An 11-Year-Old Girl With Terminal Stage Four Bone Cancer Was Just Named Prom Queen At A School In Ohio

This is one of the saddest, yet happiest, stories that I have written about in a long time.  Only about 12,000 people live in the little town of Monroe, Ohio but a remarkable 11-year-old girl that lives there is capturing hearts all over the nation.  Madison “Maddie” Smallwood has been battling bone cancer for several years, and the long-term prognosis does not look promising.  Facing that kind of challenge would be way too much for many young girls her age, but not for Madison.  She has decided that she is going to live life to the fullest no matter how long she has.  So she has made a “bucket list” and is trying to complete as many items on it as she can while she still has time.  And no matter how her story ultimately plays out, she will always be remembered as a warrior that was an inspiration to millions of Americans. More than 40 million people have downloaded the game since it was released last July, and it just seems to keep getting more and more popular. In fact, just watching other people play Fortnite is a full-time obsession for some people. We live in a society where there is so much unhappiness, and addictive games such as Fortnite provide a very pleasant escape from reality. Unfortunately, Fortnite addiction has become a very real phenomenon, and frustrated parents all over the globe are searching for answers. (Read More...)

Why Are So Many Concerned About The Potential Health Dangers Of The 5G Cell Phone Network That Is Going Up Nationwide?

The new 5G cell phone network that is being rolled out across the nation is going to make communicating by cell phone super smooth and super fast.  It will basically revolutionize the entire cell phone industry, and for multitudes of phone users this new era cannot get here fast enough.  But will there be a great price to pay for this amazing technology?  Right now, U.S. wireless companies are installing hundreds of thousands of new antennas, and each one of these new antennas is a microwave transmitter.  If you live or work near one of these antennas, that means that you are literally being bombarded by microwave radiation on a constant basis, and once this entire network goes up nationwide it will be extremely difficult for anyone to get away from this radiation completely.  Some experts are warning us to consider the health implications before it is too late to do anything about it. New Ebola Outbreak Reaches A Major City In Congo As The WHO Warns About The Possibility Of “An Explosive Increase In Cases”

The worst Ebola outbreak in a number of years has health officials on high alert, and the fact that a case is now being reported in a major city is extremely concerning.  As we have seen during past outbreaks, Ebola can spread very rapidly, and the mortality rate during an outbreak is often above 50 percent.  A few years ago, just rumors that Ebola might start spreading inside the United States caused quite a bit of panic out there.  Let us hope that this current outbreak is brought under control quickly, because Ebola is a horrible, horrible disease. UPDATE: After A Nationwide Uproar, Baby Elijah Is Now Home With Mom And Dad

I love it when a tragic story has a happy ending.  Last week I told you all about a mother and a father here in north Idaho that had their newborn child taken away by government bureaucrats right after it was born.  The mother has cerebral palsy, but the truth is that there was absolutely no reason to take that child away from the parents.  In addition to both parents being there, a grandfather also lives in the home, and so there would be plenty of care for the little one.  Well, the good news is that Baby Elijah was restored to Mom and Dad on Friday.  The battle is not over yet, but for the moment this is a major victory. CPS Grabs Newborn Baby From A Disabled Christian Mother After The Parents Expressed A Desire Not To Vaccinate

Sometimes a story comes along that makes your blood boil, and this is one of them.  All over the nation CPS is stealing children from Christian families that express concerns about the safety of vaccines, but I never expected it to happen in north Idaho.  Actually, a large number of families from all over the country have moved to Idaho in recent years specifically because of the vaccine issue.  In Idaho, there is no legal requirement to vaccinate your children, and so no child should ever be taken away because parents do not intend to vaccinate.  Unfortunately, that appears to be what happened in this case. Young Mother In California Threatened With Arrest At A Bus Stop For Not Vaccinating Her Children

Could you imagine being threatened by law enforcement authorities over vaccine records as you are waiting with your children for the school bus?  This is something that literally just happened to one young mother down in California.  One morning she walked her kids to the bus stop and she was approached by an official from the Claremont school district and a police officer.  In very intimidating fashion, they began questioning her about whether or not her children had been vaccinated.  When she refused to answer and started recording the interaction they walked away, but that wasn’t the end of it.  Later she called the police department and explained what was going on, and she was told that she could be arrested for refusing to vaccinate her children. Healthcare Spending Now Accounts For Almost One-Fifth Of The Entire U.S. Economy

Everybody agrees that healthcare costs are way too high.  Back in 1960, healthcare spending accounted for approximately 5 percent of GDP, and by 2020 it is being projected that healthcare spending will account for 20 percent of GDP.  And when you break those numbers down into actual dollars, they become even more staggering.  Back in 1960, an average of $146 was spent on healthcare per person for the entire year, but today that number has skyrocketed to $9,990.  On a per capita basis, we spend far more than anyone else in the world on healthcare.  In fact, we spend almost twice as much as most other industrialized nations on a per capita basis.  Something has gone terribly wrong, and we desperately need to get this fixed. Are you ready for your health insurance premiums to go up again?  Ever since Obamacare became law, health insurance premiums have been rising dramatically year after year.  In 2016, one study found that the average Obamacare premium rose by about 24 percent, and similar increases have been seen all around the nation in 2017.  As you will see below, large premium hikes are on tap for 2018 as well, and rates are going to continue to rise until lawmakers finally do something about this nightmare.
