The Dark Secrets Of The Catholic Church Are Starting To Come Out

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Vatican St. Peter's Basilica - Public DomainWe aren’t supposed to talk about what goes on behind closed doors when the cameras are off and the public can’t see what is happening. There is corruption in virtually every large organization, but those that hold themselves out as “spiritual leaders” need to understand that they are going to be held to a higher standard than everyone else. And when those “spiritual leaders” greatly violate the trust that the public has put in them, the fallout can be absolutely devastating. In this article you are going to read about some things that are deeply disturbing. An immense wave of evil has swept through major religious organizations, and the Catholic Church is certainly no exception.

Most people know that Catholic priests are supposed to be celibate, but most people also know that this is often not the case. But what some priests in Italy has been involved in is shaking the Vatican to the core. The following comes from USA Today

Lurid accusations of priests involved in sex orgies, porn videos and prostitution have emerged from several parishes in Italy recently, sending shock waves all the way to the Vatican and challenging the high standards Pope Francis demands of clergy.

In the southern city of Naples, for example, a priest was recently suspended from the parish of Santa Maria degli Angeli over claims he held gay orgies and used Internet sites to recruit potential partners whom he paid for sex.

What was that priest thinking?

Surely he had to know that this stuff would come out eventually.

But often those in positions of power convince themselves that they can cover up their scandals forever. Of course usually it doesn’t end up working that way.

Another Catholic priest is being accused of having up to 30 different lovers

In the northern city of Padua, a 48-year-old priest, the Rev. Andrea Contin, is facing defrocking as well as judicial proceedings amid accusations he had up to 30 lovers, some of whom he took to a swingers’ resort in France.

Initially Contin tried to deny the charges, but now so many women have come forward that he can’t lie anymore.

And one of his accusers is actually claiming that Contin urged her to have sex with a horse

He is accused of farming out some of his lovers to men on wife-swapping websites, according to The Times.

He always carried a briefcase full of vibrators, sex toys, masks and bondage equipment,” one of his accusers said in her police statement, according to the Corriere del Veneto.

She also accused Mr Contin of encouraging her to have sexual relations with a horse and beat her in the rectory on two occasions.

It would be tempting to dismiss these latest reports as “isolated anomalies” if so many similar reports had not surfaced in recent years. Sexual immorality appears to be running rampant among the clergy, and this is particularly true among the priests that are gay. The following comes from an outstanding article that was published by Vanity Fair

At the Vatican, a significant number of gay prelates and other gay clerics are in positions of great authority. They may not act as a collective but are aware of one another’s existence. And they inhabit a secretive netherworld, because homosexuality is officially condemned. Though the number of gay priests in general, and specifically among the Curia in Rome, is unknown, the proportion is much higher than in the general population. Between 20 and 60 percent of all Catholic priests are gay, according to one estimate cited by Donald B. Cozzens in his well-regarded The Changing Face of the Priesthood.

Even if the true figure is near the low end of that estimate, that still means that one out of every five Catholic priests is gay.

Like many in the Protestant world, quite a few of these priests will preach Jesus on Sundays and lead a secret “double life” the rest of the week

A few keep their sexuality entirely private and adhere to the vow of celibacy. Many others quietly let themselves be known as gay to a limited degree, to some colleagues, or to some laypeople, or both; sometimes they remain celibate and sometimes they do not. A third way, perhaps the least common but certainly the most visible, involves living a double life. Occasionally such clerics are unmasked, usually by stories in the Italian press. In 2010, for the better part of a month, one straight journalist pretended to be the boyfriend of a gay man who acted as a “honeypot” and entrapped actual gay priests in various sexual situations.

Another scandal in the Catholic Church that is making headlines lately comes out of Ireland. Authorities say that they have discovered the “remains of babies” in the sewers of a home for unwed mothers that the Catholic Church was operating. One historian believes that 800 children may have died there

The remains of babies, ranging from new-born to three-years-old, have been found in the sewers of a former church-run home for unmarried mothers in Ireland, the government said on Friday.

A report from an inquiry the government ordered in 2014 backed up a historian’s claim that up to 800 children may lie in an unmarked grave at the home. It said: “significant quantities of human remains have been discovered in at least 17 of the 20 underground chambers which were examined.”

