10 Really Stupid Things The Mainstream Media Has Said About The Bilderberg Group In 2011

This weekend, dozens upon dozens of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the world will be gathering behind closed doors at a luxury hotel in Switzerland.  All of the participants are sworn to secrecy and swarms of heavily armed security guards are making sure that nobody unauthorized gets in.  Decisions will be made at this meeting which will fundamentally change our future.  The CEO of Amazon.com will be there, as will the head of Google, one of the co-founders of Facebook and one of the top executives from Microsoft.  The president of the EU will be in attendance, along with the president of the World Bank, the president of the European Central Bank, the head of the World Trade Organization and the top commander of NATO.  Henry Kissinger and David Rockefeller will be there.  Royalty from all over Europe will be attending as well.  Past attendees have included several U.S. presidents, Ben Bernanke, Timothy Geithner, Prince Charles, current British Prime Minister David Cameron, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Hillary Clinton, Bill Gates and current Texas governor Rick Perry.  You would think that these meetings would be something that the mainstream media would want to cover.  But unfortunately, the mainstream media mostly ignores the Bilderberg Group meetings, and if they do cover them they just crack a bunch of jokes about “conspiracy theories” and they do their best to play down the importance of the meetings.

Under normal circumstances, a gathering of top executives from Google, Facebook and Microsoft would have the media salivating.  So would a gathering of some of the most important international politicians on the globe.

So why doesn’t the mainstream media want to talk about the Bilderberg Group?

From June 9th to June 12th, over a hundred of the most powerful people on the planet will meet in utter secrecy and will discuss the future of the world.

All of the participants have been sworn not to reveal what is discussed.

Yet this doesn’t interest the mainstream media at all?

Every year since 1954, the Bilderberg Group has been holding these meetings.  For years, even the existence of this group was denied.  On U.S. talk shows anyone that dared to suggest that the Bilderberg Group existed was mocked as a “conspiracy theorist”.

Well, in recent years the alternative news has brought so much attention to the Bilderberg Group that everyone finally admits that, yes, the Bilderberg Group really does exist.

But now the mainstream media does everything they can to downplay the importance of the organization.

They suggest that anyone that believes that there is anything wrong with dozens of the most powerful people on the planet meeting in utter secrecy to discuss the future course of world events is “crazy”.

If the Bilderberg Group is so unimportant, then why would people like Bill Clinton, Prince Charles, David Cameron, Tony Blair, Henry Kissinger, Bill Gates, Angela Merkel, Ben Bernanke, Tim Geithner, Rick Perry, David Rockefeller, Herman van Rompuy, Jean-Claude Trichet, Jeff Bezos, Chris R. Hughes, Eric Schmidt, Craig J. Mundie, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Richard Perle, Paul Volcker, Lawrence Summers, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden take the time to attend?

A full list of the “official attendees” of the Bilderberg Group in 2011 can be found here.

However, the truth is that the “unofficial attendees” are often even more interesting.

But the mainstream media acts like all of this is no big deal.

If they do decide to talk about the Bilderberg Group, they tend to crack jokes and make fun of “conspiracy theorists”.

The following are 10 really stupid things that the mainstream media has said about the Bilderberg Group in 2011….

#1 CNBC: The 120 participants attend in a private capacity and, officially, they do not forge agreements over global economic policy.

#2 BBC News: The gnashing of teeth over Bilderberg is ridiculous, says Times columnist David Aaronovitch. “It’s really an occasional supper club for the rich and powerful,” he argues.

#3 Time Magazine: A vestige of the Cold War, the only drawback of the meeting could be that the Chinese and the Russians are still missing.

#4 Forbes: Admittedly, it’s fascinating that some secret society, like the Wizard of Oz, choreographs events on a global stage. Puppet masters of the public’s fate. Conspiracy theories punctuate the otherwise mundane din of modern life, but riveting as it all appears, I’m not buying it. Would they? Absolutely. Could they? Implausible.

