Russia Is Preparing For A Nuclear War With The United States

russian-nuclear-missile-launchIn Russia there is talk that war with the United States is inevitable, and they are feverishly preparing to win such a war when it happens. Thanks to tensions over Ukraine, Syria and the price of oil, U.S. relations with Russia are the worst that they have been since at least the end of the Cold War. In fact, one false move could result in U.S. and Russian forces shooting at each other in Syria as you will see below. The Russians have worked incredibly hard to upgrade and modernize their military in recent years, but meanwhile the U.S. military is being transformed into a radically politically-correct social experiment by the Obama administration. Most Americans simply assume that we will never fight a war with Russia, and that if for some reason we did that we would win easily. Unfortunately, things have changed dramatically over the past decade, and the truth is that the Russians now have the upper hand.

Most Americans are accustomed to thinking that we have such an overwhelming strategic nuclear arsenal that nobody would ever dare mess with us. At one time that was true, but now it isn’t. In fact, the size of the U.S. strategic nuclear arsenal has been reduced by more than 95 percent since the end of the Cold War, and now the Russians actually have more deployed nuclear warheads than we do. The following comes from the Daily Beast

While the U.S. military has been steadily cutting the number of nukes it loads on submarines and bombers and in missile silos, Russian forces have recently been adding more.

Seemingly more worrying for the United States, Russia’s 1,796 deployed warheads exceed—by a whopping 246 weapons—the cap of 1,550 deployed nuclear weapons that Moscow and Washington agreed to as part of the 2011 New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty.

The United States, meanwhile, is already well below the New START cap. America’s missile submarines, nuclear-capable heavy bombers, and land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles are armed with just 1,367 warheads, the State Department says.

But it isn’t just the number of warheads that we need to be concerned about. The Russians have developed a brand new intercontinental ballistic missile known as “the Sarmat” that is far more advanced than anything the U.S. currently has deployed…

The Sarmat will weigh at least 100-tons and carry a 10-ton payload. That means the missile could carry as many as 15 independently targeted thermo-nuclear warheads. It has a range of at least 6,000 miles. Once it is operational, it will be the largest ICBM ever built.

Like other modern Russian ICBMs such as the Yars, Topol-M and the Bulava, the Sarmat is being designed specifically to overcome ballistic missile defenses using a combination of decoys, a host of countermeasures and sheer speed. It might also be equipped with maneuvering warheads—which would make it much more difficult to intercept.

We have no way to stop the Sarmat, so once it is launched we are defenseless against it.

And each missile carries 15 independently targeted warheads, and so that means that for each missile that goes up, 15 warheads come down. Every one of those warheads can be directed to a different city, and so one Sarmat missile could essentially destroy an area approximately the size of Texas.

Meanwhile, the U.S. military continues to use hopelessly outdated technology. 60 Minutes has shown that many of our nuclear silos are still using rotary phones and the kind of 8-inch floppy disks that you can hold in your hand and actually flop around. And the Obama administration plans to keep Minuteman intercontinental ballistic missiles that were originally deployed in the 1960s and 1970s in service until 2030.

Of even greater concern than the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile are the “black hole submarines” that Russia has developed. These stealth submarines are so quiet and so invisible that they can come right up to our coastlines without us even knowing that they are there.

So someday a fleet of Russian submarines may suddenly surface just off both coasts, launch a barrage of nuclear missiles at us, and we would only have moments to try to decide what to do before our cities, our nuclear forces and our leadership started getting hit by nukes.

And guess what? The Russians have now developed even newer submarines that are even quieter and stealthier than the subs that the U.S. Navy referred to as “black holes”

“The stealth capabilities of Russia’s new Lada-class diesel-electric submarines far exceed those of their predecessors, Admiraty Shipyard’s CEO Alexander Buzakov told the Russian press.

“According to Buzakov, the new vessels are even stealthier than Russian Kilo-class submarines, thought to be one of the quietest diesel-electric submarine classes in the world and dubbed “black holes” for their ability to “disappear” from sonars.

“The new submarines are able to maintain such a low profile thanks to a clever implementation of a next-generation anti-reflective acoustic coating and a new improved hydro-acoustic system, Buzakov said.

