Red Heifer Discovered! – Major Obstacle To The Rebuilding Of The Jewish Temple Removed

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Red Heifer - YouTubeUp until now, one of the major barriers to the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem has been the lack of a red heifer.  A qualified red heifer has not been seen in the land of Israel for nearly two thousand years, and without one it would not be possible to resume Temple worship.  But now a candidate has been found that could change everything.  The Temple Institute in Jerusalem has released stunning video footage of a red heifer that they believe meets the Biblical requirements.  This red heifer was born in the United States, and the owners of the red heifer contacted the Temple Institute in order to receive instructions about how to care for it.  It is hoped that this red heifer will eventually be transported to the land of Israel and be used for the purification of the priests and the vessels that will be used in a rebuilt Jewish Temple.

This is a very big deal, because without a red heifer the Temple would never be rebuilt.  So needless to say, the video footage that you are about to see is creating quite a stir in Jewish communities throughout the world.  The Temple Institute contacted a documentary filmmaker to film this red heifer, and this video was just released to the public earlier this month

If you are not familiar with the Temple Institute, it is an organization located in the heart of Jerusalem that is dedicated to making preparations for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple.  The Institute has created a whole host of items that are intended to be used in a future Temple including priestly garments made to Biblical specifications, a seven-branched Menorah made of pure gold, a golden Incense Altar and a golden Table of Showbread.  The following is what the Temple Institute has to say about itself

The Temple Institute (in Hebrew, Machon HaMikdash), founded in 1987, is a non-profit educational and religious organization located in the Jewish quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City. The Institute is dedicated to every aspect of the Biblical commandment to build the Holy Temple of G-d on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem. Our short-term goal is to rekindle the flame of the Holy Temple in the hearts of mankind through education. Our long-term goal is to do all in our limited power to bring about the building of the Holy Temple in our time. Thus, the Institute’s efforts include raising public awareness about the Holy Temple, and the central role that it occupies in the spiritual life of mankind. The many areas of activities conducted by the Institute combine research, seminars, publications, and conferences, as well as the production of educational materials.

The major focus of the Institute is its efforts towards the beginning of the actual rebuilding of the Holy Temple. Towards this end, the Institute has begun to restore and construct the sacred vessels for the service of the Holy Temple. These vessels, which G-d commanded Israel to create, can be seen today at our exhibition in Jerusalem’s Old City Jewish Quarter. They are made according to the exact specifications of the Bible, and have been constructed from the original source materials, such as gold, copper, silver and wood. These are authentic, accurate vessels, not merely replicas or models. All of these items are fit and ready for use in the service of the Holy Temple. Among the many items featured in the exhibition are musical instruments played by the Levitical choir, the golden crown of the High Priest, and gold and silver vessels used in the incense and sacrificial services. After many years of effort and toil, the Institute has completed the three most important and central vessels of the Divine service: the seven-branched candelabra, or Menorah, made of pure gold; the golden Incense Altar, and the golden Table of the Showbread.

But without the ashes of a red heifer, all of those preparations are in vain.

Before the Temple can be rebuilt and Temple worship can be resumed, a perfect red heifer must be found.

And now one has been discovered.

According to Orthodox Jewish authorities, a suitable red heifer cannot even have a single black hair.  So finding such a creature is not easy.  According to Jewish tradition, only nine such red heifers were found during the entire time when the first two temples were standing.  And if this current red heifer ever does any work or ever mates it will be disqualified.  The following comes from a Jewish source

The sages infer that the Red Heifer must be completely red—even two black hairs would render it invalid. And it must not have done any work in its lifetime—even having a yoke placed on its back or having mated would disqualify it.

Once a candidate was found, and there was need for more purifying ash water, the cow would be slaughtered and burned on a pyre, along with a cedar branch, hyssop sprig, and crimson wool. The ceremony took place on the Mount of Olives, opposite the Temple Mount.

All of this has huge implications for world events.

Traditionally, many Orthodox Jews have believed that the spotting of a red heifer would herald the coming of the Messiah.

And if this red heifer does indeed turn out to be a suitable candidate, one of the biggest obstacles to rebuilding the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem will have been removed.

For Christians, this is an extremely exciting development as well.

The Bible tells us that there will be a Temple standing in Jerusalem in the last days, and that the Antichrist will defile it.

But that Bible prophecy could never be fulfilled until a red heifer was found.