#5 Fox News: But the secretive nature of the meetings, that first began in 1954, has sparked countless conspiracy theories by those who believe the group is trying to form a new world order of sorts.

#6 CNBC: Its secrecy only serves to add fuel to the innumerate conspiracy theories that circulate around the event, with Internet message boards often channelling Da Vinci Code author Dan Brown and putting the “club” in the same bracket as the Freemasons and “Illuminati.”

#7 BBC News: Secret cabals extend beyond the Bilderberg Group. The Illuminati, which derives from a 16th Century Bavarian secret society, is alleged to be an all powerful secret society, including US presidents, that has controlled major world events. The Freemasons – famous for their peculiar handshakes – is a secret fraternity society that has become more open in recent years after extensive criticism.

#8 The Baltimore Sun: I suppose the Bilderberg Group, which was founded in 1954 at the Hotel Bilderberg in Holland, can supply us with a few thrills while we wait for Dan Brown to knock out another book. But a hotel in St. Moritz — especially one that features Teddy’s World for kids — doesn’t seem like the place to plot world domination. Shouldn’t they be meeting in a secret underground lair?

#9 NBC Affiliate KETK: If you believe Mafia hitmen hired by Castro killed JFK, or President Clinton was involved in murder, or George W. Bush planned 9-11…then this story is for you. That’s because the real Masters of the Universe are gathered in St. Moritz to decide your future. It’s called the Bilderberg conference, and it means more to European reporters than anyone here.

#10 BBC News: Some people are more susceptible than others to believing in wacky cabals, says Prof Chris French, of Goldsmith College’s psychology department. “It’s people who tend to be alienated by the mainstream, who feel powerless. They have a need to have a sense of control.”

Look, the truth is that dozens of the most powerful people on the planet are not meeting in utter secrecy just to play poker and smoke cigars.

They are having very real discussions that will have a very real influence on the direction of world events.

If that doesn’t fit in with how you prefer to view the world, that is too bad.  The ultra-elite are going to keep on doing what they are doing whether you acknowledge them or not.

In fact, they would very much prefer for most people to keep on ignoring them because that makes it so much easier for them to achieve their goals.

Sadly, most Americans will completely ignore the Bilderberg Group in 2011 because the mainstream media is telling them that it is not an important event.

So what do all of you think about the Bilderberg Group?  Please feel free to leave a comment with your thoughts below….

  • Virgnia

They’re the reason we are in the mess we are in today!

    • Just another mom

Not really. Satan is the reason we are in this mess. These people are just his tools.

  • Mychal

    they are evil

  • Jonathan

It is a sign of hope to me that more and more people are becoming aware of how the world is actually run. The Bilderbergers are one third of what I think of as the evil trinity – the Bilderberg Group, the Council on Foreign Relations (aka CFR), and the Trilateral Commission. Many of the same people participate in each of these organizations and if you do a bit of research into this subject and then look back at world history, there is little doubt that none of what has happened is coincidence. Rather it pieces together nicely as an elaborate scheme to weaken the economies and hope of people in every country on our planet. It is no surprise that the mainstream media does not cover events related to any of these organizations because these elitists own the corporate media. Real news can only be found on websites such as this one and others that are dedicated to the telling the truth. Sadly many people refuse to believe that they are being led down a path of destruction by these same people. To put an end the deception, we must continue to put the truth out there for people to find and contemplate. In time, it is likely that the majority will see through the charade purported by the corporate media and take action to restore our liberty and freedom. Keep up the good work.

  • Paula

I always suspected this type of thing was going on behind closed doors. Sure don’t hear much about it on the tv, radio or newspapers!!

  • Sebastian

So basically you don’t have anything substantial to contribute about them either and thus are promoting even more conspiracy theories.
    Confirmation bias, anyone?
But this seems to be perfectly in line with most of what’s said here.

  • Prohor

    Virgnia, you’re right absolutely!

  • X

It’s only reasonable to think that when the most powerful people in the world come together, they will think of something to become even more powerful.

  • Mal

Stupid is Stupid does. Remember you can’t fix stupid!