In a surprise attack scenario, the U.S. may be able to get some missiles off at the Russians, but the Russians also have the most advanced anti-ballistic missile systems in the entire world. In fact, it is believed that the S-500 system will be able to intercept any of our missiles before they even get to Russia. The following info about the S-500 comes from

The S-500 is not an upgrade of the S-400, but a new design. It uses a lot of new technology and is superior to the S-400. It was designed to intercept ballistic missiles. It is planned to have a range of 500-600 km and hit targets at altitudes as high as 40 km. Some sources claim that this system is capable of tracking 5-20 ballistic targets and intercepting up to 5-10 ballistic targets simultaneously. It can defeat ballistic missiles traveling at 5-7 kilometers per second. It has been reported that this air defense system can also target low orbital satellites. It is planned that the S-500 will shield Moscow and the regions around it. It will replace the current A-135 anti-ballistic missile system. The S-500 missiles will be used only against the most important targets, such as intercontinental ballistic missiles, AWACS and jamming aircraft.

And you may have heard that the Russians have been deploying S-300 and S-400 missile systems to Syria. After hearing reports that the Obama administration may conduct direct strikes against Syrian military positions, the Russians responded by reminding the U.S. that the S-300 and S-400 systems will be used against any targets that attack areas controlled by the Syrian government. The following comes from RT

Russia’s Defense Ministry has cautioned the US-led coalition of carrying out airstrikes on Syrian army positions, adding in Syria there are numerous S-300 and S-400 air defense systems up and running.

Russia currently has S-400 and S-300 air-defense systems deployed to protect its troops stationed at the Tartus naval supply base and the Khmeimim airbase. The radius of the weapons reach may be “a surprise” to all unidentified flying objects, Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson General Igor Konashenkov said.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, any airstrike or missile hitting targets in territory controlled by the Syrian government would put Russian personnel in danger.

And the official Russian embassy account on Twitter has issued an ominous warning as well…

All jokes aside, will take every defensive measure necessary to protect its personnel stationed in from terrorist threat.

So what would happen if U.S. military aircraft started getting shot down by the Russians in Syria?

I don’t know the answer to that question, and let’s hope that we don’t find out.

Another thing that has raised a lot of eyebrows is a massive “civil defense drill” in Russia that just concluded that involved 40 million people. Many believe that the primary purpose of this drill was to prepare the population for a nuclear war. The following comes from a major British news source

The huge four-day “civil defence” drill has set alarm bells ringing in Washington and London, with tensions already high over disagreements in Syria.

Following a breakdown in communication between the USA and Russia, the Kremlin has now organised the huge emergency practice drill – either as a show of force or something more sinister.

The drill will prepare Russian citizens for “large natural and man-made disasters”, according to the country’s Ministery for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disaster.

The ministry revealed 40 million civilians, 200,000 emergency rescuers and 50,000 units of equipment are involved in the war game, which is running from October 4 to October 7.

Most Americans don’t realize this, but there are hundreds and hundreds of nuclear bomb shelters in Moscow alone. If a nuclear war were to start, Russian citizens are going to have somewhere to go.

Meanwhile, here in the United States no provision has been made for the general population. When the missiles start falling the only thing that will be left for us to do will be to kiss ourselves goodbye.

It seems like our relationship with Russia gets worse with each passing week. This week, the Obama administration officially accused the Russians of hacking into the DNC and interfering in our elections

After months of speculation whether the US would officially accuse Russia of being responsible for various intrusions and hacks, primarily involving the Democratic party, moments ago we finally got the long-anticipated confirmation when the US named Russia as the actor behind the hacking attempts on political organizations and, more importantly, state election systems and accused Putin of carrying out a wide-ranging campaign to interfere with the 2016 elections, including by hacking the computers of the Democratic National Committee and other political officials.

In a statement, the US “intelligence community” said that it is “confident” that the Russian government “directed the recent compromises of emails from US persons and institutions, including from US political organisations”, the Department of Homeland Security and Director of National Intelligence on Election Security said in a joint statement.

The US added that “these thefts and disclosures are intended to interfere with the US election process”.

Over in Russia, they are very upset with us as well.

The Russians believe that the U.S. was responsible for the overthrow of the democratically-elected government in Ukraine, they believe that the U.S. helped start the civil war in Syria while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State (and this is true), and they believe that the U.S. pushed the price of oil way down in order to hurt the Russian economy.

And it isn’t just the Russian leadership that is very angry with the United States. According to Gallup, American leadership has a 1 percent approval rating in Russia at this point.

If you listen to Russian media, there is constant talk of war. The Russians consider the U.S. to be the great force for evil in the world, and they consider themselves to be the great force for good in the world. And there seems to be this overwhelming belief that an ultimate confrontation between good and evil is inevitable. Just consider the following excerpt from an article authored by leading Russian thinker Alexander Dugin entitled “Third World War Has Never Been So Close“…

The globalist US leadership obviously cannot rule the whole world and, what’s more, the threat posed by Trump puts their control over America itself into question. Now, while the puppet Barack Obama is still in office and the globalist candidate Hillary Clinton is falling apart in front of American voters’ very eyes, is the last chance to start a war. This would allow them to postpone elections or force Trump, if he were to win, to begin his presidency in catastrophic conditions. Thus, the US neoconservatives and globalists need war. And fast, before it’s too late. If Trump gets into the White House when there will be peace, then there will be no such war, at least for the foreseeable future. And this would spell the end of the omnipotence of the maniacal globalist elites.

