19 Surveys Which Prove That A Large Chunk Of The Population Is Made Up Of Totally Clueless Sheeple

Sheep Sculpture Photo By Wouter HagensAre we too stupid to continue as a nation?  That may seem like a harsh question, but I think that it is one that we need to ask.  Even though we have more access to information today than ever before, it seems like the U.S. population just keeps becoming more ignorant.  So at what point does a society become so “dumbed-down” that it can no longer function effectively?  We like to complain about our leaders, but the truth is that we are the ones that elected them.  They are a reflection of who we are as a society.  And when you compare Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and John Boehner to men like George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson, they don’t fare too well.  Sadly, the truth is that most of our founding fathers would not have a prayer of being elected today.  Instead, they would be labeled as crazy “extremists” for insisting that we follow the U.S. Constitution.  In our entertainment-addicted society, Lady Gaga would have a much greater chance of being elected president today than George Washington would.  That is how far we have fallen.

Perhaps you think that I am being overly pessimistic.

Perhaps you think that I should have more faith in the American people.

Well, just consider the evidence.  The following are 19 surveys which prove that a large chunk of the population is made up of totally clueless sheeple…

#1 One survey found that 56 percent of Americans believe that it is okay for the government to track “the telephone records of millions of Americans” in order to keep us safe.  Apparently those people have never heard of the Fourth Amendment.

#2 When Bush was president, 61 percent of Democrats considered NSA surveillance to be “unacceptable”, but now that Obama is in the White House, only 34 percent of them consider it to be “unacceptable”.

#3 67 percent of Americans support the use of unmanned drones in “homeland security missions” inside the United States.  What’s next?  Will there be “security robots” that stand in the corner and watch us as we eat dinner with our families?

#4 Close to one-third of all Americans would be willing to submit to a “TSA body cavity search” in order to fly.

#5 20 percent of all government workers and 26 percent of all Obama supporters consider the Tea Party to be “the biggest terror threat” that America is facing.

#6 89.7 percent of Americans believe that they are eating a healthy diet.  Meanwhile, approximately 36 percent of all Americans are obese.

#7 29 percent of Americans believe that “cloud computing” involves an actual cloud.

#8 One survey found that 42 percent of all Americans are unaware that Obamacare is law.

#9 The average American watches 28 hours of television every week.

#10 According to a survey conducted by the National Geographic Society, only 37 percent of all Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 can find the nation of Iraq on a map.

#11 Close to 25 percent of all Americans do not know that the United States declared independence from Great Britain.

#12 We are the most doped up nation in the history of the planet.  As I wrote about recently, a survey conducted by the Mayo Clinic found that 70 percent of all Americans are on at least one prescription drug.  An astounding 20 percent of all Americans are on at least five prescription drugs.

#13 According to one survey, 24 percent of all U.S. teens that have a sexually-transmitted disease say that they still have unprotected sex.

#14 Approximately one out of every five teenage girls in the United States actually wants to be a teenage mother.

#15 As I noted the other day, 48 percent of all Americans do not have any emergency supplies stored up at all.

#16 One survey found that 51 percent of all Americans agree with this statement: “it is necessary to give up some civil liberties in order to make the country safe from terrorism.”

#17 According to a Bloomberg survey, only 16 percent of Americans believe that the Federal Reserve should be abolished.

#18 29 percent of all Americans cannot recall the name of the vice-president of the country.

#19 In 2008, the American people voted to send Barack Obama to the White House.  After four years of watching everything that he did during his first term, the American people turned around and gave him another four years.

As a nation, we no longer seem to care much about what the U.S. Constitution actually says.  When our politicians tell us that they want to ignore large sections of the Constitution, we just shrug and go along with it.

And we have completely abandoned the values and the principles that this country was founded on.  Our society bears very little resemblance to 18th century America, and we like it that way.  We like to think that we have “progressed” far beyond where they were at, but the truth is that our country is coming apart at the seams all around us.

