April 2016: The Temple Of Baal Will Be Erected In Times Square In New York City

The Temple Of Baal by Bernard GagnonI realize that the headline of this article sounds like it must be false, but it is actually completely true.  The Temple of Baal (also known as the Temple of Bel) was a world famous landmark that was located in Palmyra, Syria.  In August 2015, this temple was destroyed by ISIS, and most of the world recoiled in terror at the loss of a “cultural heritage site”.  In an attempt to “preserve history”, two exact replicas of the 50 foot arch that stood at the entrance to the temple will be erected in April 2016 in Times Square in New York City and in Trafalgar Square in London.  Needless to say, a lot of people are quite disturbed by this.  In ancient times, child sacrifice and bisexual orgies were common practices at the altars of Baal, and now we are putting up a monument of worship to this false god in the heart of our most important city.

When I first came across this story, I could hardly believe it.  But this is not just some Internet rumor.  This was reported by the New York Times

NEXT month, the Temple of Baal will come to Times Square. Reproductions of the 50-foot arch that formed the temple’s entrance are to be installed in New York and in London, a tribute to the 2,000-year-old structure that the Islamic State destroyed last year in the Syrian town of Palmyra. The group’s rampage through Palmyra, a city that reached its peak in the second and third century A.D., enraged the world, spurring scholars and conservationists into action. Numerous nongovernmental organizations are now cataloging and mapping damaged cultural heritage sites in the region.

Of course most non-religious Americans don’t understand who Baal was, nor do they really care.

But the truth is that many of the elements of ancient Baal worship are being mirrored in our society in 2016.  The following is an excerpt from an excellent article by Matt Barber

Ritualistic Baal worship, in sum, looked a little like this: Adults would gather around the altar of Baal. Infants would then be burned alive as a sacrificial offering to the deity. Amid horrific screams and the stench of charred human flesh, congregants – men and women alike – would engage in bisexual orgies. The ritual of convenience was intended to produce economic prosperity by prompting Baal to bring rain for the fertility of “mother earth.”

The natural consequences of such behavior – pregnancy and childbirth – and the associated financial burdens of “unplanned parenthood” were easily offset. One could either choose to engage in homosexual conduct or – with child sacrifice available on demand – could simply take part in another fertility ceremony to “terminate” the unwanted child.

Modern liberalism deviates little from its ancient predecessor. While its macabre rituals have been sanitized with flowery and euphemistic terms of art, its core tenets and practices remain eerily similar.

So considering the child sacrifice and sexual immorality that we are engaged in today, perhaps it is only natural for us to have a Temple of Baal in Times Square.

In the ancient world, the names Baal and Bel were often interchangeable, and they both trace back to the ancient Babylonian god Marduk.  The following comes from Wikipedia

Bel became especially used of the Babylonian god Marduk and when found in Assyrian and neo-Babylonian personal names or mentioned in inscriptions in a Mesopotamian context it can usually be taken as referring to Marduk and no other god. Similarly Belit without some disambiguation mostly refers to Bel Marduk’s spouse Sarpanit. However Marduk’s mother, the Sumerian goddess called Ninhursag, Damkina, Ninmah and other names in Sumerian, was often known as Belit-ili ‘Lady of the Gods’ in Akkadian.

According to research published by Bruce W. Warren and John A. Tvedtnes, Marduk was “a huntergod” that was believed to have been the founder of ancient Babylon according to ancient Babylonian tradition…

The Akkadian name Marduk derives front the Sumerian MAR.UTU, a huntergod. He is said to have led a revolt of the gods against his parents, after which he was enthroned as king of the gods. In Babylonian tradition, it was he who founded Babylon (Babilu, “gate of the gods”). His temple at Babylon bore the name E.SAGILA, “house that lifts up the head”, and the tower associated with it was called, in Sumerian Etemenanki, “house of the foundation of heaven and earth.” The similarity to the tower of Babel is evident.