  • A Dodgy Bloke

Time is wrong if you look at the list of attendees there is a Chinese Delegation. I’m of two minds about this if look at the world it massive and complex with a lot of moving parts. You would think trying to control something with this amount of complexity would be an exercise in futility. That said it doesn’t mean the Rich the Arrogant, and the powerful wont try. History teaches the higher up you are the easier it is to be deluded into thinking you’re far more powerful than you really are. Remember the Devine right of Kings God Loved the King more than he loved you, many Kings absolutely believed it.

  • SmokyMtnLady

If they have nothing to hide…why all the secrecy??

  • Not falling for the MSM rubbish.

If they are so innocuous and benign, then why is is a secret meeting?

  • Question and Analyze Everything

This shows you how the MSM is only a TOOL of the Bilderbergs……

    • lone survivor

They control all the newspapers and all TV stations, that’w why there is no reporting on this “New World Order” group!
One of their goals is to ban the USA Constitution and the USA “Bill of Rights”!
Jesse Ventura did a TV show about this group.

  • Geithner the Sheister

I want to know what their diabolical plans are.

  • Nathan

Thank you American Dream for reporting on this and helping bring these criminals to light. Excellent article, keep up the good work.

  • Prisoner #6

You said it yourself…if they’re just chatting, like they “just chat” at Davos, World Economic Forum, etc…so then why in the world are the PATHETIC COWARDS, the BUTT KISSERS at the Mainstream Media NOT covering the Bilderberg syndicate like they do all the other cigar talks?

  • JACK

“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain”

  • I don’t see how people can ignore what is happening right now, look at the world you live in and all things happening around you. Then add the world’s elite gathering in one place under heavy security, yeah they’re really getting together to just hang out. Most of you probably don’t that Italian member of the EU Parliament, Mario Borghezio was just beaten the other night trying to attend the invite only event. Or that major Swiss diplomats fought for this event to not happen in their country and the group basically said tough luck. That didn’t sit well with those Swiss diplomats, so they have issued an arrest warrant for Henry Kissinger, on the grounds of war crimes. Do you know just the fact that Robert Gates – Serving US Secretary of Defense being there is a violation of the Logan act; which prevents US officials from meeting in secret with foreign officials without the expressed consent of congress. Do the research people and think for yourselves. Don’t believe everything the controlled mass media tells you.

  • mondobeyondo

If the Bilderberger Group were so unimportant to the mainstream media, why is there such a large security presence? It’s not like they are terrorists or something… right? You’d think the Queen of England was in town. And perhaps she is. (wink!!)

And why isn’t Scott Pelley (CBS Evening Blues) and Brian Williams (NBC Nightly Blues) reporting it? Oh, I forgot. The corporate media is owned by the elite. To report on what the Bilderbergers are doing, would essentially be cutting your own throat. Of COURSE they won’t say a word.

    • mondobeyondo

Expect a lot of good music to come in the next couple of years or so. As they say, you can’t sing or play the blues unless you’ve lived them yourself, and a lot of people are living them now.

“Nobody knows you when you’re down and out….”

  • Marcusindallas

The Annual Bilderberg meeting will disband, after this year, in response to the growing media scrutiny of their gatherings. A newly named annual conference, with similar attendees and steering committees, will be held alternately at Bohemian Grove and it’s Sister site in the German country side.

  • The ones in the elite doesn´t exist without a reason. We humans are not even close to be called holy! We all play our part in this world, in the end… everything boils down to how much Respect and Love we have as individuals towards other people, animals and so on. What goes around comes around!!! I strongly recommend Jesus Christ for you reader… if you are a human that is!

  • Marilynn

That the Bilderberg group is up to no damn good is a given. What I wonder is how such a large and diverse group can actually come to a consensus on anything in such a relatively short time. My guess is that most of them are there to report to their masters and receive further instructions from them.

  • Anonymous

Thank you for continuing your writings on all this.

  • Andre

Good one. More stupid things on the way.

