Now That The Election Is Over, Will Republicans And Democrats Learn How To Love One Another?

arguing-public-domainThe 2016 election will be remembered as perhaps the most contentious election in modern American history, and things often got extremely angry and bitter on a personal level. If you spend much time on Facebook or Twitter you know exactly what I am talking about. The vitriol on social media has been off the charts, and there are some people that are actually unfriending anyone that supported the candidate that they were against. This election has also torn apart families, friends and even entire churches. Relationships that took decades to build in some cases are now permanently shattered because of fighting over Trump and Clinton. (Read More...)

Prepare Your Homes And Neighborhoods For The Violence That Is Going To Sweep America

Crime - Bloody Handprint - Public DomainThe thin veneer of civilization that we all take for granted on a daily basis is beginning to disappear, and a new era of chaos and anarchy is coming to our cities.  I don’t know if you have noticed, but violence is increasing on the streets of America.  Over Memorial Day weekend, 29 people were shot in Baltimore and 55 people were shot in Chicago.  But of course the trend that I am talking about is much broader than that.  According to the FBI, the number of police officers “feloniously killed” in the line of duty rose by an astounding 89 percent in 2014.  We live at a time when Americans are becoming extremely angry and extremely frustrated, and this is only going to intensify as economic conditions worsen.  But already we have seen some of this anger and frustration boil over into violence in Ferguson and in Baltimore.  And you know what?  The vast majority of Americans expect more of the same in the coming months.  According to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News survey that was recently released, 96 percent of all Americans believe that there will be more civil unrest in America this summer.  What we have seen up until now is just the warm up act.  The main event is still to come. Uh Oh: 47 Million Food Stamp Recipients Are Having Their Benefits Cut Back On November 1st

Crying Girl - Photo by D Sharon Pruitt47.6 million Americans are about to have their food stamp benefits cut, and most of them have absolutely no idea that it is about to happen.  Needless to say, a lot of them are going to be very angry when they discover that they cannot buy as much food for their families anymore.  The reason that this is happening is because a temporary boost to food stamp benefits that was put in during the last recession is expiring.  But most of the people that are having their benefits cut will not understand this.  Most of them will just be very upset that the government is “taking money away” from them.  And considering the “mini-riots” that we witnessed earlier this month when the system that processes food stamp payments went down for a few hours, it is obvious that a lot of food stamp recipients can very easily be pushed over the edge.  So what would happen if we have another “debt ceiling crisis” in Washington D.C. early next year and food stamp benefits are temporarily cut off completely? Vendetta: Newt Gingrich Has Made It His Personal Mission To Destroy Mitt Romney

Newt Gingrich is so angry right now that his head just might explode.  Less than a month ago, Gingrich had a massive lead in Iowa.  At one point he was averaging 31 percent support in Iowa polls.  But after an unprecedented onslaught of negative advertising his numbers began to drop like a rock.  Ultimately, he finished in fourth place in Iowa with only 13 percent of the vote.  Pro-Romney “Super PACs” spent over $3 million on negative ads that just ripped Gingrich to shreds.  Of course considering his track record, that is not hard to do.  But Newt Gingrich is not someone that is just going to “forgive and forget”.  Gingrich honestly believed that he was going to win Iowa.  In fact, he was so confident at one point that he told ABC News that he would “be the nominee“.  Now that his dreams have been shattered by pro-Romney forces, Gingrich has apparently decided that he is going to make it his personal mission to destroy Mitt Romney.  The next few weeks of the Republican race should be very entertaining as Gingrich pursues this vendetta. 10 Signs That The American People Are Angrier Than Ever And Record Setting Government Transfer Payments Are Not Pacifying Them

Right now, about the only things that the American people can agree on is that they are angry and that they do not like the direction that this country is headed.  Of course a lot of this is being caused by the economy.  Unemployment is rampant, millions of families have been kicked out of their homes and our country is drowning in debt.  But the economy is not the only cause of what is happening.  There is a growing restlessness in America today.  An increasing number of people feel very empty and very frustrated.  We still have a very high standard of living compared to the rest of the world, and yet there is this growing sense that our country is right on the verge of something really bad.  The very fabric of our society is coming apart at the seams and the thin veneer of civilization that we all take for granted is beginning to disappear.  You can almost feel the fear in the air.