If you are familiar with the book of Genesis, this should remind you of Genesis 10:9 where we are told that Nimrod was “a mighty hunter before the Lord”.  And ancient Jewish tradition specifically identifies Nimrod as the one that constructed the Tower of Babel.  In addition to Marduk, other names from the ancient world that are linked with Nimrod include Ninurta, Gilgamesh, Osiris, Dionysus, Apollo, Narmer and Enmerkar.  I know that this can get very confusing.  In the following excerpt, Peter Goodgame helps us to connect some of the dots

In Part Eight of this study we examined evidence that Nimrod was known in Egypt as King Narmer, who was later deified as the god Osiris, the Lord of the Underworld. In Part Five we looked at evidence that Nimrod was known to the ancient Sumerians as the great King Enmerkar who attempted to build a huge tower to the gods in the ancient city of Eridu—a city referred to as the original “Babylon” by the historian Berossos.[1] Traditionally the Tower of Babel event has been associated with Nimrod, and Jewish commentaries as well as the Jewish historian Josephus both seem very emphatic on this point. Regarding the Sumerian name Enmer-kar, the suffix “kar” means “hunter,”  and so “Enmer-kar” is in fact “Enmer the Hunter,” just as Nimrod is referred to as the “Mighty Hunter” in Genesis 10. Furthermore, Enmerkar is named on the Sumerian King List as “the one who built Uruk,” just as Nimrod is described in Genesis 10:10 as having a kingdom that began in “Babel (Eridu) and Erech (Uruk)… in the land of Shinar.” After Enmerkar’s death he became honored in Sumerian myth as the semi-divine hero Ninurta, and eventually this cult evolved into the great cult of Marduk, which became the state religion of Babylon after the conquests and religious innovations of Hammurabi.

According to some traditions, the original Freemason was Nimrod.  He created the very first “New World Order” in the post-flood world, and virtually all of the major gods of ancient Babylon, Greece and Rome ultimately trace back to him or traditions surrounding him.

But for many modern occultists, the story of Nimrod is far from done.  A lot of secret societies and occult groups have traditions that tell them that Nimrod/Marduk/Osiris/Apollo/Baal will someday be resurrected and will once again rule the world.

And many Bible scholars believe that the coming Antichrist will either be a resurrected Nimrod or will be associated with him in some way.  For an extensive examination of this view, I would commend to you The Second Coming of the Antichrist by Peter Goodgame and Babylon Rising by Rob Skiba.

With all of the preceding in mind, could it be possible that we are actually erecting a temple for the Antichrist in New York City next month?

If you are not religious, I know that all of this must sound very strange.  But there are occultists that take this stuff deadly seriously, and nothing this large gets space in either Times Square or Trafalgar Square by accident.

There are very powerful people out there that made this happen, and perhaps someone should ask them what their intentions are.

Notice in the below verse that when there is a female ruler the destruction comes on the Great city of Babylon(New York City).

In Revelation it describes this city as the city that sits over the kings of the Earth – UN building is located in NYC, A Woman holding a cup – Statue of Liberty and more.

    Revelation 18:4-10 (NIV)

    Warning to Escape Babylon’s Judgment
4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say:
“‘Come out of her, my people,’
so that you will not share in her sins,
    so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
5 for her sins are piled up to heaven,
and God has remembered her crimes.
    6 Give back to her as she has given;
pay her back double for what she has done.
Pour her a double portion from her own cup.
7 Give her as much torment and grief
as the glory and luxury she gave herself.
    In her heart she boasts,
    ‘I sit enthroned as queen.
    I am not a widow;[b]
    I will never mourn.’
8 Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her:
    death, mourning and famine.
She will be consumed by fire,
for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.

9 “When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her. 10 Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry:

“‘Woe! Woe to you, great city,
    you mighty city of Babylon!
In one hour your doom has come!’

It is very interesting that the first Babylon, not Nimrod’s tower of Babel, but Babylon, was also destroyed in one night, a complete rarity for those days and even today! As you mention above, she is actually destroyed in just one hour!

