Obama Used His Final UN Address To Promote A ‘Liberal World Order’ And A Palestinian State

barack-obama-addresses-the-united-nations-public-domainDuring Barack Obama’s eighth and final address to the United Nations he let his true colors show. He staunchly defended globalism, he took several not very subtle shots at Donald Trump, and he boldly declared that Israel “cannot permanently occupy and settle Palestinian land”. That statement about “Palestinian land” was extremely alarming to many, because there are indications that Obama may decide to support a UN Security Council resolution that establishes the parameters for a Palestinian state during his final months in the White House. Barack Obama has promised to squeeze every ounce of “change” out of the remainder of his term that he possibly can, and his last UN speech showed what is on his heart at this moment.

According to the Washington Post, Obama’s final UN address represented “an impassioned plea on behalf of a liberal world order”…

President Obama, in his final speech to the United Nations Tuesday, made an impassioned plea on behalf of a liberal world order that he admitted was under growing threat from wars in the Middle East and rising nationalism at home and in Europe.

Speaking to the U.N. General Assembly for the eighth and last time as president, Obama sought to rise above the conflicts of the moment and outline a future of international cooperation, stressing the importance of the global liberal institutions formed after World War II, including the United Nations.

Barack Obama is a true believer in internationalism. He appears to be completely convinced that the best path forward for humanity involves more integration on all levels – political, economic and even spiritual. Just check out this excerpt from his speech

“I believe that at this moment we all face a choice,” Obama said. “We can choose to press forward with a better model of cooperation and integration or we can retreat into a world sharply divided and ultimately in conflict along age-old lines of nation and tribe and race and religion. I want to suggest to you today that we must go forward and not back.”

Obama’s obsession with globalism is one of the reasons why he has so much disdain for Donald Trump, and his speech at the United Nations contained quite a few comments that seemed specifically targeted at him. The following comes from CNN

He painted a dark picture of the future awaiting Americans, and the world, if the forces of “aggressive nationalism” or “crude populism” win out. And he specifically inveighed against building a wall — a centerpiece of Trump’s proposal on border security.

A nation ringed by walls would only imprison itself,” Obama declared to the assembled representatives of the UN’s member states.

But even more alarming than his defense of globalism was his wording about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I can’t remember any previous president ever using the phrase “Palestinian land” before. Obviously a “two-state solution” is already an inevitable outcome in Obama’s mind. Here is the full quote for those that have not seen it yet…

“Surely Israelis and Palestinians will be better off if Palestinians reject incitement and recognize the legitimacy of Israel. But Israel must recognize that it cannot permanently occupy and settle Palestinian land.”

To me, this statement is a major red flag.

Could it be possible that Barack Obama plans to stab Israel in the back by supporting a UN Security Council resolution that permanently divides the Holy Land before his time in the White House is done?

On Wednesday, Obama is scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. As you can see, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest says that a discussion about a “two-state solution” will be on the agenda

Obama plans to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday to “discuss the need for genuine advancement of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the face of deeply troubling trends on the ground,” according to White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest.

Barack Obama knows that he only has until January 20th, 2017 to take any action on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

If he supports a UN Security Council resolution formally recognizing a Palestinian state and granting them East Jerusalem as their capital, the next president would not be able to go back and undo that. So this may be a way for Obama to “leave a legacy” in the Middle East, and he may especially be tempted to do this if it looks like Donald Trump could win the election

A looming Donald Trump presidency would make it more likely for lame-duck US President Barack Obama to support a United Nations Security Council resolution laying down the basic parameters for the creation of Palestinian state, a former top US official said Sunday.

“I suspect that if Trump wins, the president would be more inclined to go for a Security Council resolution to try to do something that binds, creates standards for the future that the next president couldn’t undo,” Dennis Ross said at a conference on the future of Zionism and the US-Israel relationship. “If Clinton wins, I suspect he [Obama] would be more sensitive to her concerns as to whether this helps or hurt her.”

Less than a week ago, I wrote an article about how UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon also appears to want to see movement toward a Palestinian state before his term ends, and he reaffirmed this position very strongly on Tuesday

Earlier on Tuesday, UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon told the UN General Assembly that the only solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would be a two-state solution, and that the one-state option would “spell doom” for both sides.