  • Joe Johnson

I’m just pissed, once again, that I’m to damned stupid to get an invite. After all these are the best and brightest, or at least smart enough to garner a nice chunk of wealth. Aren’t folks like Bono and Sharron stone in attendance also, or is that a differrent secret meeting. I can’t keep it all straight in my head. But, if these hoolywood types are in attendance, it’s hard to imagine they’re in on tghe whole world domination thing. Seems Bono only wants to help the disadvantaged in Africa..or somewhere. TRuth be told all you can realy do is try and control your own life as much as possible, not letting others decide your fate by proxy. Realize of course that your standing, and power to change anything, in this world is almost entirely determined by your positioning on the global economic ladder.

  • Just cleaned my toilet and had a vision of them getting washed away with the flush. How convenient that they’ve all gathered together, so we can collectively visualize our world being rid of them in one speedy, tidy swoosh! Came downstairs and found this video, which was also perfect: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zR2GiaABXLg

  • Victoria, I feel that it’s more that WE are the reason we’re in the mess we’re in today because of our own lack of interest in these psychopaths’ actions. Its time to sit up and take notice and shut off Everyone Loves Raymond, Hockey and Dancing with the Stars.

  • A.S.

Duh, it is a no-brainer. The media is not a free media anymore. It is corporate owned and by them. Whatever the media tells you, is most often 100% lies. Take vaccines: lies–it will kill you. The body scanners don’t take nude pics and are harmless: lies–go on youtube and you tell me what the pics look like; as for harmless, ask de-licensed physicians who have nothing to lose. Congress knows what is best for you: lies–only Ron Paul knows what is best for you, but he will let you decide, because that is what the constitution allows. And many many more. And now this: the Bilderbergs are the most evil human beings on the face of the earth. I don’t care how much money any one of them donates, just look at their “secret deeds.” If they were not “up to no good,” then why the secrecy? Invite at least one media person to the “game of cards.” Seeing how there is not a single “poor working shmuck” attending their meeting, the must 100% be up to no good, and even breaking international law, subverting the supremacy of the U.S., and making treaties with foreign entities. Game Over, we know who you are and you will be financially ruined.

  • mondobeyondo

Since much of the mainstream media is owned by corporations run by the Bilderbergers, you’re never going to hear anything bad about them. If you even hear anything at all!

now who can contest the existence of clandestine organisations?

  • michael federico

Bildebergs take all things that have to do with Global power and influence very seriously.

They go to immense efforts to protect their own. They are are the same page with Codex Alimentarius when it comes to controlling all precious resources. That means the concept that world population must be reduced is very real an Bildebergs have made a commitment to see this through via famine, plages, and total control of the food and water supplies. These folks are not dumb! Since most countries cannot control their rapidly overpopulating culture, it will be done for them!

  • J2201987

I had always believed that anything outside of MSM was absolute nonsense, and full of lies and propaganda. Until six months ago when I contemplated that perhaps the MSM ITSELF was full of lies and propaganda. An overwhelming, yet compelling awakening I received.

As far as these secret meetings/societies among the wealthy, I think we just have to face the fact that they’ll remain just that: a secret. Until one of these people have enough b*lls to blow the whistle of whatever may be going on, there’s no use in fighting an evil we can’t “see.” Rather we continue to fight the evils we CAN see, and if these visible evils are perpetrated by the “shadow” government/banksters/elite, their plans will ultimately unravel.

  • Hognutz

The “elites” are constructing their latest social meme……….things are not going as well for them as they had hoped thanks to the truth telling of the internet. Blogs that tell the truth such as this one are waking people up.

Thanx for your blog Michael, if it wakes the sheeple, Good Job!!!

  • SiliconJon

Well, I don’t understand why you would want me to question the MSM’s appeal to popularity, for if it’s popular in the MSM and common folk it must be true. Or their appeal to ridicule, for surely if I were to think so many with such power could possibly effect my life I must be locked up (padded room or concrete cell). And obviously I’m guilty by association with any who agree, being of no difference from ALL those who dare protest these “think tank”, even if we could find complete contrast amongst those persons on every topic they cover.