Additionally, the whore is riding a beast, and a bull is the founding symbol of “Europa”. Does the US more or less control Europe today? Who has guaranteed her security for the last 70 years? Who encouraged (forced) them to take the refuges from the ME? Who is, ultimately, responsible for what happened there today? Do they have a reason for wanting to come back on US? What nation of the earth today sits “upon many nations” enforcing her will?

Scripture states the whore “is sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.” (Rev. 17:3) She appears to be in control of the beast, doesn’t she? The following is speculation, since God will fulfill Scripture howsoever He wills. We can only guess at its ultimat fulfillment for now.

John writes, “The 10 horns which you saw are 10 kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour. [We are told in verse 10-11 the 1st beast has 7 heads and the eighth head is also called a beast (the 2nd), this beast goes to the Lake of Fire, hence one person, rather than a kingdom, who reigns with the 10 kings.]
These [10 kings] have one purpose and they give their power (Strong’s Greek #1411- dunamai, from which we get the word dynamite, or which means, “force, power”) and authority to the beast…

And he [the angel] said to me, ‘The waters which you saw where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will HATE the harlot and make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with fire. For God has put it in THEIR hearts to execute HIS purpose by having a common purpose, and by giving their kingdom to the beast, UNTIL the Words of God would be fulfilled. And the woman [harlot] you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.” (Rev. 17:12-13 & 15-18)

While there is much symbology here, I submit the following understandings for consideration:
1- The “harlot” is one who used to be a follower of God but has gone astray, and is probably the United States. See Hosea 1.
2- The “waters” the harlot sits upon (17:1-2) are the Gentile nations (whom present day US dominates with its world and dollar empire?). Israel is referred to, in prophesy, as ‘the Land”, or “the earth”.
3- The “10 kings” are those having authority. My personal belief is that these are not political rulers but rather monetary ones and likely in charge of nations’ central banks. (Those nations who are the current influencers for, or willing participants of, a cashless economic system?)
4- The 1st “beast” is a composite of 7 “heads” consisting of nations who ruled over Israel in the past and the “10 kings”, horns, on the eighth “head”.
5- The 2nd “beast” IS a political ruler over the nations to whom the 10 financial(?) kings give their authority so as to destroy the great whore (and her empire?).
6- God’s judgment of the great whore brings about the final 8th kingdom which controls the land of israel and is headed up by the anti-christ, the 8th head, who reigns for 3.5 years during the Great Tribulation, or “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble”.
Note the 3.5 years is actually geared towards God attempting to get HIS PEOPLE in line with Him (i.e. the reason why it is called, “The Time of JACOB’S Trouble”), because His people continually refuse to obey/honor/respect Him, and this is not the judgment of the world, which occurs with the 7 vials of wrath. Judgment BEGINS at the house of God and then once that is complete, it spreads outward!

We need to pray for ourselves, our families and read/study/apply and obey God’s Word!

Great comment! I do think that the EU controls us more than we do them in some ways, however. If you notice, we’ve been quite successful at copying Europe’s disintegration of faith, sexual promiscuity, socialistic leanings, etc., and most of those world banks are controlled by families in Europe. The UN headquarters are in NYC, but Brussels is a leading city regarding much of the crud which the UN espouses. I wonder sometimes if Babylon the Great (the one referred to in Rev.) might represent a global system/city, and we’ve certainly gone global in the last 20 or 30 years.

        • watchmannonthewall

Yes, Babylon the Great does represent a global system/city. The ties between Europe and the US are undeniable as most of the early immigrants came here from there. But the rise of the global system/city was the brainchild of Alfred Nobel according to G. Edward Griffith, author of “The Creature from Jekyll Island”.

A former Harvard professor, he has lectured on this and ties the development and use of central banks, developed worldwide as a result of Nobel’s fortune, to facilitate a one world government. The League of Nations was the first attempt and the United Nations is the latest.

The US is the current vehicle being used used to further the aims of those who also desire the outcomes he supported. As stated above, we, the US, have gone apostate and I blieve we are Mystery Babylon which the 10 kings and anti-christ will destroy! Not prophesying, just giving my opinion!