This is madness. Replacing a two-state solution with a one-state construct would spell doom: denying Palestinians their freedom and rightful future, and pushing Israel further from its vision of a Jewish democracy towards greater global isolation,” said Ban.

Of course Barack Obama and Ban Ki-moon are both dead wrong about this.

If the UN Security Council passes a resolution that sets the parameters for a Palestinian state, it would be one of the worst things that they could possibly do, and it would set the stage for a major war in the Middle East.

But the pressure is on, and the world community seems to sense a real opportunity to divide the land of Israel.

Every year, the World Council of Churches observes a “World Week for Peace” during the month of September, and the focus is almost always on the Middle East.

This year, the work of the Palestine Israel Ecumenical Forum will be highlighted during the “World Week for Peace”, and it is an organization that is strongly affiliated with the World Council of Churches. On their website, the Palestine Israel Ecumenical Forum has just released a poem that declares that “it’s time for Palestine”. This is how that poem begins

It’s time for Palestine.
It’s time for Palestinians and Israelis to share a just peace.

It’s time to respect human lives in the land called holy.
It’s time for healing to begin in wounded souls.
It’s time to end more than 60 years of conflict, oppression and fear.
It’s time for freedom from occupation.

It’s time for equal rights.
It’s time to stop discrimination, segregation and restrictions on movement.
It’s time for those who put up walls and fences to build them on their own property.
It’s time to stop bulldozing one community’s homes and building homes for the other community on land that is not theirs.
It’s time to do away with double standards.

Overall, I don’t know if I have ever seen such an international push for a Palestinian state like we are seeing right now.

And the man that holds all the power is Barack Obama, because a potential U.S. veto is all that stands in the way of a UN Security Council resolution that divides the land of Israel and establishes a Palestinian state.

At this moment we are in the danger zone. Obama has only four months left to pull the trigger, and Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have both stated that they do not plan to support such a resolution once they take office.

So if something is going to happen, it is almost certainly going to be before January 20th, 2017.

It is unclear what Obama is going to do at this point, but it is not exactly comforting that the fate of the land of Israel lies in his hands.

Surely, we must pray. But the future of Israel does not lie in the hands of bho, but God. If He allows this to happen, He is still in control, and He will still be faithful to all of His promises, concerning His land and Israel.

I firmly believe that Obama is “an” antichrist… the same as Hitler, Napoleon, et. al. This does not surprise me.

    • watchmannonthewall

He is not the anti-christ. Antichrist isn’t revealed until until the altar is shut down. We have a ways to go. He is still preparing the way for anti-christ.

      • Chris Gerber

I didn’t say he was the Antichrist. I said he is “an” Antichrist. There are many antichrists in the world these days. He is one of them and is preparing the way for “the” Antichrist. Maybe you missed that little word in quotes.

        • elizabeth

Nope.Turkey PM Erdogan is the Anti-Christ

        • watchmannonthewall

Yup. Missed it. I apologize. I’ve had many discussions where people have claimed he is “the” anti-christ and read right past your qualifier.
Was at a meeting this last week (Sukkot) where one of the guest speakers put forth the proposal the a/c will be one who attaches himself to the 2 witnesses but then turns on them and kills them. The world will be grateful to him for ending the suffering of their plagues, and many “believers” will join them as they have a skewed understanding of God’s character.
There does seem to be some support for the possibility the death of the 2 witnesses may actual kick off the Great Tribulation, or at least the “Time of Sorrows”. I have no doubt many “believers” will reject their witness as this has been the case throughout history; God’s peoples’ response to His true prophets!
Micheal alludes to one piece of evidence for this in his book, “The Rapture Verdict”, quoting an early church father’s writings. Time will tell.

          • carson

Hi, you had it right the first time, that the GREAT tribulation kicks off when the abomination of desolation occurs, your -when the alter shuts down-

In rev 11:7 we see the 2 witnesses killed, killed by the beast who rose from the bottomless pit, that king, that anti-christ, and when does this king/beast rise from the bottomless pit?
Rev 9:1-11, the 5th trump judgement and the trump judgements which follow the seal judgements begin at the abomination of desolation,
…so the abomination of desolation would have had already occurred before the 2 witnesses are killed since it’s the beast who at the 5th trump rose from the bottomless pit who kills them.
Rev 17:8 also reveals who this beast/king from up out of the bottomless pit is.
Matthew 24:15-21 also shows when the GREAT tribulation starts, abomination, THEN, Great tribulation.

