Is It Wise For Obama To Send Thousands Of U.S. Troops Into The Ebola Death Zone?

Ebola Cases And Deaths Per Day - Photo by Leopoldo Martin RWhen there is a major problem somewhere in the world, Barack Obama loves to show that he is “doing something” by sending a contingent of U.S. troops to the affected area.  But is it really wise for Obama to send thousands of young American men and women into the Ebola death zone?  What are our troops going to do – shoot the virus?  Of course not.  The UN already has 6,000 uniformed peacekeepers in the region, and they are not doing much good.  The truth is that this is a medical crisis that requires medical personnel.  By sending thousands of troops into the heart of the Ebola pandemic, we make it much more likely that Ebola will be brought back to the United States.  Obama should keep in mind that hundreds of health workers have become infected even though they wear protective gear and are trained to deal with Ebola patients.  Our troops have not been trained to deal with Ebola patients and they probably will not be wearing full protective gear when dealing with the general population.  But there are sick people among the general population that could pass Ebola to them. No More Places To Put Ebola Patients In Liberia But Cases Are Growing Exponentially

Ebola Cases And Ebola Deaths - Photo by Leopoldo Martin RThere is not a single empty bed available for an Ebola patient in Liberia right now, but thousands more cases are expected in the coming weeks.  Entire families have been driving around in taxis looking for some place that will take their sick family members, but every treatment facility is already full.  According to the World Health Organization, many of those potential Ebola patients end up returning to their homes where there will inevitably spread the virus to even more people.  What we are watching unfold is literally a nightmare scenario.  According to the WHO, 4,293 cases of Ebola have now been recorded and 2,296 people have died from the disease.  But what makes those numbers so alarming is that the spread of the virus appears to be accelerating.  47 percent of the deaths and 49 percent of the cases have come in the last 21 days.  If Ebola continues to spread at an exponential pace like this, we could be looking at the greatest public health crisis in any of our lifetimes. 30 Million Americans On Antidepressants And 21 Other Facts About America’s Endless Pharmaceutical Nightmare

Pill Bottle - Public DomainHas there ever been a nation more hooked on drugs than the United States?  And I am not just talking about illegal drugs – the truth is that the number of Americans addicted to legal drugs is far greater than the number of Americans addicted to illegal drugs.  As you will read about below, more than 30 million Americans are currently on antidepressants and doctors in the U.S. wrote more than 250 million prescriptions for painkillers last year.  Sadly, most people got hooked on these drugs very innocently.  They trusted that their doctors would never prescribe something for them that would be harmful, and they trusted that the federal government would never approve any drugs that were not safe.  And once the drug companies get you hooked, they often have you for life.  You see, the reality of the matter is that some of these “legal drugs” are actually some of the most addictive substances on the entire planet.  And when they start raising the prices on those drugs, there isn’t much that the addicts can do about it.  It is a brutally efficient business model, and the pharmaceutical industry guards their territory fiercely.  Very powerful people will often do some really crazy things when there are hundreds of billions of dollars at stake.  The following are 22 facts about America’s endless pharmaceutical nightmare that everyone should know… (Read More...)

If You Promote A Cure For Ebola, Men With Guns Could Show Up At Your Door

Police State - Men With Guns At Your Door - YouTube ScreenshotIf I had a cure for Ebola, I could never sell it to you.  I don’t have a cure for Ebola of course, but even if I did I could never promote it.  And if you have a cure for Ebola and you start promoting it on the Internet, men with guns could soon show up at your door.  Unfortunately, I am not kidding.  Even if you have made a discovery that could potentially save millions of lives, that will not earn you an ounce of mercy from the FDA.  In fact, the FDA has just issued a statement that contains a chilling warning for anyone that is claiming that they know how to prevent or cure Ebola.  And without a doubt, FDA bureaucrats are scouring the Internet right now for any sign of an Ebola cure or treatment.  When they find one, they are likely to crack down very hard based on their history.  So if you do have a cure for Ebola, you might want to be very, very careful.  You could end up having men with automatic weapons conducting a military-style raid on your home when you least expect it. Will An Ebola Panic Be Used As An Excuse To Put Large Numbers Of Americans In Camps?

