If America Continues To Go Down The Same Path As Europe, This Is What Life Will Be Like…

EUSSR Flag - Photo by Finn SkovgaardBecoming more like Europe is not a good thing.  But that is the path that we are currently on.  For the most part, Europeans live in a socialist “Big Brother” system in which the government completely dominates your life from the cradle to the grave.  Of course there are differences from country to country, but generally speaking the lives of most Europeans are very tightly regulated.  You see, the truth is that high levels of individual liberty and freedom are considered to be “dangerous” by the European elite.  They believe that if we are all allowed to just do whatever we want that it would result in utter chaos.  They are convinced that life is better when those that are smarter (them) control the lives of everyone else.  In essence, Europe is like a giant religious cult in many ways (minus the religion).  With each passing year, the number of rules and regulations governing the daily lives of Europeans steadily grows, as does the level of control.  If you try to live outside of that control, you could very well find yourself in a direct confrontation with the authorities very rapidly.

Just consider what is happening in Germany.  Authorities there have stated repeatedly that they do not believe in having any “parallel societies”, and therefore everyone must participate in the system that the government has established.

That includes all children.  In Germany today, almost all forms of homeschooling are illegal.  In fact, one judge shockingly ruled that one set of parents could not have custody of their children because they might move them to another country and homeschool them there

A judge has issued a stunning verdict in a homeschooling case in Germany, ordering that the parents cannot have custody of their children because the family might move to another country and homeschool, posing a “concrete endangerment” to the children.

Dirk and Petra Wunderlich’s case made international headlines in August when 20 armed police arrived with a battering ram and forcibly took their four children from their home in Darmstadt, Germany, and enrolled them in public school.

As WND reported at the time, the children, ages 7 to 14, were taken into police custody. They were allowed to return home three weeks later when their father and mother, given no choice by the federal bureaucracy in Germany, agreed to allow their kids to attend public schools despite their objection to the social and religious instruction there.

Are you starting to see what I meant when I compared Europe to a cult?

In Europe, government is god, and everyone and everything belongs to the government.

Apparently, that even includes the life savings of their own citizens.  The following is from a Reuters article that was just posted this week…

The savings of the European Union’s 500 million citizens could be used to fund long-term investments to boost the economy and help plug the gap left by banks since the financial crisis, an EU document says.

Did you catch that?  The EU apparently believes that they could use the private savings of their own citizens “to fund long-term investments” any time that they want.

But what if you don’t want your life savings to be invested in that way?

Too bad for you.

In fact, according to that Reuters article the EU wants to find ways to “mobilize more personal pension savings” so that there will be a larger pool with which to potentially fund long-term projects…

The Commission will ask the bloc’s insurance watchdog in the second half of this year for advice on a possible draft law “to mobilize more personal pension savings for long-term financing”, the document said.

In Europe, they also tend to love any “Big Brother” technologies that will allow them to watch, track, monitor and record the activities of their citizens.

For example, it has been reported that in the UK there are 1.85 million video cameras watching the population, and London has been called “the most watched city in the world“.

The control freaks in the UK are so paranoid that it is even illegal to carry a knife in public, but despite all of their crazy laws the rate of violent crime in the UK is still far higher than it is in the United States.

Now, the UK has decided that all of the medical records for the entire population will be gathered into a single database.  The following is from a recent TechDirt article

The UK government is currently building a database called care.data that will contain all of England’s medical records. It’s being promoted as providing valuable information for healthcare management and medical researchers that will lead to improved treatment.

But this database will not be private.  In fact, it is being reported that information from this database will be sold to drug companies and insurance companies

Drug and insurance companies will from later this year be able to buy information on patients – including mental health conditions and diseases such as cancer, as well as smoking and drinking habits – once a single English database of medical data has been created.

Harvested from GP and hospital records, medical data covering the entire population will be uploaded to the repository controlled by a new arms-length NHS information centre, starting in March. Never before has the entire medical history of the nation been digitised and stored in one place.

How would you feel if that was being done to your private medical information?

Not that the U.S. is a bastion of freedom and liberty these days either.