          • watchmannonthewall

Agreed. My point as that both, the abomination of desolation and the killing of the two witnesses, may occur at approximately the same time. In fact, one may be the catalyst for the other!
May I first suggest the abomination of desloation may not consist of the current accepted definition?
What is taught today is that the altar is somehow desecrated or an image is set up alongside of it to desecrate the altar. However, Daniel tells in chapter 8 that the “saints” are given into the hand of the “little horn” (anti-christ) due to transgression at the same time the regular sacrifice on the altar is stopped (v.12-13). BOTH encompass 2300 days and appear to be at the exact same time. In other words, due to the transgession, sin, of the “saints”, the people of God, the sacrifices on the altar are stopped and the anti-christ is given authority.
Historically, the Father’s Word clearly demonstrates He hands His people into the hands of their enemies when they refuse to obey Him so we can conclude the saints are given into the hand of the anti-christ due to THEIR OWN transgression. This position fits perfectly with Jesus’ NT words that because lawlessness abounds the love of many will grow cold and Paul’s statement that the apostacy must occur before the anti-chris is revealed.
We are living in that day when many have sliced and diced scripture and can discuss it intellectually but they do not have a relationship with the Father or Son and the Holy Spirit never speaks to them to give them understanding of the righteousness the Father requires of His people. I believe due to their knowledge the Father will send Elijah to restore all things but many, because of their love of position or their own doctrine (pride), just like the 1st century leaders, what has been will be, they will reject the call to His righteousness, as spoken in His Word, because they like their own standard!
Sort of like the scribes, Pharisees, and lawers of Jesus’ day. Hence, He gives them into the hands of their enemies to “desolate” them due to their “abominations”. This doesn’t play well today with the Jesus who loves us and never requires much of us but scripture tellls us both He and His Father never change and so a daily righteous walk is still required of His people.
Could this “desolation FOR abomintions” occur AFTER He has sent the two witnesses, likely the Elijah spoken of in scripture, He promised to send BEFORE His return and many “Christians” have rejected their message? I think it quite possible!

          • watchmannonthewall

Very good points. I will need to look at some things in Daniel a bit closer. Thank you for pointing out the Revelation timeline.

          • carson

            Hello watchman.
A stumper with the 5th trump angel from the bottomless pit who rises and is also called a king and the beast=meaning THAT final anti-christ, is that the angel from the pit doesn’t rise til the 5th trump!!

But the trumps follow the seals and they all kick off with the abomination which is done by the anti-christ.
See what I’m saying, the angel/beast/king rises at the 5th trump, yet the anti-christ would have already seated himself and declared he’s God (the abomination) which would have brought on that 5th trump.

so is it that the anti-christ man seats himself as if God (commits the abomination) but it’s not til later that the anti-christ man is possessed by that angel from the bottomless pit, not til the 5th trump?
For some reference we see how judas was a unbeliever and used to steal from the money purse and it wasn’t til the passover/til the end, that the devil entered him, john 12:6 and john 13:27.

so if the bad man anti-christ, like judas did when he did bad things, seats himself and commits the abomination could it be that the fallen angel from the bottomless pit doesn’t inhabit him til the 5th trump, akin to the devil not entering judas til later on towards the end…

anyway it’s all interesting to look into and around here I don’t find anyone who looks deeply into things and so wondered what you’d see through study.

a few other verses, john 17:2, rev 17:8 (perdition), 2nd thess 2:3…(and no I don’t subscribe to the idea that judas returns to be the final anti-christ, I consider judas as partly a forerunner of the things to come once again), also the scripture on the mortal headwound rev 13:3 and 13:14…maybe that’s how the antichrist man ‘recovers’ via that angel from the pit entering him..?

They had a “Two State Solution” in 1948 and they didn’t want it. They want it all. The Muslims that is. There is no such thing as a Palestinian and never has been.

    • iris

That’s right. Thanks for mentioning that historical truth, and they’ve never changed their position in 68 years. They don’t want Jews, period. It’s insane that the world won’t acknowledge this no brainer, but oil is at play, along with demonic forces which want all people dead or suffering, including Christians and Jews. Only a few percent of Christians and Jews which were living outside of Israel are left in the rest of the ME now, very many have died or fled, those remaining are under intense persecution. But human rights is not what the un is about, not at all. Look at their record.

