End Of The American Dream

We are watching a slow-motion horror show unfold right in front of our eyes, and nobody seems to have a way to stop it.  The vast majority of the global population did not want World War III to happen, but it has started anyway.  For years I have been warning that such a conflict would erupt if we did not change course, and now here we are.  I am very angry at Vladimir Putin for launching a full-blown invasion of Ukraine, because he didn’t need to do that.  And I am also very angry at the Biden administration, European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for endless provoking the Russians and for refusing to negotiate an agreement which could have settled all of this peacefully.  I blame both sides for the war, because in my opinion it could have been avoided so easily.  But now that World War III has begun, there will be no going back. The economic sanctions that have been imposed on Russia by western powers are really going to hurt.  But they aren’t just going to hurt the Russians.  The measures that are now being implemented are going to be quite a shock for the entire global economic system, and all of us will be affected.  Energy prices will be going much higher, food prices will be going much higher, and the sanctions are going to cause chaos in the financial world for months to come.  Of course things were already starting to get really crazy even before the war began, but now our problems are really going to start to accelerate. Way too many people out there are treating the war between Russia and Ukraine as a form of entertainment.  Here in the western world, we like to make a game out of almost everything, but this isn’t a game.  When Russia invaded Ukraine, it marked the start of World War 3, and it also initiated the countdown to nuclear war.  What we should be rooting for is an end to the shooting in Ukraine and for governments on both sides of the conflict to do all they can to de-escalate the situation.  But instead, each new day brings more escalations.  For example, on Sunday EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell announced that EU nations would be providing fighter jets directly to the Ukrainian military… (Read More...)

We now have a war that the vast majority of us never wanted.  All of our lives are going to be turned upside down, the global economy is going to be absolutely eviscerated, and countless numbers of people are going to die.  I am very angry with Vladimir Putin and the Russians for launching a full-blown invasion, because it didn’t need to happen.  And I am also very angry with the Biden administration because it would have been so easy to find a diplomatic solution to this crisis.  Unfortunately, the time for diplomacy is now over and World War III has begun. The Biden administration may believe otherwise, but the truth is that the days when the United States could dictate how everyone else in the world is going to behave have come to an end.  Russia is demonstrating how weak the U.S. has become by moving troops into Donetsk and Luhansk.  And China keeps talking about a “permanent solution” in Taiwan.  Now that the western world is fixated on Ukraine, the Chinese may decide that this is a perfect time to make a move.  On top of everything else, a major conflict between Israel and Iran could literally erupt at any time, and the Biden administration is not going to be able to prevent it from happening. I have been watching the H5N1 bird flu for a very long time.  Many of my readers don’t even know this, but many years ago I actually had an entire website that was dedicated to tracking the latest news regarding bird flu.  Fortunately, H5N1 hasn’t been a significant threat for ages, but now it is back.  It is spreading very rapidly in birds in North America right now, and some experts are concerned that it could mutate into a version that could begin spreading easily in humans.  If that happens, it would make the COVID pandemic look like a bad joke in comparison, because the death rate for H5N1 in humans is extremely high. After this, the world will never look at Canada the same way again.  Once upon a time, Canada was such a civilized place, but now regime thugs are brutalizing women in the streets.  Many of us were raised at a time when men were still taught to never, ever hit women, and so to see police in Ottawa do what they are doing is beyond shocking.  This is absolutely sickening behavior by Trudeau’s minions, and those involved should go to prison. Some brand new numbers that have just been released confirm the fact that the United States is undergoing an extremely dramatic cultural transformation.  It can be so easy to focus on our constantly evolving news cycles and the day to day battles between Democrats and Republicans, but when you step back and look at the bigger picture it is undeniable what is happening to this nation.  America’s foundational values have radically shifted over time, and that is far more important than any short-term political victories or losses.  If these trends continue, America’s future will look completely different from America’s past.
