Do Demons Exist? Watch A Demon-Possessed Model Manifest A Spirit During A Live Television Interview

Skull Art - Public DomainDo demons really exist?  If you are not much interested in spiritual matters, this may seem like a very odd question to you.  Perhaps up to this point the only encounters you have had with “demon possession” have been in Hollywood horror movies.  The topic of “demons” just doesn’t come up a lot in our highly secularized society today, and even in most churches people don’t really want to talk about it even though the gospels are full of stories of Jesus casting out demons.  The things that you are going to read about below are quite disturbing.  Before the Internet, most people were simply not going to be exposed to these types of things because they weren’t about to pop up on the evening news or during prime time television programs.  But today, thanks to YouTube, things that happen to ordinary people on the other side of the planet can quickly go viral and be spread all over the planet.

For example, the first incident that I want to share with you comes from Thailand.  Just recently, a Thai model named Thippawan “Pui” Chaphupuang was being interviewed on live television when she bizarrely began manifesting a Thai spirit known as a “pop”

Thirteen minutes into the interview, Thippawan “Pui” Chaphupuang, announced that a “pop” — a cannibalistic spirit in Thai folkore- had come to possess her.

Pui then slipped into Pop as the host asked the ‘ghost’ questions as to why it continued to possess the young woman.

According to an Internet translation, the host asked Pop: “Why can’t you leave her?”

To which, the spirit replied in a strange voice: “Someone sent me here!”

The entity appearing to possess Pui’s body refused to say who had sent it and demanded pigs’ blood as the woman writhed around and shrieked, strangely.

According to Wikipedia, a Phi Pop is “a malevolent female spirit that devours human entrails”.  And if you are familiar with the first five books of the Bible, then you probably already know that the blood of a pig would be considered highly unclean to eat.  You can watch a YouTube clip of this model’s extremely strange behavior as this spirit manifests right here

Of course this kind of thing is not just happening in Thailand.  All over the world, accounts of demonic spirits manifesting seem to be getting much more common.

This next incident that recently popped up in the international media comes from Chile

Disturbing footage has emerged online showing the moment that a “possessed” young woman appears to smile sinisterly after she is told she is dead during a bizarre exorcism session.

The “possessed” woman is shown at the beginning of the video holding a conversation in the Spanish language with a woman dressed in a white robe and wearing a long necklace.

The woman in white appears to be acting as a priestess or exorcist of a religious or spiritual cult, and the young woman is consulting her for solution to a spiritual problem.

You can view video of that incident right here.  But I want to warn you that all of these videos are quite disturbing and should not be viewed by young children or anyone that is particularly sensitive to these things.

In central Argentina, people riding a bus became extremely alarmed recently when a woman started vomiting, rolling her head around, and uttering things “in a deep, masculine, demonic voice”

Bus passengers must have thought they were on the road to Hell when a woman became ‘possessed’ by a demon during a routine journey.

The bus was travelling through the city of San Luis in central Argentina one night when a female passenger began exhibiting some alarming symptoms.

Another passenger began filming on a phone as the woman’s head lolled around and she began speaking in a deep, masculine, demonic voice.

What would you do if you found yourself in a similar situation?  If you would like to see video of that incident, you can do so right here.  There are certain individuals, such as occult expert Bill Schnoebelen, that have been dealing with these sorts of things on a regular basis for decades, but most people have never personally encountered someone manifesting an evil spirit – especially if they don’t go to church.

Another incident that made international news reports recently comes from Mexico

The child, named Said, left his family fearing for their lives after he appeared to have been taken over by a devil.

In the clip, the boy sits in a chair, making strange, throaty noises – as though his voice has been distorted by a machine.

It is believed the incident took place in Montemorelos, in Mexico.

I could go on and on, but I think that you get the point.

Demonic spirits are actually manifesting on a regular basis all over the world, and I anticipate that this will continue to increase in frequency and intensity as we get even deeper into the period of time that the Bible refers to as the last days.

