Will Barack Obama Try To Stay In Office If Donald Trump Wins The Election?

Barack Obama - Public DomainIf Donald Trump wins in November, will Barack Obama leave office and hand over power in an orderly fashion? Normally we would not even have to ask such a question, but these are not normal times. This week, Obama publicly stated that Trump “is unfit to serve as President” and that he is “woefully unprepared to do this job“. In addition, he told the press that Trump “doesn’t have the judgment, the temperament, the understanding to occupy the most powerful position in the world.” If Obama really believes those things are true, would he really just stand aside and hand the keys to the White House to Trump? The Stock Market Has Predicted The Outcome Of Presidential Elections With 86 Percent Accuracy

Presidential Election 2016 - Public DomainIf you want Donald Trump to win the election, then you should be rooting for a stock market crash between now and November.  As you will see below, if stocks go up during the last three months before an election, the incumbent party almost always keeps the White House.  But if stocks go down during the last three months before an election, the incumbent party almost always loses.  Earlier today, Trump warned Americans to get out of the stock market, and if his warning turns out to be correct it will likely benefit him politically as well.  When the general population believes that things are going well, Americans tend to stick with current leadership, but when the general population believes that we have hit rocky times they are usually ready for a change. The List Of Establishment Republicans That Say They Are Voting For Hillary Clinton Is Staggering

What - Public Domain
Who would have ever believed that so many big names in the Republican Party would publicly pledge to vote for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election?  All throughout the primaries and the caucuses, the Republican establishment expressed tremendous disdain for Donald Trump, but they were unable to derail his march to the nomination.  Now that we have reached the general election, some of the biggest names in the GOP are actually taking the unprecedented step of crossing over to the other side and are publicly announcing their support for Hillary Clinton.  This shows that many of these individuals were only “Republicans in name only” to begin with, and it also demonstrates the lengths that the elite are willing to go to in order to keep Donald Trump out of the White House. Is It Just A Coincidence That Vicious Lightning Storms Hit Philly On The Day Of Hillary Clinton’s Acceptance Speech?

Hillary Clinton at Planned Parenthood - Photo by Lorie ShaullTo quote Hillary Clinton, what a remarkable week it has been at the Democratic National Convention.  Supporters of Bernie Sanders almost rioted several times, most protesters were kept in a “free speech cage” well away from the convention, a handful of delegates decided that it would be a good idea to hoist a Palestinian flag on the floor of the convention on Monday, and there were rumors that there was so little enthusiasm that seat fillers were being hired for Hillary Clinton’s big speech on Thursday night.  But there was some extra excitement on Thursday afternoon when vicious lightning storms forced those working in media tents just outside the Wells Fargo Center to evacuate.  The following comes from CBS News(Read More...)

You Won’t Believe What A Liberal Protester Just Did To An Effigy Of Donald Trump…

Effigy Of Donald TrumpLiberal protests against Donald Trump are becoming increasingly violent.  On Friday, I warned that this would happen, and over the weekend we witnessed extremely disturbing confrontations in both Arizona and Utah.  No matter whether you are a supporter of Donald Trump or not, what we are watching unfold should deeply alarm you.  Are violent protests, riots and confrontations with police going to become a daily occurrence until the election in November?  Will this become the spark that sets off widespread civil unrest all over the nation?  Unless Donald Trump wins the election, I have a feeling that he is going to end up deeply regretting running for president, because now his entire family lives under the threat of constant attack.  Is this what “political discourse” is going to look like in this country moving forward? Unless Someone Gets To 1,237 Delegates, The Republican Convention Is Going To Be A Giant Mess

Republican Convention - Photo by William Beutler2016 is turning out to be the strangest election season that we have seen in decades, and it may soon get far stranger.  At this point, most people assume that Donald Trump is going to be the Republican nominee, and without a doubt he has had a tremendous amount of success.  But because most of the states so far have apportioned delegates proportionally, Trump only has 44.8 percent of the delegates that have been awarded up to this point.  So Trump is going to have to do significantly better through the rest of the process in order to get to the magic number of 1,237 delegates, especially since not all of the delegates are awarded through the primaries and caucuses.  As Real Clear Politics has detailed, every state “is awarded so-called ‘RNC delegates,’ who are party officials with automatic credentials to the convention“. The Republican Establishment Has 4 Options It Can Try To Stop Trump, And None Of Them Are Good

Donald Trump Running For President - Photo by Michael VadonCivil war has erupted in the Republican Party, and the Republican establishment is in full-blown panic mode.  Donald Trump was never supposed to get this far, and now party insiders are scrambling to come up with a plan to block him from securing the nomination before the convention.  After winning seven states on Super Tuesday, you would think that the Republican Party would be rallying around Trump and preparing for a tough general election battle with Hillary Clinton.  Instead, the goal is now to stop Trump at all costs. Mitt Romney To Enter The Race? The Establishment’s Secret Plan B To Steal The Nomination From Trump

Mitt Romney - Photo by Mark TaylorIs Mitt Romney about to enter the race for the Republican nomination?  As I have written about repeatedly, the Republican establishment is absolutely desperate to keep Donald Trump out of the White House.  If it comes to it, they will move heaven and earth to make sure that he is defeated – even if that means Hillary Clinton wins the election.  Right now, Trump has won three of the first four contests on the schedule, and he is projected to win almost every state on Super Tuesday.  This would put him on a clear path toward winning the nomination, and so establishment insiders are in full-blown panic mode.  At this point, two different plans are being put forward for how to proceed if Trump continues to roll.  One is to have Marco Rubio exit the race so that Mitt Romney can run against Trump, and the other is to run a third party candidate against Trump and Clinton in the fall. Disaster For Donald Trump In Iowa And The Probability Of A Brokered Convention Just Went Way Up

Donald Trump Caricature - Photo from Max GoldbergThis isn’t how it was supposed to go for Donald Trump. Iowa was supposed to be the first in a series of convincing wins that would cement his status as the inevitable nominee of the Republican Party. But instead, Iowa dealt a very serious blow to Trump’s candidacy, and it threw the race for the Republican nomination wide open. Of course Trump is far from dead, but now New Hampshire becomes a must win for him. If Trump does not win in New Hampshire where he is heavily favored, he will be 0-2 and it will send the political sharks in the Republican Party into a feeding frenzy. As I will explain below, Trump needs to win at least 60 percent of the delegates before the convention to secure the nomination, and as I write this tonight it appears to be extremely doubtful that he will be able to do that. If he can only pull in 24 percent of the vote in Iowa, then he definitely does not have the overwhelming momentum that many people believed that he had. (Read More...)
