In a world where nobody seems to be telling the truth anymore we are often left with more questions than answers.  Instead of just telling us the facts, everything seems to be about getting “the spin” right these days.  For example, the Osama Bin Laden “death story” has already been changed by the White House multiple times.  Fake Osama Bin Laden death photos (like the one above) have been flying all over the Internet.  Massive amounts of radiation continues to pour out of the Fukushima nuclear complex in Japan and yet all the authorities continue to insist that it is nothing to worry about.  The global economy is teetering on the brink of disaster and yet it is being called “an economic recovery”.  The U.S. government has essentially already reached the debt ceiling and yet now Timothy Geithner is claiming that it won’t be a problem until August.  The world is becoming a more bizarre place with each passing week, and the lies just keep on getting bigger and bigger and bigger.


The following are 31 interesting questions about some of the major events happening in our world right now….

#1 CNN is reporting that the clearest death picture of Osama Bin Laden is so graphic that authorities believe it is not appropriate for the public.  But the truth is that Hollywood movies show much worse every single day.  What possible justification could there possibly be for not showing us all the video and all the pictures that they say that they have?

#2 The U.S. government claims that it buried Osama Bin Laden at sea because it wanted to observe “Islamic law”.  Well, it turns out that Islamic law actually requires burial in the ground if at all possible.  So why was there such a rush to dump Osama Bin Laden into the ocean?

#3 The combined debt of the major GSEs (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Sallie Mae) has increased from 3.2 trillion in 2008 to 6.4 trillion in 2011.  How in the world is the U.S. government going to be able to afford to guarantee all of that debt on top of everything else?

#4 The U.S. government has been well over 14 trillion dollars in debt for quite a bit of time now.  Considering the fact that the U.S. budget deficit is projected to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.5 trillion dollars this year, how in the world is it possible that the debt ceiling of 14.29 trillion dollars will not be reached until August 2 of this year as U.S. Treasury Timothy Geithner is now claiming?

#5 Why did silver suddenly start dropping like a rock just when it was about to hit 50 dollars an ounce?

#6 Why is the Federal Reserve giving member banks an interest rate that is eight times higher than the market rate on deposits that member banks leave with the Federal Reserve?

#7 Why has Barney Frank introduced legislation that would remove the presidents of the regional Federal Reserve banks from the Federal Open Market Committee?

#8 If Bank of Japan Governor Masaaki Shirakawa is saying that the economic outlook for Japan is “very severe“, then why is almost everyone in the western media continuing to tell us that the Japanese economy is going to be just fine?

#9 Should we be concerned when the mainstream media tells us that there could be shortages of new cars and car parts this summer?

#10 Should we be concerned that the amount of corn that has been planted so far this year is way, way behind the amount of corn that had been planted last year at this time?

#11 Why have the financial markets been forced to cancel dozens of “erroneous trades” lately?  How are we supposed to have faith in the financial markets when we see this kind of nonsense going on?

#12 Why is the percentage of millionaires in Congress more than 50 times higher than the percentage of millionaires in the general population?

#13 Why is one public school in Chicago banning kids from bringing lunches to school and forcing them to eat whatever the school cafeteria serves?

#14 Should we be alarmed that three Christians were recently arrested for reading the Bible in public outside of a DMV in California?

#15 According to Gallup, 41 percent of Americans believed that the economy was “getting better” at this time last year.  Today, that number is at just 27 percent.  Are Americans losing faith in the U.S. economy?

#16 Why is the mainstream media talking so little about the crisis at Fukushima when massive amounts of radiation are still being released from the site on a daily basis?

#17 Why is Social Security phasing out paper checks and beginning to require everyone to receive their benefits by direct deposit?

#18 Why is the FDA using our tax dollars to take an Amish farmer to federal court over the sale of raw milk?

#19 Is the U.S. housing crisis getting even worse? During the first three months of this year, less new homes were sold in the U.S. than in any three month period ever recorded, and the Standard & Poor’s/Case-Shiller 20-city home price index has fallen for seven months in a row.