Here in the United States, we can see evil at work all around us as well.  I wanted to mention the following story today, because it is a perfect example of just how sick and twisted we have become as a society.  It turns out that a male high school rowing coach in Michigan was secretly filming female students in the locker room while they were changing

A high school rowing coach in Michigan stands accused of hiding a camera and filming female students changing in a locker room.

Timothy W. Vallier, 30, was arrested Friday after a student discovered a camera with videos of female rowers undressing, WOOD-TV reported.

The camera was inside a Ford Explorer used by Vallier, the Rockford Public Schools men’s rowing head coach.

‘We saw this video camera on the floor of the explorer,’  schools Superintendent Mike Shibler told WOOD-TV.

‘So you know curious teens right — she said I picked it up and started looking at what was on it.’

How sick do you have to be to do something like that?

Unfortunately, just about every kind of evil that you can possibly imagine is growing rapidly in the United States today, but very few people seem alarmed by our stunning descent into evil and depravity.

As a society, we have rejected the truth and we have embraced the darkness, and the consequences of this are becoming quite evident.

But even though we are steamrolling toward oblivion as a nation, most Americans are still in denial.

Most of us still believe that everything is going to turn out okay somehow.

Sadly, if you play with fire you are going to get burned, and it looks like our country is going to have to find that out the hard way.

Sadly, it’s cool in Hollywood and the Music industry to make a pact/bargain with Satan. Evil is now celebrated as good. We are losing our children to this Satanic madness. Look for demonic possession and evil to only increase as our society embraces satanism and continues to reject God. May God have mercy on us.

    • Doug

many people make a pack not believing satan really exists only to discover truth the painful way

  • iris

I think many of us have seen people affected by schizophrenia or bi polar disease, also organic brain damage caused by drug or alcohol abuse, and psychotic breaks can occur for various reasons, but I’ve definitely seen someone whom I believe was possessed. The person’s body movement was entirely unnatural, and the person seemed completely unaware of where and how his body was going. I started praying for him. That said, the Bible tells us that everyone outside of Christ Jesus is actually controlled by Satan, even if demonic possession is not apparent.

    • watchmannonthewall

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against princialities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world…” (Eph. 6:12)
“”Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is NOT from the Father, but is from the world. And the world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God [obeys] abides forever.” (1 John 2:15-17)

God is allowing Satan and his demons to manifest their power more and more so He can test His people, whether they will hold to His Word or follow after evidences of the supernatural. “A wicked generation seeks a sign!”

      • iris

Yes, indeed. We need God’s words as our standard to test spiritual things by.

      • Doug

I’ve seen supernatural manifestations. Our egos don’t want to acknowledge anything greater than itself exists. Once we are broken from the notion that all it explainable we are left with the knowledge spirit exists and we need to trust God to discern what is from Him and what is not.

I think that Iris, below, has correctly stated HO

          • Doug

Christ fulfilled his words when they became flesh and were crucified and a new high priest from Judah after the order of Melchizedek was installed.

Do you know what words are proceeding from His mouth? There is a wide variety of ways people read the words from God that are meant to wake us up to His word in our heart.

Do you have that objective standard in you?