For example, Infowars is reporting that the Department of Homeland Security plans to launch a “national license plate tracking system”…

The Department of Homeland Security is set to activate a national license plate tracking system that will be shared with law enforcement, allowing DHS officers to take photos of any license plate using their smartphone and upload it to a database which will include a “hot list” of “target vehicles”.

The details are included in a PDF attachment uploaded yesterday to the Federal Business Opportunities website under a solicitation entitled “National License Plate Recognition Database.”

The system will “track vehicle license plate numbers that pass through cameras or are voluntarily entered into the system from a variety of sources (access control systems, asset recovery specialists, etc.) and uploaded to share with law enforcement” in order to help locate “criminal aliens and absconders.”

And for many more ways that the U.S. is becoming a “Big Brother society”, please see my previous article entitled “32 Privacy Destroying Technologies That Are Systematically Transforming America Into A Giant Prison“.

Another way that America is becoming more like Europe is in the area of religious behavior.

At one time, Europe was a hotbed for religious faith.  Of course those days are long gone.  And the United States is now heading down the exact same path, although Europe is still way ahead of us.  The following is from a Pew Research survey conducted a few years ago…

Half of Americans deem religion very important in their lives; fewer than a quarter in Spain (22%), Germany (21%), Britain (17%) and France (13%) share this view.

So why has religion become so unimportant?

Well, it is because that is what the government system tells them to believe from the time that they are little children.

As I mentioned earlier, the government dominates your life from the beginning to the end in Europe.  This even includes decisions about ending your life.

In fact, in Belgium they actually want to extend the euthanasia law to children

Making the argument that everybody has the right to die, Karine Lalieux, a Socialist member of the Belgian House, is pushing legislation that would extend the country’s 2002 euthanasia law to minors under 18.

“Our responsibility is to allow everybody to live, but also to die, in dignity,’’ said Lalieux.

And in the Netherlands they actually have mobile euthanasia teams that go door to door helping elderly people end their lives in the comfort of their own homes.

Europe is not a model for the rest of us to follow.

Instead, Europe should serve as a stark warning to the rest of the world about what can happen when you let the control freaks get too much control.

So what do you think?

Please feel free to share your thoughts by posting a comment below…

We knew Europe was not the way to go, when we founded this Country. At the start of this Country, almost all immigration was from Europe. It is sad what our ancestors understood, is beyond so many now.

I would like to point out that this Communism/ communitarian Agenda is everywhere in the West. It is UN Agenda 21 for depopulation. The UK (especially England) is just a massive mind-controlled slave society (despite the relative wealth of the average citizen here compared to abroad) and eventually will be lost in debt. CCTV is everywhere, as are many other systems of ‘social control’. George Orwell laid out this vision in “1984” but this message will be lost upon many in the modern generations, who don’t like to read. As Emmanuel Goldstein said “ignorance is the basis for a hierarchical society”.

There is no global warming. No peak oil. All are made up and events manipulated to suit the agenda of the few at the expense of the many. They attempt to take away US citizens guns, and if they do, the entire West will become an OVERT police state overnight. Finally, the NSA/CIA and other affiliated Western agencies can and do use technology against the citizen. In future, they can suspend your bank account should they so wish. You will no longer be able to buy or sell. Even the internet is not a free place, for many sites are monitored (including this one) and comments can be externally removed/ moderated by the ‘spooks’. Dark days ahead I am afraid, as personal responsibility and ignorance abound.

LOL! Go back to your closet deviant and don’t make a fool of yourself. Educate yourself on the subject before you make such ignorant statements.

Europe was the way to go and still is.
A Homogenous nation, united in purpose, think Spain, Italy, Germany in the 1930s…glorious nations, the envy of the world socially and economically with No fiat charging usurious banks getting rich and destroying a nation with debt.

AmeriKa is and was a cruel experiment (See JB Campbell on the Masonic Constitution) based on hypocrisy via the Federalist thugs and Jewry running slavery-white Irish and Black Africans.

A nation divided will not stand, they know, I know it, youre too stupid yet to know it. A fractured nation will fall, Europe isnt yet fractured. See Iceland for example.

      • FirstGarden

Does it make you feel taller by chopping off the heads of others?