Radiocarbon dating found the remains, which ranged from 35-week-old fetuses to 3-year-olds, dated from between 1925 and 1961, when the home was run by the Bon Secours Sisters.

And it is believed that similar things were going on at other church-run homes. In fact, law enforcement is currently investigating 17 other facilities.

We are living at a time when there is great apostasy in the Christian world.

But if you stand up and preach righteousness and holiness, you will almost certainly get attacked, and in some countries there is even a chance that you will be thrown into prison.

For example, consider what just happened in the United Kingdom

In what their lawyer calls a “modern-day heresy trial,” a British court has convicted two street preachers of a public order offense for preaching the Bible in public.
The public prosecutor in the case claimed that publicly quoting parts of the King James Bible in modern Britain should “be considered to be abusive and is a criminal matter.”

So what did they say that was so bad?

Well, apparently one of the things that authorities were extremely concerned about is the fact that they were claiming that Jesus is the only way to God

Prosecutor Ian Jackson also told the court, “To say to someone that Jesus is the only God is not a matter of truth. To the extent that they are saying that the only way to God is through Jesus, that cannot be a truth.”

I was absolutely stunned when I read that, but none of us should be surprised.

We always knew that great persecution of true believers was coming, and now Christians are actually being put in prison in the western world for simply sharing the gospel publicly.

In times of great darkness, light is needed more than ever, but often there is a great price to be paid for being a light.

“Now when Jesu came intothe district of Ceasarea Philippi, He bagan asking His disciples saying, ‘Who do people say the Son of Mn is?’ And they said, ‘Some say John the Baptist; and others Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.”
“And he said unto them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’ And Simon Peter answered and said, ‘Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God.'”
“And Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this unto you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I sway unto you that you are Peter [Gr. Petros- a stone], and upon this rock [Gr. Petra- a large Rock] I will build My church; and the gates of Hades shall not overpower it.'” (Mt. 16:13-18)
It seems pretty apparent that since Jesus deliberately made a distinction between Peter being a stone, and His Church being built upon a rock, a large rock at that, He is referring to two different things. The large Rock he would build His Church on is the “Truth” of Peter’s declaration, That He, Jesus, was the Christ, the Anointed One, and the Son of God!
Isaiah and Peter, together, also tells us Jesus is the chief cornerstone of the building. What building would that be?
“Then He [Jesus/Yahweh] shall become a sanctuary; but to BOTH the houses of Israel, a stone to strike and a rock to stumble over, and a snare and a trap for the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And many will stumple over THEM [Jesus/Yahweh], then they will fall and be broken; they will even be snared and caught. Bind up the Law among My disciples” (Is. 8:14-16)
Jesus was a snare to the Jews at the time He walked on the earth but how was He a snare to the northern tribes who had already been scattered earlier among the nations during Isaiah’s? Perhap He is a snare to those today who claim to be “spiritual” Israel but refuse to live as He lived!!
        Peter affirmed Isiah’s mesage of Jesus/Yahweh being a Rock and adds some detail while quoting David (Ps. 118:22) and Isaiah (28:16 & 8;14);
…you as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual housefor a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrificesacceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For THIS is contained in scripture; ‘Behold I lay in ion a choice stone, a precious cornerstone, and he who believes in “

Nice mental gymnastics. If you are so founded in Scripture, then how do you explain those pesky keys entrusted to St. Peter?

          • watchmannonthewall

Weren’t we discussing whether Jesus made Peter the first Pope like the Catholic church claims?

There is nowhere in all of the scriptures where God gave any man authority to overrule what He said.

Your determination of what giving Peter the keys means must not contradict God’s authority!

We already know Paul rebuked Peter for his sin in Galatians, demonstrating conclusively Peter, if a “Pope”, was not infallible. Where did the doctrine originate that the Pope is infallible? Certainly not in the scriptures where Catholics supposedly get their authority for belief in a Pope! God leaves little “facts” like this in scripture to test as to whether we will “think” about what we believe and jettision bad doctrine. Life is made up of choices.

The Pope is not an exception to God not granting authoity to a man to change anything He said. That is why the Word of the LORD endures forever. How long is forever?

The most common phrase in the book of Exodus is something along the line of, “And just as God commanded Moses, so he did.”
Even Moses, who was a type of Messiah, only did what the Father commanded him to do. Jesus claimed He also only did what the Father commanded Him to do and say. He never once contradicted anything found in the OT like the Popes have throughout the centuries!

