregiver

    Get used to persecution.

Just remember that Christ said it would be difficult, but if we endure to the end His kingdom’s blessings are open to the faithful – no matter who they are. Anyone is welcomed, so long as they repent the best they can, obey His commandments, and endure to the end – His grace through the Atonement will take you the rest of the way.

Many in the Church do not realize that it is a gift to believers to share in Christ’s sufferings, certainly a tiny part of them, but we are being honored by God when faced with persecutions in His name. We must be about our Father’s business, sharing the gospel in love. Just like Daniel’s friends in Daniel, chapter 3, He will be with us and carry us through whatever trial we face. There were 3 possible outcomes; the one they experienced, getting burned but making it out, and dying in the furnace. They knew that regardless, God would deliver them. We don’t have to fight, the battle is God’s and God will win for us. The best thing that can happen to a believer is to be with Jesus fully. He knows how to keep His own, and for some, that will mean protection, for others, perhaps death. The point is to trust and obey, no matter what He allows.

We have quite a few events still to come, and the “feel-good, seeker-friendly, name it and claim it, prosperity and positive-word” gospel will kill Christians. Pastors, Presbyters, and even the organizations are too concerned with being Culturally Relevant (and fearful of political correctness). If they’d teach the Bible in their churches, then the people might not get offended every time someone said something they disagreed with.

So many North American Christians have been misled by their own pastors and clerics that I fear for them in the coming days.

II Thessalonians 2: 1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God…

  • Matt H. Basel-Switzerland

In Switzerland people who are witnessing Christ on their working place or are distributing Bibles on Schools are harrassed or they are warned, not to continue or they would loose their jobs….
Switzerland once seemed to have been a so called “Christian Country” but it’s not anymore….at many schools Christmas is not celebrated anymore because of the high number of muslim children visiting those schools…..and at some schools no Christmas Carols are allowed to be sung….we have come far…too far! but….Halloween is celebrated more and more….and no schoolboard would object this….

  • Andrew Gramling

Not to mention the recent Charleston church shooting. That must be one of the worst attacks on Christians in the U.S. in history.

  • enquiringmind

A religion that doesn’t tolerate other religions is no religion at all.
I’m speaking of Islam of course.

    • Reason And Believing

Non-sense . No religion tolerate any other religion that goes against their beliefs
The matter of which religion is true matters, and that is clearly Christianity .

  • metalpants

I actually kind of love hearing stuff like this, lol. Not only does it prove again and again that Jesus is always right, but it’s a great reminder that this madness is FINALLY about to end. I’m so fed up with earth, the world/society, and especially, its embrace of corruption. The sooner this putrid life comes to an end, the better.

On another note, I find it funny that the world wants Christianity and all things God far and away from them… but sad to say, they would only get rid of us for a season, and then they won’t have much left to enjoy after that (if God didn’t intervene that is). The earth is being killed at an alarmingly fast rate by our selfish greed. Demand is FAR higher than supply. So, when you run out of the supply source (the earth and its contents), well… that’s it. Have fun with the countdown to your last day alive in the flesh. I’m sure some of you have heard of Pascal’s Wager, but the reality of the world we live in today takes that wager to a whole new level. It literally makes no sense to keep on living as if God never existed and die alongside the world as we kill it, as opposed to believing in Him, and having a hope of that better life we all yearn for. Even if God didn’t actually exist, and you believed in Him, you would’ve lived a better life helping others and being useful to those in need as per biblical teachings, as opposed to living for yourself and killing the planet off. Basically, it is logically absurd to live in ignorance of God the way the world is going today.

  • Mad Mom

The “Rock” or foundation is Jesus Christ. The name Peter means little stone or pebble. The church was founded on Peter’s profession in Matthew 16:16 “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God”. Peter was never a pope and would be disgusted at such a teaching. Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. 1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” The RC teaching that the Pope or priest is the mediator was only adopted to increase the wealth of the beast church Jesus spoke of in The Revelation. And yes, The Revelation was directly from Jesus as it says in the first chapter and first verse.