          • watchmannonthewall

I agree with your earlier post that we need to trust God to discern what is of Him and what is not. However, many do not look to His Word to see what is of Him and what is not, but rather to their own thoughts and wisions (wishes + visions).
I wanted to state specifically, and did, that we do not get to make up our own standards, subjectively, but God expects His children to adopt His, an objective, standard! His standard of holiness is revealed in His Word.
I am not following your train of thought. Whose words did Christ fulfill that became flesh and were then crucified so that Messiah was installed as a new high priest?
The writer of Hebrews tells us that Jesus can’t be a priest on earth since God already established a priesthood here, the Levitical one. (Heb. 8:4) This priesthood was given by God to Phinehas as a “perpetual”, forever. priesthood in Numbers 25:11-13. Jeremiah 33:18 informs us God said, “and the Levitical priests shall never lack a man before me to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to prepare sacrifices continually.” This means if there was a temple operating today, there would be priests available to perform the necessary activities! That or God is a liar!
Ezekiel 44:9-16 tells us that even during the millenial reign of Messiah the Levites will be offering sacrifices for the people and the Zadokites, descended from Phinehas, will minister to God in the holy place of the temple at Jerusalem.
All of these are the Words of life that have proceeded from His mouth as told in Deuteronomy 8:2-3. Jesus quoted this passage to the devil at His temptation! We would be wise to do the same! If His Word dwells in us richly, as Paul said in Colossians 3:16, we will not make up our own standard but will live by His.
So yes, I do have that objective standard in me. It is the Word and the Holy Spirt, the water and the fire! I have set about writing His Word on my heart. Have you? I hope so, but many are waiting for God to do it at the rapture. It isn’t going to happen that way; that is why He teaches Torah (Strong’s #8451- “law”) from Zion during the Millenium to those who did not do it in this life! (Is. 2:2-4 & Micah 4:1-3) Some may not make it, if they completely oppose His Law.
Most people have rejected writing it on their hearts but still follow 70-75% of it. They aren’t the bride! The ones who have prepared themselves to walk by the side of the Husband are those who are wise, not the ones who have no oil! Many have no understanding of these things since even the pastors of today don’t! How would the people know them? Everything that can be shaken, will, and is!
“Therefore, putting aside all malice and all guile, and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, as newborn babes, LONG for the sincere milk of the Word, that by IT you may grow in respect to [your] salvation.” (1 Peter 2:1-2)

          • Doug

Where does God tell us to write his word on our heart? If we think we are doing what He said He would do we are playing God.

After His resurrection Jesus explained to his apostles all the prophecies from the Old Testament that were fulfilled (Luke 24:44–48 and Acts 1:3). Over time the apostles came to understand that the physical rituals were no longer necessary. As long as the Temple existed the Jewish Christians could continue to observe those rituals (which they did do), but the rituals were not imposed on Gentile believers (Acts 15:28–29). All Temple rituals ceased in 70 AD with the destruction of the Temple.

His identification of His body as the Temple of God combined with the ritual of the bread and the wine at the Last Supper constitute to me a priestly initiation ritual where Christ revisits and undoes the original sin. an exact reversal of Eve giving to Adam to eat to forget God The last Adam gives to his bride to eat in remembrance before the temple is destroyed and a new creation is made.

Being there is not a temple here today, when you talk about Jeremiah 33 (and it does not make an exception for there being no temple) (besides the fact that there was a levitical priesthood in the desert making sacrifices before the temple was built) how do you read it being there is no burnt offerings being made by the Levitical priests since 70AD?
“Either that or God is a liar!” or you don’t understand God and are leaning on your own understanding of an interpretation from verbally based Hebrew to noun based English.

The word as you interpret it from a translator’s interpretation is an assumption.
You never saw the movie Joan of Arc? where she based her whole crooked on a sword she found from heaven and the guy in jail is showing her different scenarios of how it could have gotten there.

Did you ever look up the phrases “word of God” and “word of the lord” in the scripture? If you do you may understand why I say the Bible is the words from God to wake us up to the word of God in our heart.