          • Pedro

“Your determination of what giving Peter the keys means must not contradict God’s authority!”
Firstly, it is not my determination but that of the competent authority.
Secondly, Jesus Christ Himself granted His Authority to St. Peter. Jesus Christ Himself said to St. Peter, “whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven…”
Take up your argument with Jesus Christ, not me. Apparently, in His Infinite Wisdom, He may know more than you.

          • watchmannonthewall

            Competent authority? Who/What is that?

Scripture empatically states Jesus is the cornerstone of the church, the dwelling place of God, and the building is fitly framed upon Him. The Catholic Church wants to make it about Peter, who Jesus said was a “little stone”. Peter himself said the building is made up of “living stones”, of which he was one (no question about that), Jesus being the chief cornerstone.

Anyone or anything that wants to diminsh the role of Jesus Christ and exalt a man does not know who God is or what His plan is from the beginning. Peter would be appalled at how an entire religion has made him an issue when all he ever preached was Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God, as did Paul, and all the treasures of wisdom and blessing are found in Him!

As said earlier, God never granted His (unlimited) authority to man. The passage you quote actually says when His followers act/speak in accordance with what has ALREADY been declared in the heavens by the Father, things are bound or loosed according to their word. Two must be in agreement to walk together! Their word must agree with what God has already stated and when it does they are acting IN His authority. The passage is translated very poorly.

          • Pedro

“The passage you quote actually says when His followers act/speak in accordance with what has ALREADY been declared in the heavens by the Father, things are bound or loosed according to their word. Two must be in agreement to walk together!”
Once again, who is your authority? One of the 30000+ Protestant “churches”? The sola Scriptura people sure have a hard time being in “agreement to walk together”, do they not? Only one Church, the Roman Catholic Church, traces its roots historically, doctrinally and morally back to Jesus Christ Himself. Is your “church’ able to state that? No. I do not believe you are able to lay that claim. So, the facts of history point to only one Church. It is the Roman Catholic Church. Have there been sinners in that Church? Absolutely. But it is the only Church that has its foundation in Jesus Christ Himself. St. Paul and St. Peter were witnesses to the Truth, Jesus Christ Himself, and gave their very lives in testimony. May they intercede for you before the Throne of the King of Kings, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in Whom is All Wisdom, All Power and All Truth. May the saints and angels prepare a path for His Glorious Return.

          • watchmannonthewall

Actually, my church and family has dispossed me due to my belief in following only the scriptures. I pray for them and hope they heed the warnings!

Unfortunately, as will be seen this coming September, many previous “Protest ant” churches have decided to abandon the protest against the heresies of Rome and are rejoining her. Mother and daughters!! Sadly, most are completely unaware, in both cases, having decided they will follow the traditions and vain doctrines, philosphies of man!!

I like how Paul put it in Colossians: “See to it that NO ONE takes you CAPTIVE through philosopiy and empty deception, according to the traditions of men, according to the ELEMENTARY PRINCIPLES OF THE WORLD, rather than according to Christ.” (Col. 2:8)

Paul said we are to be taken captive by the philosophy and principles of Messiah!! What are they? NOT the Pope’s and not the pastors/teachers of the Protestant Churches!

Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, the rebellion against His Father!! Both of these teach the devil’s doctrine all too often while claiming to speak for God/Jesus!!

“Many [“most” in the Greek] shall come in My name [Jesus] and deceive many [again- “most” in the Greek]”.

It was so nice of the Bible editors to try and aleiviate scripture’s condemnation of others by surpressing the actually language to make what scripture actually says not quite as bad as the true statement! It is unfortunate they didn’t come straight out and warn people against the great deception. the apostasy, rather than make it seem some here and there would be deceived rather than that God said most would!! Jesus said He only said what the Father told Him!

          • Pedro

“Weren’t we discussing whether Jesus made Peter the first Pope like the Catholic church claims?”
Correct. Now the title Pope is just that. It could have been another title but what is important is that the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, Jesus Christ, who took flesh and dwelt amongst us, granted to one man, Simon Bar Jonah or Petrus or Peter, the Authority to bind and loose on this earth. His Authority. He spoke to no other man in this manner. He addressed him by name. Hard to dispute that. It does not fit with the narrative Protestants teach themselves but look at their lack of authority. Homosexuals are admitted with open arms in many Protestant “churches” at this time. How do you square that with God’s condemnation of sodomy in Holy Scripture? It is a sign of the lack of authority with which Protestants teach. That is the crisis, the crisis of authority.

