100 Foot Asteroid Could Pass Earth 20 Times Closer Than The Moon At 34,000 MPH On March 7th

Meteor Impact - Public DomainDid you know that a huge asteroid is scheduled to make a “close shave” with our planet on March 7th?  This asteroid is known as “2013 TX68”, and it is estimated to be anywhere from 80 to 170 feet in length.  Most news reports are saying that it is 100 feet long.  Scientists are telling us that they are not certain exactly how close this giant space rock will come, and that is rather unsettling.  They say that it could come within roughly 1/20th the distance from the Earth to the moon, or that it could pass by millions of miles away.  Because the orbit of this huge asteroid is unpredictable, they tell us that they don’t really know what will happen, but they insist that it will not hit us.  If it does pass us at 1/20th the distance from the Earth to the moon, that would be about half as far up as many of our communications satellites.  That would be incredibly close, and many are wondering what may happen if our scientists are just slightly off in their calculations.

This asteroid will be steamrolling along at 34,000 miles per hour, and it is quite alarming that our best scientists cannot tell us accurately exactly how close this asteroid will come.  The following comes from NBC News

An asteroid traveling about 34,000 miles per hour is expected to whiz past Earth on March 7. Astronomers are confident the warehouse-sized space rock will not impact the planet, but at the same time are not sure exactly how close it will come.

It could be as close as 20,000 miles or as far as 10 million miles, so it’s a pretty big window,” astronomer Gerald McKeegan said.

I would definitely agree with McKeegan.

That is quite a big window.

Hopefully the experts are correct and it poses no threat to us.  Because just imagine how much damage a 100 foot rock could do if it was dropped from space into a populated area at 34,000 miles an hour.  Here is an excerpt from a different news report about this incoming asteroid

This one, known as 2013 TX68, is larger than an 18-wheel tractor trailer truck, and is expected to fly as close as 19,245 miles to Earth at 4:06 pm Pacific time on Monday, March 7. For comparison, that’s less than one-tenth as far as the moon is from Earth, or 238,900 miles.

It’s gonna be close. But it’s going to miss us. There is nothing to worry about,” said Gerald McKeegan, an astronomer at Chabot Space and Science Center in Oakland.

And of course the truth is that the Earth is being bombarded by objects from space all the time.  Approximately 40 tons of rock and dust hits our planet each day, and the vast majority of it burns up in our atmosphere.

But there are thousands upon thousands of larger objects that do present a significant threat to our civilization, and they are whizzing past us all the time.

In fact, a meteor that nobody saw coming crashed into the Atlantic Ocean back on February 6th.  The following comes from the Daily Mail

A huge fireball crashed into the Atlantic earlier this month – and went almost unseen.

The event took place on February 6 at 14:00 UTC when a meteor exploded in the air 620 miles (1,000km) off the coast of Brazil.

It released energy equivalent to 13,000 tons of TNT, which is the same as the energy used in the first atomic weapon that leveled Hiroshima in 1945.

This was the largest event of its type since the February 2013 fireball that exploded over Chelyabinsk, Russia, leaving more than 1,600 people injured.

And of course nobody saw the very large asteroid that exploded over Chelyabinsk, Russia in 2013.  That giant space rock exploded in the air, destroying hundreds of buildings and injuring about a thousand people.  It has been estimated that it exploded with the force of 500,000 tons of TNT.  In other words, it was many times more powerful than the atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima.

In addition, there was another very significant asteroid that nobody saw coming in advance that barely missed our planet last March.  Here is more from the Daily Mail

Last year, Brian Cox said we are at risk of being wiped out by asteroids – and we’re not taking the threat seriously.

‘There is an asteroid with our name on it and it will hit us,’ Professor Cox told DailyMail.com. In fact, the Earth had a ‘near-miss’ only a few months ago.

‘We didn’t see it,’ says the 46-year-old. ‘We saw it on the way out, but if it had just been a bit further over it would have probably wiped us out. These things happen.’

The bus-sized asteroid, named 2014 EC, came within 38,300 (61,637km) miles of Earth in March – around a sixth of the distance between the moon and our planet.

If 2013 TX68 were to hit us, it would do far, far more damage than the meteor that exploded over Chelyabinsk did.

But NASA is telling us that there is no reason to be concerned.  They promise us that “no large object is likely to strike the Earth any time in the next several hundred years“.  So they assure us that we can all just relax and quit wondering about the thousands of giant space rocks that are hurtling toward us.

Meanwhile, NASA has established a “Planetary Defense Coordination Office” that will be in charge of tracking giant space rocks and is working to develop a way to destroy incoming asteroids using nuclear weapons.

So why is NASA going to so much effort and spending so much tax money on these things if there is no threat?