          • watchmannonthewall

It was David who said, “Thy Word have I [me] hidden in MY heart that I might not sin against you.” (Ps. 119:11) David understood the two passages of Exodus 34 where God spoke of writing the 10 Commandments the second time, because the king was required to write a copy of the Law for himself. He knew what it said!
Ex. 34:1, God to Moses: “Cut for yourself two stone tablets like the former ones, and I will write on the tablets the words which were on the former tablets which you shattered.” By this we understand the “renewed covenant” contains the exact same words the first one contained.
God said in v. 1 HE would do it, but now look at v.27-28. “Then the LORD said to Moses, ‘[Moses, you] Write down these words, for in accoradnce with these words I have made a covenant with you and Israel. So he [Moses] was there forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread or drink water. And he [Moses] wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.” The 10 Commandments is God’s covenant, God said so!
So who wrote the 10 commandments the second time? Yes! Both Moses and God together did it. This is an indication God expects our cooperation with Him in learning His Law until He comes and burns it on our hearts, never to be forgotten again!
How were they supposed to keep the words of this entire commandment if they did not memorize it? Will it just miraculously “happen”? “I threw in this gold and out came a calf”!
Moses understood the people were responsible to put it on their own hearts. He told them, “Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and stiffen your neck no more.” (Deut. 10:16) They were to cut off the foreskin of their own hearts! Who did Moses tell to do that? This was to the first generation.
As the second generation was just about to enter the Land, Moses spoke to them the following, “Yet to this day the LORD has not given you a heart to know, nor eyes to see, nor ears to hear.” (Deut 29:4) Here again we see part of the responsibility to get His word written on our hearts is His, but we initiate the process by obedience, commitment, and dedication, to honor and respect His Word!
Ezekiel speaks of the restoration of Israel (11:19-21), speaking for God, “And I will give them one heart, and shall put a new spirit within them. And I shall take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them [obey My covenant]. Then they will be My people , and I shall be their God. BUT as for those whose hearts go after detestable things and abominations, I shall bring their conduct down on their heads.” This is when Messiah come to rule and reign.
How can you walk in this life in His ordinances and statutes unless you are walking circumspectly, like Paul told us walk in the NT? If we refuse to learn His ordinances and statutes we will be going after the “detestable things and abominations” since it is His Word that defines what these things are.
Finally, in the NT, John tells us it is our responsibility to work at purifying our OWN walk in a way pleasing to the Father: “Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that, when He appears [Jesus], we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is [obedient to all of His Father’s instructions, and we shall be the same. How?]. And EVERYONE that has this hope in Him PURIFIES HIMSELF, just as He [Jesus] is pure.” (1 John 3:2-3) We work at purifying ourselves by learning His Word and practicing it!
Game time is, “the Great Tribulation”! Until then it is all practice! It will be too late to begin practicing then!
God expects us to continue to write His Word on our hearts until the day He completes the task in a way we will never walk contrary to Him again! This is why Jesus said until heaven and earth pass away not one jot or tittle of the Law will pass away, until all is accomplished. (Mt 5:18) What does, “until all is accomplished” entail? Daniel 9:24 lists the 7 requirements of what must be accomplished. We aren’t there yet despite what many teach!
Is heaven and earth still here? His word hasn’t passed away and the seven are not completed.
I appreciate everything else you wrote and hope you will step back and see, as mentioned earlier, many people believe scripture says things it really doesn’t say.
When the temple is rebuilt at Jerusalem, soon, and the sacrifices begin again, it is when the anti-christ stops them that the Great Tribulation begins. (Daniel 8:9-14 & Mt. 24:15) The term “transgression causes horror” (Daniel 8:13) is equivalent to “abomination of desolation”, in Mt. 24:15.
My thinking, just my opinion, is that it will be “the Christians”, Catholic and Protestant, who clamor most loudly for the sacrifices to stop, erroneously believing Jesus did away with all the sacrifices. I already mentioned the sacrifices are presented in Jerusalem even DURING the millennial reign of Messiah, per Ezekiel 44. Many choose to ignore such clear statements, instead holding to their dogma that has no support in scripture! If we are going to follow Him, we have to quit making things up.
The term “abomination of desolation” is more accurately translated as “The abomination that MAKES desolate.” It is the abomination committed by God’s OWN people, just like at the time of the Maccabees (whatever has been will be), who oppose worship of Him where He put His name, that leads to Him making THEM desolate. If we accept His plain Word without trying to spiritualize everything we won’t make such mistakes, which can kill us!