          • watchmannonthewall

So you really believe Jesus gave some special power to Peter, who didn’t know that the vision of the cloth and unclean animals of which he was told to eat was really God’s way of telling him the Gentiles were not unclean like the Jews (specifically the pharisees) taught and believed? (Acts 10:17, 28, 45-48)

And also how he was so easily led astray by the “circumcision” (Jews) according to Paul at Galatia: “But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him face to face, because he stood condemned.” (Gal. 2:11)

Most of the Popes, perhaps all, have “stood condemned” as Paul condemned Peter! Only God Himself knows! I’ve read of the abuses and persecution of the Catholic Church. Have you?

This I know: Jesus and the Father call for us to follow them and no one else!!
Will you heed the call or do you desire confirmation from the masses/your leaders? If you desire confirmation from men, you have your reward!! Don’t expect anything more!!

      • Paul Patriot

Pedro, we have been over this..Jesus is the head of the church, not the apostle Peter.

Right, Paul. And for the umpteenth time, Jesus entrusted the “keys of the kingdom of heaven” to whom? John Hagee? Your pastor? You? Nope. None of the above. Only one man. That man happens to be St. Peter, the Simon Bar Jonah of the Scripture. Only one church has an unbroken historical link all the way back to Our Lord Jesus Christ. That is right, the Roman Catholic Church. Only one.

If the work of the major denominations are as dark as the world. Why are you there? Do you presume your Pastor, or elder has superior discernment to yours. Maybe yes maybe no. What I know is when they quote mans laws as a reason, time to go. I had to hear a freedom of religion argument. You should have seen the look on the Pastors face. When I told him God does not believe in freedom of religion. He says one way. He became even more shocked, when I told him God does not believe in freedom of speech. He does not approve of blasphemy, or gossiping. If we are Christian, we are supposed to be concentrating on Heavenly concepts. Not on poor earthly substitutes.

“But the Spirit explicitly says that in the later times some will fall away from the faith paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons…men who forbid to marry…” (1 Tim. 4:1-3)

“If a man aspires to the office of overseer (Strong’s #1984- “episkope- superintendent, the office of a ‘bishop'”), it is a fine work he desires to do. An overseer [bishop], then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife…” (1 Tim. 3:1-2)

“Now concerning the things about which you [the church at Corinth] wrote, it is good for a man not to touch [ Strong’s #680- “haptomai- attach”] a woman. BUT because of immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and each woman have her own husband. Let the husband fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise also the the wife to her husband. The wife does NOT have authority over her own body, but the husband; and likewise the husband does NOT have authority over his body BUT THE WIFE [Men, you can’t force yourselves on her for she controls your body! You also control hers!! Think about it!!]” (1 Cor. 7:1-4)