Our leader received a N peace prize from the organization before he’d been in office for 6 months! Has he supported their agenda? Ever wonder why he received that idol without ever doing anything? Interesting!

Great comment, but WAY too long…anyone who is NOT a christian, would pass over ALL that reading, as evil ones do not want to educate themselves on the bible, as they THINK they already know it all… and this is true, as satan can quote a verse, and knows the bible inside and out, just as well any anyone….so they can try to confuse the christians.

        • watchmannonthewall

Yes, Joan. I have a bad tendency to be too long. Unbelievable, I do try to be precise. I admit to writing papers twice the length required in college. Happily, for me, it was before they marked one down for doing so! We are never sure where one is, spiritually, that might be reading this though. Thanks you!

ARE YOU PREDICTING President Hillary Clinton next year?

  • K

As far as I am concerned. This Country has given itself fully over to evil. And since the majority of the people have gone along with it. There is no way Judgement does not fall, on such a Country.

    • Preacher62

      That’s facts

      • jaxon64

Baal was also the chief “god” worshipped by the Moabites. The pre-Islamic Meccans adopted the Moabite deity from the pantheon of deities and referred to him as Hu-Baal or Hu-bal.
Mohammed’s father’s tribe were a faction that worshipped Hu-bal as other neighboring tribes in the are worshipped varying deities of the pantheon. Mohammed eventually decided that Hu-bal was the god of gods and started subjugation of neighboring tribes to force them to worship his deity which he had re-invented under the name “allah.”
History is strange as heck and the same demon/fallen-one seems to be behind so much of the death and evil for millennia. The final incarnation is nearing and the times are gonna get really ugly…we ain’t seen nothing yet.

        • Joan Camara

So true…on your last statement. Very interesting reading on your statement about mohummed. Where did you acquire that info from?

        • Rock Cervantes

What’s the source of this information? It’s very, very interesting. It could be a powerful tool to open the minds of non-Christians, thus, snatching them from the clutches of the enemies.

          • Polymath

Good luck with that! Unfortunately many are diabolically blinded and more will shake their fists at God once the real tribulations begin.

        • Growing

He was also the god of many Israelites through much of their history, hence their banishment to Babylon and Assyria.

    • Joan Camara

True enough! Sad, but true! All we need now, is for a 7 year peace treaty between Israel and Palestians, for the 7 year tribulation to come about. What horror that will be, for the evil, the sinners, the atheists…etc.

      • Abundantz

You’re judging. You should be praying that all those you’ve condemned as “evil, sinners, atheists…etc.” wake up and choose the loving path. Instead you ponder the evil that will befall them — should you worry about your own salvation as you watch your fellow man go down without a fervent wish for their redemption?

        • Polymath

Pul-leese! Do not be just another ignorant Christian.

        • majohn

Condemnation is chosen by those who do not believe; we do not condemn. God’s justice is final for believers and non-believers alike, each of us gets to choose what camp we will be in. God wants none to perish, though many will choose that path. I pray that you will seek forgiveness, give the Creator his due honor and that I will see you on the other side.

        • disqus_miSb9YqCcr

Not to offend but as you are telling Joan Camara that she is judging, aren’t you also being quick to judge? God actually tell us to judge things. If we didn’t then how would we judge between what’s right or wrong, godly or ungodly. I understand the scripture telling us not to judge lest you be judged but this does not mean that you aren’t supposed to let someone know in a loving manner when they are wrong or off the path of God. We tend to assume a lot of things about others based upon statenents made before we know someone or get the fullness of their thoughts. Joan is stating a fact. It will be horror for those who are lost. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t pray for them as you accuse. Maybe this is an oversight on your part? I know for myself when I’m not being quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath I tend to misjudge things (use my own discernment) as opposed to rightly judging things (use God’s discernment) I think we can all admit w e have wrongly judged someone or something at least once in our lives.

        • Larry Hall

They are not judging they are warning.Plus when i use the word of God to tell you something it is not me judging it is the word of God.I only judge based on Gods word.

        • Steven Wilson

Abundance we are to judge according to Gods rules, thus we will be judged also!