In this day and age, it is imperative that Americans learn to think for themselves.  Way too many Americans are just like sheep – they just blindly follow the herd.

It is time to break out of “the matrix” and to start seeing things for how they really are.  Our nation is crumbling and our leaders are taking us down a path toward oblivion.  We need to wake up our fellow Americans while there is still time.

    So what do you think?

Do you believe that a large chunk of the population is made up of totally clueless sheeple?

    • thas racisss

I think people have been bred as slaves over the years. Think about how violent human history has been towards anyone with a libertarian bent – this is going to be a selective pressure against those types of people throughout the eons, leading to more sheeple. Inadvertantly or on purpose, we’ve been bred to be dumb as hell and tolerant of abuse. Domesticated.

  • jsmith

I think we as a nation are doomed! No wonder I can’t seem to get through to my family!

  • WM

Michael, Yes, I believe that an ever increasing amount of people who live here are clueless sheeple. Not sure exactly what has/is causing this, Perhaps it is the humanistic, materialism and Americans insatiable addiction to being entertained, that we are so distracted that we are blind to what is happening. Perhaps 40+ years of kicking God out of schools has created a spiritually dead generation who has no hope and just lives day to day?

I think that one viable explanation is that the Biblical prophesy of the end of days, one world system, global economy, etc, is starting to come together, and a society that is too distracted or could care less about freedom dn what their government us doing, may be one part of aligning everything to usher in the new world order as promised in the Bible.

The propaganda is everywhere and people simply believe what the government is telling them, totally clueless, that there is an agenda, to disarm, globalize and enslave the population.
its so sad to meet so many people who just have no clue as to the storm that is coming, and just believe that all is well and refuse to believe that the US government may have a very dark agenda.

I love your new book by the way, keep up the great work!

    Grace to you.

Great comment, and I am so glad that you are enjoying the novel.

I took a big risk when I decided to write a novel. I had never done it before. But sometimes in life you have to take risks. And it means a lot to me that people are really enjoying it. :)

“…Perhaps 40+ years of kicking God out of schools has created a spiritually dead generation who has no hope and just lives day to day?….”
or perhaps religious indoctrination is the responsibility of parents, not the state

      • WM

( Your right, it is the parents jobs. Too bad the state indoctrinates children about evolution.

It just seems that since kicking God out of our culture and being antagonistic towards Christianity, removing 10 Commandments from courts, our culture seems to be sinking to new moral lows.

        • Gay Veteran

are there no churches or PRIVATE property on which to post the 10 commandments?

        • Gay Veteran

uh, the schools teach science thus they teach evolution

      • jaxon64

why must you write such hateful responses everytime someone mentions God, the Bible or Christianity?
I know 2 true atheists–people who could care a less about other people’s faith or beliefs ( a bulletin for you: Nobody is attempting to force you to become a Christian or believe in God).
It takes incredible faith to be an atheist–atheism is the BELIEF that there is no God. A true atheist actuall y demonstrates greater faith than most so-called Christians I know by choosing to believe in God when evidence is so abundant by the Universe’s actual existence, that there are laws of physics that govern things, that there is an encoder or code-writer who programmed DNA to perform exact functions…
You sir, are no atheist. You are a bitter, vitriolic, God-hater. You will get your wish. When your physical body dies, you will get your eternal seperation from your Creator–just as you chose. Don’t hate your loving Creator–hate the poor chooser….

        • Gay Veteran

hateful response? for opposing using the power of the state for religious indoctrination???

BTW, I am not an atheist because can be just as arrogant as some theists.
          Religions exists for 2 reasons:
          (1) man fears death,
          (2) as a means of social control (obey the king or you’ll go to hell)

          • Colin

            “Religions exists for 2 reasons:
            (1) man fears death,
            (2) as a means of social control (obey the king or you’ll go to hell)”

No, true believers do not think in those terms.