          • Doug

God wrote the “10 commandments” as He said. What Moses wrote was in accordance with the covenant on stone. I don’t read it that Moses wrote the commandments on the stone and it isn’t written. Beware lest you be deceive like Eve. Eve added to the command “neither shall ye touch it”.

I don’t need a command “thou shalt not murder” because I can see it is wrong without a command verbal or otherwise. I see idolatry like narcissism is evil. I don’t need a written command because God is writing it on my heart. I see it as promises — not commands.

Certainly the pharisees memorized it and it did them no good. God changed my heart when I had no ability to memorize commands but i understood His holy spirit. The words just had a catalyzing effect.

He was rebuking them for circumcising their flesh but not having circumcised hearts. Deuteronomy 30:6 says “Moreover the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live.”

When the temple is rebuilt… They are not bringing in everlasting righteousness by building the temple. It’s only in the end when the city is seized that the remnant will repent and be saved not by anything they did. Their hearts will be cut when they see Messiah — their hearts will be circumcised by God.

We must go to God as Esther went to the king “not according to law” “and if I perish I perish”.

Looks to me you are trying to justify yourself with the law. When I began to be saved it was not I who accepted Christ but he accepted himself in me. I had no more desire to defile myself except a temptation for a time to kill myself but I didn’t want to and God delivered me.

I understand his words and they are spirit and truth. Salvation has been mystical and spiritual for me and is.

Did you know about the backward walk of Jesus? or if you prefer Yeshua.

As to your last question, “No”.
As to the rest, it is good to give thanks to the Lord for the work He has done in each person’s life and the understanding given each. However, Scripture is clear He will not be dealing with the last generation in the same manner in which He dealt with previous generations, so we best not think the way He dealt with mankind in the past will continue in this generation.
The story is told in the NT about Apollos, “an Alexandrian by birth, an eloquent man, came to Ephesus; and he was mighty in the Scriptures. This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being ferverent in spirit, he was speaking and teaching ACCURATELY the things concerning Jesus, being acquainted only with the baptism of John; and he began to speak out boldly in the synagogue. But when Pricilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained the way of God more accurately.” (Acts 18:24-26)
So Apollos was “speaking and teaching ‘accurately'”, but after some other believers heard him, they took him aside and explained things “more accurately.” Humm! Apparently he agreed with them and added some more Truth to that which he already knew. He wasn’t wrong at first. He just didn’t know what he didn’t know until it was explained to him. We have all been there.

A lot of past dealings are prototypes brother. You have wisdom.

The way I follow the law is practicing certain things there is no law against — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. All these things can be practiced by a pork eater who works weekends. Whether or not I eat kosher or keep the sabbath has nothing to do with love as the pharisees and Jesus so aptly proved.

When the wedding contract of the lamb is read, the entire Bible, everyone will equally be sentenced to death. The only difference between those saved and not is who pays the penalty.

When I first believed, I was severely disciplined by God. I received spiritual blessings and walked orderly and kept the sabbath and kosher laws but never preached them. After 3 + years not being in contact with other brethren God led me to a community of brethren who shared all their possessions as common and were gathered every day as taught and practiced by Jesus and his disciples. Shortly after I came there they followed my example and stopped Sunday worship and started to keep the sabbath and kosher.
Keeping the law convicts you of sin. What a hypocrite I am coming to the sabbath with something in my heart not right or an unconfessed sin or dullness…

When you think you have it all the pride and arrogance creeps in. How did such a beautiful life go so far off?

During a period of time I almost died trying to live perfect like Adam in Eden. being a non seed or root eating fruitarian… until God spoke to me near death — ‘Even if you could live perfect like Adam and Eve in Eden what would stop you from doing what they did all over? I’m not concerned in what you eat as the pride you enforce with it.’

For many years before and after that I had binged, confessed I ate too much and binged again. After being healed from my content hangup about food (see above paragraph) God healed me of “binging”.
I decided God was true and he had kept His word “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Next time I binged I thanked God fro forgiving and cleansing me from eating too much. I then asked Him to forgive my unbelief. He said ‘I never made a law on how much is too much but you have guilt because you are using food as an escape’. After that in place of binging I became aware of things that were bothering me and faced them rather than escape into food. I no longer had the desire to binge.