Yes, there are still many more obstacles standing in the way of the Jewish people rebuilding the Temple.  For one, the Islamic world would go into convulsions if Israel tried to build anything on or near the Temple mount at this point.

However, the Temple Institute and a whole host of Orthodox Jews are absolutely determined to make the rebuilding of the Temple a reality, and now they appear to be one giant step closing to achieving that dream.

OK, I have to admit, this is intriguing! So much weird stuff is happening lately that “hasn’t happened in 100’s of years”…..it really makes me believe that we are witnessing the beginning of a new era ….regardless of what “labor pains” this may mean, I know that these things must happen in order to begin the healing ….

    • MichaelfromTheEconomicCollapse

It is true – a lot of really bizarre things are starting to happen all at once.

      Makes one think, eh?

      Michael

      • SAM

Building the temple will lead to a big war in the region. Jews, Christians, Muslims don’t need to go to war. Each should respect their holy places.

        • Danial

And each other’s land. Just because your religion is based on a certain place doesnt mean you should be invading other people’s land

      • Jim Davis

No. It’s just that with the internet, every insignificant little thing, like a brown cow bring born, is hyped to the max by a web site like this one.

    • K2

I too have been feeling the same since years, Infact i previously said on another article that this decade will have a world war, global depression and a global pandemic ( meaning end times of the world are near or atleast an era).

      • seth datta

talmud says ursury and killing of gentiles is ok

        • Jewish Woman

It says that accepting interest is allowed, but not killing. Your sources are tainted.

          • Anton

Beacuse if gentiles take usury from each other , why a jew should be different ?

  • Tatiana Covington

Quick, kill it. Oh wait, this is 2014, when cattle can be cloned.

    Mmmm… Red Heiferburgers. Tasty.

    • Carlos

      You’re a dumbass

    • K2

In order for something to be cloned, a ‘similar’ source (from which it shall be cloned) will have to exist. For example a red heifer can only be cloned from a red heifer. So your argument doesnt make sense.

    • jaxon64

      Vile..evil

  • gryphonv8

wow, we’re sending satellites into our galaxy, meanwhile people are still worshipping animals

    i weep for humanity

    • Jewish Woman

We don’t worship the red heifer, we worship the One God.

      • rawhunger

I still weep for humanity and it’s backwards ways…

      • ED

Jews and their adoration of “RED” do amuse one in tune with the overall vivacity of the group and its affection for culture, language and race. It is only theirs that seems to matter and that is what is troubling in the great scheme of things.

        • Jewish Woman

Please see my comment below. Our race is not the only one that matters, that has always been the assumption of others, hence antisemitism. The Temple will be a place of worship for all peoples. The difference between a Jew and any other human is not one of being better, it is one of what mission we have been given. Each nation and each individual has a particular mission. We are fought that a non-Jew who keeps the seven laws that apply for all the nations is on exactly the same level as the holiest person (the high priest) on the holiest day (Yom Kippur) in the holiest place (The Temple). Exactly the same.

Now where does that fit in with your distorted view?

          • Jewish Woman

Typo: We are “taught”, not “fought”..

          • xander cross

Jewish is not a race. You’re not a race of jewish. You’re white.

          • williaml

To be a Jew is not a defining of race.
Jews are composed of the Whole color of mankind.
To be a Jew is a defining of Religion according too the Law of God.
A gentile does not worship the God of the Jews.
Christianity is Judaism perfected In Love.
A Christian worships the God of the Jews but follows the Two Great Commandments Mat. 22:37-39

          • Paul

I’m a Messianic Jew and I watch prophecy taught in the scriptures closely. The Feast commanded in Leviticus Ch 23 play an important role, as well as other Jewish days, such as Hanukah. The protestant mindset, for the most part, do not seem to understand this. Jewish woman, do not argue with those who lack understanding and speak with blind tongues. Salvation comes from the Jews, as YESHUA HIMSELF said in John Ch 4: 22 You people don’t know what you are worshipping; we worship what we do know, because salvation comes from the Jews
Numerous gentiles do not understand the importance of the Red heifer and the building of the Third Temple.

          • big lalakis

“Numerous gentiles do not understand the importance of the Red heifer and the building of the Third Temple.”

Do you mean by this that the rest of gentiles or ,there is gentiles, who “understand” the “importance” of any colour heifer or, differences between heifers hairs???