  • Sequoia

It seems to be that way. Most people believe that this is the best country on earth and that we are a free people. They dont have a clue what is happening, eventhough they know in the back of their minds that something isnt right,

Some people are awake, but it is a minority of the people.

When the rigged elections come around AKA as the PRESIDENTIAL REALITY SHOW,the sheeple keep voting in the same theives and the two corrupt parties over and over again.

Most people still believe what the PRESSTITUTES say and dont want to think for themselves.

I hope there is an awakening before it is too late, because there isnt much more time left, for us to chage things around.

I live in Mexico and a lot of people here dont have a clue what is happening, eventhough they know that their government is very corrupt.

Many people here dont even know about the North American Union and how it will have a very negative affect on Mexico, just like Canada and the USSA.
One thing that the CANADIANS and MEXICANS dont know that if there is a North American Union, they will also be drafted into the military and will fight in Amerikas bloody and wars for profit.
Amerika will have about 150,000,000 more people ,which means more cannon fodder for the industrial war complex.

    • wuzblynd

Well said. So so many just do not care. We have not been a republic since the 14the Amendment. We have been under what is essentially communist rule. If you do not believe this learn more at pacalliance.us

  • Sequoia

Michael, hope you one day will write about the North American union in detail, how it will negatively hurt all three nations

    • MichaelfromTheEconomicCollapse

You are right – I do need to write more about that.

      • Amyah

Yes please…. as we don’t want it here, in Canada… but it seems that nobody care too much about waht people want or not. Is there a way to stop this stupidity?

The star prosecution witness in George Zimmerman’s murder trial finished her testimony today

And in an embarrassing moment, Jeantel was forced to admit in court today that she could not read a letter she allegedly wrote last year about the teen’s shooting, saying, ‘I don’t read cursive

and this sum’s up the state of america today

    • Hope

Actually, I’ve heard from my colleague who has kids in the elementary school system that they don’t teach cursive handwriting. One great-grandmother I know wrote her great-grandson a letter in cursive, and it took him a long time to decipher it.

Also, my colleague said her kids weren’t taught the multiplication tables because they can compute them with calculators.

What they learn in school, I have no idea.

      • rentslave

Today’s educators have no choice but to dumb down everything that they teach because you cannot fool Mother Nature.

        • Colin

Kids learn to write on electronic devices. Ms. Jeantel knows how to text and maintain her Facebook page.

          • thas racisss

Then how did she write a letter in cursive last year?

          • iaintnolibtard

umm, she didn’t write it! score one for the defense showing that she’s a liar.

I don’t think that people are naive. Our changing demographics have left us with a population that is well aware of what is going on-and they’re damn glad of it.By the time they realize their error,we’ll be on that sinking ship with them.

  • WarriorClass III

Unfortunately that is the case. It is a stark contrast to the early Republic when most of the people were very intelligent. In fact, there was a 98% literacy rate among the population, even when including the slave population. I think the reason is that every home had a Bible and everyone read and studied it.

And those people that really try to study the Bible will find that that is no easy task. There are many things in the Bible that are very difficult to understand and it forces you to think and analyze. This mental workout increases your intellectual capacity and insight.

Unfortunately these days, even among Christians, there is only the most casual reading of the Scriptures with no effort to really understand what is being said, and consequently, little or no benefit is derived from it. People are just not exercising their minds, and are therefore mentally flabby.

Even if you study many other books, you are not going to get the mental workout and insight you get from studying and thinking about Scripture, whether those books are on particle physics, philosophy, economics or politics (all of which are in the Scriptures, BTW).

Of course these days, people rarely think about God at all, let alone what He has to say. They are therefore very superficial beings, thinking only about the next clump of grass they can graze on.

It wasn’t that way in early America, but perhaps the other reason is that there were no public schools back then either.