#20 Is it any wonder that most of our young adults cannot write decently when50% of all U.S. college students have never taken a class during which they had to write more than 20 pages?

#21 Why does the U.S. continue to allow China to pump massive quantities of their products into our economy when they continue to deny their own citizens even the most basic of human rights?

#22 According to the IMF, China will pass the United States and will become the largest economy in the world in 2016.  So when are average Americans going to start getting upset about the millions of jobs that we are losing to nations such as China due to outsourcing and offshoring?

#23 Why are so many of our once great manufacturing cities being transformed into hellholes?  In the city of Detroit today, there are over 33,000 abandoned houses, 70 schools are being permanently closed down, the mayor wants to bulldoze one-fourth of the city and you can literally buy a house for one dollar in the worst areas.

#24 Why are we seeing so many restaurant brawls and so many random acts of violence lately?

#25 Shouldn’t we be concerned that the area along our border with Mexico is now one of the most dangerous places on earth?

#26 What does it say about America when the murder rate in Flint, Michigan is worse than the murder rate in Baghdad?

#27 What does it say about America when a poll finds that 70 percent of Americans believe that the country is going in the wrong direction?

#28 Is a major global food crisis coming?  The World Bank says that 44 million people around the world have already been pushed into extreme poverty since last June because of rising food prices.  So what is going to happen if we have another year of global crop failures?

#29 Why are sales of “doomsday bunkers” suddenly soaring?

#30 Why has the U.S. government created 257 “foreign trade zones” inside the United States?

#31 Why did riot police in Illinois use tear gas, LRAD sound weapons and crowd suppression tactics against a bunch of college students that were just blowing off some steam at a year-end block party at Western Illinois University?  Are brutal “G20 crowd control tactics” going to be used in every small town in America now?

    There’s an old saying “Never assume malice when incompetence will do”. Most of your 31 points have one thing in common Government run amok. Government either lying to protect it’s self, to protect insiders who give lots of money to various campaigns or simply overreacting. I believe we are living in the death throes of the welfare state, and big government.

    I also would like to comment on point #29 the doomsday bunker craze. This is one of the more bone headed things I’ve heard of. Most of the people who rent a place in these things live in big cities I.E New York, Los Angles, Chicago, Dallas. Most of these things are nowhere near these cities. So you would have to drive several hours (An uncertain exercise during the end of the world) or fly ( More Dangerous and uncertain). This just proves to me most people have no clue as to what a cluster the world would be in of you needed to get to these things.

      For more respect, try doing some research and then stating facts, not just slandering people you don’t agree with.

    I’m afraid you are barking up the wrong tree asking for answers from mainstreet. Whatever is happening has been in the planning stages for decades, we out in the street are not privy to those plans. If you need answers(lies) go ask your government reps or meet with a few memmbers of the Trilateral Commission. Better yet, just encourage folks to buy whatever weapons they can, because more sooner than later, they’re going to need them. The enemy is not some conjured Islamic extremist organization such as Al Queda, Hezbolla or Hamas, the enemy lies within. They are the enemy our forefathers wrote and warned us about.

    You do realize that drinking raw milk is dangerous and can make you very ill. I agree with the FDA on this one. There is a reason why they clean the milk in the first place. also I agree with the Christians getting arrested at DMV because they were probably were annoying other people about the bible ( think of Fred phelps who protests at peoples funerals)

And last, comparing someone talking about/reading the Bible to a man who spends all his spare time insulting the families of slain veterans is not a good argument.

    You are hearing the lies and seeing the faked photos (including OBL and Obama Birth Cert.) to obscure the truth and prevent it from EVER being known.

    If you have a story you want to hide or spin, the best way to go about it is to put out several different accounts of the same thing. You will never get a majority that believes any single one of the stories (or photos) is the truth, and all sides will be equally passionate about what they believe.