I believe the man eating pork with a good heart is more righteous than the kosher pharisee who tithes mint and looks down his nose at others and has not love.

I’ll post on the backward walk next

Great testimony! I only came to the Sabbath and eating clean walk about 6-7 years ago though I went to Bible College and was in a ledership position within a large local Sunday congregation. I always thought the “pastors” knew something I didn’t so I followed the crowd, at least to some extent even while trying to figure out why some things just didn’t add up.

My eye opening event happened as the pastor preached on the 10 commandments but said since the Sabbath wasn’t commanded in the NT we don’t have to do it anymore. I have four children but I can tell you that if I tell one of them something is his/her responsibility, the fact I don’t get up everyday and remind them doesn’t change the fact it reamains so. Since God says He doesn’t change, I doubt He did. Anyway the pastor gave a writing by Ireanus in the late 2nd century as the authoritative source for why we don’t need to obey God regarding the Sabbath. Sorry, I don’t see his name in the scripture as someone to emulate.
Not only that, but I have learned that it is the not keeping of the Sabbaths, plural, which is what God REALLY judges.
Recall how Vashti had her queenship taken from her when she would not come before the king when he called her. There is a very pointed warning in the statement, “If it pleases the king, let a royal edict be issued by him and let it be written in the laws of Persia and Media so that it cannot be repealed, that Vashti should come no more into the presence of King Ahasuerus, and let the king give her royal position to another who is more worthy than she”!

I later did more research and found the RCC changed the Sabbath to Sunday officially at the Council of Laodicea about 365 AD, fully 330 years after Mesiah died and resurrected. Sorry, I do not recognize the RCC Council as having any religious authority over what God spoke to Moses.

The fact of the matter is that since the Garden mankind has always taken God’s Word and twisted it to use as he wants. That’s a fact. God often lets him get away with it but the days are now here where He won’t anymore, just like when He decided to judge the world with the Flood. Once by water and once by fire.

I understand this as I often corrected and corrected my own children until they finally had crossed the line once too many times. That was it, time to deal with it!

With respect to “I’m not concerned in what you eat as the pride you enforce with it’, pride is a real destructive attitude in God’s kingdom. No matter what we do we will still sin, inwardly if not outwardly, and the OT teaches that. I do not go around looking for sin all over in my life but when I become aware of something God desires from me or a commandment given I didn’t understand before, I do try and begin to walk in the new understanding given. This is me writing His Word on my heart.
I often find as I am obedient He then gives greater revelation, as if to say, “Well done my son! Here is something else for you!”
The day will come when He finishes the task and I will understand all. I do not believe I get to stand before Him and say, “Well, I knew I couldn’t do it perfectly and so I just didn’t see the point in trying.” Wrong answer!! I don’t beat myself up over sin as it seems so many do. The Father doesn’t desire that, just that we make the corrections He brings to us. We keep our hearts soft and tender so the Seed takes root and is well nourished.

I was not from a Christian family and I did not have to convert when I became a believer.

I used to think Irenaeus knew one of the apostles but it turns out it was a different John he knew. I figured if he had direct teaching it meant his teachings were authoritative in understanding or clarifying what the apostles meant but it isn’t so.

To me circumcision or non circumcision makes no difference. If I want to teach my son to obey God’s commands I point out to him that he has no spiritual authority and that’s why he threatens his child and yells at her…

It would gross me out to eat traif but I don’t see anything spiritual in not eating it. It’s just my ancestral diet and I figure it’s wise.

Agree. Discernment is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. A right understanding of Scripture has a lot to do with it, also.

“…Our egos don’t want to acknowledge anything greater than itself exists….”

