Mitt Romney To Enter The Race? The Establishment’s Secret Plan B To Steal The Nomination From Trump

Mitt Romney - Photo by Mark TaylorIs Mitt Romney about to enter the race for the Republican nomination?  As I have written about repeatedly, the Republican establishment is absolutely desperate to keep Donald Trump out of the White House.  If it comes to it, they will move heaven and earth to make sure that he is defeated – even if that means Hillary Clinton wins the election.  Right now, Trump has won three of the first four contests on the schedule, and he is projected to win almost every state on Super Tuesday.  This would put him on a clear path toward winning the nomination, and so establishment insiders are in full-blown panic mode.  At this point, two different plans are being put forward for how to proceed if Trump continues to roll.  One is to have Marco Rubio exit the race so that Mitt Romney can run against Trump, and the other is to run a third party candidate against Trump and Clinton in the fall. Never before had there been so much interest in a debate this early in an election season, and it turned out to be the most watched program on Fox News ever. A record-shattering 24 million Americans tuned in, and what they witnessed was an expertly orchestrated assault on Donald Trump. From the very first moments, every question that was launched at Trump was an “attack question”. And then the laughable “focus group” that followed was specifically designed to show that “ordinary people” were “changing their minds” about Trump. Is The Tea Party Dead?

Tea Party R.I.P.Do you remember when the pundits were talking about how the Tea Party movement was going to transform American politics?  Do you remember when establishment Republicans in Congress were scared to death of having Tea Party challengers come after their seats?  Well, those days are over.  In primary after primary in 2014, it has become abundantly clear that the establishment is in full control of the Republican Party once again.  And recent polling data also supports the theory that the Tea Party movement is losing steam.  Back in 2010, 31 percent of all Americans supported the Tea Party.  Today, an all-time low 15 percent of all Americans do.  So is the Tea Party dead?  Perhaps not yet, but without a doubt it is on the ropes.