Obviously the Straw Man needs a heart as I would be more likely to believe myself to be in the very Land of Oz than think such secret discussions and collisions of people whose net power obscure anything short of the entire voting population would be irrelevant, unimportant, or mundane.

  • Cracked

I tend to agree with Forbes on this. Would they? Absolutely. Could they? Implausible.

The underlying claim behind both is that these groups of wealthy men have been working to create the infamous One-World Government that you’ll see pop up in most of these conspiracy theories. They want a totalitarian regime that will enslave all of mankind, all at once.

Of course these guys have had decades to establish their plan, but instead they apparently opted for plan B, One-World Clusterfuck. Europe hates America; the Middle East is more fucked than a German whore on coupon day; all China cares about is exporting delicious lead paint; and North Korea is still run by that crazy fucker with the big granny glasses. It’s almost as if the result of their “one-world government” conspiracy looks exactly like the random chaos of geopolitical events we’ve seen for the last few thousand years.

Don’t get me wrong; I suspect this group would like to rule the world (so would I, in fact). But in the grand scheme of political and economic power worldwide, a few hundred important guys basically amount to a fart at a Motorhead concert. It’s too much to assume that even within the groups that there is agreement about what the Master Plan should look like, since they’re made up of people from different countries, political parties and competing corporations.

But what conspiracy buffs are doing is taking any world event and retroactively declaring it to all be part of the Secret Plan. Economy booming? Of course, that’s part of the secret plan to make the corporations control all wealth. Economy collapsing? Of course, that’s part of the secret plan to destroy capitalism.

If it rains, it’s because the Trilateralists want a flood. If it doesn’t, it’s because they want drought. And both are held up as proof after the fact, so as far as they’re concerned, they’ve got proof out the ass.

  • Tom Davis

The simple answer is to isolate those who attend from making political decisions. If they are powerful owners of businesses don’t do business with them. Its time to take back power from those who abuse it. Like from Husain,Ladin,Kadafi, and the rest. See we have learned a lesson the last couple years.

  • Colin

I think the Bilderberg Group is an echo chamber.

  • Given that the same people who attend these events also control the major world news reporting agencies – the Associated Press and Reuters, and all the major TV and print publications, it’s not hard to see why they would say these things.

If they were reporting the REAL NEWS, the things they say would appear ‘stupid’.

Instead, they work to make people who object to the Bilderberg meetings as being ‘stupid conspiracy theorists’.

Get financial education to beat that at their own game. The Elevation Group

  • Hognutz

why is my comment still awaiting moderation?

  • Chris

Instead of refering to CBS/NBC/ABC/FOX/etc. as “mainstream media” they should be referred to as the “propaganda machine”

  • Korpinmusta

Let me lay my cards on the table and say that I don’t claim that EVERYTHING is manipulated to suit some agenda – I’m fundamentally quite a skeptical person. But unlike most people running around CALLING themselves skeptics, my skepticism extends to what’s published in the corporate media.

And I have rarely encountered a conspiracy theory that was so hard to swallow as the idea that there are no conspiracies.

  • JFK

The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know.

  • Alfred E. Neuman

The globalists have de facto already ended the independence of all Western nations and they maintain the fiction of separate national identities only to keep the masses in a continued state of stupor until they are ready to bring their existence out into the open. The universal, seemingly IDENTICAL immigration policies being implemented in ALL Western nations is designed to remove the ethnic basis of the nation state, and things like the World Bank, WTO and IMF are designed to curtail their financial and economic independence.

The US military are for the present the chief enforcers for the Bilderberg/CFR/Trilateral cabal, and they are tasked with being the ultimate check on the political independence of states subject to the globalist system.

Rank and file US military personnel are now recruited among a degraded population immersed in drugs, violence, poverty and filth and are trained (as one would train a dog)using Pavlovian techniques to unquestioningly obey orders, as long as those giving the orders are wrapped in the American flag. Child psychology and its attendant need to believe in a good and powerful parental figure prevails among much of the human material from which the US military draws its rank and file, when they are not joining up simply to escape government generated poverty, that is.