      • NowAlive

Interesting example of complete insanity. The three countries you mention were fascist. Spain was in a civil war. All three were dying from hyperinflation which then prompted warmongering, racist dictators and led to WW2. You may need to study more than one author.

      • Hammerstrike

Sir, you are troilling us, please stop! We are butthurt!

      • SaiGirl

So you favor “national” socialism or some kind of “corporate” state (classical Italian fascism) ? Or more something along the lines of Generalissimo Franco’s clerical/military police state with largely “private” control of land and industry ?

      • K

So the economy gets tough, and right away the fascists crawl back out from under their rock. Do you think with most of the WWII guys gone, nobody will recognize you? Your one generation too soon. My generation was taught by our fathers and our uncles, just what fascism is all about.

  • Rodster

This is what’s wrong and EVIL about Central Planning and Central Banking that is part of the root cause of Progressivism. The framers were so opposed and warned us about this very same idea because they saw what it did to Europe and fought to gain our freedom from it.
We are on a collision course with a global Orwellian State that sets out to control the lives and watch over every move against it’s people. It’s so bad that in the city of London alone they have 25,000 cameras installed to watch your every move.
And the people are okay with it. It just makes me shake my head to hear that. This is the ongoing march towards a one world government that will a few power hungry elite controlling the masses i.e. serfs.

    • FirstGarden

      “Lets go serfin now
      Everybody’s learning how
Come on and safari with me..”

      NOT.

  • krinks

The articles I’ve read and can’t recall where from now that speak of the EU being planned by high level Nazis late in the war once they came to the realization that Hitler would lose, explains all of this. It also explains why the EU is run in secret by an unelected and anonymous oligarchy.

    • BT

The so called anonymous oligarchy isnt anonymous at all, it is simply powerful J EWs.

  • Upcountry

To push back against this fast approaching police state you need to first wake up a nation of spineless sheep completely preoccupied with sports and entertainment of the very shallow nature. How in the world can that be done??

    • FirstGarden

When their sports stadiums and malls become converted holding camps for the m a i n c o r e, then they will wake up. Albeit, too late.

    • Rene Girrard

      You forgot to add p_orn_graph_y

  • pacific_waters

We all pay lip service to freedom and personal liberty but in our hearts we want government to make the other guy do what we want them to. I can’t count the number of times I have heard conservatives as well as liberals say “Why don’t they do something about it?” Now we have done something about almost everything. So to all you conservatives who asked for the government to mind our manners how do you like it when government wants us to mind everything else?

  • william mony

Europe is not a plan we want to mimic. America’s success was due to our Christianity, hard work, and being responsible for your family and caring for the poor. If we keep going down the Obama path we are truly doomed under his leadership.

    • VT

Europe and Germany in particular couldve been the worlds greatest nation in the world and was in the 1930s, until it was destroyed by World Jewry.

Their success was their hard work, ingenuity, the greatest engineers on the planet, Christianity and no Central Bank fiat debt to Marxist Banksters.

Americas success and now decline is based off of destroying Germany for Jewry.

      • LibertyDwells

You understand every society of the past and some currently were built upon slavery, yes? East and West, Monarchy, socialist, communist, capitalist, all of them. So you are condemning ALL of human history and every form of “government” or…you are indulging in blatant hypocrisy?

If the former then fine, but you really have no point here. If the latter then you…still have no point.

        • Gay Veteran

          uh, ok

        • Malcolm Reynolds

He seems to blame Christianity and America specifically for slavery and that’s where the desire to understand stops. Big time blame America loon.
Keep responding to him, and you’ll come to understand.

Outside of isolating ourselves from this “world” economy as our ancestors that formed this country wanted, I do not see how it can be done.
They put up a tariff system to pay for government. That meant they discouraged world markets. The jobs remained home and the people survived just fine.
We are becoming the Britain of the 21st century.
Regulation by bureaucratic means that is not voted on and not under the control of anyone except a few people behind the scenes.

I have been there, seen that, and want nothing to do with it.
We are not Britain, but we are repeating a lot of their mistakes.