          • blasphemer

Sometimes I enjoy a good fiction novel as well. Is God your favorite author? I’m more partial to Tom Clancy myself.

    • MichaelfromTheEconomicCollapse

Nobody is worshipping this red heifer.

      • michaelbme

I think that the word gryphonv8 was looking for was obsessing, not worshiping.

    • Tomas

      Again Viva Villa Cabrones !!!!!

  • Kim

I have no clue what this means – I’ve never heard of it before. I do ; however, consult the bible on these matters and I am aware that Jesus himself prophesied the destruction of the second Jewish system, along with the temple, in 70CE, and parallel prophecies in the bible indicate it would never be rebuilt.

Judaism is essentially a collection of traditions that don’t have much to do anymore with the way it was practiced in ancient times with its Law and various sacrifices so I don’t know why or what role a temple would even play in these modern times.

The bible says that a so called third temple would be spiritual, it would be “free” and the “Jerusalem above” encompassing people of all nations- a completely different system of worship.

The only reason the first two temples were constructed is because they had God’s backing and blessing. Any temple constructed today would be a man made effort, red heifer notwithstanding.

    • Jewish Woman

Wow- so much misunderstanding of Judaism in one place, don’t know where to start with a comment. Thousands of prophecies in your bible indicate the Temple will be rebuilt.
Judaism is alive today and practiced just as it was before- even without the Temple. Not your American version, mind you, but here in the Land. Next year is the Shmitta year and my land will not be worked- as it says in the bible. When I pick herbes from my garden I do not use them until the portion for the Levite, the Cohan and the Poor have been separated out- as it has always been. The Water drawing ceremony is celebrated in Jerusalem after Sukkot- as it has always been. Marriages, Births, Justice, Education, Feasts, Death, Prayer, Communal Life- it all exists exactly as it has always been. So much so that when communities that had been separated for over 2000 years reunited (before the advent of modern communication) we discovered we still all had the same rituals- whether we were Nepalese Jews, Siberian Jews, African Jews, Chinese Jews, Marranos, Afghanis, etc, etc.

The third Temple and all of it’s exact dimensions (earthly measuring, mind you) are detailed in the book of Ezekiel so that real humans will know exactly how to construct it when the time is right, with the blessing of the Omnipotent.

      • Jewish Woman

PS The Temples that existed in the past, like the one that will exist in the future were and will the place of worship for all peoples. No contradiction there, and nothing “totally different”.

What is the purpose of Judaism? To be a “chosen people” and bask alone in God’s love? No. God loves all of his creation, and each person has a role to play in creation whether they are Jewish or not.

        • Tatiana Covington

Loves his creation. Right. Tell that to people sick with malaria and tuberculosis.

          What hirseshot.

          • Ophelia Ort

It’s pretty sad that the only thing you have to do with your time is to troll sites and make nasty comments.

          • Tatiana Covington

Did you respond with any contrary facts?

          • Ophelia Ort

I don’t waste my time presenting facts to people like you. Many have tried and all you do is continue to hurl insults. You seem to have nothing better to do than take out your anger on others. You wish to bait and upset people; not a very worthwhile use of your life and time.

          • Paul

It’s easy to blame the GOD of Israel for sickness, but never Glorify HIM for HIS greatness. Yes, they are sick children in the world–am I to blame the GOD OF Israel, my GOD, when my own daughter becomes ill? No. Pain and sickness draws you closer to GOD’s Heart, because you depend on HIM for comfort, understanding and love. Miracles occur today as they did in the day of YESHUA, but it’s the heart of people that remains dark–GOD’S heart if full of LIGHT, WONDER, LOVE, COMPASSION AND MERCY. People want to blame GOD for everything instead of seeking GOD for understanding and truth. I pity you for your lack of understanding.

          • Tatiana Covington

I depend on medical science to cure sickness. God didn’t fix my farsightedness so severe that I was functionally blind in one eye…

highly trained surgeons did that with their lasers.

        • marygar

You’re belief is an allusion. Christianity fulfilled the temple already with the blood and body of Christ. He is the sacrificial lamb that we worship in all the Masses all over the world. The Temple of God is our bodies and souls. And the “chosen people” are those who believe in Christ to be the Son of God. Israel no longer means the “land” of Israel, it means Christianity. So, the wars surrounding Israel today, have also reached the land of Israel. The rebellion will continue because the hearts of Israelis have not converted to Christianity. Israel will never have peace, unless they see beyond their ludicrous red heifer.