Please study the Bible and learn the truth…it will set you free.

    Jesus says, Revelation 18:4
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

Jesus was offered once NOT every mass; Hebrews 9:27 & 28 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the
judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation”. These two verses take care of two false teachings of the RC church i.e. purgatory and the mass where Jesus is offered over and over.

Jesus says…14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” NOT BY MARY.

In the Lord’s prayer, Jesus taught us how to pray and it’s to our Father, not Mary.

I know of many Christians (bible believing Christians, take the word of God as true) in America, who have lost their jobs because of their faith. It’s happening now and it’s ONLY going to get worse.

It appears to me that the age of God’s Grace for His Church is coming to it’s fullness, which means Jesus is preparing to come for His Bride sooner than many realize!
    Even so come Lord Jesus!

  • Heather

The Catholic Church wants you to believe that Jesus founded His Church on Peter.Lol Jesus is the Rock, not Peter!

  • Keepcalm

We shouldn’t think of this as strange – the Bible says that those who live in a godly way will be persecuted. This is the NORM for Christians, or should be. And if we have already died to self, and don’t count our lives or ANYTHING in this world as precious, then death is welcome – as it’s better to be with the Lord anyway.

Sensitivity training is taught to construction workers. We are being trained to tolerate transgender and homosexual construction workers. If you speak down about their behavior you can be subject to discipline up to being fired. I still say at work sites that “the behavior is immoral and damning”.

  • Treena Joyo Davis

Interesting info…..especially after been on the receiving end of much persecution, hatred, and intolerance from Christians

  • Anna

Christians, let’s not argue with one another over mystical interpretations that lurk around the meaning of God’s commands to the call of being good and love one another, to games of thought and puzzles of prophecies!
I understand wearing crosses have been forbidden in UK not Iran though. should Islam be the devil.
In Mark 7:14 – Jesus says that the corruption comes from people, not from the outside, the devil is the evil people do. If you don’t believe He is God (and this is therefore true above all else) then what’s the discussion about?
Other people’s intolerance never stopped the Apostles to believe and love, the martyrs to do so. Christianity started when the world was consumed by pagan superstitions so they had even less basis than what we have today.
The only purpose is to find God and to love one another, and if you tell someone they sin and they shut their door in your face several times you will have done nothing wrong to simply move on and knock at another door.
I find it hard to associate self-pity with Jesus Christ, the Apostles, martyrs, the Prophets.
The answer is NOT a cryptic message in the Bible, but the Bible itself, concluding with Jesus Christ and His Sacrifice, no matter who says it is otherwise. God’s power is so Great (see St. Augustin if you are Catholic or Orthodox or you recognize him as Saint, he said “God’s will is not great than God’s power.”- on the Cross God overcomes His power with His will to forgive people though, even if they are wrong).
God can give us power to sacrifice from ourselves and still resurrect because He gives us this power of His.

  • MyheartbelongstoDaddy

You didn’t mention the UK where it is becoming increasingly difficult to be a bible-believing Christian, street evangelists have been arrested and incarcerated, bed & breakfast owners have been financially ruined through the courts for refusing to give a homosexual couple just the one room; bakers in Northern Ireland are teetering on the brink of bankruptcy for refusing to put a ‘gay’ slogan on a cake; nurses have been sacked for praying for a patient, after asking; a teacher was sacked for mentioning in a private email that she was praying for a sick pupil; an airline stewardess was sacked for wearing a very small gold cross; and so the list goes on. And I receive abuse most every day because, for reasons for too long to explain, I have access to an online site of a prestigious newspaper and will bring Jesus into everything I can in my comments. Not to be offensive just to offer my opinions, you would not believe what has been said to me!

  • mike h

Indeed Jesus you are a living God..you said that the world will persecute your people because of your name, they hated our brethren. Every form of hardship we will endure for we believe in you lord Jesus and I pray for those people Lord for they do not know and refuse to accept the truth love you LORD…
