Getting Trump Elected Was Not Enough – We Need A Thousand Liberty Candidates To Run For Office All Over The Nation

The last few weeks have shown us that getting Donald Trump elected is not enough. This Congress is being called “the most unproductive in 164 years”, and thanks to all of the RINOs in the Republican Party Trump’s agenda is sitting dead in the water. Obamacare has not been repealed, taxes have not been cut, there is no funding for a border wall, and Planned Parenthood is still fully funded. It has become clear that simply getting the Republicans control of the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives is not going to get us where we want to go. Starting in 2018, we are going to have to work very hard to replace bad Republicans with liberty candidates that will fight relentlessly for our values.

And I am not just talking about getting a handful of liberty candidates elected. What we really need is for a thousand good men and women to step forward to run for seats on the national, state and local levels all over the nation.

If we sit back and do nothing we are just going to get more of the same, and that is not an option.

The gridlock in D.C. is not just frustrating to us. After the latest effort to repeal Obamacare flopped in the Senate, President Trump was visibly frustrated too

“We are in this room to deliver on our promise,” Trump said. “We have no choice, we have to repeal and replace Obamacare. We can repeal it but the best is repeal and replace and let’s get going. I intend to keep my promise and I know you will, too.”

He added: “People are hurting. Inaction is not an option and frankly, I don’t think we should leave town unless we have a health insurance plan, unless we can give our people great health care because we are close, we are very close.”

I applaud Trump for urging Congress to stay in town. Most people don’t realize this, but Congress actually gets the entire month of August off every year. It would be inexcusable for them to do that again this year with so much unfinished business, but I have a feeling that they are going to stick to the schedule anyway.

Since I am running for Congress, I decided that it would be a good idea to look into how these guys actually spend their time, and I have been absolutely astounded by what I have learned. Members of Congress work less than three days a week on average. And on those “work days”, they spend about twice as much time “dialing for dollars” as they do on the business of the people.

No wonder they never seem to get anything done.

So when they complain that they don’t have enough time to get a health care bill passed I don’t have a lot of sympathy for them.

But if all of the Republicans that voted for past Obamacare repeals would just vote for this one it would already be over. In particular, there are three liberal Senators that are at the heart of the problem

One is Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski; another is Maine Sen. Susan Collins; a third is Shelly Moore Capito of West Virginia. All three of them were all over Obamacare repeal — when they knew then-President Obama would veto those bills.

Now, as we can see, they never really intended to support a real effort to repeal Obamacare, as evidenced by the pitiful excuses they are offering now in opposition to the same legislation they once supported.

Hopefully the Republicans in the Senate can pull something together, because Obamacare is absolutely suffocating families all over this country financially, and doing nothing is not going to be acceptable.

Of course getting Obamacare repealed is just the beginning of what needs to be done. There are literally dozens of issues that need to be addressed, and the Republicans are missing a once in a generation opportunity to dramatically change the direction of the federal government.

Hordes of Democrats are already lining up to run for Congress, and there is no guarantee that the Republicans will keep control of the Senate and the House in 2018.

Normally things shift in the direction of the opposition party during the first mid-term election of a new presidency, but that doesn’t have to happen this time around.

Yes, if we trot out the same old tired professional politicians that have been making a mess of things in Washington there is a good chance that we could get creamed.

But if instead we have fresh, vibrant liberty candidates challenge Republican incumbents in primaries all over the nation, we could actually turn 2018 into a revolution in our direction.

I think that almost all of us are deeply frustrated with professional politicians that use labels such as “conservative”, “pro-life” and “pro-gun” to get our votes but then repeatedly betray our values once they get into office.

Just because someone in an “incumbent” does not mean that they are going to get a free pass this time around.

As I have said before, I believe that this is going to be the most important mid-term election in modern American history, and if the Democrats take control of both houses of Congress it could completely doom Donald Trump’s presidency.

If we are going to win, now is the time to get involved, because most elections are won or lost long before election day rolls around.

Michael Snyder is a Republican candidate for Congress in Idaho’s First Congressional District, and you can learn how you can get involved in the campaign on his official website. His new book entitled “Living A Life That Really Matters” is available in paperback and for the Kindle on Amazon.com.

“Getting Trump Elected Was Not Enough – We Need A Thousand Liberty Candidates To Run For Office All Over The Nation”…… I’ll never understand what Trump has done that has you clowns praising him so much, from my view he’s just another NWO stooge continuing the agenda. But some of you in the “Alt Right” media continue to talk like he’s the best thing since sliced bread.

    • He is ripping the GOP into too many factions, none of which want to be affiliated with the hatred of the Alt-Reich.