So how do we keep it from happening here? That is the difficult question. I think it is going to end when the entire house of cards crashes down on our heads. That means bankruptcy for the U.S. Government.

Australia and New Zealand are not much better. Bureaucracy is part of a world wide problem and Germany has a long history of using it to do horrible things.
Right now the most bureaucratic, anti-constitutional agency of the U.S. Government has been given control of your health care. They are busy little beavers. They are writing incomprehensible regulation that will result in so much confusion that no one will really understand how it works in two years time.
Take the EPA as an example of incomprehensible regulation. With 3 semi-truck loads full of regulation and increasing, the agency is becoming one of the most powerful places to be in the world. (I cannot prove it but I think it is far beyond 3 trucks full of regulation right now.)
I say the entire regulation business is unconstitutional.
Horror of Horrors, all those rules are illegal?
    Congress makes the laws . . .
Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Or is it? When it is logistically impossible to read all the regulations in a lifetime Ignorance of the law IS a defense.

The only real way out of this mess is to dismantle all the regulation and laws and start over with laws that are simple enough for everyone to understand.
Have you ever played Russian Roulette? You say no, but the bureaucratic regulation of all of us is a form of Russian Roulette. Because you never know which rule you are going to get charged with breaking. Take your pick. There are probably millions of them out there at every stage of the food chain of government from your local zoning to county building codes that only a pro can follow.
And each level, has power over you and me.
Europe has the advantage of being bureaucratically bound hand and foot from a very long time ago.
What we might end up with is a series of drug gangs ruling over everything and simply ignoring any law they don’t like. That is called Anarchy. We are very close to having Anarchy in a lot of places around this country right now.

  • Joe

Hilarious. Has anyone here actually been to Europe? I doubt it.

I just came back from Mexico, Michoacan a place that is arming itself, not only against the Knights Templar cartels, but also against the gooberment of Mexico. I went to see it myself and talk to the people. They told me that they are getting ready for Armageddon, that they have news from sources that are credible that let them know that things in the USA are about to go bad. That an influx of illegals from both sides south of Mexico, and also North of Mexico is about to take place and that Mexico will be inundated with people wanting to live in Mexico to escape the governing authority’s in their homelands. These people told me that they were given directives and also incentives to protect the areas in southern Mexico. They said that men from the American government went down there and told them to stop illegal immigration as much as they can from the south coming up through Mexico because it was better that these other than Mexicans to be caught early in this scenario that is about to unfold. With special attention to middle eastern people coming through there being of the highest importance, and if caught, to immediately inform them that they have prisoners and that they would take them. They have someone that they get in touch with and let them know. When they asked about the northern border the Americans told them that they had that covered. I enquired more, but they became tight lipped after I asked too many questions. I don’t think it’s our actual government that is doing this, but an offshoot, a branch made up of Americans in government that are trying to save themselves and their family’s from as much pain as they can from what is about to unfold.

I totally disagree with your VIEW of Europe as a whole. I live in Europe, in Croatia to be exact, and lived in Canada for 42 years, so I have a comparison and there is NO WAY that I would return back to North America. I can still plant my garden and flush my toilet without paying fines, thank you very much. You writer are a Europhobic and should spend some time here living rather than just reading about it. Don’t believe everything you read or hear, you need to experience it. We may have a lot of laws, but they are not always being followed through, but I can still do a lot more things than Americans can for sure.

    • Don McRonald

      Pipe down you Ameriphobe.

      • Archie1954

Why should he pipe down? Americans are wilfully ignorant and he is just trying to smarten them up a bit.

    • LibertyDwells

That’s funny stuff. You pay more taxes. You live in a more crowded environment. You deal with greater violence per-capita. You have more laws, more direct regulation. You can’t carry a knife in general and can scarcely own a firearm at all…yet neither makes you safer. But you babble about toilets or gardens because you lived in Canada…

      Seriously, go back to sleep.

  • Ines Radman

Many people here in the Balkans yearn for Communism to come back, not for the political aspect of it but because then, nobody worked much and yet had all their needs met, sure you were not allowed to speak against the government, but look at us now, that will get you in jail today. Democracy is putting whistleblowers in jail, or denied their citizenship, I think the USA is a police state and many of us Europeans feel that way as well.