    • Abundantz

But you’re judging and you’re not the judge. There are soooooo many of us fighting against evil, and it doesn’t take religion to do it. It just takes guts. Don’t give up.

      • Polymath

Please cure your Scriptural ignorance! There is a huge difference between “judging” and discerning.

    • Handsome Jack

Only as far as YOU are concerned. Reality is different.

    • DarthSidious

K i’m down for whatever, its a free for all. No one cares anymore what happens, everyone wants to be the evil one:).

  • David

Mankind continues to test our Lord’s patience. One slap too many in God’s face & we will face his wrath.

    • watchmannonthewall

It is interesting that Genesis 4:26 ends with, “Then men began to call upon the name of the LORD”, but in Hebrew it actually says, “Then men began to get in the face of the LORD.” If you think about it, the second understanding makes much more sense because even the LORD came to Cain and spoke to him about his anger towards his brother Able. All of Adam’s children knew of the Lord but Genesis 4:26 informs us of when they began to be defiant towards Him.

Regarding Nimrod, the words used are basically the same: he was “a mighty hunter before the LORD” or “he began to get in the face of God”.

The leaders of our nation have certainly followed in their footsteps! The people have voted for such leadership so that tells you where most of our nation is at spiritually!! The outcomes will be no different!
The day actually came where God told Jeremiah to no longer pray for the people! Are we there yet? If not, we are very close!

Check out the three obolisks in NY City and the fact they are in a straight line. Obolisks are aka as “Baal’s Pillar”. I leave the meaning to your imagination. Why not add another pagan symbol to the first capital of the nation?

I was shocked to go the the Grand Canyon a few years ago and find out most (all?) of the rock formations were named after Hindu gods by a guy who traveled to India back in the mid 1800’s. God help us!

        • Joan Camara

If you ever give bible verse numbers, maybe you could give the whole verse? As some “evil” ones, are too evil, to go look it up, or even HAVE a bible. It would be great to have the verse for people to actually SEE it, than have to look it up. Or are you giving just the verse numbers to be in secret, for just “certain” people who already know what that verse says?

2 Kings 21:1-18King James Version (KJV)

21 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hephzibah.

2 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.

3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

4 And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.

6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

7 And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the Lord said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

8 Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.

9 But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the Lord destroyed before the children of Israel.

10 And the Lord spake by his servants the prophets, saying,

11 Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

12 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.

            14 And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

15 Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.

16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the Lord.

17 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

18 And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

2 Chronicles 33:11-19King James Version (KJV)

11 Wherefore the Lord brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.

12 And when he was in affliction, he besought the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,

13 And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord he was God.

14 Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.

15 And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the Lord, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the Lord, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.

16 And he repaired the altar of the Lord, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the Lord God of Israel.

17 Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the Lord their God only.

18 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the Lord God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel.

19 His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sins, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.

I thought you did well on pasting the two passages but then I ran into your sarcasm after reading the first passage. If one is evil then his house is divided. Evil has a anger within that they will not read it even when its in front of their eyes. He who wants the truth will take the time to search for it.. Even You!

        • watchmannonthewall

I certainly agree with you. The question I have is who or where is the Josiah that will lead many people in repentance after our Manasseh? Will God give us one or will He not give us a revival, or at least not until tremendous tragedy comes first to the nation?

          • Bee

Read Rev 11 the two witnesses will be coming. Israel is now preparing for them with the camera’s on the Temple mount. Watch! Many will wake up to condemnation or into righteousness..The truth has to come into the world for people to choose where they will stand. Satan is going to claim to be the king of the world of peace before Christ returns to Judge the world.