    • Gay Veteran

“… It is a stark contrast to the early Republic when most of the people were very intelligent. In fact, there was a 98% literacy rate among the population, even when including the slave population….”
PROOF please, especially considering the fact that in many states it was illegal to teach slave how to read

      • WarriorClass III

Unfortunately, I don’t remember which book I had read this, but it may have been in the book John Adams by David McCullough. I’ve read so many books on Early American history that its hard to remember where I had picked up some of the information that I know. Regardless of the legality, many slave owners taught their slaves to read.

        • Gay Veteran

oh, so now we’ve gone from 98% to “many”
Why would a slave master teach his field slaves how to read???

          • WarriorClass III

No, I didn’t change the 98% figure; that’s what I read. There were probably many reasons for teaching them to read. Some taught them to read the Scriptures, others had their own reasons. You seem to have a problem with this; perhaps it doesn’t fit your biases. Whatever, do your own research.

          • Gay Veteran

hey junior, you’re the one making outlandish claims, YOU come up with the PROOF

          • NotLikeU

and right into the name calling. BTW, I’d like to proclaim my sexual orientation to the world, I am a breast lover. Just thought I should get that out there.

          • Gay Veteran

you make a claim then you need to back it up with FACTS.
proclaim your sexual orientation??? people automatically assume you’re heterosexual

          • Straight pacifist

Why not stay in the closet? Man on man is the most grotesque concept on the planet.

          • Gay Veteran

you say that as a pacifist?!?!?!?
            what about war??????
what is grotesque is your pathetic ignorance

          • WarriorClass III

I couldn’t care less whether you believe it or not.

          • Gay Veteran

            wow, testy!
and just because I asked for the source of your incredible 98% figure

          • WarriorClass III

It’s just not my job to educate you. Do you own research.

          • Gay Veteran

            all hat no cattle

          • Are you playing with your testes AGAIN, Gay Veteran???

          • Gay Veteran

            no, but your mother is

          • …another attempt to project your sexual deviations again, huh?..

            Sure sounds like it…

          • Ooohhh….someone getting pissy…

          • cliffhutchison

Just because it was illegal doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happen. Marijuana was illegal for several decades, but that doesn’t mean that nobody could get any.

Why do you assume that only “the slave masters” could teach slaves to read? Do you think there were only two kinds of people around: slaves and slave masters?

From this, and you’re other idiotic comments, I see that you’re one of the clueless sheep who just believes whatever most people around you say.

          • Gay Veteran

Learn to read. I didn’t say that zero slaves were taught to read.

And because I want to know where this incredible 98% figure came from that means I’m one of the clueless sheep who just believes whatever most people around me say??? Did you actually read what you wrote because it makes NO sense whatsoever.

          • Colin

            Mr Gay Veteran,

The point was made that there were more literate individuals during the time period described. Whether its 60,70, 80 or 98% doesn’t matter! You are ignoring the point and drug the conversation to youtube comment territory.

The fact is that it is correct, there were more educated people during that time period who were more in tune with the country’s laws, founding principles, and generally kept up with things better.

            Signed: Heterosexual American

          • Gay Veteran

            “…Whether its 60,70, 80 or 98% doesn’t matter!….”
of course, because there is little difference between 60% and 98%

          • wuzblynd

This is an obvious part of our problem. The statement was that we had a 98% literacy rate, even including the slave population. That does not indicate that 98%
of slaves were literate. Learn to read and you may gain a better understanding. It only means that 98% of the total were literate. Now, I personally wonder about that because I think most females were not taught how to read and write, based on some of the information I have read.

          • Gay Veteran

wow, for being literate you sure don’t understand the fundamental point being made: NO proof was presented that there was indeed a 98% literacy rate

          • FreeThinker

At the end of this article: http://mises.org/daily/1425 , there are sources listed.

          • FreeThinker

This link says that literacy was at 98% in Massachusetts (paragraph 4): http://mises.org/daily/1425 . It does not note whom was specifically included in this percentage though.