      • Kim

I respect and appreciate your position as a Jewish woman. I just don’t happen to agree with you.

The temples in Jerusalem served a specific purpose. There was the holy and most holy areas where priests would enter and make daily and yearly atonement sacrifices and other sacrifices. The most holy housed the arc of the covenant and other temple utensils.

There is no priestly arrangement in modern Judiasm, there are no atonement sacrifices in modern Judaism, no arc of covenant, there is no law of the covenant to be carried out, there are no records of Levitical lineage or any other priestly lineage, the site of the temple is in dispute, so I really do not know what a modern day Jewish temple would be used for. A place of worship? You already have that.

As for the 1000s of prophesies of a third temple, there are (not 1000s) but there are certainly biblical prophesies foretelling a spiritual temple referred to as the “Jerusalem above”; really, the historic Jewish temple is an organizational representation of a future spiritual temple or arrangement- the Most Holy being heaven itself. The spiritual High Priest Jesus entered into the Most Holy with his eternal or propitiatory sacrifice so there is no further need to rebuild an earthly temple to repeat what has already been fulfilled.

        • Jewish Woman

Hi, Read Ezekiel as it clearly describes the earthly dimensions of the next Temple.

We still know who are the cohanim, we still know who are the Levites. Look up the Priestly blessing, it happens every year in Jerusalem- only by cohanim. Learn about the differences in our services between Cohan, Levi and Israel. Still practiced. The site of the Temple is not in dispute except by people with a political agenda or avid secular atheists with an agenda. We have thousand of practices related to the Temple that we fulfil daily so that when the Temple is built we will not have lost the knowledge.

          Learn more!

      • Leev-it-owt

        ‘Real humans’ as opposed to….

        • Jewish Woman

Real humans as opposed to angelic beings who will build a temple on another dimension. Real humans who will build it on real earth.

Jeez, it’s so interesting to see people’s projections.

          • marygar

His kingdom is not of this world. You are still believing that earth will save you. When in fact it is heaven.

      • Wesley Woods

they pointed to Zerubbabel’s that was later destroyed after the renovations of Herod the Great were complete as was prophesied first by Daniel after the coming of the messiah by the Romans in 70AD. nowhere in the Jewish scriptures does one find the building of a third temple. Ezekiel was describing Herod’s renovated temple. it is said to have been more prestigious than even Solomon’s in it glory. the messiah of the whole world came and was rejected and killed by his own people the jews as was prophesied in the hebrew scriptures. he went further saying that the generation that crucified him would see the temple destroyed to never be rebuilt again.

    • jaxon64

Just curious Kim…is the “bible” you reference a Jehovah’s Witness book or the book of Mormon or something?
The reason I ask is that there are dozens of references to the rebuilt temple in the end times and that “the abomination who causes desolation”..aka the antichrist, will break his deal with Israel after 3 1/2 years. ( I believe he is the one who engineers the agreement between islam and the jews in the first place to allow for the temple rebuilding). He will defile the temple and declare himself as god and have the world worship him or have all of their monetary assets confiscated and trade/money access cut off…You may want to try a King James Bible or a Christian Study Bible.
Michael…have you noticed the burgeoning anti-semitic attitudes and hate-filled comments? Not just here but also on any article mentioning Israel or the Jewish people—this I also discern as a sign of the end times. The events in Ezekiel 37 and 38 indicate that Israel will be forced to stand alone–without allies–when the all out assault against her comes…this is why she finally repents and returns as a nation to their One True God ( for He is the only reason that Israel is not murdered unto the last person when the assault comes)

      • Gay Veteran

“…have you noticed the burgeoning anti-semitic attitudes and hate-filled comments? Not just here but also on any article mentioning Israel or the Jewish people….”

OR people are mad at the Israeli government’s continued theft of Palestinian land

        • marygar

Truth is not anti-semitic. Pointing to the contradictions of Judaism today is helpful.

      • marygar

First of all this is a mystery. Revelations is usually interpreted incorrectly, so who knows? But you need to remember the word Israel no longer means what it used to. So, if the Antichrist breaks his deal with Israel, it many not mean the land of Israel or Jews, but instead Christianity. And the temple may not mean the Temple Mount, but may mean our bodies, which are God’s temples. Have we not as a world turned our back to God by accepting abortion, contraception, etc….Do not true Christians today stand alone? Interpreting the Bible literally may not be the entire story. And I’m Catholic, by the way.

