Election day 2012 showed once again that America is moving steadily to the left. Yes, Barack Obama defeated Mitt Romney, but the underlying dynamics run much deeper than that – especially when you take a look at social issues. Older voters are more conservative when it comes to social issues, but they are slowly dying off and being replaced by younger voters that tend to be much more liberal. So on a whole host of controversial social issues including gay marriage, abortion, immigration and drug legalization we are seeing a dramatic shift take place. The American people as a whole are rejecting traditional values and are embracing a more “progressive” view of morality that is being promoted by our education system, the entertainment industry and the federal government. Those that want to cling to the morality of the past are being told that they “are on the wrong side of history” and that they need to come into the 21st century. On election night I spent a lot of time watching CNN, and even their “conservative pundits” were trashing those that still believe in traditional values. Sadly, it is likely that those that believe in traditional values are going to have a harder and harder time trying to win national elections. It is much easier to get people to change their minds about economic issues or foreign policy issues than it is about fundamental questions of right and wrong. The demographic tidal wave that is pushing America to the left is not going to stop, and it would literally take a miracle to see this country start to move back in the direction of traditional values. U.S. Border Patrol Agents Are Being Trained To Run Away And Hide If Someone Starts Shooting
U.S. border patrol agents have incredibly dangerous jobs and they are the first line of defense for our homeland. But instead of training and equipping them properly to defend themselves and all the rest of us, the Obama administration is actually attempting to turn them into spineless jellyfish. If you can believe it, U.S. border patrol agents are now actually being trained to run away and hide if they encounter an “active shooter” in a public location. If they are cornered by the shooter, they are being trained to “throw things” at the shooter. What in the world is happening to this country? We might as well not even have borders. The Obama administration has made it abundantly clear that it has absolutely no intention of protecting our borders or of enforcing our immigration laws. Protecting our borders is one thing that the U.S. Constitution requires the president to do, but Barack Obama and several other past presidents have steadfastly refused to do this. Barack Obama Cannot Get Congress To Pass Amnesty For Illegal Immigrants So Now He Is Just Going To Ram It Down Our Throats Any Way That He Can
If you are an illegal immigrant and you have not been arrested for committing a crime, the odds that you will ever be deported have now gone way, way down. With the Republicans in control of the House of Representatives, Barack Obama knows that he simply is not going to be able to get amnesty for illegal immigrants passed by Congress. But instead of giving up, Obama has decided to ram amnesty for illegal immigrants down our throats any way that he can. The head of the Department of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, has announced that there will now be a case-by-case review of all deportation cases involving illegal immigrants. Those involving “criminals” will be prioritized and almost all the rest will be thrown out. In essence, this is “backdoor amnesty” for illegal immigrants and it also represents a stunning admission by the Obama administration that it is simply going to refuse to enforce our immigration laws.