Thus, everything at this point is very, very serious. NATO’s ideologues and the US globalists falling into the abyss need war right now – before the American elections. War against us. Not so much for victory, but for the process itself. This is the only way for them to prolong their dominance and divert the attention of Americans and the whole world from their endless series of failures and crimes. The globalists’ game has been revealed. Soon enough, they’ll have to step down from power and appear before court. Only war can save their situation.

But what about us? We don’t need war. Not now, now tomorrow, never. Never in history have we needed war. But we have constantly fought and, in fact, we have almost never lost. The cost entailed terrible losses and colossal efforts, but we won. And we will always win. If this were not so, then today we wouldn’t have such an enormous country free from foreign control.

Sadly, most ordinary Americans aren’t paying attention to any of this.

Most ordinary Americans still think that the Russians are “our friends” and that there is not even the slightest possibility that we could go to war with them.

Let us certainly hope that war with Russia does not happen any time soon, because there is a very good chance that we would not wind up on the winning side.

Bible prophecy fails to mention the US in end times; Russia on the other hand is noted as a key player. Sobering thought. Nationally, we’ve done much to offend God and He has used nations to judge other nations in the past. We should be on our knees in prayer.

It may also be referring the the world wide religious system in end times, (revised Roman empire, Catholic church)

Just finished reading a very excellent book, “Come Out of Her My People” by C.J. Koster. A real eye opener about how sun-god worship has infiltrated EVERY aspect of our culture. Not only ours, but the entire world’s and much of it pushed in the western world by the RCC.

I recommend reading the book, about 130 pages which can be found on Amazon. It has nearly 300 footnotes and an Appendix. Lots of things to think about and compare to scripture, though the author references hundreds of verses to support his positions!

Yes, the end time world-wide religious system is a sun worshipping one, though carefully hidden, pushed by the RCC, and even many Protestant demoninations in the West. The Protestant’s have lost their way.

      • Chris Gerber

Babylon the great is a conglomeration of all the Gentile nations in coalition together.. One World Government. The U.S. is part of that and not mentioned individually in the Bible.

        • Chris Gerber

Russia is mentioned individually because of their relationship to attacks (wars?) on Israel in the end times. China and N. Korea may be part of the “Kings of the East” that are mentioned as well.

          • iris

Yes, the one world system; political, economic and religious. My understanding is that Russia singly will try to invade Israel after Christ’s reign of a thousand years, whether that is literal or figurative, since His understanding of time is different from our own. I do tend to lean with the literal, though.

    • Matthew King

America is Mystery Babylon and leading the Beast system, New World Order, that takes over the world. Our judgement is coming, in “one hour” America will fall. I think that means one year, but I also think that year just started…

      • watchmannonthewall

The pattern of scripture would seem to indicate the “one hour” is literal. Babylon fell in one night as the Medes/Persians defeated it the same night Daniel gave the interpretation of the hand writing appearing on the wall during Belshazzar’s feast using the gold and silver vessels to drink wine in, taken from the temple in Jerusalem.

The message was “Meme, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin” and the interpretation was, “God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it. You have been weighted in the scales and found deficient. Your kingdom has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians.”

Scripture records the following (Daniel 5:30): “That SAME night, Belshazzar the Chaldean king was slain.” They were partying as the enemy was breaching the city! “And they knew not until the Flood came and took them all away”! This is a pattern in scripture.

God expects us to know and understand the patterns He has laid out in scripture. The pattern of Babylon’s destruction occurred in “one night”. Mystery Babylon will be destroyed in “one hour”.
I am not of the opinion the U.S. is “THE” Mystery Babylon. I do think is may well be “A” mystery Babylon, and a forerumnner of the real one.

As one well known Bible teacher points out, “It isn’t has this event happened. It is how MANY times has it happened with ONE complete fulfillment.”

      • HerrinSchadenfreude

And so who does that make the Whore of Babylon? I’m starting to have to really take a look at that Bible thing now. They’re too good with the predictions.