    What concerns me is that many people expect the truth from corporations. The truth can not be told by a fiction. It is what it is, regardless of what anyone or any thing says about it.

    What you hold as truth may not be truth to the next guy, even if both are equally passionate about their version of it. That is why you get conflicting “facts” from those who want to gain external influence over your truth.

    In the end, YOUR truth is THE truth. Everything else is a fiction, or anothers opinion about your version of your truth.

    If you want the truth you will have to decide what that is. Whatever you do, don’t leave it up to a corporate representative, elected or otherwise, to tell you what it is.

    The United States of America is surely at a critical crossroads at this time: economically & socially, things will fester like a deep boil—& when the infection finally lances itself, America will either swing to the outer reaches of the right & become a fascist State, or it will swing left, and embrace communism.

    Think those are stupid notions…? Hardly.

    Maybe both are unthinkable at the present moment, but that’s just because things haven’t become bad enough—just yet. But they will. The present path being followed by the U.S.A. is NOT sustainable, and something simply has to give. Hunger & the need for physical shelter have a magical way of trumping every lofty pretext that might reference democracy & personal liberty—especially when it is the masses that are collectively suffering.

    Most of your examples point to one thing — a failure of ethics. Ethics is shot these days — and that’s not just in the USA either. Canadians just reelected Stephen Harper with a MAJORITY despite the brutalities/local payoffs of the G20 summit where unarmed citizens were held for days without charges ever being laid, a Conservative personally changing official documents to deny funding to Christian charities, the firing of federal whistleblowers, the shutting down of food inspection processes, the release and distribution of the private medical records of a war vet who challenged healthcare for veterans, permitting the all-out destruction of the waterways via the Alberta oil sands run by his pals, being found in contempt of parliament… the list goes on. Canada may appear more economically sound under a Conservative majority, but it is also a more dangerous place. We’ve lost the Canada that cared for its citizens. In the Canadian dollar we trust, I guess!

    Someone once told me not to stockpile arms, but questions, because questions would be what would bring everything down.

    And I agree with the milk thing. If you want to buy something unpasteurized, why not? It should be your choice to make possibly hazardous choices if you wish. The Amish drink it that way and they seem to be OK. It might even be good to challenge your immune system from time to time. And you can’t make Indian paneer cheese and other cheeses without unpasteurized milk. Who wants to live in a world without paneer?

    Here are 5 more more interesting questions for your list:

    1. Why does everyone think that Social Security is still an “entitlement” when in 1960 in Flemming v. Nestor the Supreme Court ruled that the principle that entitlement to Social Security benefits is not contractual right?

    2. Payments cannot be made from the “entitlement” trust funds unless there are sufficient monies credited to them. To date neither the Social Security trust fund nor the Medicare trust fund has ever run out of money. But what if they did? There are no provisions in the Social Security Act governing what would happen in such an event. Furthermore there is no authority in law for a general revenue funding of the shortfall. The fund would continue to have payroll taxes credited to it though these would be insufficient to pay all the pending claims. So what happens then?

    3. Since Mr. Obama released an electronic copy of his long form birth certificate, there has been a great deal of discussion about its authenticity. In fact, a book will shortly be released that claims to have all the facts surrounding the President’s mysterious background. What if even one of these “conspiracies” proves to be true? The Constitution does not have an article or amendment that can address this situation so what does that mean for our country?

    4. Public health archives indicate that anyone who has ever proposed a non-pharmaceutical solution to cancer, i.e., something other than radiation or chemotherapy, has been professionally and personally destroyed or outright murdered. Why then do We The People continue to believe that the FDA and the HHS Department are actually interested in public health?

    5. Shares of the Federal Reserve Bank (the Fed)are privately held and the Fed is not in anyway associated with our government. In fact, the Fed is not subject to any government regulations yet is responsible for our country’s monetary policy. In the near 100 years of its existence, which happened to coincide with the law imposing personal income tax, the value of the US dollar has dropped to
    practically zero. Why then are there so few voices in our government speaking out against reforming this situation?