“Then the LORD said to Moses; “Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron and say to them…”They shall NOT take a woman who is profaned by harlotry NOR shall they take a woman who is divorced from her husband; for he is holy to his God…And the priest who is the highest among his brethren [the High Priest], on whose head the anointing oil has been poured, and who has been consecrated to wear the the [High Priestly] garments shall…take a wife in her virginity…he shall take a virgin of his own people…” (Lev. 21:1-13)
Note also in the Messianic kingdom during the 1,000 year reign of Messiah, Ezekiel has this to say about the priests and their wives: “And they shall not marry a widow or a divorced woman, but shall take virgins from the offspring of the HOUSE OF ISRAEL [not Jews!], or a widow that is a widow of a priest.(!)” (Ez. 44:22) If they are going to marry a widow, it must be a widow who was once a wife of a priest! She would understand the requirements her husband must comply with to remain “holy”!! Typically, a “virgin” would be willing to learn!
Did you ever notice…”In the days of Herod, the king of Judea, there was a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah; AND he had a wife FROM the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth”? (Luke 1:5) Zacharias married the daughter of a priest, he also was a son of Aaron. God said both were “blameless” concerning His Law!! (Luke 1:6)
Their offspring was John the Baptist, most likely the heir of the High Priesthood of that day!! Jesus was related to him!! Nothing written in scripture is unimportant!! Study to show thyself approved!!
Note that the OT priests were expected to marry, and marry a virgin at that. The oldest son eventually became High Priest when the father died. It is commonly thought among “Jews”, there were only about 20 high priests in a 1,000 year period of Israelite history through the last century and a half BC, when a non-Aaronic priestood arose, which existed during the time of Messiah!
Paul reiterated this OT requirement in the NT when he said we can decide NOT to marry but because of “immorality” a man should marry; it was a requirement of a “bishop” (Does the Catholic Church have bishops?), and was to be used as a test to determine if one could exercise appropriate rule over the house of God, based on whether he ruled his own home well!
Paul agreed with the OT commandment concerning priests, or those “mediating” between God and the people that these should be married!! The Catholic Church rejects Paul’s teaching and that of the OT while fulfilling the prophesy he gave that men (in this case, the Catholic Church), would “forbid” marriage. Paul prophesied that such a doctrine would lead to abuses, and it seems the Catholic Church is reaping the effect of those abuses to itself!
When are we, God’s people, going to study God’s Word for ourselves and leave the doctrines, traditions, and philosophies of men behind?? We really shouldn’t be surprised at the behaviour of those who deliberately, willfullly, ignore the Word of God while making up their own doctrines and teaching them to men via the Pope!!! The Pope is, after all, just another man!! As were those who came before him!! Have they all died?? I rest my case. Jesus rose from the dead!! Where is His body??

    • Pedro

And Jesus was a man. And He, God Incarnate, spoke to a certain man, Peter, and gave Him a share in His Divine Authority (“and to you I give the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven”). Why oh why would Jesus Christ do this? Perhaps He is a little wiser than “just another man” and knows, that with His grace freely given to a man, that man can do the impossible.

Oh heck, the Catholic clergy (priests, nuns, etc.) have been involved in more scandals and immoralities than one can possibly care to imagine.

The Catholic Church would do much better with eunuch priests. They used to have eunuchs singing in the choir for their high voices.

It appears you believe you know better than the Catholic Church how to train and discipline Her priests. And yet many thousands of men through the years of Her history have flourished as celibate warriors. My, my, how is that possible if they are “unsatisfied”? Better to stick to some other topic than one you apparently know very little about.

        • Jesus seemed to know celibacy doesn’t work for intact males:
For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
Why do you think in some Protestant churches a man has to be married to be a pastor?

“and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.”

Thank you for confirming the point. Jesus refers to the priests of His Church. Granted, the matter of priestly celibacy is a disciplinary matter, not one of dogma, but Jesus Himself makes the point of “eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake”.

          • And last I checked the Catholic Church is NOT using eunuch priests!

All the way back to the middle ages! And with all those scandals and immoralities, you have to really wonder, why are thousands of people still following this “false prophet”?? It just blows me away of what in the world people don’t get about this so called false, and evil “religious” system!

      • Pedro

And yet, Scripture points to one Church founded by Jesus Christ with St. Peter as its first Pope, appointed by the same Jesus (“You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My Church”). Are many “priests” and religious sick? You know they are. Does this scandalous behavior change the truth of the Catholic Church being the one true Church founded by Jesus Christ Himself? No. What may be missing from the facile dismissal of the Catholic Church are items such as the Alta Vendita of the Italian Carbonari (Freemasons) whose sworn goal was the destruction of the Catholic Church, the testimony of Bella Dodd, former Communist Party USA member, before the U. S. Congress in which she detailed the communists concern that they had but one enemy in the world and that was the Roman Catholic Church and that they infiltrated outright communists or fellow travelers into the seminaries (numbering over 1000) and other similar verified events. Who better to infiltrate but homosexuals whose deviancy and lust for duplicity is well known? Before dismissing the Catholic Church entirely perhaps justice would indicate a study of the matter to weigh what has happened in history and what players have had a hand in opposing the Catholic Church.

        • williaml

Read your Bible again, Peter Never was a Pope. The Catholic Church began in 312 AD. and became formalized in 325 AD. That’s 300 years after the Birth of the Church. The Catholic Church actually began as a political movement and incorporated many pagan observations and rituals to gain membership. In fact, the word Catholic means Universal.

          • Pedro

Let me understand this from your perspective, if the word “Pope” does not appear in the Scripture, then the man who occupied the role designated by Jesus Christ Himself, granted Authority from the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, God Incarnate, is not the leader of the Church founded by Jesus Christ?