The European Union exists as the local branch of the cabal to suppress the independence of all European states. It can ultimately count on US bayonets for support if the population of any country revolts in a nationalist/patriotic or populist revolution, particularly if any reassertion of cultural and ethnic identity is involved. If there is a resurgence in France, for example, and a backlash against African colonization of its ancient cathedral cities, it is entirely possible that the US military will be committed AGAINST the French people, and ON THE SIDE of the mostly Muslim colonists, just as the US supported al Qaeda in Bosnia and is supporting al Qaeda in Libya against Ghaddafi. The indigenous Europeans resisting ethnic displacement and foreign colonization will be painted as Nazis by American propaganda, which the US populace will largely believe — even as US society becomes increasingly diverse, poor, crime-ridden and non-western before their very eyes.

THE US MILITARY will fight any resurgent European country ENTHUSIASTICALLY, for its mostly white “spearhead” has long ago been deracinated by acceptance of the American ideology of “propositionalism,” which differs only semantically from Soviet Patriotism (which fought against ethnic nationalisms and called the USSR an “unshakable union of fraternal peoples”).

Why focus on official American ideology? Because American Propositionalism is the model for the ideology of the coming world state preached (behind closed doors) by David Rockefeller.

    • Guido

Uh, have you served in the military? Because I did and I don’t think you really know what you’re talking about. The Army, my service, has a wide variety of people in it from all walks of life, including some of the most ignorant people I ever met, but they are not trained to be obedient robots. (I also met some of the smartest, most intelligent people in the Army.)

The military, even the Army, actually trains soldiers to think about what they’re doing. You are trained in the first week or two of basic to know what orders are legal and what orders aren’t and to challenge illegal orders because, as we all learned at Nuremburg, following orders is not a valid defense. I remember learning, among other things, about Lt. Calley’s massacre at My Lai.

Even the most ignorant soldiers I worked with weren’t automatons. Meet some soldiers and see if they’re the robots you make them out to be. And I don’t think it’s right to criticize them based on their background. The great thing, to me, about the military is it gives everyone a chance to be the best they can be, regardless of background. You can join and see how far you can go-they offer everything from astronaut training to… find me a weapon that starts with z.

As for the EU, I don’t like it and I hope it falls apart under the weight of its own contradictions, but I don’t think it is a real threat to anything. I think the EU is the result of two cataclysmic wars in 50 years that helped sap and kill the nationalism and will of the Europeans to strive as individual nations for their place in the sun. As a continent of largely moderate to mediocre economies, it makes sense, or it used to, to them to pull together.

And where are you getting this propositionalism thing from? The philosophical concept as I understand it has nothing to do with Soviet patriotism. (I would point out that Soviet patriotism was really Russian patriotism and the Russians ALWAYS looked down on the other nationalities, especially the Asians.)

      • Alfred E. Neuman

Guido, I would NEVER join the US military, but I respect the vocation and historical heritage of soldiering. I wish there was an army I COULD have joined when I was of age. Still, I have been around US military people all my life, including many members of my own immediate family.

My experience has been that the old timers from WW II and Korea, and the Vietnam vets as well, were of a different and yes, higher-type of humanity than the current crop of “recruits.” That’s because these older generations were raised in a country that did not deliberately dumb-down its citizenry and culturally degrade them. That country also had conscription, which tended to ensure that more of a cross-section of society (except for the types like Dick “Five-Deferments” Cheney) were represented in the armed forces. Note that I am NOT calling for a draft today, merely pointing out a historical fact.

The current rank-and-file of the US military is weighted toward those who come from the gutted wastelands of the inner-city, the desolate abandoned industrial towns of the rust-belt and the trailer-park set of the West and South, who see the military either as a jobs program or an opportunity to engage in psychopathic behavior with impunity. These volunteers ere “processed” in public babysitting institutions known as “high schools” to conform and to never question the basic paradigms of the system. They (like most of these last couple of generations, to which they belong) lack the basic understanding of the form of government of the American Republic, its history, and the Western heritage of law, government and philosophy from which the US originated. The current generation has no ACADEMIC understanding of their own rights, so why should we expect them to respect ours?