As a result, we will not be strong enough to confront the growing Left. We need to REPAIR the Right, not support the Alt-Reich’s goal of DESTROYING the Right.

We need a great American vote out! Vote all the old farts, the corrupt rinos, the never Trumpers out! Identify those that need to go, and send them on their way in the next election! We need to start this campaign right now. Since primaries are what matter most in this regard. We need a list.

THIS is the article we needed to SPREAD. Thanks!

    • Botvinnik

Infowars posted it on their site, more exposure.

      • Uh oh, once something’s been associated with InfoWars, it’s forever going to be mocked and derided.

        • tax slave

Infowars used to be pretty good but it seems like it’s becoming more of a left vs right site & less focus on the power structure (such as Bilderberg).
I don’t recommend it anymore because of too much left vs right, which tends to happen when a site gets too big.

          • True and true.

What did you think of Alex swearing under oath that his website and “persona” were only ever an act, no more than a character to entertain his radio minions? If you’re somehow unfamiliar, he swore that his Alex Jones character was just for entertainment purposes only, so that he might get custody of his kids.

          • Undecider

I don’t think you know much about the show. You’re taking things out of context while not understanding what was said. The “acting” he referred to was his roles in films. You’ve been suckered by MSM disinformation.

          • And what did you think about Alex Jones apologizing (and retracting his stories) over the Twin Falls, Idaho lies about “immigrants ra-ping a little girl”, as well as apologizing (and retracting stories) over his part in fabricating the P!zzagate conspiracy?

Oh, yeah, and also how he personally sent his condolences to the parents of the Sandy Hooks shootings (signifying he understands that kids did die).

          • tax slave

sandy hook was a false flag
amazon (bilderberg) even banned the book

            r u a troll?

          • I don’t think a troll would bother bringing up how Alex Jones, phony conspiracy-pusher, personally apologized to parents of children who were murdered after he’d made so much money pretending the kids/parents were crisis actors.

I’m glad someone had the nerve to refuse to make money from the sales of anything pushing the lie that no children were murdered at that school shooting. If Amazon refused to accept profits from nutjobs pushing nutjob lies, then heck, I can finally say something nice about Amazon.

          • Undecider

No kids died. Zero proof. The school was closed by 2008 from toxic substances and the planning was in effect to demolish it. It was later used as a site for a drill. This drill was advertised to the nation as a real event. You have to love people who think they are smart and can’t seem to do even one ounce of research.

          • Undecider

Alex was all over the place with Sandy Hook. By the time SH came around, Alex seems to have been exhausted with studying conspiracies. The Boston Bombing was the last one he actually did anything with. He let others chase down SH. If you were listening to the show, he had Mr. Halbig on several times. AJ basically took a back seat and got lazy.

I wouldn’t completely agree he kowtowed and got into total apology mode. I think he was trying to smooth things over, in the event kids did die, which they didn’t.

Shed light on who sponsors these RINOs.
It is good that you have named names.
You have not gone far enough.
These people have sponsors they are obligated to. Just like the Democrats have sponsors.
They never even read the bill they were passing. Why? Because it was a done deal anyway.
Our court system sold us down the river when they allowed it into law as a tax. No one was aware they were voting on a tax. That in itself makes it questionable as to whether it is constitutional or not.
Obamacare was sponsored by the people making the most profit from it being enacted. And that includes both parties.
Nixon did one thing early in his political career that no one else was doing.
He went to work and researched his opponent.
So when his opponent said I am against this or that Nixon came back with “then why did you vote on such and such date for it?”
We have a Congressional Record of every law ever voted on and who did what.
Ted Cruz for instance had a remarkably bad record of not voting at all. He abstained on a number of issues he was vocal about.
I think other congress people are the same way.
All Republicans give verbal campaign speeches. We are against abortion. So why did they vote for Planned Parenthood is the question that should be asked.
Holding them accountable for how they have voted should be the number one thing we do.
Yet too many people are not even aware of what their Congress Person has done in the last year or two.
They go to church on Sunday and that is good. They snooze the rest of the week and that is what Republicans in Congress depend on.
They have voted the best benefit and wage package for themselves in history.
These are professional politicians and they know where their bread is buttered. On that they can agree upon.
I will say it once more. Republicans either put up or shut up. If they vote the wrong way, then get rid of them at the first opportunity.
I think both political parties need to clean house.
As a nation we need to take away the voting laws that make it inevitable that they will return to congress.
We need fresh political parties not obligated to the money power structure now in place.
Every minister of every church in this nation should start making their congregations aware of who they are voting for and what they actually stand for not what they vocalize they are for.
It is not about speeches anymore. It is about how they vote.