Perhaps the daughter of Babylon? In Jeremiah 50-51 the phrase Hindermost of the nations is used. Rabbis for centuries by my understanding have understood this to be a young nation compared to the other nations of the world, the last of the great nations, an end time nation. The Hammer of the earth is broken asunder, an idiom for the Policeman of the world. She is destroyed in a surprise attack. There have been numerous scholars through the years that believe many scriptural references perhaps point toward America? Pastor R A Coombes, who wrote the book “America the Babylon”, considered by many as a classic in this area of bible study, gives about 60 Characteristics from scripture. You can watch a presentation given in 1998 at the Prophecy Club on you-tube. It is a 2 1/2 hour presentation. This country destroyed is a mingled people from her beginning, she sits on many waters, is rich beyond measure, has a large Jewish population, and is the economic engine for the world. In “One Hour’s Time” great riches come to absolutely nothing. His bible references basically covers Jeremiah 50-51, Revelation 17-18, portions of Isaiah 13-18 and Isaiah 47? Regardless, Our only Hope is 1st Corinthians 15:1-4

Scary stuff – just a matter of time before it totally gets out of hand in Syria with all the players in close proximaty to each other. Seriously time to get your heads out of the sand about this. If you don’t believe what Michael is saying about this – please do your own research. IF you don’t believe the Bible either – you’re totally going to be terrified when you experience the darkness that’s coming upon not only the U.S., but on the rest of the world as well. You are correct. But it may be even worse than you think. Job is the scriptural example of the last day saint. The “bad” reports are going to come so quickly at the end, only those who have a steadfast foundation in the Father and His Son will be able to endure the onslaught. Just as the Messiah, these will testify by their lives, as to the veracity of the scriptures!

The thing that terrifies and baffles me the most is seeing how asleep and the nonchalant attitude of about 90% of the U.S population is in regards to how bad things are with our foreign and internal policies. I live in a major city (NYC) and tell my co-workers they need to prep and watch out for future false flag events. I try to tell them about these things and literally get laughed at or given the side eye. I am holding on to Jesus first and foremost and doing my best to prep.

The future of warfare is not nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons are suicide for everyone on the planet. IF any nation starts a nuclear war then we as a species will not survive the aftermath of radiation poisoning of the entire planet. So going nuclear is insane.
Even if someone has a base deep under the planet there is no long term escape. The disasters of nuclear power plants are well known. What Russia might think is that it is cleanable up because these disasters do not even begin to describe what would happen with that amount of radiation. Their disaster is minimal in comparison.
We have a natural system of atmosphere renewal in both our oceans and our rain forests. Both of which are in jeopardy right now. Add nuclear into the equation and you will destroy that renewal system and leave us with a planet with an atmosphere that is not breathe-able.
What profit is there in destroying our habitat?
In ancient times we have numerous descriptions of a species well above our own in the food chain. They were between 9 feet tall and 12 feet tall average. They had IQs well above our own. They had technology well above anything ever seen on this planet.
We have descriptions of these “people” and they look exactly like us only much larger. They are described as technically advanced with much of the tech we own today. They are described as extremely long-lived. They were worshipped all over the world by human beings and humans were used to do all the heavy labor of a society as their slaves.
Anyone observing the buildings of the ancient world must know that even with our current technology we might have a difficult time duplicating their works. Such as the older pyramids of Egypt as one example.
What isn’t known generally is that they had a civil war. It is well described in ancient documents in India. By the descriptions of the disaster of the armies of humans of that war it was nuclear. They flooded the planet with radiation and left. Same documents in India describe an advanced tech with airplanes and other tech as well.
The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun. So I believe those documents might be true.
Even GOD in the time of Abraham was in a civil war with these so called gods. They had rules of engagement set down. They had to use non-nuclear forces of slaves in their civil wars. GOD obviously won. God rewarded Abraham for his part in that win. It is all there to be read by people that know what they are talking about in the scriptures..
What I am saying is it is happening again right now.
The only logical conclusion I can come up with is these same “gods” that are extremely long lived might be instigating nations to begin a war to end all wars(extinction of the human species). They would have no problem with plans that extend over 100s of years.
Substitute the word “angels” for “gods” and it all makes sense.
The Bible also states in the first part of Genesis that we are a “created” species. That we were created to look identical to the “gods”. Only we are much smaller and with a far smaller lifespan. The enigmatic verses describing a mixing of humans and gods in Genesis mean if we were created by these “angels” then they failed to turn off the compatibility gene between our species and hybrids were possible between the species.
The descriptions are of a species far more identical to our own in personalities than I like to think about.
I can see no sane motivation for a nuclear conflict. The alternative is that something or someone is pushing for this conclusion.
I think it is only a matter of time before this actually happens.
Then look for the aliens coming down to Earth to provide us with a cleanup and a rescue. The price of course is our freedom. Not just here in the United States but every where on this planet.