  • chris

I would say that what you are looking at very closely resembles Marxism. However when dealing with authoritarian government does it really matter if it is socialist or fascist? I’d say it doesn’t matter because both are very similar.

    • LibertyDwells

      EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • abinico

There is nothing socialist about Europe. Big corporations rule there just like in the US. The word you are looking for is ‘fascism’ – look it up, you’ll see it describes exactly what you are talking about.

    • LibertyDwells

That you think there is a meaningful difference between the two is cute.

One uses support *by* corporations more than the other, which seeks direct control *of* said corporations, but the result is still the melding of both for the benefit of a ruling “elite”. Both are statist and leftist(left and right being applied under the US application of the terms which you would likely also need to learn).

“The purpose of Compulsory Education is to deprive the common people of their commonsense.“

“Once abolish the God, and the government becomes the

“Fallacies do not cease to be fallacies because they

“Be careful not to be so open-minded that your brains fall out.”

“Take away the supernatural and what remains is the unnatural”

“Moral issues are always terribly complex for someone without principles.”

“When men cease to believe in God they do not thereafter believe in nothing; they believe in anything!”

    A quote from Hillaire Belloc:

“It is a nice question whether ignorance or stupidity play the greater part in human affairs.”

  • Archie1954

Europeans are much more worldly than Americans and much more aware of what is happening worldwide. Americans are wilfully ignorant and don’t have a clue. Living in Europe is living with the World. Living in the US is living with the inmates in an insane asylum. Guess which venue I prefer and yes I’ve lived in both.

    • kctruth

Thanks for sharing your arrogant superiority with us, Archie, we await your further advice to guide our pathetic little lives.

      • Archie1954

It’s quite easy to guide you out of your wilful ignorance , just put a little effort into being more aware of what is going on in the World, including what your own nation is doing elsewhere. Why is that so difficult? Sure it requires a modicum of interest but you can manage that can’t you?

        • LibertyDwells

Ahhh, there it is. It’s not about being aware of what is going on in the world(I of course know more about that than you could ever possibly hope to learn). You simply don’t like the US presence in the Middle East. Which strongly indicates you are just another Jew-Basher like the poster up this thread a ways. Or, perhaps, a Muslim(this is where you talk about not knowing anything about Islam to a person who has studied the cult longer than you have likely been alive).

Silly little eurotrash, you are dismissed.

          • Archie1954

This response ladies and gentlemen is a perfect example of American gross ignorance and racism. LibertyDwells is just another braindead American who is so wrapped up in ignorance he wouldn’t know a Muslim if he fell over one. You don’t study Islam, you experience it first hand as I have, not in the ghettos or the extremist mosques, but in the homes and hearts of the people, the true Muslims. This bonehead has been dwelling on those Muslims who are exacting revenge for American atrocities in their own lands. They are a breed set apart on a holy pilgrimage to end the degenerate, perverse American Empire. They are a tiny fraction of the people of Islam, a very tiny fraction!

Read the words of Jesus. read them well. Then you might have some concept of real love, for humanity, compassion for the masses. When you are aware of your own great sin before an Almighty God, and your own enormous need for mercy, then it becomes impossible to carry on in such a caustic, acidic, cruel tone, that disdains and despises so many of God’s creatures.

Jesus said, You know a tree by its fruit.

The great apostle Paul spoke about love –

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

“And though I have the gift of
prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.

“And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.

“Love bears long, and is kind; Love envies not; Love vaunteth not itself up, is not puffed up,

            “Does not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;

            “Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

“Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.”

hey LD, you want to support Israel? go join the Israeli army.
I don’t want my tax dollars going to a foreign government.

Silliness. A vague generalization based on bias and self-serving need. Living in Europe is generally living in a Third World Nation with manners. Either you are stupid, a troll, a paid shill or a simple(dare I say simplistic) liar.

Those who project a sense of superiority over others, are really compensating for the great sense of inferiority that they feel deep inside.

      • Archie1954

You are correct but it doesn’t have to be that way for Americans. They can wake up and understand that others are just as important a part of humanity as they are.