To me, this statement is a major red flag….

the WORD of GOD is REAL…he has sent many warnings to America to REPENT…when this “deal” is done….America will face God’s judgement and a major military DEFEAT…just as the Word of God has said…America should support Israel at any cost…sadly…God’s Word makes it clear that’s not going to happen…

Obama sees himself as a gifted visionary, but we all see what he sees. We all have a vision of what the world could be, “if only…” If only people could get along, if only people were more tolerant…if only, if only. What impatient little men like Obama can never face is that the human race is still a long way from being developed enough to escape its “if onlys.” Trying to impose solutions in a top-down manner always ends in disaster. We have a lot of growing to do as a specie before the piecemeal solution of national sovereignty can be retired. Likewise, we have a long way to go before arrogant men like Obama quit trying to impose their “visionary” solutions upon the rest of us.

Hi Watchman, well the AC coming from the inter-faith movement is likely, since the inter-faithers span every aspect of the ruling and corporate and and world religions and so much more all the way down to the average jane and joe now.
The AC coming from the supposedly ‘christian’ side of the inter-faith. (I say supposedly because they in fact deny Christ and have another and false Christ).
And that would fit with ezek 43:8 and others along with the falling away in large part involves this fake and fallen ‘christianity’ of today’s age.
A person cannot fall away from what they were never close to, take the catholic as example, it was never right but maybe close in some aspects but no cigar and now they fall away from even being close as example. As do the many ‘hangers on’ and near to but no quite IN Christ religionists etc.
In other words I don’t think the falling away is talking about athiests falling away from athieisms. Although the general world which walks in unbelief and the flesh does also fall away from natural love and natural good deeds just as 2nd timothy 3 shows I also think the falling away is more then that and includes those religionists who claimed Christ but weren’t His, those with a form of godliness but who denied the power thereof.

I haven’t studied too much on the sacrifices during the millennial reign, have heard that some of them resume and read that with zech 14:18 an example of a feast sacrifice but not the sin sacrifices themselves so will have to look somemore into it all!

Anyway keep looking up eyes firmly fixed upon the Lord Jesus through all things!

    • watchmannonthewall

Agree with all you say. Only one additional clarification or thought: I do believe many Christians were once “saved” or part of the covenant people. It’s just that they have little idea of what all that entailed. Jesus said the one who sins in ignorance will be beaten with few stripes but not so the one who sins willfully, confirming OT scripture. If we weren’t at the end of this age, things would be different for them. Example: My father, and many othrs who have already passed on, did not know the things God has revealed in His Word over the last 10-15 years to many around the world. These were not required to walk in the same light we have.

As we come to the end of this age, the revelation of the REAL historical Jesus, the one who kept ALL of His Father’s Law and taught His disciples should do the same (a fact hidden for centuries through the RCC and even before), has begun to come out. Once those Christians who sinned in ignorance are made aware of this Truth of God’s standard of righteousness, yet persist in following the doctrines and commandments of men (specifically their leaders), they lose their ignorance and, as the writer of Hebrews states, “sin willfully” or “defiantly”. This is covered in Deuteronomy 29:14-21 and affirmed by John in Revelation 22:18-19.

One more thing to think about: I propose that the phrase you mentioned, “Haveing a form of godlinesss, but denying the power thereof” is a reference to those who set up their own standard of righteousness, the “form of godliness” and the phrase “denying the power thereof” actully refers to “denying the righteous standard as established by God.” i.e. His Law. (Deut. 4:8 & 6:25)

Paul speaks of this also in Romans 10:2-3 and all the way down to verse 8. The entire passage (Romans 10 is a summary of Deuteronomy 29-30 with a number of principles correlated throughout, as well as references to Isaiah, Joel, and David in Psalms.

It was by Jesus’ obedience to His Father’s righteous standard that He was given the authority to take His life up once again after going into the grave. It is also by our obedience to the same (1 John 2:3-6), abiding in Him, that our spirit will be quickened as we walk as He walked. Death has no sting, if sin does not exist!

Still have things regarding your comments to study. Good stuff!

Should Israel seize Gaza and the West Bank, then deport the muslim populations there to Jordan?

Muslim and leftist outrage would be off the charts. Bonus point if Israel also started deporting th illegal african imigrants that makes Tel-Aviv unsafe.