          • So Catholics believe in 3 gods?

          • Paul Patriot

Read iris comments above, pretty much explains what the foundation was and that foundation was not the man Peter .

Read in scripture were the apostle Paul rebukes Peter…….no one rebukes the pope today to his face and gets away with it, yet Paul rebuked Peter to his face due to his sea hypocrisy.

Jesus him self is the head of the church.

So true. And the Church is universal, but there are many individuals making up the body of Christ, including those now in heaven, and those remaining on earth, and they’re not all part of a subset of Catholicism.

The rock that Jesus referred to was the understanding which was articulated by Peter, that Jesus was the Messiah, the Son of the living God, and Jesus answered him that flesh and blood had not revealed that to Peter, but the Father in heaven. It always was about God, not men, and it always will be. Besides, there were other people who articulated this same belief before Christ’s crucifixion, not just Peter. It was the understanding of this truth that Jesus was affirming. Jesus is the only Head of the Church, not an individual, God’s Holy Spirit is the spokesperson to each believer, not an individual.

    John 14:6

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Seems clear to me.

    • Gregory Small

      and survey says that,s a lie.Matthew
      Chapter 20;
23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

    • Joan Camara

Exactly! Too bad we’ll never hear a catholic pope say that!

      • Pedro

Pardon? “You are Peter, and upon this Rock I will build My Church?”

    • Pedro

And whose Church is the Catholic Church but Him who said the very words you quote?

    • iris

      Yes, very clear!

  • Jim Davis

I used to apologize for the Roman Catholic Church since I was raised in and always only saw it as a positive influence in my life.

But this new Pope is the final straw, and I can not defend it any longer. If I were still a Catholic, I’d be finding a new church. The current leaders are obsessed with promoting globalism and homosexuality if not also being homosexual pedophiles. There is no way in hell I’d put one red cent in a collection basket if I thought it might support any of THAT. I’d love to see a schism where traditional American Catholics break away from Rome and form a new church. American Catholic Church. Has a nice ring to it! Just make sure the new Vatican is nowhere near DC or NY, or especially San Francisco!

    • Joan Camara

This pope has surely been saying and doing horrible things, that go totally against God. I can see why everyone knows, that whoever the pope is at the time of the tribulation, will be called the “false prophet”.

    • Pedro

“But this new Pope is the final straw, and I can not defend it any longer. If I were still a Catholic, I’d be finding a new church.” Well, you have a point. The real problem is Modernism and its secular take on all matters which wormed its way into all sectors of society, including the Catholic Church. Looking for innovations with “itching ears” and the promises of a new “freedom” these traitors executed a coup d’etat at Vatican II and perverted Her teachings, attacked Her dogmas at their core with doublespeak and loosely constructed philosophy to the point that a new church (Novus Ordo = New Order) resulted. This Conciliar Church is NOT the Catholic Church but an entirely new but false church.

      • Paul Patriot

In it catechism books, The catholic church removed the 2nd commandment, and split the 10th into 2 commandments to get 10 commandments.

This is deception and blasphemy from the depths of hell.

        • Pedro

Oh, do tell. Perhaps you may like to cite your source on this “deception and blasphemy” so it might be verified.

    • K

I know this could not have been easy for you.But oftentimes the hardest things we do, are also some of the best things we do.

  • James Staten

    This discussion should get interesting!!!

    • Malfoy

At least the church stopped burning people at the stake! But then again they currently don’t have political power anymore so maybe that’s why they stopped.

      • James Staten

Aren’t the Jesuits the military arm of the Catholic Church? Well we see.

        • Pedro

They are pretty under prepared to fight militarily at this time. Their founder, St. Ignatius of Loyola, was a soldier before he started the Order of the Society of Jesus. And, yes, it was patterned after a military discipline.

      • Pedro

Error has no rights. A heretic who poisons the souls of others has no rights. If there is a truth to be defended, honored and promulgated then there is a battle to be fought. If there is no truth, then burning some one at a stake is pure insanity. Do mass murderers often receive a sentence of death? Resounding yes. Then why not those who take the life of souls by teaching false doctrines and leading them on a short path to eternal damnation? Again, the truth will be known at the Last Judgment but, in the mean time, only one Man said “I am the way, the truth and the life”.