OR some egos jump immediately to “demonic possession” because it fits their worldview.

oh, but it is on the internet so it must be true!
These videos are about as believable as the video about the alien autopsy at Area 51.

Exorcisms can all be different and I don’t speak Chinese but what was that necklace for?

Demons can disguise themselves as angels of light (righteousness), and Satan loves to use religion to deceive people. With God’s words, he twists something a little here, adds or omits something a little there, and before long, a new theology or even a new religion is invented. I think orthodox Christianity is about a positive, personal relationship with God, made possible by His own atonement for our sins through the Cross and Resurrection, when we simply believe and receive Him. We have to look at Scripture in context, too. When we do, even though there are many translations out there now, if all related verses in the OT and NT are taken into account as belonging to the whole, the truths presented to us by God become obvious. We just have to sincerely and humbly pray for guidance, trusting that the Holy Spirit is keeping His promise to lead us into the absolute truths He has shared with us.

We spoke about this last week at Revive 2016. Ninety-nine point nine % of common Scriptural principles are sufficient to bring us into salvation and to order our lives, if we continue in that walk. It is, as you say, the twists here and there, the additions and omissions, that end up getting people off track over a period of time without even realizing it.

I am aware of a number that begun walking in Truth and swerved out into a false region or doctrine. Dispensational theology is the most prevelant such example. It consists of ignoring the plain meaning of many Scriptures. Satan is a master at this tactic.

For example, our justice system is built on case law. One bad decision on a case then becomes the legal precedent for another and another, the errors compounding at increasing rates, until you finally end up where we are today.

If the judges were required to take each case back to the Constitution, and Federalist papers, and only consider case law instead of building upon it, it would take far longer to get completely off track, if at all. BTW- This is why Messiah teaches Torah in the millenium. It means “foundation” and that is what He intended for it to be for us.

The same is true of Scripture. If we always take situations we face back to Scripture, even if we get off track, we should find ourselves quickly moving back to the Truth, and never get too far off track. It establishes a safe corridor for ordering our lives.

  • Preacher62

Possessed means owned. Scripture says that everyone is owned by one of two forces. All of humanity is either owned by Satan or by Christ. Stop looking out there and start looking within.

    • iris

So true. Even Bob Dylan, (his stage name) who once claimed Christ, said it in one of his songs, “You’re gonna have to serve somebody, it may be the devil or it may be the Lord, but you’re gonna have to serve somebody”. I’d rather look up to the One who created all, than to the created, which includes the angels.

  • Ann Kuczkowski-Griffith

That was not demon possession, I have been involved in healing and deliverance. That was just some show being put on. You would see facial contortions which was not evident.

    • Doug

Sometimes there are facial distortions. i’d agree that that was not “necessarily” demon possession.

May be all that striving to be skinny for money or vanity effected her

The implication here is that there is an under universe parallel to our own. Said Universe being where spirits of various kinds exist. We, as humans, are also part of this Spirit Universe.
Implication being that our souls are controlling our bodies instead of our brains. This universe I speak of is full of demons.
Demons being defined as angels that have left the service of God and are in the service of Satan.
Whole lot of difference between the appearance of angels and the appearance of devils.
What they obviously share is immortality.
Is there evidence of said parallel universe working in conjunction with our own?
The Holy Spirit is suggested as being part of this parallel universe.
Also implied is a civil war between angels and devils.
In Jesus Christ there is implied a hybrid human/god.
In the books of the new testament, Christ actually removed demons from people, cast them into a pig herd which then committed suicide.
So if people take one part of the book and avoid confronting other parts of the book, what does that make them?
Yet that is exactly what is happening with modern day scientific thinking.
Everything can be explained with the physical universe we live in without ever resorting to there being a hidden under universe against which everything plays.
We are obviously not on top of the food chain in this other universe interacting with our own.
Despite obvious evidence of such a place existing, science ignores what it cannot understand.
Are there portals between the two parallel plains? A plain being defined as a set of dimensions perceived by life forms either us or those of an alternate place.
Physics is attempting at a sub-atomic level to understand multiple dimensions not perceived at our size level.
Laymen need not apply for understanding of what is going on with the Universe in which we appear to inhabit.
Needless to say, 11 dimensions have been stated as existing.
Theory having that time itself is subject to multiple dimensional actions sending things backwards and forwards in time at the sub-atomic level.
There are stories of individuals in India having died and then restored in another person’s body with all of their memories intact.
The body in which they went to was vacant.
But these people are firm believers in re-incarnation of souls.
It will be interesting when Jesus returns. Simply because Jesus was while here on Earth in control of demons and spirits and was capable of casting them out of individuals.
Jesus may have information as to how the Universe/alternate Universe actually works.
This is an area in which con artists are every where.
So everything here and elsewhere must be taken with a certain doubting view.
There are qualified illusionists out there quite capable of seeing what is actually happening versus what we think is happening.