    • Wesley Woods

the apostles declared that the Messianic temple was Christ’s church and made up of people as living stones. any temple made of stone would be the greatest blasphemy that the world would ever see for it declares to the God of the universe we prefer to worship by our own rules not yours. the tower of Babel was the first recording of the building of a temple. it was to be a temple of human achievement and the Lord stopped it and will stop the building of any jewish temple.

  • michaelbme

Why not do an article about using chicken bones for divination?

    • Malcolm Reynolds

Nah, perhaps an article on what godless societies always produce. You know, mass death.

    • Jewish Woman

Because that is an absurd form of idolatry and Michael connects to the One God of All.

      • michaelbme

So divination from chicken bones is absurd, but believing that a red heifer fortells massive world change very soon, that is perfectly reasonable right? Hahahahahahahahaha you dolt.

      • michaelbme

Chicken bone divination and the belief that a red heifer signifies world change are both f**king stupid.

    • Tatiana Covington

First, cross the rinds of two watermelons. Then around these, make a circle of twelve complete sets of chicken bones (KFC preferred). Then douse the watermelons with a full 40. Enjoy!

    • MichaelfromTheEconomicCollapse

You may not understand this, but this article has tremendous implications for the geopolitical situation in the Middle East.

  • Malcolm Reynolds

the religious stuff makes you seem like a whacko
Versus the things militant atheists spout that makes them seem like wackos?

    • michaelbme

I’m not the one salivating over a f**king red cow like the religious folks are, so I am NOT the whacko. Besides, why do you call me militant? Because I won’t be an atheist that submits to christian cultural hegemony, but rather an atheist that tells it like it is? You don’t have a problem with atheists as long as they are submissive, but if they stand up to the religious, then they are “militant”. LOL
I get sick and tired of people trying to derive public policy and foreign policy from ancient belief systems. This is the year 2014, not 5.

      • Malcolm Reynolds

You’re militant because you’re foaming at the mouth and called religion whacko.

BTW, religious totalitarian govts have done horrible crap, but secular humanist govts outdid them last century alone. Sorry Charlie, Hitler’s govt had nothing to do with religion. He replaced himself in the churches.

        • michaelbme

Hitler was a firm believer in the bible and thought that he was doing his god’s work by going after the jews. He talked about it in Mein Kamf. The lack of belief in god is not what caused those governments to do what they did. But hitler’s hatred of the jews did come from his religious beliefs that were passed down in europe from century to century.

          • Malcolm Reynolds

That assertion seems to fly in face of the fact that Hitler destroyed his churches. Kinda hard to get around the fact that Christ was a Jew while trying to wipe them out too.

But whatever gets you to sleep at night. Apparently up-voting yourself…

          • III

Hitler was originally catholic, he never had the Vatican bombed, so no, he didn´t.

          • idiotpolice

Direct quote from Hitler which is documented for anyone to read to this very day, so stop being ignorant and spreading lies (although I suppose if you are religious, it is in your nature) –

10th October, 1941, midday: “Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure.” (Bormann 1953, p. 43).

          • idiotpolice

Was that quote not to your liking? Here try another famous Hitler quote which is (again) documented and still accessible to this very day –

19th October, 1941, night: “The reason why the ancient world was so pure, light and serene was that it knew nothing of the two great scourges: the pox and Christianity.”

          • idiotpolice

All good things come in 3’s –

13th December, 1941, midnight: “Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery…. …When all is said, we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let’s be the only people who are immunised against the disease.” (Bormann 1953, pp. 118-119).

          • Malcolm Reynolds

            Well yea, he did.

          • michaelbme

Hitler was a proud cathollic. Also, why would I not upvote myself? I lbelieve in what I say :).

          • Malcolm Reynolds

Ummm no. Hitler was a Catholic as a child but not so much as an adult.
But whatever. You’re gonna see whatever you want to see. I’ll stick with reality.
            Only trolls upvote themselves.

          • ntg187

if you believe that Hitler was a firm believer in the bible and Christianity then you are completely delusional. See this direct quote from the Hitler Youth Training Manual:

Christianity is merely a cloak for Judaism.

There are numerous others but this should suffice to prove that your statement is false.

        • michaelbme

The belt buckle that the nazis wore read “Gott Mit Uns” which means “God is with us”.

