A Member Of Congress Explains Why The Corruption In Congress Is Much Worse Than You Think

What would you say if I told you that committee chairs were for sale in Congress? And what would you say if I told you that many members of Congress spend far more time on the telephone raising money than on the jobs that the people of their states actually elected them to do? There is a reason why so many Americans absolutely hate Congress. At this moment, Congress has an approval rating of just 15 percent, and approval ratings for Congress have been at extremely low levels for a very long time. We all know that Congress has become completely corrupt, that it is completely unresponsive to the American people and that it has become all about the money. Many have asked why I would want to become part of such a corrupt institution, and I respond by saying that it is time to take our government back. (Read More...)

What Do You Think Would Have Happened To America If Hillary Clinton Had Won The Election?

As I travel up and down Idaho’s first congressional district, I frequently talk with voters about how we almost lost everything in November 2016. When I ask what a Hillary Clinton presidency would have meant for this country, almost every single time I get a response like “it would have been over” or “we would have been finished”. Our Republic was already hanging by a thread going into 2016, and even four years under Clinton may have been enough to wipe out any hope of ever turning things around. The election of Donald Trump was literally the greatest miracle in modern American political history, but it doesn’t mean that our Republic has been saved. What it does mean is that we now have a narrow window of opportunity to save our Republic. (Read More...)

Why Is The Mainstream Media Freaking Out About What Trump Said About Other Countries So Much?

I wish that we lived in a society where profanity was not widely used.  Unfortunately, profanity seems to be virtually everywhere these days.  Our movies and television shows are filled with it, you can’t escape it in our classrooms and workplaces, and sometimes you will even hear it used by preachers and politicians.  I certainly don’t plan to use profanity when I go to Congress, but thanks to my previous experience in D.C. I know that it is an environment where foul language is frequently used behind closed doors.  At this point there is a tremendous amount of debate about what President Trump did or did not say, but if he did use a profane word it wouldn’t surprise me at all.  As  you will see below, there is a long history of presidents using profanity, and the only reason why this has become such a major controversy is because the left hates Trump so much. Any Republican That Will Not Pledge To Support Trump’s Border Wall Should Not Be Running For Congress

Now that Donald Trump is president, he is the national leader of the Republican Party, and anyone that disagrees with his most important policy proposals should not be running for Congress.  We need to send people to Washington that will help our president get things done rather than standing in the way.  For decades, illegal immigrants have been pouring across our unsecured southern border, and this has created havoc in communities all across America.  We must build Trump’s wall, and we must insist that every Republican that wants to run for a seat in Congress take a pledge to support the president in this endeavor. There Have Been More Than 30,000 Documented Terror Attacks Worldwide Since September 2001

When are we going to say that enough is enough?  According to Act For America, more than 30,000 documented terror attacks have taken place around the world since September 11th, 2001.  And in case you were wondering, almost all of those terror attacks were committed by radical Islamic terrorists.  According to one website that tracks these things, in 2017 alone “there were 2035 Islamic attacks in 61 countries, in which 15,700 people were killed and 14,302 injured.”  Even though ISIS is on the ropes, Islamic terror continues to spread, and we must boldly confront this threat. The UN Tried To Mess With Trump, But They Ended Up With A $285 Million Budget Reduction Instead

When are people going to learn that you don’t mess with Trump?  Over the past several decades, the United Nations has grown into a vast bureaucratic monstrosity that is completely out of control, but previous administrations have just kept feeding the beast.  Thankfully, we now have a president that is not afraid to stand up to the globalists, and the $285 million budget reduction that Trump and his team just negotiated is the largest budget reduction in UN history.  Those that have not read “The Art of the Deal” yet may want to do so, because this is Trump at his best.  The following is the statement that UN Ambassador Nikki Haley put out about this stunning budget reduction(Read More...)

Wake Up! The Numbers Look Incredibly Good For The Democrats Leading Into The 2018 Midterm Elections

If we truly want to take our government back, we are going to have to fight harder than we have ever fought before.  Right now I am seeing so much apathy among Republicans, and that deeply alarms me, because if the 2018 midterm elections were held right now the Democrats would probably take back control of the House and it would be a really close call in the Senate.  Conservatives all over the United States need to wake up immediately, because we only have a handful of months to get this thing turned around.  In 2016, we gave Republicans control of the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives, and this represented a once in a generation opportunity to fundamentally transform the federal government.  Instead, the Republican-controlled Congress has accomplished next to nothing, and the American people are deeply frustrated. Vampires, Zombies And ‘Hooking Up’: 37 Examples Of Real College Courses That Are Almost Too Crazy To Believe

You just can’t make this stuff up.  All over America we push our young people to get good grades so that they can get “a college education”, but then once they get through college many of our young people are completely unequipped to deal with the real world.  Personally, I spent eight years at public universities, and I can tell you that the quality of education that our college students are receiving is a complete joke.  Especially on the undergraduate level, almost all testing consists of either true/false, multiple choice or fill in the blank questions.  Students learn very few useful skills at our “institutions of higher learning”, and many of them leave school barely even able to function in society. Our Dec. 31st Federal Fundraising Deadline Is At The End Of The Month, And We Desperately Need A $30,000 December Miracle

December 31st is the most important deadline that our campaign for Congress has faced so far. All over the country people will be watching to see how much money we raised in the fourth quarter, and a good result could mean lots of support and contributions from Republican organizations all over the country. But a bad result would be disastrous. The key will be to show that we raised more money during our second quarter than we did during our first quarter, and right now we are behind that pace. This time of the year people are so preoccupied with holiday preparations, and so many political campaigns go into “hibernation mode” until after the first of the year. But we cannot afford to do that, because what will happen over the next few weeks could be the deciding factor in whether we win or not next May. If we can raise $30,000 by December 31st we will be where we need to be, and if you would like to help you can do so right here(Read More...)