As for the US military in general, its personnel are, historically, indoctrinated to automatically believe they are defending “freedom,” which they tend to view as a philosophical abstract rather than something to actually PRACTICE. To the extent that the older generations may have had doubts about this, it was only because they were indeed more accusto4med to actually THINKING.

There are many examples in history to back this up. I’ll give you just two: The US Army of the 1930’s gladly shot down their own former comrades of World War I in the Bonus March on Washington DC, which was staged to collect a premium that the government COMMITTED itself to pay them in 1917 (it was never paid). Second, the US Military — which as the self-described “defenders” of freedom should have KNOWN BETTER — obeyed orders to embark upon a war that was patently fabricated. I postulate that this is because of their degraded education, and their inability to draw on examples from the past and make COMPARISONS to their current situation (e.g, to see the parallels between the “Gleiwitz Incident of 1939 — Hitler’s staged pretext for the attack on Poland — and the assignation of blame for 9/11 onto Iraq).

While on the subject of past wars, let me point out that European armies generally required that their officers be “gentlemen.” This means educated, well-rounded, versatile persons of QUALITY, equipped with the intangible wherewithal to make even the most difficult decisions, in ANY and all situations. Hence, the German officer caste was able to produce a Count von Stauffenberg (I trust you recognize the name), a man whose ETHICS and EDUCATION convinced him of what had to be done and the COURAGE to do it. The US military will NEVER produce a Stauffenberg, but it has produced a Stanley McCrystal, who can wolf down Big Macs and hurl profanity at table like any ghetto rapper.

As for the comparison of US propositionalism to Soviet patriotism, I stand by my contention. Guido, you prove that you do not know what you are talking about when you discuss Soviet history. Expressions of “Russian patriotism” were proscribed for most of the USSR’s existence and derided in official propaganda as “Great Russian Chauvinism.” Its expression was as severely punished by the authorities as Ukrainian or Latvian nationalism.

Lenin himself (only 1/4 Russian) HATED Russia with a passion and under his and the Georgian Stalin’s tenure, monuments to past Russian glories, were demolished en masse. Russian works of art were destroyed or sold off abroad because of their nationalist content. Both Lenin and Stalin routinely and disproportionately employed NON-Russians in positions of authority, especially in the Red Army, the Cheka/GPU/NKVD and the GULAG system of camps.

Lazar Moiseyevich Kaganovich, the Jewish Party Boss of Moscow, personally supervised the demolition of Russian NATIONAL monuments in Moscow, the most important one being the Cathedral of Jesus Christ the Redeemer in 1935, which was built with contributions of the entire Russian people to commemorate the Victory over Napoleon in 1812. They made surviving members of the Russian minor nobility and artists and intellectuals who were prominent in the old regime clear up the rubble by hand.

Read the words of the old Soviet Anthem and tell me if it’s lyrics are not eerily similar in sentiment and content to our current American fixation on “diversity.” In fact, until 1944, the USSR anthem was not even a “Russian” song at all — it was “The Internationale,” sung by Communist parties worldwide. Like today’s America, the USSR was “diverse” (ethnic Russians made up about only about 2/3 of the population in the USSR’s final decade.

        Were you in the military?

        • Alfred E. Neuman

Oops! I just reread your post, and yes, you were indeed in the military. Cheers!

  • Gary

This is so simple even the dumbest right wingers can understand. Robert Reich explains why we need to TAX THE RICH HARD AND SPREAD THE WEALTH NOW!

    • Guido

Sadly Gary, so far you have never explained how this would change anything or even how it would be done. Since the fedgov has been fleecing us for years with absolutely nothing useful to show for it, I fail to see how raising taxes would change anything.

Do the math-they could tax every dollar in existence and still not cover our liabilities. They would need more than 3 times what exists to cover it. You could count all the zeros behind the amount we owe and die before you finished.