Trump! we need a new wall around this that professes the opposite one OF LOVE AND ETERNAL LIFE Volunteers to build it from the faithful who follow the opposite faith. not far from here is Times Square Church started by the late Rev David Wilkerson would have stood up to this and in his memory and all others who have stood for Christ and those of other faiths who stand against evil we need to be allowed to label it for what it is. ANOTHER HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL FOR THAT IS WHAT IT REPRESENTS, THE WORSE IN HUMAN HISTORY AND OF THE DEVIL there IS A POINT WHEN FREEDOM OF RELIGION HAS TO BE STOPPED BY SECULAR LAWS, WHEN THOSE SAY THAT THE PRACTICES OF ONES FAITH VIOLATES SOME OF OUR BASIC CRIMINAL L LAWS AGAINST MURDER !AND PUBLIC INDECENCY AS THE NEXT STEP IS THIS WILL GO ON THE STEPS OF THIS AS IT DID IN ANCIENT HISTORY. WE ARE NOT GETTING AN EDIFICE WHERE SOME WILL JUST PREACH A DIFFERENT KIND OF FAITH THAT PRACTICES DO NOT GO AGAINST BASIC CRIMINIAL LAWS. Jihadists who defy society caring for one another and all equal before the law and our creator who loves us all has , used this destruction in Syria to justify their own evil deeds and two wrongs do not make anything right. Al Queda did the same by destroying the Buddhist statutes which represented a faith that usually never violates societal norms and laws and were a wonderful piece of art for even those who were not of that faith to admire. If this goes up then we have to clearly let it be known what it represents as the way for humanity NOT TO ACT. The devil is a trickster and wants us to lose our Constitutution based on the teachings of the Torah. that Christ had to remind those of his day what they were they had forgotten, and now we have to do the same to find some way to let all know who are ignorant of the history as most of our youth are not permitted to study anything in history class about faiths and that means very little history can be taught as human history usually does involved religion that motivate society’s actions…Linda Joy Adams

You might be aware of all the satanic symbols in the Vatican. Did you know…and this is from Wikipedia….The city of Rome harbours the most obelisks in the world. There are eight ancient Egyptian and five ancient Roman obelisks in Rome, together with a number of more modern obelisks; there was also until 2005 an ancient Ethiopian obelisk in Rome. And you wonder why a lot of people think that the Pope or the Catholic system is the whore riding on the beast mentioned in Revelations.

        • Manuel Paleologus

          I guess you are Pro.

        • bluesuede

Don’t believe everything you read Joan. Many things (including some of what is contributed to Wikipedia) can be lies and false accusations about the holy things of Catholicism. Beware.

The Obelisks in Rome were given at a time when Egypt was making a gift to the Vatican as an act of friendship. Very common practice throughout history in every country.
Catholics put a splinter of the true Cross embedding it at the top of the Obelisk in Vatican square.
Since then, it is an object of sanctification.

        • watchmannonthewall

I do think it is interesting that Rome is in the process of rolling out the welcome mat for those “Protestant Christians” who would like to come home to the “Mother Church”.
I also think it is interesting that last year an Angelican bishop went to Kenneth Copland’s church to extend that invitation to many pastors and “Christian” leaders and many embraced the invitation. I believe Michael wrote about that event.
I also think it interesiting that just a few weeks later the bishop was killed in a motorcycle accident. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

However, I do not think the Catholic Church is the rider of the bull. You’d have to go back into 1st -4th century AD history, but it is apparent the Catholic Church leadership, not necessarily the lay person, has always been about extending its authority, not about the God of scripture. I believe the rider of the bull was once a TRUE follower of God’s Word but went apostate. That can’t be said of the RCC.

I do think the anti-christ will be allied with the Catholic Church, but Muslims and many Christians will also be a part of the one world religion. There is a strong worldwide movement afoot to embrace Jesus across all three religions, but as a prophet of God, while rejecting Him as God come in the flesh.

What’s coming..is the 7 year peace treaty with Israel and Palestinians. That will bring on the 7 year tribulation, the horror of which the world has never seen before. The wrath for sure!

  • DJohn1

I see the fall of a great city. The Baal thing will be the end of it.
London does not need this either.
People need to simply tell them “NO!”
If you want the monument then put it somewhere that people are not around to get hurt by it.
There is more to this than meets the eye.
I also see a vast migration away from New York because there are people that are religious in this country and they will want to get away from what will become a target.