Prison Camp In America - Public DomainNow even the mainstream media is admitting that during an Ebola panic “people could be detained for long periods, merely on a suspicion they might have been exposed to some pathogen.”  As you will read about below, federal law contains some very vague provisions which could be used to indefinitely quarantine large numbers of Americans in the event of a significant Ebola outbreak in the United States.  So where would all of those people be put?  Certainly they would not be mixed in with prison populations, and our hospitals would only be able to handle a very limited number of Ebola patients.  Once our medical facilities are overwhelmed, it is inevitable that those that have Ebola or that are suspected of having Ebola would be housed in temporary holding centers, tent cities, sports stadiums, old military bases and FEMA camps.  Of course strict measures would be taken to ensure that the quarantine is not broken.  So no matter what official name is given to these facilities, they would in essence be prison camps.  No unauthorized personnel would be going in or out.  And since the federal government already has the power to round up and detain anyone “reasonably believed to be infected with a communicable disease”, the potential for abuse is staggering. The One Question About Ebola That Nobody Can Seem To Answer

Questions - Public DomainHow in the world is it possible that more than 170 health workers have been infected by the Ebola virus?  That is the one question about Ebola that nobody can seem to answer.  The World Health Organization is reporting this as a fact, but no explanation is given as to why this is happening.  We are just assured that Ebola “is not airborne” and that getting infected “requires close contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person”.  If this is true, then how have more than 170 health workers caught the disease?  These workers are dressed head to toe in suits that are specifically designed to prevent the spread of the virus.  So how is this happening?  I could understand a handful of “mistakes” by health workers, but this is unlike anything that we have ever seen in the history of infectious diseases.  These health workers take extraordinary precautions to keep from getting the virus.  If it is spreading so easily to them, what chance is the general population going to have? What Will You Do If They Make It Mandatory For All Americans To Take An Ebola Vaccine?

Ebola Vaccine - Public DomainAs the Ebola death toll rises and as images of bodies being abandoned in the streets of Liberia are broadcast around the globe, there has been a growing outcry for the scientific community to “do something” about this deadly virus.  And as luck would have it, there is an “experimental Ebola vaccine” that is ready to be tested on humans next month.  If Ebola starts to spread outside of Africa, and especially if it starts spreading inside the United States, people will be absolutely clamoring to get this vaccine.  But will it be safe?  And there will certainly be millions of people that do not want to take this vaccine under any circumstances.  If the outbreak gets bad enough, will it be made mandatory at some point?  If they do make it mandatory for all Americans to take an Ebola vaccine, what will you do? More Than 100 Health Workers Fighting Ebola Have Contracted It Themselves

Ebola - YouTubeSomething is different this time.  This is the worst Ebola outbreak in recorded history, and this particular strain appears to be spreading much more easily than others have.  So far, 1,323 people have been infected in the nations of Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.  Of those 1,323 victims, a whopping 729 of them have died.  But a number that is even more alarming was buried in the middle of a Reuters report on Friday.  According to Reuters, “more than 100 health workers” that have been fighting Ebola in Africa have contracted the virus themselves.  Considering the extraordinary measures that these health workers take to keep from getting the disease, that is quite chilling.  We are not just talking about one or two “accidents”.  We are talking about more than 100 of them getting sick.  If Ebola is spreading this easily among medical professionals in biohazard body suits that keep any air from touching the skin, what chance are the rest of us going to have if this virus gets out into the general population? Possible Epidemic? The Chikungunya Virus Is Starting To Spread In America

Asian Tiger Mosquito - Public DomainCases of the chikungunya virus are appearing in the United States at a level that is far higher than anything health officials have seen in recent years, and now there are two confirmed cases of people that have not even traveled out of the country getting the virus.  That means that the chikungunya virus is starting to spread in America, and once it starts spreading it is really hard to stop.  Instead of spreading human to human, this virus actually spreads “person-to-mosquito-to-person”.  If you live in an area of the country where there are a lot of mosquitos, you should pay close attention to this article.  You do not want to get the chikungunya virus.  According to Slate, the name of this virus “comes from a Makonde word meaning ‘that which bends up,’ referring to the contortions sufferers put themselves through due to intense joint pain.”  That does not sound fun at all.  Fortunately, the U.S. has not really been affected by this disease in recent years, but an epidemic has already been declared in Puerto Rico, and some experts are now saying that it is only a matter of time before we see one in the United States. Japan Begins Purposely Dumping 100s Of Tons Of Radioactive Water From Fukushima Into The Pacific

Fukushima Radiation - University Of New South WalesHow do you get rid of hundreds of tons of highly radioactive water?  You dump it into the Pacific Ocean of course!  In Japan, the  Tokyo Electric Power Co. has made the “painful decision” to begin purposely dumping massive amounts of radioactive water currently being stored at the destroyed Fukushima nuclear facility directly into the Pacific.  This is being done even though water radiation levels near Fukushima spiked to a brand new all-time record high just a few days ago.  The radioactive material that is being released will enter our food chain and will potentially stay with us for decades to come.  Fukushima is an environmental nightmare that never seems to end, but the mainstream media in the United States decided to pretty much stop talking about it long ago.  So don’t expect the big news networks to make a big deal out of the fact that Japan is choosing to use the Pacific Ocean as a toilet for their nuclear waste.  But even though they aren’t talking about it, that doesn’t mean that radioactive material from Fukushima is not seriously affecting the health of millions of people all over the planet.
