Nancy Pelosi Could Soon Be The Speaker Of The House, And That Should Freak You Out

Are you ready for the second coming of Speaker Pelosi? As a result of the recent Obamacare debacle, the American people are deeply frustrated with the Republicans in Congress. And having nowhere else to go, many voters are considering turning to the Democrats for answers. As you will see below, one recent survey found that only 37 percent of voters nationally say that they plan to support Republican candidates for Congress in 2018. If the 2018 mid-term elections were held at this moment, the Republicans would be in big trouble and it would be quite likely that the Democrats would take back control of the U.S. House of Representatives.


And I am not the only one that is warning of political doom on the horizon. Earlier today, an editorial by Newt Gingrich and Brad Anderson also warned of what could happen if the Republicans don’t get their act together…

Following Republicans’ failure to fix the country’s health care system, polls show Americans are increasingly flirting with Democratic governance in Congress next year. This means Republicans must change their game plan. The next six months must not be the same as the last six months.

To regain their legislative momentum and keep their majority, Republicans must clearly demonstrate they are fighting for the country’s hardworking taxpayers. This means passing a major tax cut by Thanksgiving — and making it retroactive to the start of this year.

I am not particularly optimistic that we will see major tax cuts by the end of this year, but hopefully I will be proven wrong.

If the Republicans in Congress continue to fumble the ball, we could see a historic wipeout in 2018. As I mentioned above, the polling numbers don’t look good for congressional Republicans at this point…

Democrats stand to win big in the 2018 midterm elections, according to a new poll – perhaps flipping enough seats to take over the House of Representatives.

Forty-four percent of registered voters say they would vote for a Democrat in their district if an election were held today. Just 37 percent said they would back a Republican.

And even in the best of times, this upcoming election would provide quite a challenge for the Republican Party. Larry Sabato of the University of Virginia recently explained why

Midterm elections for first-term presidents are historically ruinous for the party that controls the White House.

By Sabato’s analysis, the president’s party has shed House seats in 36 of 39 midterms stretching back more than 150 years, with an average loss of 33 seats — well above the 24 pickups the Democrats need to take the chamber next year.

If something happens 36 out of 39 times, there is a very good chance that it will happen the next time too.

So even if President Trump was exceedingly popular right now the Republican Party would have an uphill climb in 2018. But the fact that his approval ratings have fallen so precipitously definitely spells trouble…

President Donald Trump has watched his ratings decline for months, but on Wednesday two respected polls showed that only a third of American voters view him favorably — a new low less than 200 days into his presidency

A new Quinnipiac University Poll has the president’s approval rating falling to 33 percent, while Gallup shows it at 36 percent. Quinnipiac’s measurement is the lowest in the poll’s tracking of the Trump administration thus far, and Gallup’s is the lowest three-day average it has registered.

I fully support President Trump, but I have to admit that those are horrible numbers. Of course the mainstream media is treating him exceedingly unfairly, and that takes a toll. But hopefully he can eventually overcome the constant media onslaught and regain the level of popularity that he enjoyed back during the campaign.

If you dig even deeper into the Quinnipiac poll, you find some numbers about Trump that are deeply, deeply alarming

  • 54% said they were embarrassed to have him as president
  • 57% said they he was abusing the powers of his office
  • 60% said they believed he was above the law
  • 71% said Trump was not levelheaded
  • 62% said Trump was not honest
  • 63% said Trump did not have good leadership skills
  • 59% said he did not care about average Americans
  • 63% said he did not share their values

President Trump cannot fight this battle alone. So many conservatives out there decided that their job was done once Trump won the election, but the truth is that the battle is just getting started.

Right now, Democrats are raising millions upon millions of dollars for the mid-term elections and the liberal base is extremely energized.

If we do not match their enthusiasm and energy we are going to be facing a historic defeat.

And if the Democrats are able to take control of both the Senate and the House in 2018, it will just be a matter of time before Trump is impeached.

We desperately need to get Trump more friends in Congress, and so I am hoping that you all will stand with me and other pro-Trump candidates that are running for federal offices in 2018. We have a once in a generation opportunity to fundamentally change the direction of this country, but if the Democrats take back control of Congress in 2018 that door will be slammed shut.

So hopefully we can get conservatives to awaken out of their slumber, because if nothing dramatically changes between now and the 2018 mid-term elections, the Democrats will likely win a huge victory and Nancy Pelosi will likely once again become the Speaker of the House.

          Yes, they used and still do use, the Hegelian dialectic. It’s why most current GOPs would have been described as beatniks if placed into the 1950s. The idea is built around finding common ground, then consensus, then an antithetical idea is introduced, that gets thrown around until common ground and consensus are again reached, and it continues on until the end goal is achieved. Many of the mega churches use cell groups. They like to call them Bible studies, (although those barely scratch the surfaces of true Bible studies) Life groups, Home groups, etc., but that consensus centered approach is included. The mega churches like Willowcreek and Saddleback introduced the method decades ago, via the mentoring of Peter Drucker, a world famous economist who touted it for business use, and suggested it to increase the number of behinds in the pews. He described himself as a Communitarian, which I think meant a blending of Communism and Humanitarianism. He was baptized Episcopalian in his youth, but I doubt he was a practicing Christian.