          • Malcolm Reynolds

And of course nutty bag leaders never lie to their subjects.
Remember those kings that told their subjects they were God’s hand doing God’s work. Except they weren’t either.

  • chris

Looks the same colour as many of the heifers in the UK, in other words reasonably common.

    • Jewish Woman

One hair that is not red and the heifer is disqualified= not common at all.

    • Jim Davis

Likes like a brown cow to me.

      How now brown cow?

  • Jewish Woman

The stock market is more “real” and isn’t based on a bunch of false belief systems? There is nothing that can not be termed a “religion”. It all depends on what you make your “god”. If you avidly deny the existence of god this is also a religion.

    • michaelbme

His criticisms of Wall Street are based on reality. Also, atheism is as much like religion as baldness is a hair color.

  • NowAlive

Atheism is an ancient religious belief from thousands of years ago. Its myths have been perpetuated since at least the Ancient Greeks. No proof, just a fairy tale. Makes you seem like a whacko.

    • michaelbme

Atheism is a lack of belief in god. That is all that it is. The only reason that I talk about it is because I am surrounded by hundreds of millions of people in the world who militantly try to shove their religious beliefs down everybody else’s throats. Oh, and by the way, keep your crappy creationism OUT of the science classrooms!

  • Dimitrios Kirkos

Wow,a red cow was born, apocalypse is coming. Such entertainment value is the reason I keep coming here.

    • rawhunger

You gotta let religious nutcases be religious nutcases, I guess. We will die on this planet still clinging to dogma and ooga-booga. Humans suck…

      • TruthIsAll

This. Religious dogma and adherence to these kinds of beliefs is what gives plenty of jews the excuse to use and mistreat gentiles. Let’s face it, the Christianity that Jesus preached was cast aside for big, institutionalized religion. Scripture and interpretation fell onto a bunch of people that used it to maximize control and power over others for centuries.

I’m descended from a civilization that has existed for thousands of years before even hearing of Christ or any of the Semitic religions anyways, so whatever. Just the cyclic flow and ebb of another society.

  • Jim Davis

    This is looney tunes stuff!

    • xander cross

He always been like this. Especially on his “what the bible says” website.

    • xander cross

I compare him to John Hagee. They both want WW3 and the rapture to come to reality.

  • donna

they did not find the creature; this is disgusting a “scientific” breeder of cattle has spent many years attempting to force genetics to produce it. Do these people actually believe this is same ? this cattle rancher almost succeeded several years ago this is just another attempt. It is blasphemy and in some manner idolatry more like construction of tower of babel. Direct defiance of will of God and nature.

  • Maks

…. It’s so sad that protestant America fall so low that can’t even study the Bible… PLEASE make yourself a favor: study Daniel 7 and Revelation 13. “If any man have an ear, let him hear.” Rev. 13:9.
There is not such think as Antichrist in the future, he is already here!
    Wake UP!

    • marygar

      Exactly. Finally some common sense!

  • Tatiana Covington

I would just demolish both the Western Wall and the Dome of the Rock, and build something entertaining. Like a disco (do they still have those?)

    • Jim Davis

I like that plan! Blow up that black stone in Mecca too! Maybe then some of these nuts will start questioning their whacko religions, instead of just believing them 100% just because they were taught to do so.

      • blasphemer

but then what would we do with all of the suicide bombers?

  • Believer

So much disbelief…just as it was 2000 years ago, and all the prophecies are being fulfilled. Peter spoke of it. Paul spoke of it. Jesus spoke of it before He died for us all. Read and be informed people…I pray for you. Do not comment arrogance, simply because modern religious leaders have led you astray. Do your own research. We are living in interesting times. That being said, only God knows when the end will be…not even the angels in Heaven know…but the Orthodox Jews are knowing and still believing, as are many Christians, that the signs of the times are prophecied. Whether we are in those times, who knows…the temple will be rebuilt again, as it was in King Solomon’s day…King David’s son…please read before commenting nonsense. God bless you all. You are all my brothers and sisters, cross-culturally and of all faiths. I believe we have the intellect to do better. The Creator knows we can and do better. God bless you all.

    • xander cross

You do realize the bible is copied for Egypian (black) books right?

      • Paul

you do realize you are a very pitiful soul spewing lies, right? woe to you when you stand before the GOD of the Hebrews.

        • a

You do realize that Catholicism is rooted in political turmoil instated in the heathen north to control pagans?