    • TheLulzWarrior

Not even a 100 000 megaton doomsday device would result in enough fallouts for the entire planet.

      • watchmannonthewall

        How about hundreds of them?
Jeremiah speaks of a land, “Babylon”, which will be desolate and in which no man lives. (Jer. 51:42-45) The punishment, in scripture, for rebellion against God among those who once knew Him is exile from the land and no rain on it. It seems to me, the nation once knew Him but has decided to reject HIm.

        • TheLulzWarrior

It would be far more simple to put one or several asteroid into a collision course with Earth.

    • watchmannonthewall

Perhaps this is why Messiah said,”Unless those days should be shortened, no flesh would remain”? It seems apparent nuclear war is in the future!

    • jaxon64

There are MANY scientific papers that debunk the myth that a nuclear war would cause an extinction event of humans–it just isn’t true ( although horrible beyond imagination).
First of all–the actual, direct impact in the blast areas-if every missile from all countries were detonated- would lead to approximately 300 to 500 million human deaths. This accounts for the most-likely targets of the most likely participants.
Your point about radiation and fallout is valid but far from accurate. The general, atmospheric radiation fallout occurs in a limited radius and is likely going to add another 100 to 150 million deaths within 6 months of the exchange. The atmospheric radiation falls over the course of years and would increase rates of birth defects and cancers but would actually not be a significant death total % wise, in and of itself.
Fires:: Fires would be raging and the smoke of the fires would cause atmospheric changes and agricultural challenges more than the after affects of the bombs themselves. It is estimated that another 500 million will most likely perish in the first year from famine and disease–after which, the atmosphere will return mostly to normal in just a year or two and “nuclear winter” won’t last more than 18 to 24 months.
Civil unrest, death from skin cancers and lesions ( there will be damage to the ozone causing almost a decade for the earth to heal it’s upper atmosphere)…smaller wars, unforeseen epidemics/pandemics, disease outbreak and starvations would lead to even more deaths…
All told, a worst-case scenario has approximately 4 to 5 billion humans dying within a decade as a direct result of an all-out nuclear exchange. It would take generations for cancers and mutations to return to “normal” levels and maybe even decades longer for the planet to fully recover its ozone, water purity and topsoil quality–but it would not be an “extinction event.’—Except for maybe the USA and parts of Russia and/or China.
The “Nuclear Annihilation” scare HAS been a very useful idea in keeping anyone from starting this mother of all insanities though—let’s pray it never happens, EVER.

Well, first of all, we created nothing but anarchy and chaos in Syria so we should kindly get the hell out of there. Secondly, allow the Russians to clean up the mess that we left behind in Syria. Third, our defense budget is grossly bloated, and should be slashed. Fourth, we have more than enough ICBMs to destroy the world several times over. Fifth, it’s true that we have a virtually non-existent civil defense program (at least for us poor schmucks), but maybe that ‘s a good thing as actually only the dead will be the lucky ones in the event of a nuclear exchange. Sixth, we have ultra quiet and stealth submarines as well. Seventh, the Russians are good and kind people so we should learn to get along with them.

Jesus spoke of wars and RUMORS of wars at the end. Revelation has the anti-christ in power, the mark of the beast and then the anti-christ is troubled by the kings of the east. The fear of WWIII will cause the world to embrace the man who has all the answers (antichrist). The mark of the beast is most likely related to a world digital currency. Without the ability to use cash or legally barter will weabe that tangled web. A nuclear exchange would damage the electronic grid necessary for a world wide digital currency. After that is setup then it will begin to unravel as the world starts seeing what a fraud antichrist is. However by that time those who accepted the mark are already damned. Satan wants man to worship him in plave of God more than anything. Once the majority of mankind has rejected God then the full force of the consequences will fall on the earth.

    • iris

Certainly agree with you on some of that and that at some point, perhaps very soon, each of us is going to make that decision to follow the world system of the beast, or stand for God and be willing to face the consequences.

Good article Michael, you hit the nail on the head. War at this point seems inevitable given the situation in the world right now. And … it won’t get better according to Bible Prophecy.
America has dissed Almighty God and removed Him from the highest leadership positions in the land. Godless men now run our nation and it won’t get any better with whomever is elected. One is very evil and a liar while the other is prideful, and terribly arrogant. Neither has any interest in bringing God back in total focus in America.
America will NOT be great again without Almighty God at the helm.

Well from the start of Obama’s Presidency he said he wanted to “level the playing field”. What we’re getting is exactly that.