  • Tom

In America they force you to drug your child in school severely brain damaging them ruining their life. Also don’t forget the vaccines and all our poison food. It’s all relevant. Over there they have laws against gmo food. Over here we don’t and gm wheat is killing us all and making us fat and stupid. I’ve been an American my whole life and it’s been a living hell. I might just wanna trade places with one of these people in the UK just to see if the grass is greener.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Europe is a spiritual wasteland, and it has been for the past 30 or 40 years. The more a society is Christian and submitted to Jesus Christ, the less need for any government or laws. And just the opposite is true.

    • dadelaw

Please let’s stop with the Jesus stuff.

America is more of a wasteland than Europe. Europe is sleeping, but the US is a haunt of demons. Where I live in Europe, there are very few fake Christians, but a small number of real, godly Christians. The trouble with the US is the large number of people who pretend to love God, but instead promote evil, hatred, violence, revenge, war, bloodshed and racism. When a country’s heart is turned to God, its laws will follow, as you said. Look at the corrupt laws of the US, which prove that the US loves evil, not good.

I don’t think we will let it get that far, there will be a lot of LIBS killed before that happens!

  • SRVES339

    Another hopelessly Amerisentric, dolt!

Yeah, be careful America or you might become a country that…

    . Doesn’t glorify deadly weapons.
. Cares about, and does something about, caring for the less fortunate… instead of demonizing them as lazy freeloaders.
. Doesn’t legislate “get out of jail free passes” for angry white men who murder “dangerous” unarmed black children.
    . Doesn’t have the highest incarceration rate in the world… U S A, U S A… !
    . Doesn’t monitor each citizen’s every move.
. Doesn’t celebrate greed and corruption, or hold up those most guilty of said behavior as a model of success.
. Doesn’t legislate and/or adjudicate policy that encourages corporate ownership of politicians at all levels.
. Doesn’t believe the level of competent healthcare should be commensurate with net wealth of the patient.
. Doesn’t allow a handful of corporations to control all major news media.
. Doesn’t accept racism as a way of life.
. Doesn’t enable a minority of religious zealots to effectively nullify a legal medical procedure, driving the poor to lethal backrooms.
. Doesn’t allow corporate dominance to the point of being “too big to jail” (meaning the bought and paid for politicians will side with them, and against the best interests of the electorate, at every turn… sorry, but you’re not rich enough to deserve clean drinking water if it gets in the way of corporate profit.
. Doesn’t accept a model of education that prices all but the very rich out of the best schools.
. Doesn’t believe the death penalty has any place in a civilized society.
. Doesn’t believe in murdering their president in broad daylight… and suppressing any and all investigations of the crime for over 50 years.

… yes, be very afraid, and R.I.P. America

F’ing retard…hop skip to the Führer boy

        I’ll take “racists” for a hundred Alex…

  • Tabitha Elkins

Ha ha! Despite these examples, people in Europe still have MORE freedom than Americans. For example, you have a right to demonstrate, have free elections with more than 2 parties, cops can’t legally beat you to death, etc. That’s why I left the US and came to Europe, so I could have more PERSONAL and POLITICAL freedom. Christians can send their kids to a private Christian school if they like, it isn’t illegal here. It is sad that homeschooling is not allowed.

Your web site is an oxymoron. The Demoncrat party endorses Agenda 21. Who do you think is shoving it down our throats? answer: liberal, progressive demoncrats! So if you want to fight UN agenda 21 you better educate yourself on who your in bed with there senior.

Peak oil is still a myth!

    • senior74

Thats what interested me about her site, she is a democrat. I believe the ones that vote democratic & that learn about this are just as much against it as the conservatives! The problem we have is there are so many uneducated democrats. This woman found out about because of working in real estate & learned about the zoning laws, the agenda is keeping people off the land because they want you on a biking path or public transportation.

  • litesoutlibs

    So that justifies socialism?!?!

  • 2Gary2

The best thing that could happen to this country would be to be like Europe and the Scandinavian countries. They beat the US in every measure worth measuring.

  • Tom

I used to think that too but Islam is actually the whore of Babylon. Look up Walid Shoebat he explains it well