            Yes, this rebellion made its grand debut in the 60s, mostly by “privileged” youths, I use the quotation marks, because imo, they probably didn’t really have a privileged upbringing emotionally, but also, there were paid by Communist/Socialist entities behind the scene, young people who may not have been so privileged. Those entities capitalized, irony intended, on the hyper-idealism, impatience, arrogance, and naivete of youth. Sadly, many of the privileged youths of the 1960s are now in places of power in our government, academia, and professional fields, since their parents were able to send them to the best schools. Granted, some of the movement surrounding the 60s brought about positive change, but for the most part, also imo, it has yielded a lot of destruction.


      I’ve brought this up on numerous occasions on infowars. here is what I think happened. the communists knew they could never beat the U.S. in a military fight so they decided to infiltrate little at a time. first it was academia, next came the entertainment industry and the media followed by the government and corporations. their influence is everywhere now and it is referred to as Cultural Marxism, i.e. Political Correctness. I think it might have started as early as the late 1950s, maybe earlier.

    I know that lowering taxes is a good political move, and it would benefit the middle class by leaving them with more discretionary income (or money to plow back into their businesses), but the truth of the matter is that it would just accelerate our indebtedness.

    That said, does it really matter at this point? We’re going to default eventually anyway, and it might be better if this were done sooner rather than later.

    The difference between the shortfall now and the greater shortfall of lower tax collections is just the need for more paper to paper over the difference.

    It may be that the income tax is just a smokescreen anyway to mask all the papering-over. Maybe we ought to take the emperor’s clothes all the way off by abolishing taxes altogether.

    Nobody in DC has any intention of paying off the debt anyway, so let’s call their bluff.

    I think you’re overreacting. Republicans in Congress are a bit rusty after 8 years, but don’t count them out yet. I think a war with North Korea or Iran will be started and Trump’s poll numbers will go up. A similar thing happened when George W. Bush declared wars with Afghanistan and Iraq. I reckon the Republicans will get tax reform passed in spite of their setback with healthcare. As someone said, “it isn’t over till it’s over.”

    The problem is the destruction of the working class of this country.
    I must admit that Congress has done a really good job with the help of corporations to destroy the working class.
    1. The subcontracting of work overseas. Corporations jumping on the wagon and destroying the wages of American workers in favor of slave wages abroad.
    2. The Medicare and Medicaid fiasco costing far more than it was presented as costing. If you are broke and on welfare you get everything pretty much for free. The rest of us end up paying for it.
    3. Forcing everyday people into Obamacare. Its only notable accomplishment is the destruction of the health insurance industry and forcing working people into plans with very high deductables.
    4. The scandal of prescription drugs going through the ceiling. One drug costs about $5 to make and they are charging over $600 for it and it concerns just about every type 1 and type 2 diabetic in the country.
    5. The financial destruction of the tax code. Married people are at a disadvantage under the current code. That includes liability if you are married for the health bill of your spouse. If you simply live together it ends with the bankruptcy of the spouse.
    6. The wage oriented benefits given out by the government. The less you make the better off you are in a real medical emergency.
    7. The entire part-time worker fiasco in which you deny benefits to people working part time.
    8. The gradual education of the working class to be agnostic. They do this under guise of keeping neutral towards religion unless you have a militant religion.
    There are much more examples. It is time to take a really good look at just who owns who in the US Congress. Start by whom contributes most to their re-election campaigns.
    The rest is smoke and mirrors. That is the real reason we still have Obamacare.
    These rhinos are in the pay of the major corporations of this country and they are definitely in the payroll of major industries like the Insurance and prescription industries.
    The only way around this at this point in time will be to convince the insurance industry that it is in their best long term interests to fix it so they are still in business in the future. The health insurance industry has taken a major hit over Obamacare with the liability that comes with these rules. Even soaking the rest of us for the cost has not helped.
    How to fix it?
    We have to overhaul the Federal Drug Administration for starters. It costs way to much money to bring new things onto the market and no other country in the world is as bad about that as we are.
    We have to go after the profits of corporations ruining the prescription industry for the average person and that means shorting the patent system on time for the new drugs so competition can bring the price down.
    We have to have competency tests for anyone going for election in the future.
    Nancy is obviously in the early stages of dementia or appears so.
    That is a disease just like any other and is in no way dishonorable to anyone if it is treated properly.
    As we grow older we all have to deal with the possibility of this occurring to us or to someone we love.
    I think we need to take the profit out of long term illness. That means curbing the profit on anything to do with things like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc.
    I think we need to put bounties on finding a cure for these diseases. Not one dime towards research that produces nothing. Pay for results instead. All we are doing is giving a lifetime job to researchers under the current system.
    Until we make changes on what I just described it is hopeless to elect fresh people into the system. The system will eat them.