    • Frank

Doesn’t the bible tell slaves to, “obey (their) masters,” and women to, “keep (their) mouths shut and cover (their) heads, in church?” If you think not, then read Eph. 6:5 and 1Cor.11. Be very careful in asking for what’s in the bible. And please spare us any reply that uses the word, “context.” It says what it says!

      • I don’t expect nonbelievers to obey the Scriptures, and they will always butcher them as you have done. Nevertheless, if you say you believe in them, you should obey to the best of your ability and understanding, so if that’s what you think it says then that’s what you should do if you are indeed a believer. If not, don’t worry about it.

        • Frank

I do believe in an all-loving, Creator God.

          • I believe in the God of the Scriptures, and there are things He hates and will condemn. And the sooner the better.

It is difficult to read the bible because it is the ramblings of a psychopathic warmonger. Abrahamic religions are one of the main reasons humans can not extricate themselves from the matrix of mind control. Abrahamic religions all practice 1. exclusivity, (chosen, saved, or redeemed) 2. patriarchy. 3. a belief in “end times” mentality. There is a centralized abuser/enabler psychology. Christianity was created by Saul. aka Paul. a bounty hunter who ripped off Greek wisdom, and was a traitor to both Jews and Zaddekem. How ironic that those who follow Abrahamic religions call others “sheeple”. We were indoctrinated with Abrahamic religion before the age of 7. We were terrorized with end times horror scenes of eternal flames of hell, and then offered, “salvation”. That is straight-up manipulation, and child abuse as well. I am TIRED of Christian BS, shoved down my throat by idiots, who refuse to think for themselves, and prefer the comforts of group think We can all observe the insanity of Abrahamic religions being played out on a global stage. But of course, being a Christian, you are in the right. WAKE UP!.

Though I have concerns about President Obama, I feel a greater concern for the Congress, especially the House. This body is passing bills that have more symbolic than legislative weight in an effort at pleasing their hard-core base.

    • cliffhutchison

Why do you “feel a greater concern” for the House? Why don’t you just say “Republicans”, because that’s what you mean, but you’re just too much of a coward to come right out and say it.

So, since you’re a cowardly partisan, what did the Democrats do when they ran the whole federal government?

Did they re-regulate the banks by restoring Glass-Steagall? No, just added more “regulatory oversight” by imperfect inspectors that failed to prevent the last two financial crashes (2000 and 2008).
Did they stop the bailouts? No, they kept the money flowing out the door.

Did they end the wars? No, just moved “combat” troops from Iraq to Afghanistan, surging them there from 33,000 to 100,000, while leaving a few thousand “other” US soldiers in Iraq.

      You “have concerns about Obama”?!

Look at the things that Obama is doing all on his own — expanding Bush’s drone strikes to kill a thousand more civilians so far, wiretapping and indefinite detention (to include even US citizens), continuing the same lies about Iran’s “nuclear (weapons) program”, bombed Libya (helping bloodthirsty militants take over that country), and is now doing the same thing in Syria (claiming weapons of mass destruction use in Syria as the excuse).

Yeah, I “have concerns about” Obomber, too.

Of course, the vast majority are clueless “sheeple”, that is the purpose of public education. Until the government funded school programs collapse, there will be only a minority of educated people. The vast majority of people graduating from the government schooling system will believe they are educated but instead have been indoctrinated.

Parents: educate your own children, it has never been easier!