    • “It is good that you have named names. You have not gone far enough. These people have sponsors they are obligated to.”

Well, dems have been taking note of the politicians who have been siding with their voters and constituents rather than siding with Donald… and those politicians who have voted the will of Americans rather than the will of Donald have been getting flowers delivered to their offices, thank you notes, supportive phone calls and emails, and so on.

It seems the Republicans/RINOs who voted against Crooked Donald have been receiving more positive press than negative. It’d be hard to shame them or such, as they seem very confident they’ve voted the way their own supporters have wanted them to.

      • Undecider

The Democrats have a good friend in the financier and arch criminal George Soros. Care to comment on that one?

  • “This Congress is being called “the most unproductive in 164 years”[…] Obamacare has not been repealed, taxes have not been cut, there is no funding for a border wall, and Planned Parenthood is still fully funded”

1.) This Congress has ONLY been called that by ONE source, WND — a site that does not aim to be honest, in fact they print (and retract) false stories as a matter of routine. Look up “Beulah Montgomery”, an look up “Liberal Feminist Decides to Get Abortion when She Learns her Unborn Fetus is Male”. Both stories were IMMEDIATELY removed from WND because of all the questions that arose from both absurdly impossible stories.

2.) ObamaCare hasn’t been repealed, and the majority of Americans do NOT want it repealed or replaced. Ergo Congress should be thanked.

3.) Taxes haven’t been cut? Well, Empty-hearted Donald tried to take tax money away from Meals on Wheels and other programs for U.S. Veterans, and give MORE money to our already over-bloated Military Defense… both of these things infuriate most Americans.

4.) No funding for border wall? Hmm, most Americans don’t want OUR TAXES to pay for the thing that WE WERE PROMISED we would never pay one red cent for. Thank you again for the win, Congress. Keep Donald in check, and you may all keep your jobs.

5.) Planned Parenthood still fully funded… just like the MAJORITY of Americans want. It is just a small section of the United States which wants to see back alley deaths and/or a ghastly rise in welfare for the new, unprecedented spate of infants every day of the week.

Honestly, you people need to realize that the majority — the VAST majority in fact — of Americans do not think or act like the tiny sliver of Americans who post here. It is not right to allow a tiny minority of any group to make decisions for the rest of the nation.

    • Undecider

      2) Only the Free Lunch Society wants to keep it. No thanks!

  • If that were true (that Donald rolled back 800 Obama regulations), why don’t any democratic or lefty sites know about it? If Donald had rolled back anywhere near that many things the left would be going bonkers from the top of the roofs… and they aren’t.

Also, when you Google your claim, the story only shows up on conspiracy sites, AND the story is copied and pasted word-for-word on each of the sites. It doesn’t have any originality in journalism like you see with REAL stories.

  • ^^^ lol, one of the more sensible claims made here.

    • Carrie Barton

      Okay???

  • While I applaud your aim, you will have no success unless freedom-minded people first infiltrate and conquer one of the two major parties. The minor parties have been effectively shut out of consideration. The establishments of the major parties rule with an iron hand; remember how many of them maneuvered against Trump even after he’d gained the GOP nomination. Thus, the establishment within one or the other major party must be targeted and taken down. This must begin at the local and state levels…and the slow progress that promises is enough to discourage many men of sterling character and good values right out of the effort.

  • MaxRockatansky33

So the Truth is coming out. Owner of this blog has turned to be a Rhino supporter. Just like always. Money talks… The same about wacko fraudster Alexa Jonas and his InfoPeatWars.

    • Why “feminize” Alex Jones’ name to denigrate his idiocy???

There is nothing feminine about Alex Jones but his ✝i✝✝ies.

      huffingtonpost. com/2012/07/16/women-have-higher-iq-scores-than-men-james-flynn_n_1677963.html

Oh, and it’s spelled “RINO”, not Rhino.

      • Undecider

Please explain why any high IQ woman would be suckered by that mafia don Hillary Clinton.

  • Trump was consulting with advisers “about his power to pardon aides,
family members and even himself” in connection to the probe led by
special counsel and former FBI director Robert Mueller.

    Sooooo much integrity, lol.

And here all the bozos who voted for him were *insisting* that HRC would be the one getting pre-emptive pardoning by BHO. Trumpsters couldn’t get anything correct if they were reading it straight off a script.

“The possibility that the president is considering pardons at this early stage in these ongoing investigations is extremely disturbing,” said Warner, the senior senator from Virginia and vice-chair of the intelligence committee.

Jiminy Cricket, when will we wake up from this Trump Nightmare?

    • Undecider

Apparently, you weren’t paying attention during the Obama nightmare. And you would have welcome the HRC nightmare?