        • James Staten

Amen, Pedro…it ain’t Catholic, Baptist Methodist etc. etc. …It’s called relationship. Men are born spiritually stillborn to God. Science tells us that physical life is in the blood. Well Spiritual Life is only through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Good News (the Gospel is 1st Corinthians 15:1-4)…if a man is drowning, and someone throws a lifeline, there is no debate,if one wishes to live. The Lord has provided the Spiritual Lifeline for Eternal Life, that’s why we call Him the Savior!!!!

          • iris

            Amen! (:

  • people could read foxe’s book of martyrs

    • Pedro

Would you be able to provide the exact quotation from Foxe’s Book of Martyrs that proclaims this “killing and torturing of millions of heretics”?

      • look up the number using a search engine & there’s different sources showing the millions the catholics killed
google is highly censored so that might not work anymore

    • Truthing

I have it and am reading it. It gives me much strength to read how others behaved when faced with torture and death. The very un-Holy Roman Catholic system of global religious authority is the first “beast” of Revelation and the most evil entity on Earth.

  • SantosGarcia

Please do understand that Roman Catholicism is an apostate religious system that has historically persecuted true Biblical Christianity since the days of Constantine. It is full of heresy from the Babylonian Mystery religion- [the confessional; calling priests- ‘father’; the whole ‘Eucharist’ instead of the broken bread of Christ’s communion; priests and nuns not marrying; the heresy of worshiping Mary and bowing to dead saints; the Pope receives worship; calling their false system the only means of salvation; etc.]

    Consider purchasing: https://www.amazon.com/Roman-Catholicism-Loraine-Boettner/dp/0875521304/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1489250414&sr=8-2&keywords=Roman+Catholicism+in+books

    • iris

I agree! I know there are truly born again believers in the RCC, but there are so many man made aspects involved, that they have an uphill battle to stay there, if they have the courage to speak the truth.

    • Pedro

Wow. You have such a depth of ignorance about the Roman Catholic Church. Have you ever read any Catholic dogma or catechisms? Or are your prejudices born of hearsay and malformation of your own making?

      • SantosGarcia

I was raised in the Catholic church. You apparently don’t know much… Why don’t you read ‘Foxe’s Book of Martyrs’; any history on ‘the Inquisition’; or Lorraine Boettner’s outstanding book ‘Roman Catholicism’ so you will not be so willfully ignorant! This recent volume will compel you to leave the apostate Mystery Babylon of the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ [last book in the Bible]… https://zionsgate.wordpress.com/2012/07/28/939/

        • Pedro

“I was raised in the Catholic church. You apparently don’t know much…”
Bully for you, SantosGarcia. Were you raised in the post-Vatican II Conciliar Church? If this is true, then chances are you “don’t know much” about the True Catholic Church, but have been indoctrinated by homosexual, Satanic and freemasonic doctrine. Please do look into that fact so you will not portray your “willful ignorance” of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Jesus Christ Himself.
There are many false claims about the Inquisition as well as numerous other historical events related to the Catholic Church. What sources do you utilize? Many, many false histories exist but it is important to vet your sources, my dear SantosGarcia. Otherwise, you will willfully pollute your own mind with lies. Be careful when you start making accusations of others.

What is god? But of course god is just a concept invented by man. There is no such thing as god in the animal world – their imagination have not reached the level.

Man invented gods for all kinds of reasons, many of then culturally essential. That’s why gods have been around for thousands of years. The purpose of have a god is to concentrate control of a culture, to establish rituals called worshiping so that a more powerful human organization can exist. Throughout history man have invented thousands of gods, and established hundreds of religions to worship them. Each god was created, and defined, as one pleases. To serve whatever purposes. To achieve whatever aims. To justify whatever actions. To predict whatever future. There is complete freedom.

Which bring me to the Roman Catholic Church – a certain ancient organization established to worship the Christian god guided by an ancient book called the Bible written by dozens of people.

Scandals and outrage about the RCC have been around for centuries. Half of its worshipers in 1500 split off to form a different church because of intolerable corruption. I just want to put things into perspective. All gods and religions are man-create, man-defined. What goes yesterday can change today. Like governments, laws, whatever. So don’t get too upset about today’s RCC. It’s just another marketing shop selling another god. Like all business, its main goal is to sustain itself, with profit.