  • But even the archangel Michael, when he disputed with the devil over the body of Moses, did not presume to bring a slanderous judgment against him, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

Don’t mess with the devil. Leave it to God.

    • Kim

I agree. Don’t mess with these things; these so called exorcists have absolutely no effect on the “possessed”.

I do believe in demon possession, and the existence of demons. However, demons are powerful– much more than humans and any amulet (for lack of a better word) that is supposed to illicit a violent reaction from said demon in possession is not real. Exorcists have no power to chase it out or off. None whatsoever.

Authentic demon possession is accompanied by actions that reflect the personality of the demon, for example extreme sexual deviance, murderous and torturous acts, and any other acts associated with extreme evil. Theatrics notwithstanding.

  • Chris Gerber

There is a reason that Christians are not to be unequally yoked. Just sayin’.

  • Tired

Angels exist – I am always a doubter – sometimes a poor sinner- not perfect like my mom- one Sunday a rehab group was doing the program at church. I swear I saw nmovement at the top of the ceiling – I saw a form in flight. Serious – I am a show me first person – but I saw a form in the building – may you be blessed regardless of your views or life.

    • greanfinisher .

You wouldn’t likely have seen an angel, but you could have seen a spirit as there are ‘lost souls’ who roam the earth. I’ll also bet that the conditions were ‘just right’ before you spotted the ghost.

  • greanfinisher .

I have never come across an actual demon, but I did briefly see a ghost some years back. He appeared as a balding and dark haired 45 year old man of medium built, and best resembled the hotel clerk (portrayed by Rhys Williams) of the Adventures of Superman ‘The Evil Three’. As I was awakening in the middle of the night, I saw the ghost slowly glide (in mid air) aimlessly and emotionless over my bedroom dresser (much like a lost soul) before he faded away. He wore a white garment, but mainly the upper half of the body was visible (as the lower half became quickly indistinguishable). It was highly doubtful that the ghost even acknowledged my presence as he appeared to be just an aimless ‘lost soul’.

    • iris

Our spiritual safety is in Christ. We may be oppressed or attacked by spiritual forces, but Jesus said that a house divided against itself cannot stand. If one’s hope and trust are in Jesus Christ as God come in the flesh and their personal savior through the gift of the Cross, then the Holy Spirit indwells that person, and evil forces cannot overwhelm or control them. “Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world”. All authority has been given to Jesus Christ, in both the spiritual and physical realm.

      • iris

That doesn’t mean we won’t suffer persecution, loss, sorrow, sickness, etc., but whatever He allows in the life of the believer is meant for the good of all, for the believer’s best, and for His glory and will. God always wins, ultimately.

        • iris

For a true Christian, Satan is now like a vicious dog on a chain, and can’t do anything to us which we don’t consent to. Sadly, we sometimes believe the lies, and can get severely messed up because of it, but if the Holy Spirit lives in us, we will, by God’s grace and mercy, be gotten back on track. He has promised to finish what He has started in us as believers.

Very weak acting in those videos.

Fake, televangelist crap. Demons are real, but this is bullcrap.