    • III

      “Do your own research.”

We have and we have seen horrible things in your “good” book.

      • idiotpolice

kind of like you failed to do about Hitler being catholic? I would take your own advise.

  • Antoine

Well, this is definitely intriguing, and another massive argument in favor of religion being true on many levels.

However, I believe, in my humble opinion, that this article should rather be on the “the truth wins” blog rather than on “the American dream”.

Even if America is an ally of Israel, this article mostly has to do with spirituality/religion rather than the state of affairs in America.

    • jaxon64

agreed…and the “Truth Wins” website is getting pretty dusty

    • idiotpolice

Please take this opportunity to explain to all of the readers who a cow being red is in favor of religion being true? This thought process does not seem to yield many logical results.

  • Jewish Woman

What an amazing mixture of fact and fancy. Informative about what the red heifer is but the conclusions to be drawn from it are fiction from the author. No Jews here in Israel advocate destroying Muslim sites because the red heifer exists. None (Source of this information?). We believe that the Temple will only be built when G-d wills it and not before.

And it is totally absurd that the journalist even asked if the bull could be the messiah- we do not believe anything of the sort! We don’t worship the cow. It is a tool to be used in a purification process in Temple worship. Its existence points to the possibility that maybe, just maybe, other prophetic signs will appear and events will lead up to the building of the third Temple. We will not have to tear down anything, it will be done by G-d himself- just as we were taken out of Egypt with signs and wonders and an outstretched arm. As the redemption was at that time, so the future redemption will be.

    • marygar

And God does not will it. But your Israeli government doesn’t care. And you will tear down the entire world with you, to lead up to the building of a temple that should already be built inside of you. Sad. May God help us all.

  • Kitiem3000

I am stunned to see not a single comment regarding Southpark’s episode regarding the Red Heifer.

  • Tatiana Covington

Anyone who thinks that humanity will be improved by killing a farm animal, because of its hair color, is stupid or crazy, perhaps both.

The only other choice is that he does not believe it but says it anyway. That makes him a liar and a knave.

No wonder so many people ridicule Judaism! As do I

    • idiotpolice

For you to ridicule Judaism over Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Shinto, Sikhism, Shamanism, Caodaism, Jainism, Cheondoism, Hoahaoism, Tenriism, Taoism, and whatever else there is – makes you as ignorant and worthy of ridicule as someone is Jewish. No matter which magic man in the sky you believe in, you are simple minded.

  • susieq

How soon before people cease to believe in fairy tales and send the religionists packing. What lunatics.

  • Hash

This article fails to mention this heifer was engineered by the breeder

    • Hash

“can the hand of God be manipulated in way, shape or form through or by the actions of man..??”

  • xander cross

He is a loon. It’s pointless to bring up facts to him.

  • Baird

Hmmm… What does this do to the doctrine of immanency. We’ve been told that Christ can come “tonight” or “at any moment”. No, that’s not true. Even if a pre-trib rapture is true (I’m mid-to-late-trib), a red heifer was needed for the rebuilding of the temple for the Antichrist to be able to declare hiimself God. That would happen only about 3-1/2 years into the tribulation. (3-1/2 years from now?) “Immanence” needs a time-frame. But then it’s not immanence. The Red Heifer needed to be found. The Temple needs to rebuilt. The AntiChrist needs to rise. Probably the Dome of the Rock needs to be destroyed. For Christians, the thief in the night is not a thief, or a suprise, to us, and he doesn’t come unannounced: “But you are not in darkness so that this day should overcome you like a thief” (1 Thess 5) The Red Heifer may be another of the many things that have to be fulfilled before then end of the world. Are you ready? You have time to prepare – before this heifer becomes of age.

NOW, I’ll believe it when I see it. I’ve heard of red heifers and this prophecy before (in the 70’s). It’s probably a “red herring” – the internet tends to blow things out of proportion. What is the source of the story? Would a red heifer born in America qualify? Would it have to be born in Israel? (I’ve heard that was the case before). Etc, etc.

The real crux is: The temple authorities ALREADY HAVE, and have had, the ashes from a qualified red heifer for many years. Many say they don’t have to have a new one.

  • Piglet

    Mooooo! Hamburgers coming up!

