Throughout human history, our God-given liberties and freedoms have often been brutally crushed by oppressive governments, and that is still happening all over the world today.  But in our time, an additional threat to our liberties and freedoms has emerged.  Global corporations just continue to get larger and more powerful, and in recent years they have been increasingly using that power to shape society.  This is a very dangerous trend, because in the western world many of the constraints that our national governments are forced to operate under simply do not apply to corporations.  This gives them an enormous amount of leverage, and they are using it. 64 Percent Of News Reporters Believe That Obama Is Spying On Them

Spying - Photo by Pascal KirchmairIs it okay for Barack Obama to spy on reporters?  Is it okay for government spooks to record their calls, monitor their online activity and collect their emails whenever they want?  Well, according to a shocking new poll conducted by Pew Research, 64 percent of investigative journalists believe that the government is already collecting data from them right now.  Sadly, very few of them are publicly voicing objections.  We are rapidly becoming the type of “Big Brother” society that George Orwell once wrote about, and most Americans are just going along for the ride.  One journalist that is making waves is former CBS News reporter Sharyl Attkisson.  In her new book entitled Stonewalled: My Fight for Truth Against the Forces of Obstruction, Intimidation, and Harassment in Obama’s Washington, she claims that she has evidence that the government remotely activated her computer numerous times, monitored her keystrokes and even buried incriminating documents very deeply on her hard drive.  She has filed a lawsuit, and hopefully this will result in the public shaming of those involved in this spying.  With each passing day, we are becoming a little bit more like Nazi Germany, and if we continue down this road America will eventually be completely transformed into a totalitarian hellhole. The U.S. Government Is Monitoring All Phone Calls, All Emails And All Internet ActivityBig Brother is watching everything that you do on the Internet and listening to everything that you say on your phone.  Every single day in America, the U.S. government intercepts and stores nearly 2 billion emails, phone calls and other forms of electronic communication.  Former NSA employees have come forward and have described exactly what is taking place, and this surveillance activity has been reported on by prominent news organizations such as the Washington Post, Fox News and CNN, but nobody really seems to get too upset about it.  Either most Americans are not aware of what is really going on or they have just accepted it as part of modern life.  But where will this end?  Do we really want to live in a dystopian “Big Brother society” where the government literally reads every single thing that we write and listens to every single thing that we say?  Is that what the future of America is going to look like?  If so, what do you think our founding fathers would have said about that?