  • Dave Webb

There is an ancient book that discusses what makes people make decisions. It was called the Hidden Persuaders.
You have the wrong animal. I think Beef Cattle is a better description of the herd instinct of human beings. The Bible called them sheep because that is what the Israel People herded.
Your education system is indeed geared to produce mindless wonders. The alpha class of people that are leaders often are drugged into submission by the system through the doctoring of their minds to make them meek.
The hidden persuaders elected Mr. Obama President of this country along with a liberal amount of fraud in the election system. You have exposed a lot of that fraud in your articles. So why is he still President again?
Hidden Persuaders is my theory. Along with an opposition party that wanted him in office because they have far more to gain than lose by having him take the rap for what is going on.
Hidden Persuaders are every where. Including massive advertising to persuade you to buy certain products at the grocery store. The most massive campaign I have ever seen was produced by the American Tobacco Association in the 50s. The results was a huge population of cigarette smokers and cancer victims.
Even the US Military was in on the successful persuasion to put millions of Americans smoking and addicted to cigarettes.
The education system originally was to produce factory workers on assembly lines. The regimented atmosphere produced an entire middle class of workers controlled by college graduates. That entire system has now collapsed.
Now everyone wants to be a college graduate.
But how many want to think for themselves? How many want to be their own bosses and produce their own income from independent businesses?
Money talks. B******t Walks. The last I heard a full page in a daily newspaper cost about $7,000. A back page on a major magazine goes for a lot more.(In the $50s it went for $100,000.) Just to plant hypnotic suggestions so you will chose their product over the competition at the store.
That is why you have a dumbed down population. Money makes the difference!

    • FreeThinker

Good points and thanks for the book suggestion.

I agree people sure seem to act as herd animals. I have been in a store and have gone to an area that nobody was in. As I stood there looking at an item, I was suddenly surrounded by people that were all of the sudden interested in what I was looking at. When I walked away, the people seemed to become confused and watch where I was going next (too bad this doesn’t seem to work on the important issues).

People following the herd seems to have gotten worse and worse over the years. Many Americans no longer have manners or an understanding of personal space, in my experience, and they don’t care if they are wrong as long as they are popular and accepted and in the herd. Perhaps people are just lonely and looking for someone to lead them since so many families are split apart nowadays. I have watched people let a family member be homeless while taking strangers into their homes.

Whatever the reason, there definitely seems to be a herd mentality nowadays. I think it was brilliant how many of our founding fathers had different opinions and views and were independent thinkers, yet they came together on the important things. Now, Americans are divided by things as simple as who will win a reality show on t.v.

  • Bad Kitty Cat

While I agree, I would be carefull about interpreting the survey results. The results can be manipulated simply by how the questions are worded. I would also want to know how they chose the people for the survey, how large the sample is, and how representative it is of the population in question. Otherwise… might it just be a tool to sway puplic opinion, not the other way around?

I’m convinced that the country is full of stupid people. I think Alex Jones is right…fluoride in the water must be making people stupid. Television makes people stupid. Everyone I know watches TV and I don’t…and here I am on this site, reading the truth.

    • iaintnolibtard

it’s not the fluoride…it’s the kool-aid and only the idiots that choose to drink it are affected; it makes them dumber and blindly loyal to the regime.

Propaganda is force fed to children and all the way up to PhD.

    • Hammerstrike

The intelligent have few childrens while the stupid drops them like turds.

      • HerrinSchadenfreude

The implication implicit in your post is highly inaccurate. The children of the accomplished and rich are at least as aimless and apathetic as those of the poor. Perhaps more so, since they have the means to avoid effort.

        • Hammerstrike

          No, it is not.

The rich are not necessarily the most intelligent, especially in the current system.

#7: I imagine a lot of old people who don’t use computers very much increased this. It’s not fair to expect them to know about a technology that they have never used and didn’t exist until they were too old to care.

#17: Similarly, this requires a level a research to reach that position. Most people do not interact with the Fed at all and hence don’t really know how much damage it can do by adjusting interest rate X by 0.25% or whatever.

#3: Well, I would support drones on the border.

endoftheamericandream.com is absolutely got to be the most clueless website to anything that is or most likely will be based on facts. Sound more like fox news if it can be compared with?!?
You do have a point though, we do have Freedom of Speech to say what we do want to say. I for one, do not agree with this article. I guess I do have faith in America to eventually get its bearings once the crazies and idiots are off the position(s) of gerrymandered political seats.