  • Gay Veteran

“…The sages infer that the Red Heifer must be completely red—even two black hairs would render it invalid…..”

    more religious insanity

  • SheepSlayer1979

Methinks TPTB are using biblical prophecy in their quest to usher in a one world government. Keeping that in mind, does anyone know anything about the people that raised this red cow/heifer? Would like a little background on these folk is all…

  • Andrew

That’s ‘the Luther legacy’: no priests, no sacraments, no Apostolic succession, no altar, no Sacrifice, no Mother, no saints communion, no churches… Protestants look forward to participate in Jewish another attempt to rebuild the Temple. Israel = mystical body of Christ, community of those baptized in the Name of the Holy Trinity

  • Jeremiah David Boswell

Not trying to mock anyone’s faith, but this is hilarious!!! How backwards is this, so “A qualified red heifer has not been seen in the land of Israel for nearly two thousand years,” and you find one in the United States??!! Hahahahahaha I am laughing so hard right now!

  • Ecominer

Red Hereford heifers are all over. Nothing special about this one. For the writer, the difference between a heifer and a cow is that the cow has had babies. Please use correct terminology in your writing.

  • Paul

Isaiah Ch 2: 2 In the acharit-hayamim the mountain of ADONAI’s house will be established as the most important mountain. It will be regarded more highly than the other hills, and all the Goyim will stream there. 3 Many peoples will go and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of ADONAI, to the house of the God of Ya’akov! He will teach us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths

When the gentiles accept YESHUA into their hearts as Lord, Savior, Redeemer, Sanctifier and King, they become a part of the common wealth of Israel through HIS HOLY BLOOD (we are grafted in through the broken branch, not vice versa–John Ch 4:22 You people don’t know what you are worshipping; we worship what we do know, because salvation comes from the Jews). Until the scriptures are studied in their original form, and not from a gentile mind set and through the eyes of main stream Christianity, they will not understand the importance of the Building of the Third Temple, along with the Feast and other Jewish days. Israel is the time piece. My advice is to study scriptures through Jewish eyes and not gentile eyes, and then you will begin to understand. Remember YESHUA said to HIS Disciples: first to the house of Israel—Israel will teach the world, not the gentiles.

  • Tatiana Covington

Yep, let’s go kill a farm animal. That’ll make things better for everyone.

    (Cue the laugh track!)

  • ninja gaiden

    NICE….

  • michaelbme

I take you seriously when it comes to economic issues, and perhaps a lot of social issues. But when you start injecting ancient mythology into your writings, I can only scratch my head at it. This is the year 2014. Why are you peddling nonsense from primitive people?

  • Tim Wise

Jews need to be exterminated, not heard!

    • jazzword78

come to Israel and say that to the face of an IDF soldier instead of writing like a coward. We survived hitler and weasels like you are not a worry to us. The Jewish people will remain forever while you rot.

      • jazzword78

Hey Michael, why are you letting a comment like this remain? remove it.

        • marygar

Because a censoring commie like yourself is not in charge.

      • marygar

Well, so far our Pope does not smell of rot. And even communism and atheism remains forever, so be careful, what you wish for.

  • cmc

their not worshipping the heifer their offering it to the God they worship

  • Kate Moon

This is as superstitious as witchcraft. I laugh at this.

And is the Israeli government walking His path? You know with all its nuclear weapons, targeting civilians, and cornering them into their deaths. Oh what a Holy Land it is!

  • III

Poor Heifer, defiled in some sickeningals by the zoophile priests of satan.

  • blasphemer

A fictional character has no right to call anyone anything.

  • michaelbme

Religious people are so f****** annoying.

    • SamIam

And you added nothing but hate to the subject. Aren’t you wonderful, eh?

  • Sasquatch

The Temple will be ecumenical and The Antichrist will one day betray the Jewish people from its altar.

    • marygar

The Antichrist has already betrayed the Jewish people. The Likud party of Israel is doing a great job of that.

  • marygar

Not all abide His laws. You just can’t judge us all on account of all the senseless wars caused by powers of be.

  • David Bolduc

While the “Religion of Peace” has returned to crucifying the Infidels!

    Ain’t we got fun? Lol!

  • Dcn Joseph Suaiden

“Christians find it exciting?” Oh, yes, the Antichrist, plagues, 2/3 of earth being destroyed, a miserable 3 1/2 years of the reign of Satan waiting for you to spiritually break before Judgment Day? Exciting!

    • SamIam

Rapture, did you miss the class on that, eh? It is not a bad thing to be with God.