Could it be possible that they know something that they aren’t telling us?

Or is it what they don’t know that scares them?

Without a doubt, I certainly hope that the scientists are correct and that an asteroid is not going to hit us on March 7th.

But scientists also tell us that it is inevitable that someday there will be a major impact.

When that time comes, will our scientists see the asteroid in advance?

And if they do, will they warn everyone, or will the government want to keep things quiet so not to create panic?

While you would not want to be under it. If it were to hit. Most likely it would be an exploding fireball type. Very similar to the Chelyabinsk meteor. A lot of broken class from both the air pressure wave, and fragments. Some fragments large enough to cause moderate building damage. The largest fragment from the Chelyabinsk meteor, was slightly over 1400 pounds. Thankfully that fragment hit a lake. In a 5 square mile area you would have a bad day. Somewhat further out broken glass from the shockwave. At least it would not be a widespread devastating event.

But a much larger asteroid would likely make directly impact with our planet with catastrophic consequences

      • K

Oh yes. Once you start measuring in miles instead of feet. All the difference in the world.

“Could it be possible that they know something that they aren’t telling us? Or is it what they don’t know that scares them?”

It’s most likely the second one. Just because they’re “scientists” doesn’t really mean they’re some kind of pure authority; it’s just someone who studied a lot of books, notes, papers, occasional experiments, and can make an educated guess.

If they actually discovered a large asteroid heading for us, they should come up with a plan to wreck the debris. In the meantime, why bother panicking the populace without a solution: no boss likes an employee who only brings up problems without a reasonable solution.

    • MichaelfromTheEconomicCollapse

      Very good points

But NASA is telling us that there is no reason to be concerned. They promise us that “no large object is likely to strike the Earth any time in the next several hundred years“. ……How do they know? They didn’t even see the one in Russia! This is BS. Now NASA is lying to the public, plain and simple

Just a thought – it has been reported that the worlds elite, bankers, alphabet soup intelligence agency types are getting ready or making plans to bug out. We all assume its because of the global finace situation or situation in the ME / SCS. What if they know it aint going to miss or it wont be the only one. Just a thought

(CNN)”Did you hear that whistling sound too?”

“Sounds like — you know, outer-space type music.”

    “I wonder what it is.”

This conversation, between Apollo 10 astronauts Eugene Cernan and John Young, as their craft flew around the far side of the moon, remained under wraps for over four decades.

NASA has shown itself that yes it does hide secrets as the above news article states so if a asteroid was to hit the Earth they would not tell you so that it would not panic the people of the world.

When the Asteroid Apophis was first discover the scientist stated that it had a high probability of hitting the Earth and then it went to no probability of hitting the Earth and yet the Russian are still treating it as a threat.

They were saying that it would be close to the Earth on April13 2029 and then 7 years later there was a chance of hitting the Earth.

It is interesting to note that the Bible has a star crashing into the Earth and it is called Apollyon or Abbadon depending what language you used and these mean the same thing as Apophis i.e. destroyer.

This Apophis comes around the time of the Jewish Passover. God told Moses that after the 3 days of darkness occurred to remember yearly when the “Angel of death passed over” when Israel was saved from the Egyptians. In Daniel he was given a series of events worked out in 7 year intervals including one where the Messiah would be killed at the end of a 42 week of years(7 year period) and when Jesus was crucified there was darkness blocking the sunlight for 3 hours and something caused the Earth to also shake.

There is still one week of years to be completed before Jesus returns and this time gap between the death of Jesus and the last 7 years is almost over. The 2000 years gap is called the time of the Gentiles(non Jews) and was given to bring as many people to God as possible before the final 7 years dealing with the Jews would commence. Jesus was crucified and dead for 2 days signifying 2000 years and on the third day He rose signifying the 1000 year rule of Christ in Revelation.

In Daniel it also say that Daniel saw a rock which crashed into a statue which represented the kingdoms of the world and after that the kingdom of God would come out of the rubble.

Yep, but on the parts about ‘stars’ and the destroyer being a planet etc you can look into the many many verses and discover many things better. As example rev 9 and the ‘star’ holds keys in his hands, so a ‘star’ with hands, and is called a ‘he’ so…not a star/sun/planet/asteroid, and this angel with keys releases the fallen principality from the pit-the fallen principality is abbaddon, so also not a ‘star’ in the sense of a physical rock/gas planet/sun. abaddon is called a king in rev 9 and rev 17 shows he is the beast or possesses the man the anti-christ (another separate study) so he’s a fallen principality.
Then research other mentions of ‘stars’ in the bible and see that most often it’s a word used to describe angels, beings that were created by God, some having kept their place with God others having left their places to become what we call fallen angels.