    • Phlyer64

According to Barna research, only 1% of the citizens of NYC meet the test for “Evangelical” Christian (approx. 32% self-identify as Christian). Since there are so few real believers there, the impact on NYC will probably not amount to much – just more evidence of what already exists.

      • Joan Camara

So true! It is said, that satan has only a short time, and well…time is getting short! We wait for a 7 year peace treaty between Israel and Palestine, for the the 7 year tribulation to begin…in which there will be horror unlike anything the world has ever seen…

The judgment of God continues. Meanwhile America is more concerned about who is going to be the next idol, or the last survivor, or who the bachelor is going to bed with this week, or most ridiculous of all; who is going to be the next clown to lead this whole circus into the pit. There are only two sides. Jesus said “if you are not with me, you are against me and if you are not gathering with me, you are scattering abroad”. The temple of Baal was built in this country decades ago, they are just putting up the decorations now. Repent and believe the gospel and you can be saved from the coming judgment. God Bless

The death of strict constructionist, conservative, Catholic Chief Justice Scalia means the US Supreme Court is evenly balanced with four liberal and four conservative justices. Any ruling on which they are evenly split will stand unchanged, which bodes ill for the many cases brought by Christians protesting that they are being robbed of their freedom to live their values in the workplace. The Obama regime cleverly speaks of “freedom of worship” ( a private practice, merely liturgy confined to churches) instead of the traditional “freedom of religion” which is gospel values manifested in daily life, in the marketplace. . . . Most Americans don’t understand the difference.

“…in the case of Anthony Davis, after seven key eyewitnesses recanted their testimony, some fingering a man who testified against Davis, Scalia wrote:
This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is “actually” innocent.”

Ezekiel 8:17: “…for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.” They put “the branch to their nose,” because the fragrance of whatever they were using covered the smell of burning flesh.

Ezekiel 8 is a great example of God pointing out His investigation of His people to Ezekiel. Ezekiel 9 is the execution of the investigation. God always starts at His house first.

I read the aricle in NY Times as well. They said it was a significant place for muslims and christians alike. No christian who has read the bible would have anything to do with baal. The problem is, as it probably was in ancient times, that people don’t know the difference between God and baal or they think they can follow both. Anyone who’s read the bible knows that God won’t accept mixed worship. You must worship him only in the ways he told us to worship him. I suppose it’s fitting if the mother (England) get’s a gate that the daughter (US) will too. We need to tear these high places down.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

In an attempt to “preserve history” as a tribute to the 2000-year-old structure that the IS destroyed last year…….crazy as crazy is.
The recent history of this structure from last year says it was a target and destroyed by the IS.
So, why in the world would they want to put something like this in the middle of Times Square or anywhere in the US knowing that IS knocked it down once, they might be foamimg at the mouth to do it again.
Can you imagine the cost for security that will be involved to protect this at our expense? To invite trouble and risk the lives of everyone in and around Times Square for the sake of this tourist attraction in my opinion, is absolutely insane.
By constructing this arch, they are paintng a bullseye on the target and inviting a horrible situation to the city.

  • Armyvet81

Is there any indication that there are people who worship Baal? I’m just wondering whether the replica is merely being shown for historical significance or not. We can often learn more in situations like this than merely reading about it. For instance, visiting a museum about the holocaust can impress more upon the mind by seeing and hearing than just by hearing. This may be a teaching moment rather than an adversarial or evil event.

    • vince

It doesn’t matter why it is being built. Just like satanists that “don’t believe in satan”, it does not matter what you believe based on your ignorance of God. Fact is, ALL satanists worship satan, whether consciously or by association with the term and are in grave danger, and anyone with a hand in this abomination is worshipping baal. It does not matter if they believe in baal or not. Belief in God is binary. You are either for Him with all your heart, or you are against Him. Period. It is blatantly obvious now is time to choose sides. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

      • Handsome Jack

Not everything is black and white.

Agreed. Also study The Divine Council in Heaven. I’ve been blessed to go to Heaven on three separate occasions. God showed me the principalities responsible for much of our woes. Of course self accountability is primary. The only bridge to Heaven for adults is through Gods son Jesus. God bless!