    • iris

Man does invent religion, but God is the One who has invented man. A different perspective, no? There is a huge difference between an orangutan, the smartest ape, and a human being, just from the physical perspective. God is, and He is who He says He is. He does not require our affirmation of Him.

      • tacoma

Talk to any of the other dozen major religions and they don’t talk like “God is the One who has invented man”, “He is who He says He is. He does not require our affirmation of Him.” – the standard talk of Christians.

        Vastly different perspective, no?

Once a person is converted into religion and god worship, the mind is transformed, reduced. It can no longer think outside of the box of the doctrine. It becomes like an orangutan.

In all cases, every religion has its own god or gods. Each calls its god The God. It is whatever you want it to be. Only humans do such nonsense. Worship its own inventions.

        • iris

That’s because true Christianity is not a religion, it’s a relationship with the living God, who loves humanity so much that He purposefully died and rose again, eating, drinking and talking with over 500 people before ascending back to heaven, to prove the effectiveness of that propitiation, when believed, received and acted upon. Josephus was a 1st century historian who wasn’t a Christian, but he and others recounted that it was common knowledge that Yeshua of Bethlehem, who was raised in Nazareth, had risen from the dead.

As Paul said, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, because it is the power of God to salvation, for everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile. Scholars across the spectrum acknowledge that some of the most intelligent, logical, eloquent statements ever written, were penned by Paul, who claimed that the Holy Spirit revealed them to him. I’d hardly call him an orangutan, or unable to think outside of a box.

        • Pedro

You will be sadly disappointed when you die. It will be even worse in eternity. I pray God grants you the grace to turn away from atheism.

    • Pedro

You are a fool. Enjoy your days until you shall know the truth, perhaps just after your soul is separated from your body. It will be horrible. I pray God grant you the grace to turn away from atheism.

  • MEP325

Celibacy is a stupid practice because it suppresses natural human desires. When natural desires are suppressed for too long, the powder keg explodes. So, it’s no surprise these things are happening in the Catholic church and have been for a long time. God said to be fruitful and multiply. Since when does celibacy equate with being more spiritual? A stupid rule made by man-made institutions. Celibacy is not natural for the vast majority of the population, including religious and spiritual leaders.

    • Pedro

While it is a disciplinary matter in the True Catholic Church, and not the deceptive practices of the Vatican II Church, it is a matter for those who have long experience and grace from God, whose authority is through the Vicar of Christ, descended in an unbroken chain from St. Peter, whose ultimate source is Jesus Christ Himself. If you are a Protestant or a free churcher then who are you to comment on the internal practices of the Church whose Founder is Jesus Christ Himself?

      • MEP325

Who am I to comment? Who are you? the comment section police? Since when do I need your permission to comment about an observation I and others have made regarding celibacy and the problems it can lead to?

  • R.C. Gerber

Now I know that the Catholic church is to be the home of the False Prophet. It is just so much common sense.

    • R.C. Gerber

Political and Ecclesiastical Rome are most likely to sell the tickets to the front row seats of the Tribulation.

      • iris

It certainly seems possible. The RCC has been politically correct since its inception, and by the statements from the Vatican within the last 10 years, especially coming from the current pope in the last few, it appears probable. “Looks like a lamb, speaks like a dragon”. The flowing robes and fancy hats, the hand gestures and speaking in Latin, all add to the air of piety, but when we read about where the leadership has been heading, through direct quotes, conferences, etc….

        • Pedro

In spite of the hijacking of the Roman Catholic Church by heretics, Satanists, freemasons and Modernists, there is still a Roman Catholic Church, the Bride of Christ, in the faithful remnant that will be vindicated in the Tribulation.

          • iris

There are RC’s who are born again Christians, but Jesus Christ is the Head of all those who put their hope and trust in Him alone as God and Savior. As soon as anyone trades Him for denominations, leaders, buildings, programs, or traditions, apostasy is always present. This falling away that you acknowledge in the leadership of the present RCC is also going on in Protestant circles, large and small. There will always be a believing remnant, however. Jesus is going to return soon to rule this world which The Father, Son and Holy Spirit together as One, made, and then the things of man will be seen clearly by all for what they really have been; shadows, poor replicas, downright falsehoods.

  • carson

Wow, very very disturbing article! We are truly living in the last days of this world! Jesus is coming soon!