  • A. Edelstein

Most American children start receiving religious indoctrination at a very early age. This trains them to accept wild, unprovable stories later in life. Because of this many can no longer differentiate between fact and fiction. To reverse this, children must be taught by their parents to question EVERYTHING, especially religious books and teachings.

My 6 year old already knows God is as fictional as Santa.

Sheeple don’t want to accept the personal responsibility that comes along with freedom and are too lazy, distracted by entertainment (Flakebook, etc.), and brainwashed by the MSM to research and think for themselves.

  • Bad Kitty Cat

It is true, but I doubt it is as bad as the surveys suggest. Do you think anyone is going to be honest with a pollster after finding out all the info being collected? I know I won’t. I think more people are feeling something wrong… and telling others on the “outside” what they want to hear .

What gives you the impression there is “still time” Michael?

Let’s face it dear. This is over.

  • HerrinSchadenfreude

American has been undermined in every possible way: education, entertainment, religion, government, industry, media, courts. The globalist organized crime syndicate, known among themselves as the Kingdom of Satan, has been very hard at work, slyly, covertly destroying everything good in America.

  • FreeThinker

I don’t know that “we’ve been bred to be dumb.”

However, taking true education away from the people, brainwashing the people into believing the only worthwhile education is the expensive one at government schools and universities, and keeping Americans so busy all they have time to do is work and sleep (some studies have shown Americans work more, take less vacation, and retire later than any other industrialized country) certainly seems engineered. Making many Americans wage slaves, with barely a nickel to spare, ensures there isn’t extra money left over to self educate. Employers just reinforce the government views by demanding college degrees (more years of indoctrination).

Then, those in power make sure that we are all told repeatedly how horrible high school and college drop-outs are. For example, how many times has it been noted that Snowden dropped out of high school now? Are we going to start announcing the GPA of college grads on the news too when they commit a newsworthy act that has zero to do with education? My point, why is a person’s level of formal government education brought up in a news story that had zero to do with the topic of education? Why are they really driving it home on who dropped out of high school? They also did that with the Arias case in Arizona (noted she dropped out of high school) even though her story also had zero to do with the topic of education. Anybody else noticing a pattern? Why do they seem to want to teach us all that anyone that escaped from the halls of government indoctrination are bad people?

    • Jo-Ann Gesterling

In comes the class issues, ,,

  • FreeThinker

So, who are the really “dumbed down?” Those that attend government schools, those that pay for and support government schools even though they are providing little education, those that send their kids to government schools, or those that are part of the $1 trillion + student loan debt because they wanted more of the great Prussian school and degree system in place in the USA (and they willingly submit to a corrupt system)? Or is it “All of the above.”

Everyone that holds a college degree is an accomplice to funding and keeping this Prussian school and degree system in place in the USA. So, college grads should embrace what they have funded: a dumbed down population, done by design and on purpose, by our public education system (which is designed by more college grads).

  • Istlota Everyman

This underscores what I have come to believe, which is that we the American people have ended up with exactly the government that we, collectively, deserve. It is a little late for us to, now, object to the tyranny of the State after allowing that same State to trample upon the inalienable rights of Iraqis, Afghans, Palestinians, Africans, and Central Americans for decades.

  • cimmo

” We like to complain about our leaders, but the truth is that we are the ones that elected them. ”

We are only allowed to elect amongst those candidates that have been SELECTED for us.

We have the illusion of democracy, not the substance.

  • cimmo

“No, true believers do not think in those terms.”

    Because you’ve been indoctrinated.

The cleverest early human was the cave-man that invented religion. As he alone can speak to/for ‘god’, he avoids hard work and everyone else does what he says (in the name of that so-called ‘god’).

The sheeple then do what they are told for fear of the unknown.

Those that refused to ‘believe’ were removed from the tribe (killed?) so the evolutionary process has made this mental defect a common trait.