As was stated so shall it be… the stage is set for the AC… soon we will know who he is and all the speculation will be gone…

  • Jesusisking

Anyone want to protest. Lets show God not ALL of us are down with these crazy people maybe He will have mercy on us.

    • Handsome Jack

You are literally a crazy person.

  • Jim

Hail Baal! Somehow the stupid thing stood for 2,000 years without triggering whatever Biblical nonsense you’re talking about. A couple of styrofoam mockups aren’t going to end the world. I am SO sick of hysterical holy rollers. Please stop foisting your invisible friends on the rest of us.

    • Handsome Jack

Ya it’s pretty silly. And Why haven’t I heard Christians protest the Parthenon in Nashville, TN? That’s a temple of a false god. Shouldn’t they be making things up about underground cults building the temple of Athena for the antichrist to live?

  • Red Pill

If you are a white christian living in the states, may God be with you.

  • Ado Egbdf

Men create deities out of their own insecurities. Every god created is claimed the be the one and only and most powerful and all knowing. Men fight wars with each other to demonstrate their god is the absolute “true” god. Fanatical and fundamentalist belief in religious fantasy is the root of all evil.

    • Handsome Jack

All religions, including Christianity, are designed to cope with death.

  • Nikki Six

so they think its great to put up something that represents burning of children and orgies.but they riot in the streets about the confederate flag. america is doomed

  • Nikki Six

only under obama watch this would be allowed.shows what he really is and what he wants this country to be.

  • Red Eagle

Can I give you a clue to the identity of the Anti Christ. The Greek definition of Anti Christ is “same as Christ” He recently made a statement that “It is dangerous to have a personnel relationship with Jesus!” and promoting Jesus is hate speech. Come to your own conclusions!

    • Ms. Stone

Protestant religions are the harlot daughters of the Babylonian whore.

      • Handsome Jack

        No that’s your mother

        • Ms. Stone

Says the holier than thou Christian. Very befitting. Thanks for proving me right.

        • Ms. Stone

You must be Christian. How befitting.

  • Ms. Stone

They are preparing for the arrival of their Messiah so of course they are going to build temples in his honor. The NWO on our money is no accident. All this has been in planning for centuries. As soon as the church gets taken, this world will be his.

  • Robert

I agree somebody out there thinks they are very clever using the destruction of the temple of Baal by isis as an excuse to build these satanic temples. I don’t know who is behind this for sure but I have my own ideas witch I will not go into here. I believe their goal is to try and evoke another great flood, or equivalent with the assistance of this false god. so they can once again regain control over mankind and its destiny. This is an act of desperation because they are loosing the grip of control over us.

    • Handsome Jack

You are afraid of your own shadow.

  • Handsome Jack

Baal isn’t real; he is a made up god and there is no chance that any normal person from modern times would worship him LMAO. If you are going to be worry about the temple of Baal, you might as well worry about the Parthenon in Nashville, TN. That’s the temple of Athena. I’ve been there and I did not sense any dark power, nor secret cult there. It was a museum, not a place of worship. Christians need to stop being so superstitious and fear driven. Not everything is the antichrist.

  • Handsome Jack

You might as well quote the onion.

  • Handsome Jack

Baal is a god from a long dead religion. The US literally has no connection to Baal whatsoever.

  • Daniel

This was canceled. They realized people arn’t that brain damaged yet to allow this type of open evil in public. Give it another generation and Evil will be socially acceptable enough to openly represent.

  • Save Western Europe

Its only natural and healthy for humans to have fears Jack, but only some humans have the courage to face there fears, Im not a religious man, but I know the difference between good and evil, and I fear evil is relentlessly trying to blend good out of existence and rule undispudedtly over a slave population. I challenge you to do self research on the evil the TALMUD teaches.

the planets have always lined up even in my younger days, all the disasters are G-d’s way of warning the world, he already knew Baal was going to be erected, but pray for the ones that are not with G-d and forgive them their sins towards man kind and causing the deaths of their own children for they will pray the price,Christ be with you.
