When we celebrate the birth of Jesus, we are celebrating one of the most improbable miracles in all of human history.  You see, the truth is that not just anyone could have showed up and claimed to be the Messiah.  According to the Scriptures, the Messiah had to come from a very specific bloodline, the Messiah had to be born at a very specific place, and the Messiah had to be born at a very specific time.  It was exceedingly unlikely that anyone would ever be able to fulfill all of those prophecies, but Jesus did.  The prophecies about the first coming of Christ that we find in the Bible are powerful evidence for the reality of the Christian faith, and yet these prophecies are rarely taught in our churches today. Why do drones keep invading U.S. airspace along the east coast night after night?  Many people have asked me about this, and honestly I have not come to any definitive conclusions yet.  But there are two things that appear to be quite clear.  First of all, most of the drones that people are seeing are man-made drones.  Secondly, the government seems to know a lot more about these drones than they are telling us.  Hopefully we will get some solid answers soon, but for now lots of strange theories are flying around.  Personally, I think that there are elements of the truth in a number of these theories, while others are just wild speculation. The Russians keep warning us that launching long-range missiles provided by NATO into Russia could spark a nuclear war, but that hasn’t done any good.  In fact, more ATACMS missiles provided by the United States were just fired at the Russian city of Taganrog.  By approving these long-range missile strikes, Joe Biden has literally brought us to the brink of nuclear war.  Thankfully, there is one thing that is preventing Russia from unleashing a nuclear apocalypse right now.  The Russians are counting down the days to the inauguration of Donald Trump, because they see him as the last best hope for peace.  The Russians would very much prefer to avoid a nuclear confrontation, and they have been greatly encouraged by what Trump has been saying about the war in Ukraine.  But if the Russians ultimately conclude that there is no way to avoid an all-out war between our two nations after negotiating with Trump, all bets are off. Have you noticed that the U.S. has been getting monkey-hammered by one natural disaster after another this year?  In fact, we have reached a point where some sort of a natural disaster is making news literally almost every single day.  This week, there have already been several natural disasters that have made headlines all over the country.  Last week, California was hit by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake.  Of course much of the Southeast is still trying to recover from Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.  Frankly, I have never seen anything quite like this. While radical Sunni militants were conquering Damascus, Israel was conducting an absolutely massive bombing campaign inside Syria that is unlike anything we have seen before.  The IDF is telling us that more than 350 targets were hit.  Basically the goal was to destroy as much military hardware as possible so that it would not fall into the hands of the militants.  The Israelis were concerned that the militants might use the military hardware that they inherited against them, and so they took pre-emptive action.  Unfortunately, the militants are now steaming mad, and some of them are already publicly threatening Israel.