Besides, when has government shown it could be fiscally responsible? They would see any money they did snare as carte blanche to go on an even bigger, crazier spending spree. It won’t work. You don’t need a crystal ball-just a random sampling of news papers from past years.

what about weiner today having to resign?? Totaly wrecked his family and job. What a moron.

Funny thing is that at the start of JUNE these FFT guys over at http://forecastfortomorrow.com forecast he was going to quit and resign and told everyone to look for that to happen. and now it has happend, WOW look at their free forecast here http://forecastfortomorrow.com/files/Anthony-Weiner.pdf totally amazing!!

They also called the stockmarket crash back in 2008 so I follow them closely. Spot on, so that why I follow them.

  • I am not really sure what to believe about the Bilderberg group. For all I know it could be some elite club for super duper wealthy powerful people. Yes, anything these guys can do can affect change I would say.

I do believe this meeting has taken place regarding our financial status and how it is affecting the world.

  • It’s amazing that these meetings aren’t even covered by the news stations. The richest, most powerful people in the world all meet together and that’s not newsworthy? That’s not worth having a reporter at the scene?

They make people who cover the meetings out to be conspiracy theorists. It’s not theory! It’s a fact!

  • Sharky

The bankers probably ***************** each other up in the shower and ******************* each other while laughing at us slaves.

  • @ mohsen So sit back, relax, flip on the tele, dancing with the stars is on, eh mohsen? Sorry, friend, sit and stare at it all you want, but the trash doesn’t take itself out. Notice that in the course of history, the world has been run by the very same characters and nothing changes? Yes, having said that most of the world will suffer, but what are YOU going to do about it besides armchair analyse?

  • Travis Gott

What are they going to complain about next? I am sure people know about various craft sightings that I am so-called armchair analysing while the people who do know continue to crap their in their panties or shorts about events the earth has little to no control about plans about the earth! While this is going on they still have the attitude they are riding these issues and causing problems, but surprise surprise, when the ride is over and reality again continues to arrive at the earth!

  • Robert

Hey,if you are content to let the elite run the world while you sit home sucking down beer and your most important issue is some mind numbing sports story then it won’t matter because you don’t take control of your life and just wait for the next kick in the butt by those who are more than willing to use you as work or cannon fodder. Meanwhile those of us who think this matters will step over your useless existence to try to remain in control of our liberties even at the risk of our own substance and, if necessary, lives.

  • Dude

So, like, for real guys. What is bolderburg? Better yet what is G20? Who runs monsanto? What is the north American union? Ah hell, man, I’m just gonna take a nap. Might gonna watch some cartoons later, wanna be able ta focus. Merica!

  • Jaded and Cynical

For years, “they” denied the existence of the group. Now they admit it but claim it is not important. They are the shepherds, we are the sheep, they intend to slaughter us. “Sigh” I guess if you can’t beat them, join them. They are the powerful super rich leaders in all fields. Baaaa

  • Jaded and Cynical

The new world order is already in power.

  • Debbie Vaughn

They are being used to fulfill end time Prophecy!!

  • Peter

Ok. So, even if we knew EVERYTHING about this group, what could we POSSIBLY do to change anything about what they are doing? They aren’t doing anything illegal. So, why loose sleep over something we have 0 (zero) influence over?

  • harold melton

When you have college students who does not know how many stars on the flag, or as one very attractive women asked, is Florida near Miami? Americans are very much uninformed of the many world organizations that control the many events that affect the USA. Only very few Americans young and old have ever heard of The Bilderberg group, CFR, TLC, NWO, Skull & Bones and the NAU. While America is involved in helping foreign rebels in destroying dictators, America is moving to a two class system. Sadly most Republicans and a few Democrats will make this happen soon. However, the biggest know threat is China, who I predict will destroy the USA economically in less than ten years. Greed and racism will be America’s downfall.

  • I agree with David’s comment. A lot of sneaky meetings behind closed doors and our future is in the hands of these people!