when the destroyer came over egypt it knew to take one but not another..showing it wasn’t a rock/planet/sun/star, but some principality.
Anyway makes for a good study when looked at in more detail.
Also helps explain why some will see a thing and some won’t..if it was always a physical planet then it’d be visible to all whereas if an angel then only those allowed to see would see, using 2nd kings 6:17 as one example.
Also yes ‘wheels of fire’ and chariots of fire and ‘stars’ all go into the study.
Rev 12 and 1/3rd of ‘stars’ cast to the earth…a physical planet/star/sun cannot crash into the earth and the earth survive then the chapter goes on to talk of satans army which shows the ‘stars’ mentioned are again not actual stars but angels who leaving their places became fallen angels then.

the 2 meteors shown in rev 8 are on entry burning rocks or large ice masses (comets appear to be burning)

Also planet x, if it is, seems it’s there then not there, some see it most don’t..so a principality makes sense of it, if it’s something at all anyway.
And fatima as another example, that lying sign-the ‘sun’ (a star/sun/burning planet) seemed as if coming down to earth, others saw a fiery wheel coming down to the earth, then appeared as not a sun or fiery wheel but an apparition and delivered it’s false message.
Anyway looking into it from a biblical perspective unfolds alot of answers to many things going on today, you can also take the study into what might UFO’s and light orbs be, hint, their not some aliens from some distant planet but angels, fallen or not fallen but good ones. You can also add in the historic accounts and writings/paintings/depictions. In the old day’s it was more known they were fallen or not fallen angels but menkind today likes to toss out anything that might bring up God as that might also then reflect on sin and salvation in Christ and judgement for unbelief and etc so today they have their space aliens from distant planets which makes a convenient way for many to continue apart from Christ and bury the conviction of sins.

Actually Daniel’s 42 weeks does not concern the end times. Instead, it concerns the arrival of Jesus where he is killed off in the middle of the final 7 years and the gospel being preached to Jews only marked the last half of the period. It was fulfilled when Stephen preached Christ in the Temple and was stoned to death. The 7 year tribulation period was a lie made up by Francisco Ribero who was a Roman Catholic priest in the 1800’s.

Everlasting righteousness has not occurred as we can see by the state of the world. There is 7 years to go and that can not start until the time of the Holy Spirit putting New Life into mankind has finished(2000years). 2000 years after Jesus was crucified brings us to 2030A.D. Those last 7 years will occur before that and I believe those years are from 13 April 2022 to 13 April 2029 due to the near earth orbits of Apophis which also blocked the sunlight for 3 hours when Jesus was crucified because it was the end of one such cycle.

Daniel 9:24(NIV) 24 “Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.

Jesus is killed after the 62*7=434 years

        Daniel 9:26

After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to
death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will
destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War
will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.

The last 7 years, Jacob’s Troubles has not occurred and is dealing with the Antichrist and the troubles he will bring to Israel.

        Daniel 9:27

He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’
he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will
set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is
decreed is poured out on him.”

        • Jessy Scholl

You are blind. The prophecy deals with Israel and was given to Daniel while Israel was still in captivity in ancient Babylon. The prophecy was set up so that Israel would be the focus along with the Messiah. The last seven “weeks” started with the messiah being baptized by John and then Jesus had his ministry which lasted 3.5 years. At the end of the 3.5 years, Jesus put an end to the sacrifice and offering because he was the perfect offering and the perfect sacrifice. Therefore, Jesus fulfilled Daniel 9:27 while the Roman Catholic Church continues to offer Jesus up for sacrifice though it is not needed. All the church is doing is fulfilling the last sentence of this verse.

As for the gap the RCC has put between Weeks’ 69 and 70. It just doesn’t make any sense. The truth is that the church has formed a covenant with Israel. That covenant took place in the year 2000 when Antichrist Pope John Paul II visited. Last I checked, that covenant was supposed to last 3.5 years from March 2000 to August 2003. I recall nothing of the sort happening that month that put an end to the world or at least Israel.

Finally the gap makes no sense in the real world. Suppose you had a car payment and you decided to pay faithfully every month every month for 5 years for a total of 60 payments. However, you decree that there would be a gap of 5 years between payment 59 and 60. The bank and car dealership would both call you crazy and you would be sent to the funny farm. That is where “Father” Francisco Ribero deserves to be for putting a gap between Weeks 69 and 70 of Daniel’s Prophecy. And that is where the church, at least those members that believe the lie, deserve to be as well. However, God’s version of the funny farm is Hell where the end times believer of the 7 years of tribulation will enjoy asking for a simple drop of water when there is none and doing so forever.

          • Mart1963

The time gap occurred because Israel rejected Jesus so salvation went to the non Jews. Till the full number of non Jews came in to salvation.

Romans 11:11-1211 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!
